Wait. Hold on. I have to share with you that dream I had tonight because.. because you'll see.

So.

I dreamt someone commissioned an animator to animate a whole trailer/pilote for their fanfic, and instead of making stuff up, my brain just recycled animation it had seen before so it looked like a mashup and caracters looked out of place and their animation style were different and all 😭 but it was overall pretty cool! And impressive!

And the main character was Varian but the anime boy version(????) And I thought it was about him and the person who commissioned's OC. But no. Their OC was dead on the floor in one shot??? And the second lead was some random character that looked like Nana.. from the manga Nana..??????

And even in my dream I was SO CONFUSED

But the concept of the fic seemed fun and the dedication was visible so I kept watching

And then. And then there was a timelapse. And.- I am still not over it. But the Nana doppelganger. Was in fact HUGO but like???? Pre-transition I guess???????? There was a one minute bust shot of him, going from frail feminine face with longish straight black hair, to a more masculine face with a (little) better body build and you saw he cut his hair shorter and then bleached it and then cut it again throughout the year and the black color was slowly coming back but now he genuinely looked like anime boy Hugo. AND I FUCKING LOST IT IN MY DREAM. I GENUINELY SCREAMED AND I FELT LIKE THAT WAS THE MOST SHOCKING REVEAL I'VE SEEN IN YEARS.

DAD AFO THEORY

We're very close to the end of Bnha, and we still have no clues, no news, nothing, about Izuku's father. It's really surprising, and seems to hide something

Welcome to my dad afo theory, this is gonna be very, very long :)

Some people can think that it's just an extreme fanon theory, but it's not. And we're gonna see why :)

I'm gonna talk you about one of the biggest mystery of bnha, the question everyone has asked themselves at least once while reading the manga, or watching the anime:

where the fuck is izuku's dad.

There is two situation really really basic, about protaginists families.

The first one is simple:

•the protagonist/main caracter must have at least 1 parent dead. Do I have to mention an exemple? No.

This rule is not applicated in bnha, because Izuku's two parent are still alive.

Then the second situation:

• if the two parents are alive, one of them is surely absent. We don't know anything about the absent one, so this is a mystey.

Gimme one shonen anime where the two parents are alive and present at same time? Okay we can continue.

When we think about that, horikoshi don't really have a reason to hide the identity of izuku's dad. We're at a dead point in the story. Almost the end. And we don't even know what he looks like.

So it's clearly sure that somethin' gonna happen about this subject.

He honestly didn't need to hide this caracter, if there wasn't any secret around it of cousre.

We just know some TINY informations about him. They aren't even complete as info.

I first gonna write my theory, and then my proofs. I think that all for one might be is izuku's dad.

First, we can begin with his name ひさし Hisashi. You probably know that horikoshi likes to hide things in caracters names kanjis.

Hisashi means ''a long time''. There's a very popular japanese expression ''hisashi buri'' that means ''long time no see''. Hisashi's kanjis other meanings are ''live'' ''long time'' ''still'' ''eternal''.

We can say that ''long time no see'' can be for izuku, who haven't saw his father for a long time, but this is too evident.

What about it's reference to afo? All for one is old. He's from the first generation of quirks. He's 100+ years old. Long time ago... All for one existed since a long time ago.

Another information we know about Hisashi Midoriya, is his fire quirk. We don't know how powerful it is, how far he can use it, or even what color is his flames. We don't know anything.

All for one have for sure a lot of quirks, he can surely use one of them as a cover.

I let you know that All for one has once used a fire quirk, in ''All Might Rising'', in a battle against Nana Shimura.

And the last information we canonly know about Hisashi Midoriya, is that he works overseas (reason why he's not with his family).

Guess what?

The first time All for one appeared in the manga, there was this obvious building in the backround.

The Chrysler Building.

In New york.

Yeah buddies, the first time All for one appeared in the story, he was also overseas.

HMMMM. SUSPICIOUS.

A detail, his family name. If we look at Midoriya's kanjis, especially ''midori'', it's means ''green''.

Did you noticed that ''green'' is the caractersitic (caradesign) of izuku AND his mom. Hisashi surly didn't had green hairs. In Japan, it's common that men take their wife's family name. So, I'm sure that ''midoriya'' is inko's real family name.

(This was for people asking why izuku and afo don't have the same last name etc.)

