So I've been using Vallejo primer for ages and I hate it. It clogs my airbrush, it smells bad and it tears off the model if you accidentally touch it before it's dry.
So I went on a hunt for a new primer, but everyone seemed to recommend either Citadel Chaos Black spray can and I can't use that inside. Or Vallejo.
So when I saw one of my favourite YouTubers use Molotow one4all Acrylic as a primer for his minis I decided to try it. And holy crap is this good!
It doesn't clog my airbrush at all. I've just primed 6 vehicles and a bunch of dudes and I didn't have to clean the airbrush once. And it is so easy to make a gradient now. The flow is perfect.
Priming has gone from a necessary evil to something actually quite fun :D. So what I'm saying is, if something doesn't work for you, please try something else, even if everyone else says the thing you don't like is great.
Finished this a few weeks ago, and my loving partner was excited (can you imagine - someone else enthusiastic about your little paint doodles) to hang it in our office. It's called Memento Floure - Remember you will Bloom, a meditation on moving towards my dreams in spite of myself and *gestures vaguely* life.
