I'm sick rn so I tried out making an oc based on @bahnloopi 's Sento Saiyans to distract myself...but it turned into 3 ocs.

They're supposed to be based on the Six-Eared Macaque, so theyre a little sibling trio of tricksters.

Senpa is the eldest and the leader. She likes mixing random liquids together and hoping they do something like turning someone bald.

Mus is the youngest and a gentle giant of sorts. His pranks mostly sort of consist of him making you look at something that isn't there, but he thinks he's just as good as Senpa.

Kalui is the middle sibling and despite how she looks, is the most destructive. An agent of chaos. Her pranks almost always have property damage or medical attention for victims involved.

The old legends say there was something peculiar about them hills. Men who went up in em came back changed. Oh, they was never right in their heads again, no sir, but the main change was physical. The longer they spent up there, the more it took hold. Don’t believe me? I’ve got a photo here of ol’ Mountain Pete. Seems he went up there in 1890 and was fixin’ to stay. No one knows for sure what became of him, but there was a travellin’ photographer what came to town one time, happened to be when Pete was down to get his supplies in for winter, and he took a photo, free of charge. Figured he’d make a fortune selling it to LIFE magazine or somethin’, but he never could find a buyer, so here it sits, in this community museum, collectin’ dust.

Today I learned Basques invented a card game I never heard about, called "Mus"!

Of course! Mus is one of the most popular card games in the whole Spanish state and of course in EH. We could describe it as the Basque poker, because it also needs to bet and to run a bluff sometimes. There's a bid where all the points needed to win a game are bet and the player says hor dago! [there it is! in Basque] and that's presumably because they have a winning hand. Hor dago entered the Spanish language like órdago which means challenge or ultimatum, or even extraordinary in the set phrase "de órdago".

Mus is traditionally played by men - of course women too, but it's not a traditionally femenine game - especially at uni or in taverns after lunch.

White Rot Fungus

Stages of Infection:

Stage 1 (Days 1-7): Fatigue, low-grade fever, muscle aches, altered sense of taste and smell.

Stage 2 (Days 8-14): Fever worsens, cognitive impairment becomes apparent (confusion, memory loss), auditory and visual hallucinations begin. Strange white mold-like spots appear on skin.

Stage 3 (Days 15-21): Immune system crashes, leading to susceptibility to other illnesses. Auditory and visual hallucinations become more vivid and disturbing. White mold spreads over the body. Paranoia and manic episodes occur.

Stage 4 (Days 22-28): Complete psychosis sets in, with violent outbursts. Seizures, paralysis, and uncontrollable vomiting of white liquid. Skin takes on a pale, mold-like texture. Black sores appear on skin.

Stage 5 (Day 28-35): Coma-like state. Mold completely covers body. Blood oozes from eyes, ears, mouth. Still alive but completely unresponsive.

Stage 6 (Death): Vital organs shut down one by one. Cause of death unclear - combination of system failures. Entire body becomes covered in white mold upon death.

It is suspected to be highly contagious, though transmission methods are unknown. No effective treatment exists. Quarantine is recommended but ultimately futile. This disease brings about a painful, psychologically tormenting death over the course of a month.
