TALK ABT ★⭑ ——— jotw
next part ->
“and you’re sure you’re not gonna switch up this time?”
miles had been dealing with this for months. you said you wanted a boyfriend, and he agreed to help you. what kind of best friend would he be if he didn’t? he always supported you. always. you had been eyeing this guy for a while now, after switching up 3, 4 times. with a verdict, you had to come over to his house immediately and tell him.
“so, what’s he like? he handsome?” he asked, something about it made his head ache a little bit. he watched as you paced around his room while biting your finger. “this guy got you worked up, huh?”
“like no guy i’ve ever known! he’s just so…” you sighed in delight against his sheets, “everything i’ve ever wanted in someone.”
miles played at the loose string on his sweatpants, “that seems like a lot. so, what’re you gonna do about it?”
“just- ask him out i guess. no use in hiding it for so long now. you think it’ll go well?”
he sighed, flopping next to you and staring towards the ceiling, “i mean, i cant say for certain but like, if it doesn’t go well, i’m here for you. i’m just a little nervous about it.”
“nervous?” you sat up to loom over him in curiosity, he had a bothered look on his face and avoided your gaze, “you’re nervous?”
“you know, the whole boy best friend thing. some boyfriends aren’t a fan of that.” he puffed and looked at you, “i just dont want things to become awkward between us. that’s the last thing i would want.”
you understood that well, but miles had always been overprotective and possessive of you when it came to boys. can you blame him? yes and no. sometimes he would scare them away. but you know you could promise one thing: “it wont, i promise. we’ll still be that annoying, shit-talking duo that the whole school knows about.”
he laughed under his breath, “you’re bad at keeping promises but, i have hope for this one. you swear?”
“i swear.”
“good,” miles sat up with a groan and dragged his backpack to the middle of the mattress and pulled out this binder. “now, let’s finish this homework before my ma complains about my spanish grade.”
“you’re failing spanish again?” you moaned in annoyance.
“its different from puerto rican spanish.”
“you can’t keep using that excuse, she said it’s getting old already” miles rolled his eyes against your remark. that night, you went back and forth about it for around 10 minutes then falling asleep. still getting no work done.

Be My Favorite Ep 12 (Finale) Stray Thoughts
Last week, we saw a potential future in which Pisaeng and Kawi stayed together for years after moving into Pisaeng’s condo. They had a beautiful life together. Kawi worked as some kind of music producer, and they had all of their friends. However, Kawi got sick and Pisaeng wasn’t able to talk to doctors. Now Pisaeng is back to the first night they spent the night as boyfriends before going to the amusement park the next day.
We are so fucking back! We’re unpacking Kawi’s decision not to become a famous entertainer in order to avoid the toxic aspects of fame. He says he’s content to be a songwriter and small-time performer with his band. Pisaeng is worried that foreknowledge is keeping Kawi from pursuing his dreams, and wonders if he’s a burden. This is the first scene!!
I like how Gawin can make his character feel like they’re carrying so much with just his eyes and shoulders.
It felt like Kawi sensed the shift in Pisaeng. Now we are facing each other as two people changing their pasts.
I like that Kawi, who’s seen multiple futures, tells Pisaeng to just focus on living as best they can now.
Feels like they’re having way more fun at the park this time, and even coaxed Kawi onto a few rides.
I like how grown they both feel at the park this time, and I love that it’s Kawi’s turn to be brave for Pisaeng.
Being brave enough to face an uncertain future together is such a lovely theme.
If there’s one thing that’s gonna happen in the future, it’s that Pear is gonna marry some man.
Max looks good as always.
Don’t know who James is, but I hope this worked out for Pear.
Future! Not was invited to the wedding.
I appreciate the pin, but is he really wearing it on his suit at the wedding??
Not is signing books at the wedding??
Magic Uncle saw that the gays made it, nodded once, and instantly dipped. The perfect elder.
I’m so glad I was correct about Kawi maintaining his own time traveling memories.
If Kawi had started playing Push by Matchbox Twenty I would have lost it.
I do like how these two feel now that they’re settled.
Love the tag is these two bickering about the wedding they’re “not” going to have. Beautiful.
Final Verdict: 9, Highly Recommended. I have a few gripes around the way the side characters were used, and the missing conversation of episode 10, but I genuinely liked this show. I think it was one of the kindest and most gentle things I’ve seen from GMMTV in a long time, and it’s allowed me to make peace with any angst or misunderstandings I’ve had about Krist Perawat over the last few years. He can sit with me again. What an absolutely lovely show that asked us to just choose to be kind and live lives we can be proud of. This show is worth the time.

