I like to draw characters that receive little attention…I don't know exactly why. But I get excited when I study the world of the Witcher in detail, discover it for myself again and again…

And I like to draw them! Especially the inhabitants of this world (well, I haven't been in the fandom for so long, so I mostly draw elves first)! So it all seems to come to life in a new way and again, other fans can remember these characters🍃

Of course, it's a little sad that because of their low recognition or lack of popularity / attention, my art and creativity already remain in the "shadow"…But I'm still happy to contribute to this fandom✨

Many of the characters can get their chance that way, that's how I see it and I like it. Once I couldn't find any content on them, now I create it myself hahahah, ironic isn't it?

Found this little fella (around 2 cm long) on my fence post. I think the head is on the right hand side as this part was moving around.

I did some research and am pretty certain this is the larvae of a Mottled Cup Moth. I thought it was pretty boldly sitting out in the open until I read that it's coloured hairs STING!

The adult is brown and non distinctive, in stark contrast to its larvae.

February 11, 2024 - Mottled Piculet (Picumnus nebulosus) These small woodpeckers are found in and around lowland forests in southeastern Brazil, northeastern Argentina, and Uruguay. Foraging alone or in mixed-species flocks, they probably feed on insect larvae, often hunting on dead bamboo and in dense scrub. They breed from October to December, though no other information has been recorded about their nesting behavior. They are classified as Near Threatened by the IUCN due to habitat loss.

I love when seven of nine fucks up social interactions. I love when she does something weird or off-putting or talks too precisely about something unpleasant. I love that she observes tom and b'elanna like lab mice in order to understand how to touch someone with loving intent. I love that she is sharp and disrespectful to janeway when she is passionate about something and can't contain herself like the real officers. I love that she's best friends with the only child on voyager and she is allowed to be curious and indulgent with her and her alone, a child the same age she was when her personhood was taken away. I love that she's shy about singing. I love that she desires perfection, an unattainable and impossible dream.

I wish she'd been represented as a cybernetic cobbled-together scarred creature that has to integrate with a ship that is also held together by scar tissue and hard work. that her healing was shown on her body and her mind, and that it was hideous and terrible and amazing.
