I'm not altogether knowledgeable on how to bea mod but I want to help in some way. Is there anything I can do?

Hello! First off, thank you so much for your interest and for reaching out to us! Both our mod and contributor applications are currently closed, but there are still other ways you can help, both with this charity and with the situation in general!

The first is by submitting fanart and fic requests (once those forms are open) here with us (@twst-charity) by sending a screenshot/receipt of a donation made to one of three charities (Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, Medical Aid for Palestine, or Anera).

A very quick, easy, and free way to help is also by visiting this site and clicking the big, red, help button. If you’ve ever wanted to hit a big red button, now is the time to do so. This generates a donation to UNRWA to help Palestine.

Unfortunately, as many have heard by now, even these charities have been struggling to deliver resources to the people of Palestine due to blockades and frozen accounts, etc. Anera seems to continue to be successful in still getting resources where they are most needed, but the situation is constantly changing. We will be continuing to help raise donations in hopes that, as soon as there is an opportunity to do so, those charities will have the means and funds to make a difference.

However! There are still other ways to help Palestine and show your support. The first – and most important - is spreading awareness. Learn what is going on now and has been for the past 75 years. Be aware of propaganda and misinformation, whether purposeful or accidental. Archive tweets and posts and videos so that they cannot be scrubbed from the internet by those hoping to erase evidence of the genocide in Gaza. The importance of spreading the truth cannot be underestimated, especially with Netanyahu and the IOF increasing propaganda. Popular tags to do this include: #CeaseFireInGaza #CeasefireNOW and #FreePalestine!

Signing petitions and contacting representatives is also a good way to show your stance. Unfortunately, this does have some risk, due to organizations like c4n4ry mlssl@n (censored for safety) doxxing people who support Palestine.

Boycotting is another method that has been showing signs of success! The boycotting effort is being directed by the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), which is the Palestinian leaderships of the global Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) Movement. Frankly, far too many brands and celebrities have shown support for Palestine for the average person to avoid all of them. So, a certain few have been picked to have the most impact.

Boycott: Starbucks, McDonalds, Disney+ (which means no TWST microtransactions, y’all!), Domino’s Pizza, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, Burger King, AXA, Puma, Carrefour, hp, Siemens, Ahava, sodastream, and Israeli businesses. (Note from Mod Ryuu: This does NOT mean a general boycott on all Jewish businesses! Don’t be that person. You’re not helping.)

If you want to proudly show your support of Palestine IRL – and are safe to do so – a popular method is by wearing a Kufiya, the iconic scarf of Palestine. You can order an authentic Kufiya from Hirbawi at kufiya.org or from Kufiyas Australia at kufiyas.org.au If you’re not in a position where that’s possible, there are two other popular methods. The first is simply by wearing the colors of Palestine: Red, Green, White, and Black. The second ties into those colors and the history of colonialism in Palestine, where once it was illegal to fly the Palestine flag. Instead, people used the watermelon as a symbol to represent the flag. If you need a subtle means of showing support, the watermelon is the way to go.

THINGS NOT TO DO:

-Break the boycott, including doing things like ordering a bunch of food and then ditching without paying. You are only making life harder for the minimum wage employees doing their best, not the billionaires behind them.

-Do not spam the tags with posts not related to Palestine, etc. Keep your fandoms in their fandom spaces and so on. Unless, of course, you are doing a charity drive or something similar through your fandom.

-Be antisemitic. DO NOT harass or accuse Jewish people of being responsible for this genocide. Jewish people across the world have been protesting in defense of the Palestinian people even before this latest war began. More than 2/3 of people in Israel disagree with Netanyahu and the IOF based on recent polling.

First Date With Floyd Leech (Floyd Leech x Reader)

Hello fellow Floyd Leech lovers! This is my offering to y’all, and I hope you enjoy!

Floyd hummed an off-kilter tune as he practically skipped down to the ramshackle dorm. He gripped a bouquet of sea-anemone-like flowers and had a duffel bag slung over his shoulder. The flowers wriggled in the air excitedly, seemingly feeding off of Floyd’s excited energy.

He came to a stop in front of the dorm with a bounce, eyes glimmering. He shook his free hand excitedly, it quickly becoming a blur.

He finally had a date with his Shrimpy! Oh! He was so excited he could hardly stand it! Calming his hand, he knocked on the door.

“Shriiimpy! I’m here!” The sounds of feet pounding against the rickety stairs were heard before they stopped in front of the door. There was a moment's pause before the door swung open, revealing an excited Y/N.