Broken Pieces (George Daniel)
Tumblr media
warning: drinking, being mean to boyfriend, language
note: merry christmas.
⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚:*⋆.*:・゚ .: ⋆*・゚: .⋆
You pulled up to this party at 10 o'clock on the dot courtesy of your friend Violet who provided you a ride. She said she had better places to be than third wheeling with you and George all night. You know the truth is that she doesn't like going to parties where she doesn't know a lot of people, but you figured you'd let her have it just this once.
Your top is comfortable tonight but your jeans are digging into your stomach in a bad way, something to do with your seasonal weight gain, something that always happens post-Thanksgiving and pre-Christmas, but George always assures you that he loves your body no matter what 'format' he gets it in. He always had an odd way with words, but the sentiment remains nonetheless.
The door of Matty and George's apartment is already open when you press on it. The air is about 10 degrees hotter inside than the frosty winter air outside, and it's comforting. It always feels like home.
Gazing around the living room, you see a random guy you've never met before in a large hat with the Grinch's face on it, a tasteful choice for a holiday party. You always wonder who the hell these people are that attend your boyfriend and your boyfriend's boyfriend's parties. Sometimes they just feel like extras in a movie set, but maybe you only feel that way since you never go out of your way to talk to the people you don't know.
And why would you, when you spot Ross and George together in the kitchen, leaning against the counter, drinks in hand. George's hair is a mess and he's wearing his black D.A.R.E. shirt but in your mind, he looks beautiful as always. Of course, you'd never tell him that in public.
You skip over to them, day looking better already. "OMG! Is that my bestie?" You bubbly exclaim, opening your arms to Ross and he returns them with a big hug. He smushes you a little uncomfortably, but it feels nice anyway.
He lets you go, "hey bestie," he speaks lowly. He's become well accustomed to your vocabulary, knowing to call you his 'bestie' rather than 'best friend.' You turn to George.
"Hey bitch." You grab his glass out of his hand, taking a sip, and coughing immediately after swallowing. "That's gross."
"Hi, love, when did you get here?" George ignores your initial rudeness.
"Just now. Scooch over, I wanna get in the sandwich." You're referring to standing in between the two men, being in the 'sandwich' as you call it. They both wordlessly create space between them in which you squeeze into.
"Have you guys seen hat guy?" You ask.
"Who?" Ross returns.
"Guy with the Grinch hat?"
"No. Wish I had though. Sounds cool," George looks down at you as he speaks. You decide to take advantage of this opportunity and grab him by the back of the neck, pulling him into a hard kiss that he gladly gives back, smiling into it. Ross makes a retching noise to your right.
"Y/N, wait, I need you to settle an argument. A girl argument," Ross interjects.
"What's a girl argument?"
George sighs in annoyance, "an argument that we, as men, cannot come to a verdict on without the input of a woman. It's stupid, Ross, I told you we don't need to ask a girl about this."
"No, we do. You're stupid. Okay, so. When women are, like, breastfeeding, does the milk come from the center of the nipple or from the whole area?"
"Like a shower head type deal," George adds, forgetting that he's against this argument.
"Yeah like a shower head. Because I say nipple but George says shower head. So what's the truth?" The look on his face is so sincere that you're certain he's completely serious. You glance at George, a similar expression. A prime opportunity to fuck with them.
"It actually comes out of the pores on the boob. Like you know how you have pores on your face? So it's a different type of skin on your boobs and the milk comes from under the skin and through the pores. That's why they sell those tit pore strips to clear out all the crap gets stuck in there so the milk comes out. You ever seen those before?"
"No, I haven't," Ross is astounded.
"Really? That's crazy, I would have never guessed," George nods his head as he speaks like he's really coming to terms with this false truth.
"No, not really, I'm fucking with you. I don't know how it comes out, why would I know? I've never breastfed before."
"Fuck off," Ross rolls his eyes, upset that you really had him going for a moment.
You cackle, happy to mess with them, then turn to George. “George? Sweet baby? Love of my life?”
He groans, shutting his eyes, “yes?”
“Will you go get me a drink and in return I’ll love you forever?”
Sighing, “I’ll be back,” and he leaves a parting kiss on the top of your head.
“Where’s my kiss?” Ross exclaims to the back of George’s head as he walks away, flipping him off as he goes.
“Ugh. Thought he’d never leave. That fucking’ guy, am I right?” You playfully joke to Ross.
“Yeah, what a loser,” Ross adds in, very best friend of him.
“Okay, Ross, what do I get him for Christmas?”
“I’m getting him a lighter with his name on it. Is that too gay?” He asks in full seriousness.
“The lighter or the name?”
“Both.”
“I think it would only be gay if it had your name on it. You’re fine. But that doesn’t answer my question.”
“I thought it did. Don’t get him a lighter.”
“Again, not an answer to my question. If I don’t get him a lighter, what do I get him?”
“Get him a super sick Grinch hat,” he points at Grinch hat guy who is now walking by.
“He’d never wear that shit.”
“It’d be funny though.”
“But for once, I don’t want funny, I want sentimental. Something that shows I love him, since I’m so bad at doing that otherwise.”
“Sex coupons?”
“What are sex coupons?”
He looks you dead in the eye, “let’s put on our thinking caps, use our context clues, why don’t we?”
“Okay, fine, I’m not gonna do that, anyway. It’s lame. And cheap. I may be broke and uncreative but not to that extent. I have dignity.”
He raises his eyebrows. “Do you?”
“Shut up.”
“Here’s your drink, love. ‘S just a soda since we don’t have what you like here,” George suddenly returns with a cup of Sprite in his hand.
“See, even he knows what I like. How am I supposed to compete with that?” You throw your hands up in surrender.
“He’s a little slow. It won’t even matter what you give him, even if it doesn’t mean anything, he’ll love it,” Ross tells you.
“I’m right here,” George takes a sip of your Sprite, eyes bouncing between the two of you in confusion.
“But I need to be a better girlfriend, none of this lame shit. That was just practice, this is the first game of the season.”
“Then just suck his dick and call it a day!” Ross returns your energy.
“Hello?” George asks again.
You turn to him, “hi. Thanks for the drink. Sprite?”
“Yeah, poured it out of a can and everything. Feeling like Gordon Ramsey right now.”
Chuckling, you take the drink out of his hand and sip at it. He comes to stand on the other side of you, completing the sandwich once more. “And for the record, I think you’re an amazing girlfriend.”
“You would say that.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It means you’re so nice to me, all the time. Don’t I ever piss you off? Push your buttons just a little too much. Don’t you ever want to go off on me?”
“Of course not, you know I’m not like that.”
You sigh, “yeah, I know.” You pause, then continue, “so, what do you want for Christmas?” You rest your head on the side of his arm (would have been his shoulder if you were taller but it’s like, literally whatever).
“I’d be happy with just a day with you. I don’t need anything fancy, some heartfelt shit. Just some quality time.”
“Really? That’s it?”
“I feel like you want me to give you something more material so you can just buy it. Is that what you want?”
“Yes, please.”
“Okay, if you want to get me something I’ll like, get me some cologne. Something you think smells good. Promise I’ll wear it.”
You hold out your pinky to him. He hooks his with yours, giving a brief shake, then holding onto your hand with both of his. “You look tired already baby. Do you want to lay down?”
“First of all, that’s rude to say. Second of all, you’re right and I hate it. Stop reading me so well.
“So, yes?”
“Yeah…” He nods, happily grabbing your hand and leading you to his room which he had locked for the sake of the party. You turn back and wave goodbye to Ross; you’ll probably fall asleep and see him next tomorrow.
George holds the door open for you and guides you inside. He even pulls back the comforter for you to slip under. Once you do, he cheesily tucks you in, kissing your forehead. “Anything I can do for you, my dear?”
You shake your head no, already feeling too pampered and spoiled for one night.
“Alright,” he kisses your forehead and stands from his kneeled position, dusting his hands off on his pant legs. “I’ll leave you be now. I love you.”
“I love you too.” You still have no idea what cologne to get him, but at least it’s a start. How hard could sex coupons be to make, anyway?”

10 Things I Love About 3 Will Be Free
I am very late on this one, I know it! But this week I finally sat down with @wen-kexing-apologist and binged the whole thing, and had a grand ol’ time doing it. @waitmyturtles the verdict is two enthusiastic thumbs up. This was such a fun romp, and here are a few of the things I loved most about it:
SHIN MY BELOVED
Tumblr media
Guess who has a new blorbo!! In hindsight it is absolutely absurd that it took a Tay Tawan girlie like me so long to watch this show, because Shin is an instant entry on the all-time fav characters list. I love his sad gay ass. He’s sensitive, he’s lonely, he’s repressed, he’s far too susceptible to Stockholm syndrome, and I would protect him with my life.
Mae
Tumblr media
A working class trans character with an actual plot?! Thank you for your endless gifts, P’Jojo. Sure, my girl Mae made some questionable choices (just a little light murder!), but listen, I support her, in the words of @wen-kexing-apologist, embracing her feminine rage. And in the end, she figured out exactly the right target for her rage and lived her best life.
Miw
Tumblr media
A Survivor. Gets shit done. Absolutely will kill a man if he forces her hand. Loyal to her boyfriends even when it would probably be smarter to ditch them. Also, she so pretty.
Neo’s tanks and crop tops
Tumblr media
I never claimed not to be shallow.
Neo and Shin’s backstory
Tumblr media
Episode 5 was my favorite of the show and the moment it really clicked for me. I loved getting a glimpse of Shin’s lonely and dejected teen years (I just wanna talk, Ken 🔪🔪🔪). I loved that the basis of Neo and Shin’s relationship and initial attraction was the way they played together. Shin laughed more in his few days with Neo than he probably had in the several years preceding them. I loved that Neo gave him his first kiss and that Shin treasured those memories so dearly.
The Worst Criminals Of All Time
Tumblr media
Truly remarkable these three are still alive by the end of the show. Their ideas were half-baked and their execution was severely lacking. They never had a plan they thought all the way through and they never had a single scheme that went off without a hitch. Luckily, the bad guys chasing them were also thoroughly incompetent, so it all evened out. The only smart person in this show was Miw’s mom, who knew the only prudent move was to stay the hell out of this mess.
Miw and Shin’s friendship
Tumblr media
I just love that these two developed their own bond, even though they’re not into each other the same way they’re both into Neo. They both risked their lives to save the other. They tease and joke with each other. Shin literally wanted to bring his new bestie home to live with him. They’re adorable.
This weird little guy
Tumblr media
Toptap. My guy. What are you doing here and why are you being so strange? Are you good, are you bad, are you chaotic neutral? Who can tell! Certainly not me. But I enjoyed every moment your weird ass was on the screen.
There's a polyamorous relationship, and it’s depicted onscreen!
Tumblr media
Okay, here’s the part where I admit my expectations for the poly romance in this show were a liiiiiiilttle off base. I must gently rib the fandom for leading me to believe this show would have any actual sex in it (or really a focus on romance at all) and once again recite to myself a universal truth: gifs removed from context are so misleading. At the same time, I also must acknowledge how groundbreaking it was at the time to depict polyamory at all. I would have loved a bit more time spent on the actual relationship dynamics and the emotional complexities of this triad they formed, but I recognize that’s not really what this show was about and appreciate they included a polycule in the first place. Now that it’s 2023 and he’s been give a lot more freedom, I look forward to Jojo’s further exploration of sexy polycules in Only Friends.
Against all odds, these crazy kids got their happy ending
Tumblr media
When this show started I did not see any way for them to come out of this in good shape. I was going to be happy if they simply survived. But not only did they survive, they are thriving! Shin has inherited his dad’s legitimate business and discovered he looks hot in a deep V. Neo and Miw are living that beach life they deserve. Everyone loves each other and everyone is at peace. A+, 10/10, would watch again.

