GODDAMIT I MISCLICKED ON AN ASK AGAIN WISJEK this was supposed to be a part of that!
While Mags is physically and emotionally recovering, he spends some time in the remote forest where the Animal Friends live. Away from his usual haunts; away from places that remind him too much of Meta and the Four. The other Allies that stayed by his side during Back to Zero visit him there too!
A sanctuary…a retreat. Full of song, dance, art, and…lots and lots of baked goods (bc Nago and Shiro love to make bread!!). Its like a ghibli movie in there. He deserves it.
(The piece, and the whole recovery arc, was inspired by a recent trip up a mountain region where I usually recharge. Was playing some Irish jigs while travelling up the misty road…good, good vibe that Mags probably experiences himself while hes recovering.)

Daemon AU returns! Featuring the Olgimsky’s. Started this set months ago but waffled so much on Capella’s animal and had so much other stuff to draw that I practically forgot about it. Wall of text under the cut. c:
Capella - Stork
“One day, I will grow real wings. Heavy, lifting wings...”
After the Polyhedron falls, the daemons of the town’s adolescents mysteriously settle all at once. For Capella I knew I wanted a bird, and went through a lot of options before settling on a stork. In myths, storks are associated with delivering babies, which I felt appropriate for the leader of the town’s children, whilst also echoing Victoria Sr’s swan daemon. (Victoria was sometimes called “White Swan” according to the wiki!)
Other forms I considered included capybara, a ferret, a cassowary, and a butterfly, so let’s just say those were Thomkin’s preferred forms pre-settling. X) (I picked the name with a cute, fluffy creature in mind then never bothered to change it.)

Vlad Jr - Lurcher/Staghound
Here’s where I admit my process for picking daemons is like 30% animal symbolism and 70% aesthetics and vibes. Look at her, she has a little mustache. A large game hunting dog/herding dog cross felt appropriate for the heir to the Bull Project- a working animal, but one set apart from those it was bred to oppress. Domesticated, but not the one that ends up getting eaten. A working dog is at the intersection of loyalty and intelligence but also obedience and lack of independence. Eudora is always close to Vlad’s heels- practically tripping him up at times. A nervous and ungainly creature that adores its master unquestioningly. Her tail tends to betray Vlad’s state of mind.
For the name, I wanted something warm and loyal-sounding.
Eudora = Eu (“true”- Greek) + doré (“gold”- French)
(It also sounds a little like "adore". At least that was my reasoning, then I found out Eudora is an actual name in Greek, and means “good gift”!)

Vlad Sr - Babirusa
On your right you’ll see a capitalist pig, and a wild boar standing next to him SJDFHKSJD
Apart from that awfully tongue-in-cheek association, the babirusa is a species with a very strange defect, possessing tusks that will continuously grow, sometimes until they pierce the creature’s own skull and kill it. Unchecked growth to the point of harm felt like an apt analogy for the kind of ruthless capitalist Boos Vlad is. This one was very easy to pick.
The name “Nagoya” was pulled from Nago, the vengeful boar demon from Studio Ghibli’s Princess Mononoke, who ironically became a demon due to the exploitation of its environment. I can’t remember if daemons can eat or drink in HDM, but I’ve decided that Nagoya does- she gets her own glass of wine at parties, and is very discriminating about the quality of roast beef.