“Floyd! You’re here!”

“Of course I am! Do you really think I would ditch my beloved Shrimpy? I’m hurt.” He faked a pout, crossing his arms and turning away from them.

“Aw, don’t be like that! You know I care about you.” Y/N smiled, walking around to his side so that they were face to face…ish. They were much shorter than him.

Floyd let out an exaggerated sigh, smiling as he did so.

“Alright, I forgive ya Shrimpy…” In a sudden burst of movement, he grabbed their hand and ran off laughing.

“C’mon! I have so much planned!”

Y/N and Floyd walked through the city together, holding hands.

“So, where are you taking me.”

“It’s a surprise~.”

“Pleeeeeeease?”

“Nope! I don’t want to ruin it.” Y/N sighed, giving Floyd’s hand a small squeeze. Floyd giggled, squeezing their hand back, albeit much tighter.

“C’mon, we’re nearly there!” He then burst into a sprint, dragging Y/N behind him as he ran to the park.

He stopped to a dead halt at the park’s tennis court, slinging the duffel bag off his shoulder. Y/N eyed it curiously as Floyd zipped it open.

Inside was a bag of ping-pong balls and two paddles, as well as what looked like tupperwares in the corners.

Floyd grabbed the paddles and the bag, standing up with a grin!

“Pickleball!”

“Pickleball?”

“Pickleball! It’s always seemed really fun, so I thought we could play it together!” He grinned, his sharp teeth glinting in the sunshine.

“...have you ever played it before?”

“Nope! But I read up on the rules!” Y/N nodded, taking one of the paddles.

“Well then, let’s play.”

Pickleball wasn’t all bad, actually. While similar to tennis, there were a few odd rules. The ideal game for Floyd Leech. He laughed, taunting Y/N from the other side of the net.

“C’mon Shrimpy~! Serve it already!”

“I would if you stopped distracting me.”

“Me? Distracting you? I would never!” He clutched his chest, doing his best to look offended.

It wasn’t that great, causing Y/N to burst out laughing again. This then caused Floyd to laugh.

“Alright, here it comes!” Y/N served the ball, sending it over the net and bouncing it onto the ground. In an instant, Floyd was back into game mode, hitting the ball back to them.

Y/N laughed, hitting the ball back once it bounced. This went on for a while until Y/N was thoroughly worn out and Floyd had won. Somehow he seemed to have barely broken a sweat.

As Y/N panted, hands on their knees, Floyd walked over, water bottle in hand.

“Aw, is my little Shrimpy tired already?” They nodded, unable to speak. He laughed quietly, tapping their face with a cold water bottle.

“C’mon, drink up. We can’t have you worn out yet!” Y/N took it, taking a swig. Floyd dragged them to their next activity as they began to close the water bottle.

They stopped at a small lake, where bird-shaped boats were tied to the doc.

“Here we are!” Y/N looked at them, perplexed. There weren’t any oars on the vessel.

“...how does it move?”

“The pedals! Silly Shrimpy~!” Y/N was utterly baffled as Floyd went to talk to the person at the doc about procuring a boat for the two of them.

As he did so, Y/N wandered over to one of the boats, peering down. There were, in fact, pedals.

They suddenly lurched forward and were pushed into the boat. Looking up at the figure behind them, surprise surprise, it was Floyd.

He cackled, slapping his knee as he did so.

“You should be more careful! Never know what’s behind you.” Y/N grumbled, struggling to get up and sit in one of the two seats. Floyd cooed as he sat down next to them, pulling them up.

“Aw, was I too rough with my precious little Shrimpy?” Y/N didn’t respond, just rubbing their forehead.

“Here, let good ol’ Floyd kiss it better~.” He took Y/N’s head and pulled them forward, kissing their forehead. They giggled, pulling away.

“Thanks.”

“No problem!” Deciding not to wait any longer, Floyd began to pedal them away from the shore with Y/N struggling to keep up. Soon though, they were semi-in sync, pedaling along the lake.

“Shrimpy! Look!” Y/N turned to look in mild horror as Floyd gripped a medium-sized trout.

“I caught lunch!” They blinked in shock as the trout flapped around violently, unable to escape his grip. Floyd laughed, dangling it closer to their face.

“Doesn’t it look yummy?”

“Floyd, I don’t think either of us brought a way to clean or cook a fish…”

“So?”