writing patterns
rules: list the first line of your last 10 (posted) fics and see if there's a pattern
thank you for the tag @doggernaut! 🩵 eight of my ten most recent fics have been written in the last three weeks for efickegster, so i'm interested to see where the similarities lie (she says, knowing damn well where the similarities lie)
put me back in it (3/8/24) Bitty gets kidnapped at eight.
excuse me (i love you) (3/6/24) As a rule, Kent does not believe in miracles.
still a planet (3/5/24) Bitty's least favorite dream opens like this.
can't unmiss you (2/29/24) Tater’s letting some girl he doesn’t know shoot tequila out of his belly button when he gets the text.
terms or conditions (2/27/24) Dex is thinking about why fancy restaurants invest in stupid shit when Nursey says, "Poindexter, I don't think this is working."
always, forever (2/26/24) Hot morning sun on his shoulders, a big, hot hand on the small of his back, and Bitty has no clue where he is.
imperfections (2/25/24) Half awake, the first thing out of Bitty's mouth is, "We have gotta stop meeting like this."
if it's on, i'm on (2/24/24) Halfway through December, with the night becoming morning and the tub juice lighting him on fire, Oliver O'Meara thinks he's having a pretty good freshman year.
see your body bare (2/14/24) It's a dirty hit.
advent (11/23/23) After almost fifty years, Jack knows how to be famous.
the verdict: apparently i am clinically unable to write a first line of substantial length! i sort of knew i trended this way, but it's really interesting to see them all lined up next to each other and realize they are shorter than bitty 🤷‍♀️ this is also funny because as y’all might be aware i’m also clinically unable to write a short line anywhere else in a fic. this post sponsored by the comma splice and em dash gang.
tagging the homies @mkaugust @cricketnationrise both of whose first lines and writing styles inspire me on the reg and @ohyoufool a second time cause mwah. no pressure darlings. anyone else who wants to play - please feel free to say i tagged you! i’d love a refresher on folks’ recent work! 🩵
if you're curious, like i was, whether or not the density of the writing schedule had an effect on the patterns of these fics' first lines, my older fics are included below the cut!
creation myth (11/5/23) It goes like this.
light the lamp (10/4/23) "Daddy?"
take charge (9/14/23) Bitty is a lot of things these days: a boyfriend, a captain, and (as of three weeks ago) officially a second-semester senior.
like branches in a storm (9/28/21) Nursey wakes up on the morning of graduation with the distinct and uncomfortable feeling that somebody's glued him to the mattress.
t'étais réel parce qu'il t'aimait (7/20/21) “Has her fever gone down?”
drink deeply (6/25/21) Good evening, everyone!
sweet creature (5/9/21) Marriage is a funny thing sometimes, Alicia thinks.