Believe me or not, we already know Hisashi Midoriya, we already saw him in the story. Horikoshi said we were in final arc of bnha. One of the last fight.

It's not really the right moment to introduce a new person, when bnha is going to end.

Horikoshi can't say ''oh yeah and this (random) guy was izuku's dad, voilà."

And there, as a proof, we have this offical tweet:

If you've noticed, they used the term "revealed", it's not the same as introduced. It means that we already know him, he's already intorduced in the story. And that there will be a REVEAL.

(Japan is in fuckin' war right now, man.If you were a father, wouldn't you join your family, give news, call your son who has the duty to save the world? Srsly)

Inko and Hisashi are still married. (10+ year long distance realtion, congratulation). We don't even know if he's aware his son developped a quirk or not.  Izuku didn't mention, even once his dad's name in the WHOLE manga. When his was about to die, he firstly thought about All might, Bakugo or his mom. Isn't that funny?

At waht point of your relationship with your dad, can you ignore him that much?

(Bnha manga chap 97, Inko is talking to someone (probably Hisashi) , go and read it if you want)

I've heard a lot of theory about ''yeah izuku had a quirk but afo/his dad stole it'', and honestly, I think that izuku was really quirkless.

If izuku is really all for one's son, it justifies why he doesn't have a quirk. As a remembering, the children of the first generations has least chances to develop a quirk than the children of the newest generations.

All for one was from the first geenration of quirks.

I can't write a theory about bnha, if I don't talk about STARWARS.

Might sounds funny for you.

If you didn't know, horikoshi is a big fan of starwars and we have a lot of references in the story (places, names, caracters, etc..) Starwars was one of the biggest inspiration for him. There's a lot of interview about that. You can find this information easily.

We can also notice a lot of parallels between bnha and starwars:

•Izuku and Luke are the main caracters.

•All might is Izuku's mantor, Obi Wan is Luke's mantor.

•Grantorino obvioulsy represent Yoda. Izuku and Luke both had an improving arc with the ''wise guy''.

•if someone thinks that All for one don't represent Dark vador, this person is blind.

•Dark vador and afo both have a machine to breathe, their faces are burned, because of a fight against All might/Obi wan (the mantors).

And horikoshi said it himself.

Wouldn't that be the finest homage to Starwars and the best way to wrap up the story, even narratively?

They both like to analyze quirks (and afo is pretty good at it) In the whole manga, there isn't ONE character who has this passion. Except izuku and his lovely dad afo.

(Do you remember the ''save bakugo'' mission? Afo had a quirk to localise people, their weaknesses and strengths. He didn't order Shigaraki to do anything to izuku?)

Anyway, guys, if this really happens, this will the best things And spectacular turn of events ever. There isn't any reason to hide izuku's father identity. Why did horikoshi hide this? Because his dad is someone important.

Don't forgot that Horikoshi is a walking brain, a genius.

(Bonus: Hisashi ''long time ago'' can also be a reference to all starwars movies beginning. ''Long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...)

(Just a thought: afo is the one who can use multiple quirks. The manga told us that someone who try to use more than one quirk turn into something like a brainless nomu. Afo being Izuku's dad is maybe the reason why Izuku can use the quirks of all OFA carriers? Yeah that was just thought tho)

So, i have played most of the age of empires 3 campaing recently, i have many problems and a lot of questions(specially act 2 of the warchief: shadow) but i will start with the bonecloset.

Now dont miss understand, i love age of empires 3 and i consider it the best of the series since it has destinguishable civilizations with unique units and not only diferent pictures but also avoids being slow like the age of empires 2 granpa (you may like it i dont)

That said rant ahead

My first question is why in the DE they didnt change the fucking story!!! Like so many things are fucking wrong.

Like they are willing to change almost all the story in the second act of the expansion but not the original campaings that were a mess.

You start in malta defending against ottomans, so all good till just after the second mission we get introduced into "an ancient stone library" that talks about the fountain of youth in america. Ancient stone library. IN THE 1500S the end of that campaing is in 1566, ancient my ass. Who the hell carved that? Alain Magnain's mother?

So you get sent by Alain Magnain (leader of the maltese knights and probably ficticious) to the new world to persue the Ottomans and stop them from getting to the fountain. Okay i can get going after the ottomans since you are part of a cristian knight order and most likely recently kicked from rhodes so yeah i could turn a blind eye. But then...