“So that means we can’t eat it.” Floyd pouted before tossing the unfortunate fish back into the lake.

“You’re no fun.”

The pair continued to paddle around for a while, laughing and looking at the different bits of scenery.

Eventually, they headed back to shore with Floyd helping Y/N out of the bird boat.

As soon as their feet landed on the doc they were swept off their feet quite literally as Floyd ran off with them in his arms towards the grassy area of the park.

Y/N wrapped their arms around Floyd’s neck as he ran, desperate not to fly out of his arms. Just as they were getting used to the speed, he slowed down and spun them gently before plopping them down on a picnic blanket.

“Eh~! What do you think Shrimpy?”

Laid out before the two of them was a small but bountiful picnic. Y/N blinked in surprise for a moment before smiling.

“Did you make all of this Floyd?”

“Mhm! Well, maybe there was a liiiittle help from Jade, but who's counting?” Floyd picked up one of the paper plates that held Takoyaki. How it was still warm, you had no idea.

Grabbing a pair of chopsticks, he picked up one of the balls and held it in front of Y/N’s mouth.

“Say aaaaaa~!”

“Aaaaaa!” They ate the ball, fanning their mouth as they chewed. It was still very hot. Floyd giggled.

“Good, right!” Y/N nodded, swallowing.

“My turn! My turn!” Grabbing their pair of chopsticks, Y/N then fed Floyd a Takoyaki.

This went back and forth for a while, the two feeding eachother the different foods Floyd had prepared, laughing and joking the entire time.

However, all good things come to an end.

Just as Floyd bit down on a piece of broccoli, the sky broke open and soaked them both.

He stood still for a moment before standing up and stamping his feet, kicking around the tupperware.

“NO FAIR! IT’S NOT FAIR!” Tears streamed down his face as he continued to stomp and kick, crying out about how it wasn’t fair.

Y/N cautiously approached him, placing a hand on his forearm.

“Floyd?”

“WHAT?!” He turned to them, fuming.

“...I still had a great time today.” He paused, looking at them with wide eyes.

“Besides, who says the date has to be over because of a little shower?” He continued to stand in silence for a moment before bursting out laughing.

“You’re right! Our date isn’t over yet!” He grabbed them by the waist and spun them around, laughing happily.

“Feeling better?” Y/N leaned on Floyd’s shoulder, snuggling into the blanket wrapped around the two of them.

“Mhm! Nice and warm!” Floyd pecked them on the cheek, laughing as their face flushed.

“Aw~! My shrimpy is soooo cute!”

“Mhm. I’m your Shrimp. All yours.”

"Hey, Jade, I found these at Sam's shop and I thought of you!" They say as they hand Jade a bag of those mushroom-shaped chocolates

"Delightful!" Jade happily took the bag off your hands and immediately dug in, the number of chocolates in the bag very quickly disappear into his large maw. And yet somehow while he chowed down on the snack, he was able to maintain that air of dignity that he always carried himself with.

"A meager tidbit, yet it should tide me over for half an hour." He nods, satisfied. "How kind of you to think of me. Now, speaking of mushroom-shaped chocolates, were you aware that you can make chocolates with mushrooms as an ingredient, as well?"

Jade pulls open a notebook that he had on his desk, flipping to a page with a red tab and tapping the words written there. "Yes, dehydrate your choice of mushrooms and grind them up, then add them to your melted chocolate. It adds a nice savory taste to the sweetness."

He chuckles, placing the notebook back on his desk. "I wonder if Sam-san would have that available, or if I would have to experiment myself...?"

♡　I just like to think that despite how long Azul has known and been with the tweels he just never really got used to physically touch. it always flusters him when Floyd hugs him or Jade pats his shoulder

♡　A random thought i had is that sometimes Jade will fall asleep mid-shift in Mostro Lounge. Floyd just finds him one day underneath a table and has to drag him to their room. the poor baby he simply got a little overstimulated and fell asleep</3

♡　^^^^Now this doesn't happen often and Jade can obviously maintain his composer very well, unlike his twin, but once in a blue moon i feel like when Jade has had too much peopling he finds a place to hide and just becomes a precious eepy boi

♡　When i say Floyd screams autism i don't just mean he's autistic. i mean he'll literally scream "AUTISM!!!" sometimes. just because he can most of the time

♡　Floyd is so autistic he just hates the texture of gloves and refuses to wear them most of the time Jade and Azul have to force him into wearing his gloves in his dorm uniform. he'll pout abt it for a bit then just kinda forgot