Micro (or not) BL Reviews
It's that time again. Seeing as how a couple of things have ended recently and I let my obsession with a certain drama sort of take over everything else of late, I dedicated this week to catching up on all the things I've been missing and doing a quick round up (or not so quick, as it's me).
So let's get started, shall we?
Recently Completed
Stay By My Side - Oh Taiwan. I just love you. I think we had like eighteen "fall into you" moments in the first three episodes alone. The premise was fun - it reminded me a lot of Master's Sun, but the execution of course is totally different. The leads were cute. The chemistry was chemistrying. I loved the sister and that basketball boys. It was mostly fluff, which I am not complaining about because I love me some fluff. That said, I don't think it did anything particularly revolutionary and it never really did manage to grab me.  7.5/10
Wedding Plan - A MAME offering, but…not bad? I mean, not great either, although I will put up with a lot for the premise because I eat shit like that up, but I've seen way worse from MAME. However, it's not going to become a guilty pleasure show like LITA or an unexpected comfort show despite myself (at least the AePete parts) like Love by Chance. It was fine.
Things I really did like:  Nuea's family and his workmates (I loved how fiercely both sets of people stood by and supported him through everything from his huge mistake in sleeping with the groom to running back home to deal with it to basically adopting Lom into the group when they worked it out ("we have a new brother in law"). The lesbians - I could have used a bit more heat but I'll take it for now. Let's work on normalizing GL in our BL (frankly I'd love it if we started doing more of that and less of the token straight couple or three)! Was a little annoyed by how they had to fix everything but I won't pretend that the bits with them in episode 6 didn't get to me - I may have teared up a little when Marine was being treated so horribly by Yiwa's mother - that whole thing was so upsetting on a number of levels. And I was happy for them that they could afford to run away to their own happy ending. Also the gag of Lom pretending to be devastated when he was anything but was kinda funny, I will give the show that. And I did like the way that Lom's mom came around - realizing with time that losing her son the same way Yiwa's mother lost her could be a very real result if she kept being rigid. I also liked that she didn't just suddenly become a PFLAG member (or whatever the equivalent would be here) but simply told her son that she would work on it, because that felt more realistic.
The show also got me with how fucking lonely it must have been for both Lom and Yiwa, to know that they were gay and that they could never say anything, and how overwhelming and relieving it must have been to find someone who understood in each other. No fucking wonder they'd do anything for each other. I would have too, if I'd had someone like that growing up.
So yeah. It was fine. I mostly had a good time, even if I got a little bored once or twice. Frankly when it comes to MAME, being a little bored is preferable to feeling like the top of my head is about to come off because I'm so annoyed. Final verdict 7/10
Jun & Jun - Korea keeps making office BLs and I will continue watching them until the end of time. Especially if they keep on serving good kiss while they do it. And this one had bonus scent kink! I honestly don't know what's gotten into Korea lately but I am very much here for it.
This was a fun little office BL.  I liked how flirty it was from the get go, the way that both Juns danced around each other with the full knowledge that they were flirting. The intern group was fun, too. I really enjoyed the boyfriend episode at the end.
Everyone was very cute in this, but Simeon was my utter favorite. He totally stole the show for me. Him and Young. Young especially was a surprise, since she drove me bonkers when she first showed up. But she grew on me. I liked how fast she decided to embrace Lee Jun, and her and Choi Jun's friendship was cute.
I shipped Simeon and Hyung Hyun Jae too. Hard.
All in all this was cute, even if it didn’t manage to grip me as hard as I hoped. Like I said before, I'm not sure what's gotten into Korea lately but I hope it continues. 8/10.
Laws of Attraction - When I first saw the trailer for this, I decided to skip it. The leads were attractive enough but to be honest it seemed kinda poorly made and like it didn't know what it was going to do with itself. And I was feeling surly and judgmental and decided that it just wasn't for me. Also it was on iQIYI and I had no interest in signing up for another subscription.
But then I saw someone had stuck it on youtube and I was bored one Saturday an there were a few eps already out, so I thought, eh, why not?
And I've not regretted it for a moment.  I loved this show so much my god. Even when OF started (and you all know how much I obsess about OF) this was still the thing I looked forward to most on Saturdays. I adored Charn and his shark smile from moment one, and that adoration did not cease throughout the entirety of the show's run. His character development was by far the best on the show, and I loved the slow, stumbling way he regained the person he used to be, while still keeping the ruthlessness of the man he allowed anger and bitterness to let him become (up to a point). I loved that the show began and ended with his shark smile, but for very different reasons. And he and Tinn were adorable.
I appreciated them banging the marriage equality drum, too, and especially Charn's very pragmatic reasons for wanting it to be legal (as a lawyer, he would think like that, and I appreciate that the show kept him in character even when he was sappy). I also loved his wedding jacket I want four.
I also loved Tinn, and I have to give credit to Jam for the way he portrayed him. While Film totally ate as Charn I do think that in some ways a character like Tinn is harder to portray, because it would be very very easy for him to become preachy because of his morality and rigid sense of justice. But Jam played him with enough nuance that he never slid into that for me - he was willing to occasionally be at least slightly underhanded when the situation called for it, and while he expected Charn to be better (and read him to filth when he caught him out lying to and manipulating him), he thankfully also seemed to understand the fine art of compromise. Plus he's really pretty. Both of them are really pretty.
But the thing that I never expected was just how hard I turned around on Thaenthai. He drove me absolutely bonkers for the first few eps, and I was loudly annoyed by the fact that after about ep three (if not sooner), it became clear that he was not the one who had hit Tonkhao but that he was being made to take the blame. It felt to me like the show wanted me to excuse how vile he was (acting like Tonkhao's death was nothing, beating the crap out of Tinn when he was already tied up and helpless, just generally acting like a spoiled, entitled, horrible shitstain of a human being) because his father beat him. And while that was horrifying and I wanted him to get the hell out of there as soon as possible I still felt that a worm is a worm is a worm, even if the worm's father happens to be worse.
But then the show went and did something I did not expect it to do: it didn't just tell us that Thaenthai was lashing out because he was caught in a desperate limbo of wanting to run away from his and wanting to please him, but it went and did the work to show it. I started turning around on him after he found out about the gardener his father used as a scapegoat once things started getting heated, because we finally got to catch him before he had time to put on his mask. And it just kept coming, because now we knew what to look for. He's still an ass for beating the shit out of Tinn when he was tied up though, lol.
Another thing I really loved that this sow did with him was show him loving his dad in spite of everything. This man beat him, nearly drowned him, let him take the blame for a murder he did, tried to kill the only person Thaenthai felt was really on his side (because I do think that the intent was always to kill Thee - I'm just not entirely sure why it didn't happen as soon as Thaenthai got on that plane. I guess because we needed a happier ending. I am not complaining), and told him to his face that he could never love him because he killed his mother, and yet Thaenthai still loved him, still wanted his attention and his respect and his love in return. And it just rang very painfully true to me. You don't stop loving your parents because they're shit, and humans for some reason tend to be wired to try harder for love that is hard to receive (or impossible, in this case).  It did not surprise me that Thaentha tried to visit his father in prison, or that he was sad when he died. But neither did it surprise me that something in him seemed looser in those scenes as well, because even though he loved his dad there's a part of him that's glad he's gone.
I love stuff like this, because it's so complicated and realistic and it hurts in a way that only something that resonates with reality can. I ate it up.
Shout out as well to Not Vorarit, because he really did a good job with Thatthep. The way he slowly unraveled as the show went on was pitch perfect, every little nuance from his first intro as the shady but possibly not *that* shady "concerned" parent right up until that last scene with Charn where he's just a cackling monster. Kudos, you created an excellently detestable character. Watching him get his comeuppance was certainly a highlight of the show for me.
I was also really into the way that Tonkhao was very much a main character despite the fact that she died so early. One of the best strengths of this show was the way that it never let us forget what started this whole thing, it showed Tinn and Grandma grieving for their little girl, talking about her, missing her. Being reminded of her around every corner. They kept her in the forefront of our minds exactly the way that they should have, and I was delighted by it.
Other fun notables are himbo ex Nawin and Rose and Maya, our GL couple that I wish had gotten a little more screen time *as* a couple but either way were fabulous. I will love this show forever for introducing Nawin in the final hour and making him such a great combination of ridiculous and ruthless. And the way they let him breathe as a character - they really just stood back and were like "look at this ridiculous man stealing the show" and it was amazing. And Rose was just - she was such a good friend to Charn the whole way through, and both her and Maya's utter delight for him when he found Tinn (and them welcoming not only him but grandma into their little family so readily) warmed my cynical heart. And I will watch Sylvie Pavida in pretty much anything, I think.
All this raving and yet I still have to go with a final score of 9/10. I recommend this show, it's way better than I thought it would be, but there are some questionable choices made, the CGI and the fight scenes are laughable (the fire at Charn's office made me laugh so hard I had to pause), and they pulled out a guitar and sang not once, but twice. And they don't even have the excuse that one of them is supposed to be a singer. Also frankly nowadays every Thai show I watch I have to ask myself "did I enjoy this more than Moonlight Chicken?" which I only gave a 9.5, and for this one, the answer was no. So 9 it is, but a highly recommended 9. This was so much fun and it will be very missed on Saturdays.
Currently Watching
Be Mine Superstar - I really do  not get why they have decided to give the doom eleventh episode to this drama. It makes such little sense from this couple, who are the least dramatic pairing possible. They should have just left the angst to Muang and the doc.
Speaking of which, I have been disappointed with that storyline. I feel like we went from nothing to boyfriends with no real development, and now that they're not boyfriends again we're supposed to care, and I just don't.
Also Title is really out here doing the most. My dude, can't you just bow the fuck out gracefully? Blergh him and the manger stuff is still really annoying. Kevin was a delight though. Even though that's one too many dudes thirsty for Ashi for my personal taste (although he is very pretty so I totally get it).
Hidden Agenda - I actually kind of loved how ridiculous the conflict between Joke and Zo wound up being. Oh sure, Pat helping Joke along was a betrayal of trust or whatever, but it just felt perfect for the kind of drama this is. I get the idea that it felt like a betrayal of trust, but I also don't really get how it was too much different from what Zo was trying to do with Nita. Whatever, I love my low stakes drama on Sundays, keep it coming Hidden Agenda.
Kiseki: Dear to Me - This show is doing what I wanted from Only Friends and giving me all the cameos. The way I yelled when I saw the two from history: make Our Days Count. I think my favorite is Ai Di - poor little ball of adoration and pettiness and jealousy. I adore him. Oh, and that scene in the spa was great - I loved how everyone was looking at everyone else while the episode's guest stars (HI, Be Loved in House I Do guys! Good to see you) side eyed the lot of 'em. Me too, my friends. Me too. They're all messy and in love with everyone else and I am here for this weird quadrangle.
The main couple has less of a chokehold on me, but I like our uptight, traumatized doctor to be. And okay, yes, it got me with his unwilling return to a solitary life after Ze Rui disappeared on him. My guess is we're gonna speed run to the imprisonment and amnesia in the synopsis, and I'm good with that. I hope the cameos continue, but even if they don't I'm really enjoying this.
Taikan Yoho / My Personal Weatherman - I saw this called live action yaoi and at first didn’t really believe it, but no. No, it really is. And I am *here* for it. I can't say it's my favorite thing airing right now but I'm enjoying it.
The Jungle - (not a BL, so I'm cheating here, ah well) I don't know who thought that what we needed was four entire episodes of Pine's manpain, but they were very wrong. At least for my money. On the bright side, August is gorgeous and Pat is killing it. The series has been uneven for me and I'm a little annoyed they apparently want to wrap up Pine's BS, Nathee and Florence, *and* address Hunter's backstory in just two eps. But eh, whatever, I was only ever really watching for the women and Mix and thankfully Hack and Irin gave me all the mess that was promised (and not really delivered on, unfortunately. Not that I wanted a bunch of assholes womanizing, but aside from freaking Pine everyone's stories wrapped up in a couple of episodes of mostly no mess at all).
Looking Forward To
23.5 - Come on GMMTV get this thing out already I want it. I have been patient but come oooooon. I had three highly anticipated dramas for this line up and this is the only one that hasn't been released yet and I want it. Gimme my GL.
Absolute Zero (Sep 27, iQiYI)- this is gonna hurt but at least I know it going in?
The Box (Sep 22, not sure about where) - Not a BL, but looks like a good time. Plus I'm interested to see Prem in a thriller - I think he'll do well.
I am also wondering what will replace the Monday/Tuesday hole The Jungle will leave when it stops airing or if they plan to do reruns.
And apparently we're getting the GMMTV 2024 lineup in Oct this year, which seems really early but maybe I'm wrong. I didn’t actually pay attention to the 2023 lineup until way after it came out so I can’t be trusted. *whispers* please let Midnight Museum have a season two, please let Midnight Museum have a season two.

