All of my big dogs had begged for bacon and given up when my little morkie, Lucy, came over and started begging. My brother compared it to Europe where they would "boldly go where no one has gone before, but there were people there."

I told Lucy that she's European, and my mom laughed and told Lucy that she's peeing.

Having got into the habit of reading a few pages of a Pratchett book every night before bed, I finally reread the Nomes trilogy, which was one of the very first Pratchett stories I read, when I was 14 or so, long before discovering the Discworld, and I LOVED it so much. I remember ranting about it to my (very fantasy-adverse) mother in her car once. The bromeliad thing blew my mind back then!

Curiously, though, I'd never drawn these characters before. That is now fixed! Have a little gallery of nomes:

I already answered this one for Blaise and Luna, but I have so many favorite ships I’ll answer it again 💛

As far as I know, it’s not a very popular ship, but I adore Astoria and Ginny together. Last year I created an entire AU for the Slytherin gang and Astoria and Ginny practically shipped themselves together.

I think they’re a strangers to best friends to lovers case. My headcanon for them is that after the diary, Ginny felt closer to Slytherin than she did Gryffindor, so she started seeking friends there.

Astoria definitely helps Ginny discover the more feminine side of herself. I HC that Ginny has a slightly negative view of women and femininity due to growing up with so many older brothers, but Astoria challenges that and the two become literally inseparable.

(I could go on and on about the friendship and eventual soft slow burn between the two but I’ll save that for an actual headcanon thing sometime)

❄️ ⇢ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?

My dream plot for a fic is based around the Slytherin gang AU I have. It’s a best friend’s older brother fic about Tom Riddle and has just the absolute BEST comedic and found family moments.

TBH, I have no idea who would write it best. Given how extensive my plotting of the AU is, it would genuinely either end up being me or my irl best friend bc I tell her about it all the time.

I do!! I have one dog (she’s more my sister’s, really). She’s a Morkie, or Maltese Yorkie. Her name is Isabella Fitz, or Fitzie for short. (She’s named after my favorite girl’s name and a character from the TV show Agents of SHIELD)

Some other stuff about me is I'm a Retro Video Game collector with numerous consule systems. I'm a big Final Fantasy nerd. I love working with my hands. Guess what? I'm going to be a fur mommy!!!!

My Aunt and Uncle (God-Parents), who rescue dogs, a few months ago rescued a beautiful female Morkie. Originally they wanted to keep her,but I told them that if something came up that I would love to adopt her. Well cut to yesterday, my Aunt T and her husband came by to talk about a wooden front door sign that I made for their home and we are talking and she pulls out and shows my mom and I a male toy Yorkie named Gunner that was surrendered to them a few days ago. She asked if I was still interested in her Morkie and I said,"Of course are you stupid or something?", lol I didn't actually say that, but I did say of course. So I would like my Tumblr family to meet the newest member of my family.

Maya is now named London. She took to her new name right away. She is a spoiled princess and knows it lol!

Chapter 16: The Happiest Light Pollution of All

Wembley definitely made a striking sight hauling Boober out of what he presumed was the smouldering ruin of his house. Boober had never felt so safe and secure as he did slung over the back of Wembley like a sack of radishes. He wanted to scream “for goodness sake, Wembley, there’s no emergency, the toast is just a little burnt, put me down!” but he could not bring himself to. It was too wonderful. He had never been held like this.

Wembley put Boober down a short distance from his house. “Oh, Boober,” he said, “What are you going to do now that your cave is on fire?”

“But it’s not on fire, Wembley, the toast just burnt a little!”

“But it must be!” said Wembley. “I could see this bright orange light out of the corners of my eye—like the flames were licking at our backs—as a matter of fact I can still… see those… flames…” He turned around slowly. “Oh, Boober!”

“What is it?” grumbled Boober, who could already tell what it was.

“Your tail—it’s so beautiful! It’s brighter than I’ve ever seen it before!”

“My goodness. It sure is bright.”

“Can I—feel it?”

“Uh… sure,” said Boober. “Yeah, that sounds nice.” Wembley fidgeted with his tail for about two minutes. “Wait a second, Wembley, I just remembered I have to turn off the stove or the toast might catch fire. Hang on,” Boober said, and then ran into his house and turned it off, making sure to pour some water on the toast just to be sure. He went out waving the air in front of him.

“Woof!” he said, “It won’t suffocate you, but that’s sure a lot of smoke! We’ll have to sit here until it clears out.”

“That’s fine with me,” said Wembley, beginning to fidget with the tail again.

“It’s fine with me, too,” said Boober, putting his arm around him. “You’re a good friend, Wembley.”

“You’re a good friend too, Boober.”

“You’re fun in a—in a safe way. I feel so safe when we’re… like this…”

“You mean like—touching?”

“Yeah… and so happy… You’re the funniest guy I know, too. I remember one time I had so much fun with you that I ran home and I put my pillow over my head and I—I actually guffawed.”

“You guffawed?” Wembley cried, in shock.”

“Yes,” said Boober. “I can’t even remember what we did that day, but it was so much fun.” He pulled Wembley a little closer. He could feel Wembley’s tail begin to curl around him.

“You know,” said Wembley, “We’ve never been this close before. It’s nice.”

“It sure is,” said Boober. Presently, he said “You know, I don’t think I was ever in love with Tosh at all.”

“You weren’t?”