♡　SPEAKING OF GLOVES‼️Azul is good with keeping it on the down-low, but i hc that he has Hyperhidrosis (aka hella sweaty hands) so he doesn't like to take off his gloves when in public unless he absolutely needs to. he's also very cations abt handshakes sometimes

♡　Lets face it tho they're all autistic to some degree lmao

♡　Floyd's favorite song is Two Trucks by Lemon Demon you can fight me on this idgaf. he will aggressively sing and dance to this song so often it's basically how he stims

Vice dorm leaders receiving a massage

We all know that the vice leaders of Twisted Wonderland work a lot and today was no exception, I think it's time to reward them for their efforts, don't you think?

TREY

He's been cooking all day for a non-birthday party. Today was a special occasion so he had to prepare an absurd amount of desserts

Even with all the help of various members of Heartslabyul. It was still ridiculously stressful.

When the party finished Trey went to his room and just lay down on the bed wanting to rest, but he couldn't disconnect from work

You saw him walking into his room, although he didn't express it you could see that he was exhausted both physically and mentally

So you knocked on his door and walked in, you were worried about him and you ask him if you could do something for him.

"Heh, if you could just take the stress off my shoulders." He said jokingly still laying down, but he didn't expect you to sit on his bed and ask him to get up and sit.

He was more surprised when you started to massage his shoulders and later his entire back. Without realizing it he had begun to relax

After a while you could hear a sigh of relief, it seemed as if he had released the last trace of stress that he had.

When you finished with the massage. Trey turned around and lay with you on the bed with a calm smile.

He just sighed a "Thank you" before finally falling asleep.

RUGGIE

You don't understand how Ruggie endures on to Leona in the first place, but you know Leona has been more demanding than usual today

Wash his clothes for the week, get the dishes of the day for him (Or even cook for him), do all Leona homework plus his own homework

If you didn't confront the dorm leader earlier, it's because you found Ruggie exhausted and on the verge to collapse. You will may be mad with the lion, but the hyena was more important

Before Ruggie could continue on his way, you drag him into his room and ask him to lie face down on the bed.

“Hey S/o you know I'm busy I still have to-” He sighed a little but when you gave him a firm, concerned look he relented. The hyena let you take off his jacket and he lay down on his bed

At first he seemed a bit reluctant when you started touching his back. He was tense and couldn't help but remember a certain hunter

But you finally get him to relax and forget what he was doing.

You can also see how his tail wags slightly, his ears droop and you could swear hear a little purr from him

You can see how Ruggie's phone starts to vibrate in his jacket: It was Leona, you immediately hung up on him and turned off the phone

JADE

The Monstro Lounge was busier than usual, on the one hand, you were happy because the business was good, but on the other hand, you were worried about the work that was going to accumulate

It was hard to tell when Jade was exhausted, he always kept that smile and that perfect butler facade. There was no doubt that he was a professional

However, when a troublesome customer started getting on his nerves, he heaved an exhausted sigh. You already realized that you needed to take him out for a moment

Azul was outside his office and you took the opportunity to ask him if he could let Jade go with you since he seemed a bit tired. Azul seems surprised that you saw it

"How do you know?" "Ah... Well I..." "No, I mean, I trust in you, but-" "So can I take Jade for a moment?" Azul knew you were going to keep insisting so he gave in "... 20 minutes"

Saying this, you did not hesitate to take Jade to Octavinelle's main room and unlike the lounge the receiver was empty

"I appreciate you worrying for me, but I'm perfectly fine, I didn't need to-" You cut him off when you looked into his eyes, that defiant look made the eel smile "Okay, okay, so what do you want me to do?"

You sat on the sofa and told him to do it too, but with his back to you. Jade knew exactly what you wanted to do to her and she played along.

You started massaging his shoulders and I didn't expect to enjoy it so much. You and the eel can feel how he relaxing while you doing it. He had heard how relaxing they were, but it was better than he expected.

The 20 minutes passed quickly and they both knew that he had to go back to work... "Little fish, we'll resume the massage when the night is over, right?"

JAMIL

It wasn't new to you that Jamil was been busy tending to Kalim plus all the parties going on in Scarabia.