Jen Tortures Herself With Every Dreamworks Animated Movie Ever: Bee Movie
Tumblr media
According to all known laws of aviation... eh, forget it. You know the rest.
So uh... Bee Movie is surprisingly pretty good? Yeah, I know, I'm surprised too. I mean of course, Bee Movie is an Iconic Staple of Meme Culture and for good reason, its humor is just... probably some of the most insane shit out of Dreakworks ever (more on that in a bit). But it's also a pretty compelling roller coaster ride of a movie that held my rapt interest the whole way through???
Tumblr media
So what's the story here? Barry B Benson is a bee who ventures outside the hive and meets a florist named Vanessa, whom he of course falls in love with (and she falls for him too, its fuckin weird man). Eventually, Barry discovers that humans make a profit off the backs of bees by selling their honey, so he decides to sue the entire human race. Yeah that's really the fuckin plot they came up with. It's fucking wild, man, from start to end.
Tumblr media
Our characters here are just as wild to match that crazy ass plot. Barry is a snarky lil fella, but you can tell he cares about his... people? Bees? Idk man this movie has short circuited my brain. Anyway, Barry is a fun character to follow as our main. Vanessa is a little less developed and kind of all over the place personality wise, and well... she falls for a bee. Enough said. Barry's best friend Adam is cool, almost dies from stinging a guy, so that's fun. We also have Ken, Vanessa's ex-boyfriend who literally gets cuckolded by a bee this movie is actually insane.
Tumblr media
The comedy here is just... ridiculous. Again, there's a reason why this movie has produced so many iconic memes. I cackled out loud at some of these jokes and references, many of which I imagine would probably go over a kid's head (the Sting and Ray Liotta jokes especially like... c'mon those are some deep cuts). It's kind of breaking the recent trend I've been noticing from Dreamworks where they're aiming down for a younger audience. Instead, Bee Movie harkens back to their earlier movies, aimed more at adults with blink and you miss them naughty jokes that are actually really funny here?
Tumblr media
The animation is also like... insanely impressive for the time this came out? Some of the camera angles and movement on these bees is just... amazing? The flying scenes really make you feel like you're flying along with Barry, taking you through densely colorful and sometimes actually beautiful setpieces. I also enjoyed the worldbuilding inside of the hive and all of the little devices they use to produce honey. I feel like this movie is doing what Antz was trying to do, but accomplishing it so much better, with way less Rancid vibes than Antz had.
The music is also fairly solid, not as many pop songs as you'd expect from a memey movie like this, but the ones that are very are pretty good and backed by a competent score. I think my biggest gripe with this film is... well, it's a little all over the place and out of focus? Like one minute it's about Barry struggling to figure out what he wants to do with his relatively short life, then its about him falling for Vanessa, then its about suing the humans, then its about restarting pollenation so the entire planet won't shrivel up and die? (yeah did I mention this film has an environmental message?) Really, this movie is kind of just... a jack of all trades and a master of none? All of its various plots are ok, but none of them are standout fantastic. It's just... a little messy??
Tumblr media
But really, I did enjoy myself watching this movie. I didn't think I was going to, because its been years since I've seen it and well, the internet rags on it all the time, but it's surprisingly well-made! It really is Dreamworks at their most Dreamworks (warts and all) and I think that's a testament to why its so memorable (in both good and bad ways lol). Anyway I just got one last thing to say before wrapping up this review:
Ya like jazz?
Overall Rating: 7/10
Verdict: Watch the Entire Bee Movie but every time they say literally anything the movie starts over until you die

After returning from the war in Ukraine, many Russian soldiers are invited to speak about their experiences at schools and patriotic events for children. Among them is Nikita Semyanov, a 35-year-old from Novosibirsk, who was recruited to fight in the war while serving a nine-year prison sentence for murder. Multiple women have also accused Semyanov sexually abusing minors and of physical assault. Nevertheless, he’s continued to make appearances at various patriotic gatherings for children since his return from the front in February 2024. The independent outlet Holod dug into Semyanov’s past and learned why local groups organizing the events are still turning a blind eye to the allegations against him. Meduza shares an abridged version in English.
In February 2024, Novosibirsk’s Garin-Mikhailovsky Library posted about a recent recitation competition for schoolchildren called “Dedicated to the Defenders of the Fatherland.” Among the judges evaluating the children’s performance of patriotic poems was Nikita Semyanov, a veteran of the war in Ukraine. The post refers to him as a “special military operation” participant and reconnaissance group commander.
Shortly after, Semyanov visited a local school and spoke with the children there. Heroes of Russia – Novosibirsk, the local chapter of Russia’s Association of Heroes, published photos from the meeting on social media. The next day, Semyanov’s ex-wife, Polina, wrote a post revealing that Semyanov had killed her father.
Nikita Semyanov strangled his father-in-law in April 2021, after the two got into an argument. Alexander Makarenko was listed as missing for over a month. His body was found in May, and police quickly closed in on Semyanov and arrested him. Semyanov confessed to the murder, saying that the pair had started arguing while working together in the garage. As Makarenko was leaving, Semyanov grabbed him by the neck, put a plastic bag over his head, and strangled him with a wire. He then loaded the body into a car, took it to a plot of land he owned, and buried it in a pit.
In May 2022, a court found Semyanov guilty of murder and sentenced him to nine years in a strict regime prison colony. However, a few months after the verdict, he volunteered to fight in the war. After Semyanov was wounded, he returned to Novosibirsk a free man.
‘A sexual predator’
In early March, an acquaintance of Semyanov’s named Ulyana published a thread on X (formerly Twitter) in which she called him a pedophile and a murderer. “Now this animal is going around schools and blowing up smoke up your children’s asses,” she wrote.
According to her, Semyanov used to teach guitar to teenagers, and he coerced some of his students, girls aged 12–15, into having sex with him. Semyanov’s ex-wife Polina, seven years his junior, was also a minor when the two first got involved. “I met Nikita when I was 10,” she told Holod. “He worked at my school. We slept together when I was 13, and I moved in with him at 15. I gave birth at 17, and then when I was 18, we divorced.”
Ulyana said Semyanov tried to coerce her into having sex with him when she was around 14, and then again, about a year later:
On my boyfriend’s birthday, I ended up at his place again. There were a lot of us, my friends were there and in general, everyone was having fun. When my drunk boyfriend passed out, Nikita called me outside to talk. There, he shoved me into the dog kennel and started threatening me: either I give him a blowjob, or he’d strangle me and bury me, and no one would ever find me since the house was his. I was depressed, and I told him just to kill me. He got angry and dragged Polina over, made her suck him off in front of me.
Semyanov taught guitar at a local school in the 2010s, Ulyana told Holod. According to her, he’d let underage female students come stay with him if they’d gotten into fights with their parents:
I heard him say there’s a price for this, and if you weren’t willing to pay, you could pack up your things and get out. They didn’t complain about it, or maybe he hushed them up. In general, at that time, a lot of awful things were just a normal part of reality. He himself always said that his parents would help and cover for him and that he wouldn’t suffer any consequences.
Semyanov’s ex-wife Polina told Holod that while she was living with him, he constantly humiliated her, sexually assaulted her, and beat her: once he even broke her nose. She claimed that after the divorce, he used threats to force her to relinquish her parental rights in court. “I ran away from him with almost nothing,” she said. “I left everything. I had nowhere to go. I was afraid of being judged by my parents and afraid for myself. He made it very clear that I couldn’t see my child, and that if I tried to, he’d ruin my life.”
After the divorce, Polina went to prison on drug possession charges. Friends say that her daughter currently lives with Semyanov’s parents and that he likely sees her. Semyanov later remarried, and then again divorced. A family friend, Oksana (name changed), said that he regularly drank in front of the children and brutally beat his second wife, Irina (name changed). According to Semyanov’s acquaintances, he would make violent statements about his ex-wife Polina, saying she should be “chained in the basement and left to die there.”
“He’d scold his daughter, yell at her, and hit her,” Oksana added. “He justified it by saying her looks reminded him of his ex-wife, Polina. That she was just as nasty and vile and therefore deserved to be beaten and screamed at.” Oksana also told Holod that Irina found child pornography on Semyanov’s computer, which he later claimed to have deleted.
‘An exemplary father’
Not everyone believes that Nikita Semyanov killed his father-in-law and raped underage girls. Under posts accusing him of crimes, people started leaving comments in his defense. “Who’s writing this? Information has to be verified; you can’t just write a post based on what one person said. He’s an exemplary father, raised his daughter on his own. You can see how much she loves her dad. And as for what happened, you have to know the family’s situation and all the details,” wrote a user named Vera Osipova.
Osipova told Holod that her child was in some classes with Semyanov’s daughter. She described him as a “good father” and a “positive and friendly young man.”
The Association of Heroes, which organized Semyanov’s school appearance, told Holod that it doesn’t do its own background checks on members of the Russian military:
The Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation sends us the soldiers’ contact information. […] As for the horrors and accusations, apparently there is some tragic family history that the Association of Heroes has nothing to do with. We organize meetings with lots of soldiers.
Holod was unable to get in touch with Nikita Semyanov. He told Novosibirsk journalists that he wasn’t going to comment on the situation and that he didn’t recommend publishing anything on him. He blamed his ex-wife Polina for allegedly “abandoning a five-month-old child and disappearing for 10 years.” The Association of Heroes confirmed that Semyanov refuses to talk to the press. A representative there told local journalists that he is an active volunteer in patriotic organizations and, therefore, “from a moral standpoint, everything is fine.”