Then you get to the bew world and gets interesnting... fight a spaniard called Francisco Delgado, who despite sounding historical he isnt. And the only one that comes close to the name (and time) is a spanish monk that never visited the new world. Then defend the aztecs, and some incas for some random reason that i dont understand since you never reach the andes in this campaing

Capture the Ottoman and well it turns out that the circle was in the new world. AND WAS LEAD BY ALAIN. So intead of you know, telling morgan that Alain was part both of the maltese order and the boneguard, they fight. Morgan a man of principle decides to betray his commander.

I dont know what is more out of caracter, Alain being dumb and not telling Morgan, or Morgan Black going against his order.

And yes i know they spin it into Alain betrayed the order but makes no sense.

So you have scotman, a (presumably) british pirate and one ottoman fight against the leader of the Forever knights.

If Alain wanted to betray the order he could, i dont know, give temporally the grand master powers to Morgan (or someone else) abd lead the circle to the new world. Clearly he was important since he did lead the circle to the new world

Dialogue is not bad though i like it.

My favorite part was "im an ottoman. i have more gunpowder you could ever use."

You do also get interesting mision desing that keeps teaching stuff in small steps, the first is in creating units and some unit counters, the second is more rounded towards get economy going and more general siege, the third into the naval part of the game, etc. And also one that teaches you about the experience system that is completly new to every player. And secont to lat one where you dont get gold mines but instead need to capture the spanish fleet that makes only gold and makes you contest the map.

So tldr; dumb story, dumb caracters, decent dialogue great gameplay 9/10 just ignore the story.

I was thinking with myself and... I decide to post a headcannon!! It's about a lot of fannon kids that I made for Danganronpa, me and my best friend.

Just to you guys have an idea, we sayed that Miu did a big machine that make kids with DNA, and she made kids for all homosexual Danganronpa caracters

The first kid that I made was Kitsuke Saihara, he is Kokichi and Shuichi son, and will be the first one that I will talk about

Kitsuke is the ultimate robber, having more of Kokichi's personality than Shuichi's, but, to make this kid more terrible, he's smarter than Kokichi and Shuichi.

Well, let me tell you some other information: Kitsuke is 13 years old, he's homosexual and have a little brother. His best friend is a Ishimondo kid called 'Hunter', and he's (future) romantic partner is Iruma's kid with K1-B0, 'Hekay' and Tanaka's and Nevermind's kid, 'Sammy'

Other thing is, Kitsuke is the one who will assume DICE, he already do some work for it, and the members like him a lot, they're like a second family for Kitsuke.

For being the Supreme Leader's son, he is a good leader too, and has a caos gang with some other kids. The gang is: Kitsuke Saihara, Sammy Tanaka, Despair Shirogane, Hunter Oowada, Pecky and Kazou Kuzuuryu and Azumi Shinguji

Like I sayed before, Miu made a machine to 'create' kids with DNA, and... Kitsuke have a history with it... But it involve other history. When Kitsuke was just a kid (2 years I guess), Komahina oldest son made two new kids with random DNA... And Kitsuke wannet to make the same- So... When Kitsuke made 10 years he made the fuckin same thing- But he kwen who DNA he was using. He used Kokichi's and Izuro's DNA and made 'Lua'.. Yeah... He made a little sister-

2. What’s the worst book you’ve ever read, and why ?

I don't force myself into a book that I clearly won't like XD. So it's super rare when I hate a book with all my guts BUT I do have a winner, The secrets of the Immortal Nicolas Flammel, by Michael Scott. It's the worst cause it fucking have a good plot, good story behing, an amazing world and concept and IT IS RUINED BY WRITTING. Every fucking chapter is endend by a shitty cliffhanger like "AND THEN, they heard a noise." and it's always a reveal in a "Ho it's this caracter who is totaly friendly but decided to do a stupid random and creepy noise just for the cliffhanger". It's infuriating. I'm getting mad just to think about it.