But today he was particularly grumpy. Possibly because of all the accumulated stress

You couldn't tell him to absent because after all it was his job to take care of Kalim and it was difficult to convince the leader not to have any parties because well, makes (almost) everyone happy... But then you had an idea

You asked Kalim if they could 'have a calm afternoon' in Scarabia today. He seemed a little discouraged at first, but when you mentioned going to the oasis and his smile lit up.

It was the perfect place. A day at the oasis where Jamil can keep an eye on Kalim but also relax. So all of Scarabia went on an excursion to the oasis

Jamil seemed happy that he didn't have to work so much that day. So you took the young man to bathe with you. He would normally refuse, but he didn't seem put up much resistance today.

The boy was still alert and in fact when you touched his back he stiffened from your touch. You asked him to relax and reluctantly he remained at your disposal

With a bit of hesitation he let you touch and massage his back. Oh god, he didn't know what was in store for him when you started squeezing his most sore spots.

He was in glory. He was the one who normally gave the massages and this was the first time he was given this same treatment. Add the fact that you were there spending time with him (which was already something scarce) in addition to how refreshing the water was, He was in paradise!

Jamil may suggest going to the oasis more often. Especially if you are there

ROOK

It was strange that our hunter was tired or stressed, he has the same beauty and care sessions as the queen so, unlike the rest of the vice leaders, he's normally in a better mood

That does not prevent you from wanting to have a nice detail with him, Rook was always aware of your well-being so you also wanted to return that treatment

You were in the forest of Pomefiore, it was a particularly good day so it was ideal for a picnic

So when both of them were resting lying next to each other, you suggest giving him a massage. Of course Rook will be delighted with this "gesture of love"

He took off his jacket and then sat with his back to you, he was at your full disposal. You followed him by getting on your knees behind him

You started massaging his back, his shoulders and his collarbone, you noticed that he was a bit tense at first, but he quickly relaxed at your touch.

You could hear a humming from him and before you could check his condition, he laid his head on your lap.

You were surprised see him for the first time with a slight blush and a genuine smile. He was really happy that you did this for him

Rook looked at you, took one of your hands and put it on his cheek, sighing at your touch.

"Mon Amour, let me return the favor, you have alleviated all my concerns with your hands, this is the least I can do" Rook kisses the palm of your hand waiting for your answer

ORTHO

Literally incapable of feeling stress, Iida made sure his brother didn't go through those kinds of feelings.

BUT Ortho can detect the stress of others especially his brother and wanted to help him in some way. Iida didn't seem willing to ask for help so he went looking for you for advice.

You tell your experience and suggest many ways to help relax that he can use with Iida and the others, but Ortho drew his attention to one in particular: massages.

You explain a bit how it works, but he needs a practical example so he turns his back. You didn't know exactly how to massage him considering his metallic body, but suddenly, the boy commented:

“Oh! I have sensors to detect your touches, don't worry!” Then you touch his back and I actually detect your movements

You show him with light touches on his shoulders, back and part of the spine points where they can help de-stress the body. He records everything and seems to understand how it works

Ortho asks if he can apply what he learned on you and you offers your back to him.

He was a bit rough at first, but with patience, he learned quite quickly and why not say it, the massage was quite pleasing.

He is a good robo-child, but he is aware that he has a lot of strength and can inadvertently hurt you, so he asks you a lot if he does it well.

He will not hesitate in apply all this to Iida once he returns to his room.

LILIA

Lilia does not usually get stressed, but he does get tired and you can tell when he is weary. Especially when he’s being the 'father' of 3 teenagers

Today was one of those long days where he was effectively exhausted, seeing you waiting for him in the main hall made he smile and hugged you

Seeing that he didn't surprise you like he normally would made you suspicious of his condition and you asked him

"Yes... I'm just glad to see you" The bat whispered, you kissed his cheek and looked into his eyes for a moment. You asked if you could do something for him

Lilia smiles at you and affirms that only being here is sufficient but that response it didn't satisfy you and he realized "Well, if you really want... You could give me a massage" he suggests and you seemed more pleased

They both sit on the sofa and he turns his back, as you massage him he also tells you where to touch and it feels great

Lilia is the one who usually takes care of others, so seeing how you take care of him makes him feel loved.

After a while he tells you it's enough for today, at first you thought he had done something wrong, but suddenly he turned around and hugged you again.

Slowly leaned towards you causing you both to lie on the sofa, Lilia being on top of you resting his head on your chest and suspire at the peace he felt.

He was going to suggest that you give these massages to Malleus, Silver or Sebek… But he prefers to be egoistic and have these moments only for himself