Writing Patterns
tagged by @jesuisici33. Thank you.
Rules: list the first line of your last 10 (posted) fics and see if there’s a pattern!
Once Upon a Bus The house is its usual brand of early morning chaos when he opens the door.
Think it over, think it under She's in the middle of texting Rafe that she's stopping by Carlos's to see if there’s any chance he hasn’t already had dinner when the door opens.
The Knave of Hearts . . . brought back the tarts It starts so innocuously that it’s hard to pinpoint, even in hindsight.
square root of sixty nine He's already in bed when his phone buzzes, and his heart gives a traitorous jump when he sees TK's name.
We were in screaming color His mother calls as he’s sitting in the parking lot of the shelter, trying to work up the nerve to go in - to talk to Michelle, to talk to Iris, to apologize for all the ways he’s been a terrible friend, a terrible husband.
The Knave of Hearts . . . he said he’d steal no more "Do you know where Tyler was the night of the 10th?"
The Knave of Hearts, he stole the tarts The first time he meets TK he’s just a guy in a bar with a great smile and an even better ass.
The hearts knows a hundred thousand ways to speak Nancy marches into the kitchen at the station and points a finger at him.  “What did you do to Carlos?”
You have to keep breaking your heart until it opens He's 14, nearly 15, and Matthew is his first real boyfriend.
Sex is an emotion in motion Admittedly running into Grace at brunch had not been part of the plan when they'd left the loft, but there's not much Carlos can do about it now, so he's just going to roll with it.
Verdict?  I think I like starting stories by dropping readers into the middle of something happening and then backtracking to how they got there. Also, generally speaking, shorter sentences than I expected.
Definitely true for Knave 4 which has one of my favorite cold opens I’ve ever written.

Post 815
Aaron Ehlinger, Idaho inmate 144241, born 1982, incarceration intake in 2022 at age 40, parole eligible 04/14/2030, with full release on 04/13/2042
Rape
Former state lawmaker Aaron von Ehlinger was found guilty of raping a legislative intern in April 2022; but before that verdict, the State of Idaho had pardoned him on a list of previous convictions.
Between 1996 and 2013, von Ehlinger was charged with 15 offenses on eight occasions. He pleaded guilty five times. But just 56 days before he was accused, and eventually convicted, of raping a legislative intern, von Ehlinger was pardoned by the State of Idaho for the previous convictions.
Von Ehlinger’s first run-in with the law came in 1996. He was 14 years old when he was charged with driving without a license and driving an unregistered vehicle. A year-and-a-half later, he would be convicted of speeding – all misdemeanors.
In the summer of 2000, when he was 18, von Ehlinger left his Clearwater County home and enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he remained for three years, eventually receiving an honorable discharge as a corporal. He would later say that his time in the military was “thankless,” adding, “sometimes guys have some issues that they need to deal with and that was the case for me.”
He also called the conflict in Afghanistan the “ultimate betrayal.”
After returning home to north central Idaho, von Ehlinger had a string of arrests and/or convictions between 2009 and 2013. He would later tell the state parole board that his time in the Army was a “sad” time and that he was “haunted by aspects of my military service.”
Through those five years, von Ehglinger would be charged with 12 different offenses, including drunk driving, dispensing alcohol to minors, drug possession and carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence. In fact, during three different traffic stops, law enforcement discovered a weapon, a Glock 10 mm semi-automatic handgun, in von Ehlinger’s vehicle before he disclosed that it was in his possession.
According to police reports, von Ehlinger blamed a charge of careless driving on wet tires, a charge of drug possession on a medical marijuana card that didn’t exist, and on two occasions, he insisted his arrests were at the hands of jealous boyfriends of von-Ehlinger’s ex-girlfriend.
In his 2019 request for a pardon for his past convictions, von Ehlinger would write that he hit “rock bottom” in the late 2000s and was “in and out of trouble.” He was quick to add that he had since turned his life over to the Lord and Jesus Christ. He wrote that he often “gave money to the homeless” and among his hobbies, he listed “trap shooting, cars, traveling, praying and living a law-abiding life.”
When the Commission of Pardons and Parole asked him why he was making the unusual request for a pardon, something usually reserved for previous inmates in state prison, von Ehlinger told the commission that he was a “law-abiding citizen and God-fearing man.”
In June 2020, Aaron von Ehlinger was appointed by Governor Brad Little to fill an open seat in the Idaho House, and that November, he would win an uncontested general election to hold the seat.
On January 13, 2021, just days after von Ehlinger began his first and only term in the legislature, the Idaho Commission of Pardons and Parole unanimously agreed to pardon him for his previous offenses, though the pardon did not expunge his criminal history.  Less than two months after receiving the pardon, von Ehlinger was accused of raping a legislative intern.
He resigned his seat in April 2021 after a House ethics committee hearing over the allegations. He was ultimately convicted of the rape this spring. His sentencing is on hold pending his request for a new trial or acquittal in the case.

Thoughts On The Depp vs Heard Case From A Survivor
So, to give a little backstory and apologies in advance for the essay, I am a survivor of SA and abuse. Now, I was never in a relationship and abused; my story is much different. I will briefly mention p*dophila, so if that might trigger you, I’d stop reading after this paragraph.
I was sexually abused from the ages of about 7-10. I was abused by a family member who was also emotionally and verbally abusive and one who had many issues with alcoholism. He never hit me, though he was physically abusive to my brother. I grew up afraid of my own shadow, and I have a large chunk of my life and childhood erased. I was diagnosed with PTSD sometime last year when memories of the events reappeared in full force. I have zero proof, and I am far past the statute of limitations. I can’t give them any actual details, and I can’t talk or think about it for very long without dissociating or relieving that awful time. There is no way to receive justice, and I’ve come to peace with that. It’s shitty, but that’s life. I think a big part of me would be too afraid to anyway. I’ve never been able to have a relationship, and I have trust issues and walls so thick a wrecking ball couldn’t even tap them.
To address Elaine’s frankly despicable interview, many survivors support Johnny. I can’t explain it to anyone, but we recognise our own. There’s something in the way we talk about the event(s); it’s harrowing. It sits on your shoulders and recounting it feels like choking. So many of us cut ourselves off from the event(s) and try desperately to distract others by making jokes to draw attention away from the conversation. You could see that with Johnny, not with Amber. The way Amber behaved caused the jury to rule against her; she showed her true self on that stand. She was aggressive, recalled “everything” with crystal clear clarity, and got caught in lies multiple times. A biased judge also oversaw the UK case that she kept referring towards; (quick correction here because I was given the wrong information) his son was an editor for The Sun, so he wouldn’t rule against them, let’s be honest. The judge should’ve recused himself, but chose not to. The same man who owns The Sun also has claims in The New York Post and Vogue, two companies vocally against Johnny. Wonder why…
I strongly dislike how Amber Heard painted herself as a martyr; she does not represent us. We have overcome so much, and to have a liar spit in our face by appropriating our daily struggles is so beyond wrong. To claim the verdict is the jury saying, “Oh, we don’t believe you if you don’t have evidence”, is highly inappropriate for a lawyer, especially one “chasing her fifteen minutes of fame”, as she likes to say. Also, accusing the jury, that was holed up in a hotel room with no phone or internet access, of bias is bloody ridiculous.
She continues with this whole, “Oh, it’s a step back for women”, but it’s not. It’s a step forward for male victims, men are finally feeling comfortable enough to speak out, and that’s beautiful. We know women have been used and abused since the beginning of time, but we never talk about men. Men aren’t just abused by their Boy Scout leaders, priest, or boyfriends. They are also abused by women, a fact they are told to be silent about. I remember explaining to my fifteen-year-old employee that his first sexual experience being with his friend’s mother was not ok. He couldn’t get my point, even when I showed him how the role reversal would seem. It had been trained into him by toxic culture and media that women could not be predatory, women couldn’t be abusive. Any sane person will know that’s false.
I’ve connected with many male survivors during this case, a topic I’ve been passionate about since my youth. My abuser was abused; it’s an unfortunate cycle. Men are not given coping tools, just told to “be a man about it”, especially by women who believe men can’t be abused. Yes, I was as shocked as you might be that there are women mad enough to think that only one gender can be abused. They defend Amber purely in the name of “feminism”, which is entirely fake. I can only hope this case lets men know they aren’t alone; they can be heard. Women can’t be allowed to get away with abuse purely based on gender. We also need to stop believing every word that comes out of people’s mouths without any questions. People can’t just accuse others of heinous crimes, especially public figures if they can’t be honest about what happened.
If you’ve made it to the end here, I commend you; I’m very well known for my speeches- blame debate class 😅. All in all, survivors are pissed significantly because so many believed Amber. Those who didn’t were told that they were just in love with Johnny, which is just plainly untrue. Every Amber stan reflects their idol; aggressive behaviour, insults, demeaning survivors, and calling us liars. It’s tiring, it’s upsetting, and we can’t escape from it. I mean, it’s everywhere; there isn’t anywhere this topic hasn’t touched. I’m constantly hit by flashbacks from trauma that keep getting dredged up, and being open about it gets more complicated when civil conversations turn into personal attacks. Elaine and her team were incredibly unprepared and were extremely unprofessional. Johnny scored a rockstar roster and deserved every inch of his win. The message that needs to get across is that no matter what gender, race, or sexuality you are, you aren’t alone. There are millions of us worldwide that are proud of you. Proud of you for pushing through, being brave enough to tell your story, and for being strong enough to fight for the truth. We are not alone, we are a strong community, and we need to support those who go unheard. Victims come in all shapes and sizes, with different coping mechanisms and different personalities. Of course, there's no “perfect victim”, but Amber Heard has proved herself to be nothing but a narcissistic abuser who thought Johnny would never speak up. He has, and we have heard him. None of us should live unheard; no human being should be shunned for speaking their truth.