10. The book(s) you bought because the cover was pretty, and whether it was worth it

Half my bookshelf XD. I got some very old edition like Les Fleurs du Mal, Germinal, some classics I will never read but IT WAS SHINY. And the most beautiful of this categorie is Arabian Night, by Barnes and Nobles Edition. I can't read shit about that, it's in old english, I don't understand two consecutive words even I managed to read 30 pages but c'mon... SO PRETTY :

16. The book that you don’t dare reread for fear it won’t be the same any more

L'Alchimist, by Paulo Coelho. I read it once, mark some page, let it infuse but I didn't read it ever after that... Wich is weird, considering the fact that I read my books ten times. I don't know, it would feel weird to read it again... I think when it will be the right time, I will read it again. When I will need it.

19. That book with a twist that felt like a blow to the chest. Tell me about it. (But warn for spoilers if necessary!)

L'Elegance du Hérisson, by Muriel Barbery. TMTC. I didn't see that coming and god, the PAIN. I remember crying so hard my Mum got worried XD. But I did cryed my eyes out and sobbed... I'm not gonna spoil it, of course. I read that book often and each time, I cry and feel like someone punch me directly in the heart. It's the most beautiful book I read.

20. The coolest bookshop you’ve ever been to

To my great shame and deshonor, I don't go often to bookshop...

So I kinda have no answer... Even the one we went together, in Paris, with the underground room, was suuuuper cool !

24. The book that you got into because of the movie/TV series/etc, and the relative merits of each version

HUNGER GAME ! I reaaaally like the first movie so when I get out of the cinema, I went straight to a bookshop and bought the 3 books (in martinique... I paid almost a hundred of euro for thoses XD). The first movie is realy great, it captures a lot of the books essence, wich is super cool but the more intresting comparaison is how it went after that.

Hunger game books talks about how we, as a society, can and will accept everything. Every horror and pain, torture, child abuse, rape and mass killing, all, we will all accept it IF it's presented well in a society well feeded. Panem and Circus. It talks about how a society was realy okay about child forced to murder child, okay about it cause it was "a game". A very very pretty game, with colors and pretty dress and maybe tragic love story. That exact tragic love story used to distract people from a rebellion.

And I watched the last three movie present a tragic triangle love story as the main object, rather than the rebellion or how media can be used by power.

As I watched Katniss (burned to her bones, without hair, covert in scars, drugged by morphine in the books), absolutly stunning in the movie, with makeup on fleek, outfit amazing and determination, walk in the end of movie, I remember saying in the movie theatre "God, they realy did it the same way Panem would be".

I've been a fan of spn since 2006, I was 12 the first time I watched it and never stopped watching. What they did to Cas and Destiel was shitty but... I actually liked the ending. It was bitter-sweet, could have been better (the way of death was ridiculus, would have loved to see some caracters one more time, a dog doesn't go to heaven...) and I ugly-cried during most of it. But I actually liked it. It was a very spn way of ending things. I don't regret spending 14y of my life watching it.

That’s great! I’m glad the show at least got to end itself instead of randomly being cancelled right after a random season at least. Good to now fans r still enjoying it

Greys Anatomy let your characters go challenge

ot Disclaimer - this is my opinion and you are absolutely free to disagree with me on this! I’d love to have a conversation about it, but please don’t be mean thank you!

Over so many years and seasons it is obvious that some characters are going to leave and new ones will join. And that is normal, and necessary for the show to keep going and to not turn boring. Mostly, that works fine, some people will be upset about a character leaving, others will be happy, same thing for new characters, rinse and repeat. 

Its pretty well known in the fandom that the characters get written off in ways that reflect the way the actor was like on set. Meaning, if they were assholes, they would leave in dishonorable ways, and if they were nice, their character would get a happy or heroic ending. (One big example of this would be Isaiah Washington, whose character Burke left by leaving his fianceé at the altar after he outed TK Knight as gay and harrassed him for his sexuality. TK Knights Character George died from saving a woman who was about to get hit by a bus.) 

However, in most of these situations the caracter left the show because the actor didn’t want to/couldn’t play them anymore for whatever reason.

The other option was characters getting written of for plot reasons, not because of the actor. And here is were Greys Anatomy sometimes can’t let go.

The reason that i was inspired to even write this post was the most recent episode (S17EP14 Look up child). In this episode, the character April Kepner returns to introduce a way to get another Character, Jackson Avery, to leave the show with her. 

