I feel a deep sense of anger and grief for Palestine. I’m angry at God, at the world powers donating to those who are killing civilians, angry at people looking away and encouraging you to worry about yourself when people can’t even walk down their streets without being attacked. I’m angry that my friend donated, only for it to be stolen and taken by the soldiers abusing Palestine. I’m angry that I can’t do much of anything but tell you to at least CARE about the people being bombed and slaughtered. Please, if you can’t do anything please just CARE about these people and listen to their stories. Hold them in your hearts at the very least. Don’t pretend they don’t exist or just brush it off as “its been going on for centuries, there’s no point in stopping it.” I want to do more, I want to make people care and love those who need it, rather than continue spreading anger and hate.

These are real people I’ve drawn. Keep the people of Palestine in your heart at the very least please.

not saying the holocaust wasn't bad. but i need people to understand that it wasn't the only genocide that happened in the same period of world history. not because i want you to pay less attention to holocaust but because i need you to ask why it's the only one we ever talk about. it wasn't the longest occured massacre of a marginalized group, it wasn't the most gruesome, it wasn't the one with the most casualties, it wasn't the first and it wasn't the last one. i need people to think about why we didn't pay much attention to all the other holocausts after WWII that happened simultaniously and were just as horrible. it says so much about media, the news we are fed, and that our empathy is BOUGHT by the same people that keep funding genocides all over the world.

Also i think the american dog culture needs a massive reform or whatever because it is why i am so put off by dogs for the most part. so many people have a big stinky smelly creature in their house and they dont train it and allow it to have free reign and like Dogs sweeping the counters and tables and trying to lick your plates and then you witness the owners let them lick their hands and then they dont wash their hands and then they go to make food or eat and youre just watching in horror And then people bring their dogs everywhere and dont even bother with leashes sometimes and then let their dog do whatever and just expect everyone to be okay with that. ALSO a lot of people literally do not pick up their dogs shit so then when you just want to have a beautiful walk outside ur like IT smells bad Or god forbid you almost step in it.

#its my understanding that muslim homes often dont have dogs bc theyre haram or at least dogs arent allowed in the kitchen. that is like #totally reasonable to me and i wish more people would try to keep their kitchen clean in such a way #(im saying this as though our table and counters do not often have cats all over them.
