I shall generously overlook the fact that it is highly irregular for faculty staff to engage in private correspondence with students, and instead I will simply say -- despite your seemingly lacklustre job performance -- you are quite welcome for my continued efforts in keeping you gainfully employed as Hogwart's caretaker.

I cannot imagine that Headmaster Black would approve of how much of your time is spent sat at the opposite side of the bar at The Three Broomsticks, or how often said time coincides with regular work hours.

Furthermore, Iris has been less than reliable lately and though that is out of character, I do not think it translates as missing yet. That said, rest assured that I am making every attempt to track her whereabouts when she is not actively delivering post.

Lastly, whilst the name Peanut is vaguely familiar, I should hardly think that someone else's owl is any of my concern. Unless, that is, you have reason to believe something untoward has happened to both.

In which case, perhaps you ought to strive to live up to your title, caretake, and come back to me with more useful information.