Bed Friend Ep 10 (Finale) Stray Thoughts
Last time, we got to clear out a ton of bullshit. We didn't have to see Krit at all, the stepdad went to jail, Mongkol is doing his job, Uea and his sister are fine, and King is helping Uea stay on top of his meds, and King's mom is on board. They are officially boyfriends, and I am living my best life.
OMG they filmed Jade barking like a dog.
Uea wins every time. He said you better put that mask on. No one gets to look at you but me.
I'm living the boyfriend yacht trip.
Loon at these two practicing water safety with the life vests. I'm so relieved.
James briefly resembled Mix and I liked it.
Okay, this wine scene in the bubble bath is making my desire for the vampire show even more intense.
Uea being able to face the darkness with King by his side? Beautiful.
Oh good. We checked in on Tonkhao. Unsurprised the mom is still begging for money.
Bestie says that this jewelery sponsorship is a big deal, because this is one of the biggest companies in Asia.
THEY USED THE DANGER TRACK FOR THE MOM'S CONCERN ABOUT THE SMALL DIAMOND.
Sad that Uea is always going to be a little jumpy, but I'm glad he can have fun with King.
I love this proposal. Everyone is here.
They had Tutor in the credits of this whole damn show just have him show up in the final 90 seconds of this season AFTER extending it by two episodes.
Final Verdict: 9, Highly Recommended. This show was overall excellent. I think there were some abrupt editing choices that sometimes left me confused about what exactly was going on. However, this show marketed itself as high heat and used that well to tell its story. Every time they had sex, something shifted in their dynamic, which made it all satisfying. I also like how seriously Uea's trauma was taken. James and Net are one of the most satisfying pairs I've ever seen work, and I'm excited for their upcoming period drama..

★ Salman Khan was the first person Sooraj Pancholi messaged after getting acquitted in Jiah Khan suicide case!
Apr 30, 2023
On April 28, actor Sooraj Pancholi was acquitted of abetment charges by a special CBI court in the 2013 Jiah Khan suicide case. Special CBI court judge AS Sayyed reportedly pronounced the verdict, citing ‘paucity of evidence’. Nearly after a decade, Sooraj walked out of the court a free man. Post the verdict was pronounced in his favour, the actor recently talked about his relationship with Jiah. He even revealed that Salman Khan was the first person whom he messaged after leaving the court on Friday.
'Salman Khan has done more than anyone else for me'
While speaking to Bombay Times, Sooraj shared how the Tiger Zinda Hai actor stood by him during his difficult times. He even recalled what Salman adviced him when he was fighting the case. Sooraj revealed, "Salman Khan is not a friend of my father or mother. Of course, they know each other as they all work in the same industry. I was an AD on Ek Tha Tiger and he had told me that he will produce my first film. I was accused in 2013 two years before that film (Hero) came out, and he still produced that film and stood by me. He has done more than anyone else for me, but I know my limits and I won’t exploit that bond. I have met him a hundred times, but never for work. He was the first person I messaged as soon as I left the court. He had told me, ‘Sooraj, if you know in your heart that you haven’t done anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about.’"
Sooraj also said that he asked for work in the last 10 years but no one gave him any projects due to his legal battle. He added, "I knocked on everyone’s door for work in these last 10 years. Corporates and studios didn’t want to work with someone who had travel restrictions and a sword dangling over his head. They wanted me to have a clean chit first. I feel reborn now and I am ready to work."
During the interview, Sooraj also shared how he met Jiah Khan. He also revealed that they had been in a relationship for only five months. The Hero actor said, "I sent a friend request to Jiah on Facebook. She was a beautiful girl and had done a few films. She reverted about a year later and we became friends. I was in a relationship with Jiah for only five months and I didn’t know the magnitude of what she was going through. She needed love not from her boyfriend, but her family too. She wanted them to support and understand her. Jiah had a lot of pressure to support her family- two younger stepsisters, mother and her partner. She was the only earning member and she wasn’t getting the kind of work that would help her in doing so. I didn’t know the gravity of the situation then as a 20-year-old, but I had informed her mother about her depression and that she needed help."
He went on to add that Jiah had tried to slit her hand back in 2012. He said he called her mother Rabia Khan in London but she didn't show up for months. He said he was there for her but the late actress needed family love. He added, "I was there for her and during that time, we fell in love. She was a wonderful person but my love for her wasn’t enough. She needed familial love. There’s so much I could have said in court, but I didn’t because I want the family to have peace, but accusing me is not the way."

Tumblr media
1. What kind of child were you when you were younger?
Daisuke: I was a normal kid, playing around like everyone else.
Suzume: I was really quiet and awkward. My family was worried for me so they often tried to get me to socialize more.
2. Are there any prisoners you like?
Daisuke: I've been getting along with Noa recently. Its nice to be able to talk to someone in a place like this.
Suzume: Yui used to approach me all the time before this, but now we've drifted apart. I'm worried for her.
3. Would you commit the same mistake as now?
Daisuke: If I could go back knowing what would happen in the future, perhaps I'd take a different path.
Suzume: I'd try not to.
4. Do you remember the name of the person you killed?
Daisuke: Yeah, I think about it all the time.
Suzume: Not really...
5. Has there been anything that you're interested in recently?
Daisuke: I've been reading Noa's book recommendations. There's a lot of drama, but things like that are nice once in a while.
Suzume: Ways to make the guilty prisoners feel better. Their bad moods have everyone else feeling antsy as well.
6. Is there a prisoner that you think is similar to you?
Daisuke: After talking to Noa, I've found that we're quite alike.
Suzume: Haku and I were both fighting to protect someone.
7. How do you feel about your first trial result?
Daisuke: I should have been voted guilty.
Suzume: I don't know what to feel about it.
8. Right now, who do you want to see?
Daisuke: Just my friend.
Suzume: My beloved of course.
9. Is there a prisoner you aren't fond of?
Daisuke: Yui-chan and Mayumi have been acting really weird lately. I'm scared to approach them.
Suzume: I'm just worried for everyone, especially the guilty prisoners.
10. What are you thinking about now?
Daisuke: Memories of my friend keep coming back to me. I can't stop thinking about him even if I wanted to.
Suzume: My boyfriend. I wonder if he's doing well.
11. Do you regret it?
Daisuke: Very much. But its too late now.
Suzume: I try to, sometimes.
12. Were you in the right for your actions?
Daisuke: Not at all. My verdict is undeserved.
Suzume: I'm not sure. But the warden forgives me, so
13. Why the change in outfit?
Daisuke: I suddenly thought of the choker my friend gifted to me. The new shirt is to coordinate with it, add some colour.
Suzume: I was thinking something along the lines of "new trial, new me". I feel more confident in this outfit.
14. Were you in control of the circumstances of your crime?
Daisuke: Yes, but no. Its complicated.
Suzume: I knew what I was doing, but I felt I had no choice.
15. What is the greatest act of love?
Daisuke: Letting go of a loved one who wants to be free.
Suzume: Protecting your loved one with all of your strength!

