Im thrilled to share my first large scale exterior mural with you! I was invited to participate with @muralfestival in Montréal and collaborate with @frankandoak Here is my official launch of my mural ´In Harmony’ ´In Harmony’ captures the essence of better living while portraying the mindfulness that results from a sustainable lifestyle. My work explores the idea of finding balance and harmony in life. In this mural, the figures, vines, faces and eyes represent an interconnectivity between nature and an awareness to maintain a sustainable lifestyle. The circular composition keeps the focus on the main character, one that is living an inspiring way of life; connected to self, nature, community and clothes.  I wanted to thank everyone at @muralfestival @frankandoak for making this happen! Especially for @sawr_graffiti for assisting me through it all. Thank you to my agent @purple_rain_illustrators. Special shout out to @olavolo @ghazaraza @michellehoogveld and @daddysucrose for pro tips! And visits from my partner @jorge_camarotti for pics and daily coffee and always my sis @franziska 💕💕💕💕💕 . . . #murals #muralfestivalmontreal #muralfestival2022 #hannabarczyk #frankandoak #art #montreal #publicart (at Montreal, Quebec) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce32TTrLu99/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

"MONO BROW"
by Mono Sourcil
Maxilie Martel, aka Mono Sourcil, is an accomplished practitioner in painting and sculpture as well as performance and installation art, but she told Art Public Montreal she's has found street art and graffiti to be more free and intuitive. Monosourcil uses the often mono browed characters of her caricatures to express her vision of the individual in Western society. Her ideas are sometimes expressed as solitary individuals, and sometimes in large groups of characters, as with the approximately 55 figures making up this composition off of Prince Arthur St in the alley between Clark and St Laurent Blvd, completed in 2017 for @MuralFestival in Montreal.  @monosourcilone/