“No, I was denying some other love… a deeper love… a love I didn’t want to admit because—because I didn’t want to hurt him…”

“I’m sure you wouldn’t,” said Wembley as his heart raced. “You… couldn’t hurt anybody… Who is it?”

“You don’t know?”

“I—I might… could you just say where he is?”

“He’s sitting riiiight next to me.”

Wembley looked around. “But Boober, there’s nobody sitting next to us!”

“Oh, Wembley, it’s you!” Wembley gasped.

“ME?”

“Yes. I—I hope you’re not mad. I hope you won’t--”

“I’m not mad at all, Boober! I couldn’t be happier! Oh, Boober, I love you!” he cried, squeezing Boober as tight as he possibly could. “I was only dating Lou because I—I was denying myself too…”

“Then, if we love each other, can I… can I kiss you?”

“YES!” screamed Wembley.

“Shh,” whispered Boober, “People will hear us…” Then they began to kiss each other, over and over again, peppering each other’s faces with roughly a hundred kisses.

Unfortunately, Boober was right. They were indeed overheard by a woman who wanted to settle a bet. Icy Joe ran all the way to Mokey’s house, even though the night had fallen, and burst through the door screaming with laughter. “BWAHAHAHAHA!! I was right and you was wrong! Those little homo twinks is busting slob as we SPEAK! I was right! I was right! BWAHAHA… Ha… ha…” Her eyeballs focused and she realized that she had interrupted another scene of homosexual slob-busting.

“Icy Joe, what are you doing here?”

“Hi Morky, Hi Rouge, I was just here to… settle a little bet we made concernding Boobler and Whumbley. I—I didn’t realize you two were… uh… I’M SO SORRY!” She ran out of the room.

“I forgive you!” Mokey cried. “You had no idea--” But it was too late. She was already gone. “Well, that’s nice,” said Mokey.

“No it wasn’t,” mumbled Red. “She almost ruined the mood. Almost…”

“No, Red, not that,” said Mokey. “The bet she was talking about—it was over whether or not Boober and Wembley were in love with each other.”

“Oh, I see.”

“And if I lost, she got to laugh at me for ten minutes straight. I bet against it—that means they’re in love!”

“Oh!”

“Oh, Red, it’s beautiful—now we’ve all found love, those of us who want it--”

“Yeah,” said Red, as they began to kiss again. “It’s very nice...”

Are you named after anyone?  Yes! Both a soap opera character (i have never been told the name of it) and also. uh. eminem’s daughter? don’t question it-

When was the last time you cried? About a week ago, I think? I typically only cry maybe once a month. Not big on it.

Do you have kids?  I have stuffed animals?

Do you use sarcasm a lot?  Ehhh? Yes but also no? I used to be super sarcastic, but I think my humor now is more playful than that?? 

What sports do you play/have you played?  I used to really like sports when I was younger! I played volleyball for about six years, but I also dabbled in a bit of softball, tennis, long jump, gymnastics, and cheerleading! I also was in marching band for several years.

What’s the first thing you notice about other people? Aesthetics. I love clothes, so it’s one of the first things I notice, unfortunately.

Scary movies or happy endings?  Happy endings! Scary movies and I don’t tend to mix (with a few exceptions)

Any special talents? I’m big into acting. I actually study Theatre Education right now!

Where were you born? The United States

What are your hobbies? Acting, Singing, and a bit of Drawing

Do you have any pets? I have a morkie. I love him sm.

Fave subject in school? I actually really love Math and I almost majored in Math Education!

Actually yes my late great aunt and I share a middle name and my first name although a different spelling I am named after Geordi La Forge from Star Trek.

2. When was the last time you cried?

like on purpose or by accident? Because I cried at 3am listening to a sad song while imaging one of my characters that I’m about to put through so much pain. Purposely? I watched encanto again and knew I was gonna cry.

3. Do you have kids?

I used to be a step parent with step kids. I talk to them occasionally and their other parent not the one I was married to

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Usually how they respond to me as a person. I know I can come off as very intimidating without meaning to. But I open up so easily once I get a read on you. Physically? Usually clothing, hair, stuff like that. Hygiene.

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

Both? But mainly scary movies or Let’s Plays because I watch stuff as I’m drawing or writing so I don’t have to focus on them, then after a while like 3rd time watching it’s not scary and I can watch the whole thing without being freaked out.

My hands and feet are two very noticeably different sizes and while that’s not a talent it’s pretty cool to me.

You can see the hospital I was born at in the movie Twister.

Reading, drawing, writing… blah blah blah. I love to cook and bake.

I have a Morkie named Feyre who now sorta belongs to my mom’s dog

i think tumblr might've ate it bc i don't see a dog ask 🤧. but my dog's name is Bruno, he's a 4 y/o morkie, and he's absolutely crazy. these days, he's mostly chill with me, like he'll sit and sleep or sit and vibe while i work from home. but when everyone gets home from work, he just gets so full of energy and wants to play. he's the type of dog that will bark at anything and everything. any noise outside the house, he will bark. that's just how he is. he thinks he's protecting us and we let him think that 😅

If you want a cuddly small dog, I suggest a Maltese, or even a morkie. Both are very docile and calm, very loyal, and love cuddles. They are also less maintenance than most dogs.

Oh yeah, Maltese are awesome. I like the calm lapdog energy, I would only really worry about grooming