April Kepner is a character introduced in the sixth season as a extremely religious and insecure character, who slowly works herself up to being a trauma surgeon. Over most of her plotline, her “main thing” is that she is inexperienced regarding romantic and sexual matters, saving herself for marriage because of religious reasons. At some point she breaks this promise by sleeping with Jackson Avery the day of their board exams, which she ends up failing. They continue to have sexual interactions until they at some point break up and April meets the Paramedic Matthew. They get together and plan to get married, however both April and Jackson still have feeling for each other despite both dating other people. Jackson ends up confessing his love to her at her and Matthews wedding, and they run away together and marry each other in some random small church on the way. They get pregnat, the kid has fucked up bones and dies immediately after birth, following which April decides to join the military as a trauma surgeon for a three month tour. Se ends up staying longer, losing more and more contact with Jackson and they decide to divorce shortly after she comes home. She realises she is pregnant, but doesn’t tell Jackson to not complicate the divorce, but guess what, it does it anyways. They figure it out after a while and want to raise their child as coparents. In the fourteenth season April has another crisis of faith and becomes a really wild partygoer to deal with that, eventually sorts her shit out and gets back together with Matthew. They leave the show to take care of homeless people in seattle, good for her.

Personally, i was glad when she left. I didn’t like April, she was annoying and insecure and holier that thou religious. Even other characters and actors describe her character as that (though in the “and thats charming” way, which... noo...). She had shortly left the show before for a few episodes at a time, for example when she was in the military or for a short while before it was made public that she was back together with Matthew. And every time she came back, and it just felt weird. These could have been good endings for her, but they kept bringing her back.

Similarly, the relationship between her and Jackson kept being revived, despite clearly not working. There were multiple episodes specifically marketed as “Japril” Episodes, and they were all annoying and just ended with them deciding again that their relationship didn’t work, no surprise there. 

And now, in the recent episode, she returns again. And gets back together with Jackson. I get that she just came back to create an open for him to leave, but i still think it wasn’t necessary. Jackson actual argument for leaving is that he wants to take over his family foundation to create more equality in medicine.

 (This season heavily features current 2020/2021 topics, and the episodes about the black lives matter situation was actually pretty well made in my opinion, especially the station 19 episode (i have seen PoC talk positively about the episodes and they felt good to me as someone who is very invested in the movement, but i am a white person so please correct me if I’m wrong here))

And that would have been a good exit already, i don’t understand why April had to come back at all.

I assume it was just fanservice, since she actually had a pretty big fanbase during her time on the show, and a lot of people really like their ship. 

But, to me, it just feels like the writers are too lasy to come up with new storylines for the characters and just keep bringing together and then spltting up their couples. And that is annoying, in my opinion, sometimes you jut have to now when a certain plot point gets boring and you might want to come up with something new. 

Japril just didn’t work, but they still kept getting pushed together just to break up again. I really hope that both of them finally leave for good and don’t just randomly come back.

I guess my point is, the show needs to learn when to get rid of certain characters and plotlines. Even if you have to kick a fan favourite, sometimes thats just what a show needs to be able to grow and get better or even just stay good.

(I realize that starting this blog with a post about Greys Anatomy might be counterproductive, but i don’t care. All my friends are gay and don’t really give a shit about it and i personally dont even think its a good show but i have been watching this shit since like seventh grade and now im just somehow attached to it. Point is no one is actually gonna understand if i were to talk about this show irl, but thats what the internet is there for amirite)

favorite thing about him: all of him?? good design, perfect balance of respectful to snarky, ultimately just a very good boy

least favorite thing about him: sometimes if i see fanart of him i do a double take and think he’s h*mestuck (not inherently bad but it is weird)

favorite line: he has so many good one liners tho... once hypnos is like “thanks for the nectar, glad you died just now!” and zag, in the most sickly-sweet voice, goes, “i’m glad i died as well hypnos! i’m glad i died, as well.”

brotp: honestly hypnos. getting him to max friendship is cute bc every time you see him after he’s just like “HI BEST FRIEND” and it’s really sweet. dionysus is a close second due to teaming up to pull pranks and dusa is also a close second just because dusa is so so good and i love them being buds

otp: basically i’ll ship him with (almost) anyone because... i can ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ he and thanatos are endgame for me tho so i guess it’s them. i know that’s boring lol

notp: the obvious creepy shit that luckily i have not run into much of but unfortunately have run into some of