Jack o' Frost Ep 6 - Finale
Getting around to this a tiny bit late because Midnight Museum has eaten my entire brain, but not as late as I could be (speaking of, MM ends this week so some sort of "here's what I missed when I was obsessing over the story of a maybe-alien and his immortal museum owning boyfriend brother" post will probably be coming. Or two. I don't know I often have too much to say about things).
Anywho.
When last we left off, Ritsu and Fumiya had decided to take some time apart, and that was probably for the best. Frankly Ritsu had every right to be furious, and everyone involved knew it. I don't think that he was pissed, though. At first, yes, but at the end he mostly just seemed sort of sad. Here he was falling in love with this man and it turns out that he'd both already done that and had the full relationship, complete with unhappy ending. Only the one person who should have told him that decided to use his amnesia as a reset button. While I can see the temptation, I also think it's kinda slimy and I wouldn't blame Ritsu for staying away for good.
Oh, the air of melancholy is definitely back. It went missing for a few episodes there.
Okay Fumiya's frustrated yell made me laugh. I get that he probably feels that he's not allowed to go after Ritsu, that he fucked up too much, and well. He did. A lot. But also, not going after Ritsu has been his issue all along. Over and over he decides to leave things to lie rather than try to fight for what he wants, and over and over that has been shown to be the wrong choice. It's Ritsu's decision, ultimately, whether he can learn to forgive Fumiya for what's happened, but I do think that Fumiya should consider letting him know that that's what he wants. Even if ultimately he's rejected. When has keeping his mouth shut worked for him?
HA! It' just doesn't feel like a proper JBL without someone running to their love interest (or chasing their LI around a school, if you're Hira and Kiyoi).
It'll be cute if they come together at the cafe. Like coming full circle.
It's gotta be so weird to take a trip down memory lane when you have a big blank spot in said memory.
Aw, was Ritsu into Fumiya before the cafe? And did he pursue art because of his priase? That's cute. That's very cute. And I mean, I can't say I blame him for wanting to draw Fumiya's face all the time. He's very handsome.
I'm glad he's remembering. While I get the impulse to want to forget all about a relationship when it ends, you'd lose all the good things, too.
Oh the melting effect on the window was nifty.
Um, I don't know. I think hiding a first meeting is a little less a violation than hiding an entire relationship, but that might just be me.
So are they gonna work on their issues here or what? Guys? Those issues that broke you up in the first place?
Okay I'm gonna take Ritsu saying he doesn't want to start over as him saying that they're gonna meet each other halfway as the people they are - the same people that broke up. Because otherwise I'll just work myself into a lather thinking about how saying you're gonna restart doesn't actually do anything without putting in the work to not end up in the same place you were before, and no one wants that.
To be fair I don't really think either of them wanted to break up in the beginning either. I just know that unless we actively try to avoid them, we are often doomed to repeat the same mistakes.
The end was cute, though. Maybe Fumiya is learning to chill a little. And I'll pretend that Ritsu got up afterwards and helped out, rejuvinated.
Final verdict: 8/10. I'm not sure it stuck the landing for me, but I really liked getting to this point. I enjoyed the quiet wistfulness, I loved that this was more adult and that Suzuki Kosuke got a lead role. I also really liked the way it was arranged - the flashbacks into their former relationship bleeding into the way that Fumiya acts with Ritsu, the echoes of how they used to be vs what they are now. I think maybe second chance romances aren't often for me, though, and that might be part of why I'm feeling kind of meh on this here at the end.

The media rushed to cover the latest case in town, the murder case of the lovers,. The accused had just arrived at the court room awaiting his trial while media swarmed around him trying to get some answers from him.
The accused was Choi Seungcheol, accused of murdering his boyfriend of 4 years, Y/N L/N. Acording to the reports, these two had met in the second year of college and started dating in the third. Among all their friends, they were popular for their strong feelings and their undying love for each other. After college, when both of them got jobs, they decided not to waste anytime and moved in together in the first and last house.
On the night of 3 October, at 10:36 pm, the police received a call from their house landline with a man named Seungcheol confessing to killing his boyfriend. The police rushed to crime scene and were shocked to see the front door open through which it could be seen that the accused was sitting with his dead boyfriend in his arms, bawling his eyes out, stroking the hair ofvictim and whispering words of love, knowing he would never hear them again. The police separated both of them and by the time he was arrested and the crime scene was investigated, the media had gotten a sniff of the case and their apartment building was swarming with media, with each one wanting to cover the shocking case of the lovely couple who met their tragic end when the boyfriend killed the other one .
The family of both the victim and the accused were informed and it was rather blatantly shocking as both families knew their child’s partner and had approved of them dating each other. To believe that a couple like them, who were on the path to marrying each other had been met with a end like this was unbelievable. Y/N’s family was beyond consolable, demanding why Seungcheol killed him despite him loving each other. Seungcheol had no response except looking at the floor with red eyes with tears at the brink of them.
When the day of the trial arrived, media was swarming outside to get a glimpse of Seungcheol. The trial had stretched for barely an hour, with Seungcheol accepting all claims and not trying to prove against any of the claims made by his boyfriend’s family.
With everything as clear as crystal, the judge passed the verdict, “After carefully reviewing the evidence and considering the gravity of this crime, it is with great sorrow that I must pronounce my verdict. The evidence presented in this court has established beyond a reasonable doubt that Kim Seungcheol is responsible for the murder of Y/N L/N. The court recognizes the complexities of emotions and motivations involved in this case, but the law must prevail. Kim Seungcheol is sentenced  to 20 years of imprisonment after which he may be considered for parole as the verdict for the murder of Y/N L/N.
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —
After years of spending his verdict in the jail, Seungcheol never confessed to as to why he murdered his boyfriend. Yet, what was more confusing was the pendant he wore around his neck, a diamond ‘S’, which Y/N had gifted to him on their 3 anniversary. If he had loved his boyfriend so much, what was the reason of killing him?
Seungcheol had arrived his shared apartment with no energy, he was dead tired after a busy day of work and wanted nothing more than a hug from his lover. As soon as he entered the apartment, instead of being greeted by the warm smile of his lover wearing his shirt, he was greeted with the puffy eyes of his lover, sporting messy hair and cheeks all dried up from what he assumed were tears. Seungcheol rushed to his lover and was about to ask him when Y/N broke the silence by saying those four words which shattered him completely.
 “I cheated on you”
Seungcheol  didn't feel anything, but maybe that was even better.
Y/N approached Seungcheol with a knife, Seungcheol thought Y/N was about to attack him when the words which came out of Y/N’s mouth shocked him. Never in his own life, he had imagined his lover would ask him to kill him. He staggered behind, trying to ask Y/N if he was in his right mind.
“Darling, I am absolutely sane, I would rather you do it, the guilt is too much for me to live on a life without you.”
“ You don’t have to do this, we can talk about it, we can solve it-“
“This is not one your math problems Seungcheol that you can talk about it and solve it.”
“Everything will be ok, just leave that knife, we have solved our problems together. Don’t you remember the time you burnt my t-shirt, and bought me the same one thinking I would be angry ? In the end I still found out and I was anything but angry!”
Y/N gave a sobbed chuckle, and replied, “There is a difference between a t-shirt and a relationship Seungcheol !”
“It’s not like it can’t be fixed!”
“It can’t! I messed up! I broke everything ! Our love, you trust, everything !”
“Don’t do this Y/N, you know very well I can’t live without you ! All these years-, all these years I have woken up with your smile, slept to your voice, laughed to your dad jokes, cried to the movies we watched together, and most over, I have learned to love myself along with you. My whole life has been related to you ! You are a part of my life-”
“Stop making it hard for me !”
“If it is hard, then drop it, if you love me drop it , if I meant soemthing to you, drop it”
“Seungcheol-ah, you might be able to forgive me, but I can’t forgive myself, life is not always fair, and happy endings are not meant for all. My love, the life we had was worth it, and me saying goodbye won’t a change a thing. it doesn’t mean I am going to forget us. You were the first thing that brought me true happiness and you shall be the last. I love you, Seungcheol.”
Those words were the last he said before he stabbed himself with the knife, Seungcheol watched him fall with a smile, all the memories of them flashing before his eyes. His  warmth left. His smile slipped away. His eyes dimmed. He left before Seungcheol.
Seungcheol rushed to hug the body which barely had any warmth left, he sobbed, blaming himself for this to happen, wanting nothing more but for Y/N to come back.
Him bawling his soul out led to nothing but reminded him of the emptiness, the room which was alone, the room which shall never be filled with lovers voice. They were soulmates, meant to be, but not meant to last.
Before picking up the phone and making that one call to seal his fate, he whispered, “Even after seeing how it ended I'm still glad it began, Rest well my angel.”