Shaman King Elemental: Hakuro
To celebrate the new Anime I decidet to show you my characters. The fact that this year is also the year my story takes place and the anime gets a new version makes it so awesome x3
Today I present you Hakuro,the elemental warrior of earth.
(if there are missspelled words....I’m to bored to look through it today.)
Hakuro is a high headed young boy. But even when he loves to pick a fight he is raised at a nobel household.
Hakuro’s past was the total opposite, he grew up in middle east by his mother who feld in love with a man from England, he was half Japan and half English that’s why he got that name.
Unloved by her family she raised her boy with all the love she still had left. Hakuro always smiled and was a joyfull young boy who loved to run around and play tricks. Not noticing the less of food they had.
One day he went to hills near his home looking for plants to eat and small creatures when he noticed a rock with a pitch black small cage. Curious he wanted to know what’s inside and tried to get in but stock. Then Soltier appeared talking a foreign language. Full of fear Haku tried to get in the cage when an evil deep voice calling him. Haku noticed the stinky breath who feld hot like magma. The voice wonders if he is afraid but Haku said no.
After the soltier disappeared Haku went out of the cage seeing a lot of brass broken on the ground. The voice, appeared as a giant dinosaurian like creature with a red body. Named Bahamut.
He said that this was Hakuro’s power and he would stay with him for a while and in the end he would eat him. Hakuro giggles but not for long. At home a man stands infront of his mother yelling at her, it was his father who wanted to take him with her giving him a better live.
Bahamut
Like all of my Elemental Spirits Bahamut is based on a Pokemon Groudon. I drew them when I was around 12 and doesn’t wanted to change them. Bahamut was once a small Thorny devil, now with the ability of using the earth for it’s will he became a giant monster with red hard skin and big teeth. Even when he looks intimidating Bahamut is very friendly and loves children but he would never say that out lout. Like all the spirits is the conection to their shamans very deep. Later Bahamut safes Hakuro and the others from the power of the evil…more on the bottom.
Present
After Hakuro got the mission to look for the stone he went back to his home town for the first time since his father took him away. He is still able to understand the language. Even when he was homesick as hell the first thing he did was looking for the stone. Also Hakuro was the first one who met one of the enemies group. A young girl and a small boy, they tricked him and brought him into a self made cave. He woke up by them arguing with each other and when they fought Hakuro they weren’T able to fight with each other well, in the end they destroyed their own hideout by flooding the tunnels. Hakuro safed them and also found the stone.
He went to the house of his mother seeing she had another daughter and a boy. When his mother saw him then, she was very weak, she couldn’t believe. Hakuro then hoped that everything would be maybe normal again with their parents. His mother got another man but he died.
The most of the story Hakuro takes small roles he is a strong and powerful fighter but the most important moment is in the end of the story.
When Rika came back after her betrayal he was one of the first who believed she told the truth, Hakuro felt her heart beating.
When he fused with Spirit of Earth a man with red hair brown skin, scars and muscles appears infront of him (he is totally looking like Houzukumaru when I think about it now...) Josun, his name, tells Hakuro the true power of the Elemental Warriors. The thing what will make them to the choosen one.
The power not only to control the earth around them, also the fact they could control the whole planet destroying them in a moment it was also the power to control the different elements inside their bodies. Josun explains him a special technique to seal Tabris and the spirit from moving.
He also tells him what everyone can control: Earth is as strong as bones; Electricity is fast as nerves; Water continues nutritious like veins; Fire is the heat of the muscles; Wind is the breath and Mind is the knowledge; but they are 3 others, the soul part of the water who gives us personality, the wish who let us live and the heart who let us exist.
When they want to fight and win they had to find the heart elemental warrior…
Hakuro tells this to his friends later and they search for the last Warrior.
Then in the final fight, he was the first one who got to feel the true power of the dark spirit.
The power of Unbeknownst
He wakes up in a perfect world without spirits, he has a normal day at school praying to Tabris the savior, but soon he feels controlled and then on a school trip he heares the voice of his spirit.
Bahamut told him he totally got lost and wasn’t able to see him anymore, Hakuro apologies and says he missed him. Then he tells the others of Tabris plan to control the human letting them pray only for him, letting them loosing the ability to see spirits and use their power for help.
Together with the others they use the special technique again this time they made it….
In the Epilog
He is the first one Jao finds in the great spirits desert, after becoming the earth itself.
Later when they come back to the real world he meet his siblings and his mother who is now with his father again.

Even when he is a big mouth he also has a big heart and takes good care of his friends and family.
He is able to feel if someone is laying or saying the truth by feeling the vibration through the bones. He could heal bones but he never tried because he never thought about it.
He is able to use all kind of earth, swamp, sand, stone,...but not only to destroy it he also can fix it again. He shows that when he destroyed a stone at Yoh’s house letting it slowly rebuild.
The girl he saved from drowning has a crush on him and later went to their group (I totally forgot this)
He hasn’t a favorite food because at least to have food is more important.
He is very smart at school and ones will help his father at his company.

Adeleine is best friends with the Animal Friends!
They’re all really close (she met them when she was barely 1 year old) and she still spends lots of time with them! But she’s got special things she does with each of them!
Rick: He’s soft and rotund! He has his accent from the anime (because I like it) and he’s super sweet! His rotundness comes from being a chubby little lad and he can and will use it to his advantage. He likes to take naps with Adeleine and she winds up sleeping on his stomach. He is super comfy to lay on and he doesn’t mind! He also likes to go into stone form and roll down hills with Adeleine on a wheelie saddle attached to his back (wheelie saddles are built to sit above the wheel part of the wheelie, meaning the rider can sit on them and not get sent headfirst into the dirt).
Kine: He’s very nice! He tends to be kept to himself a lot because he can’t do much outside of the water, but on warmer days Adeleine will join him to swim! He knows a lot of funky little hidden areas in rivers and ponds and shows them to her because she’s a cool friend! She’s got a lot of undersea treasures lined up on some shelves in her house from all the trips she’s had with Kine!
Coo: Smart and a mentor for her! He taught her a majority of what she knows now! He loves showing her new things and letting her figure things out. She’s smart! He knows she is! But sometimes she needs help understanding stuff and he’s ready to help her! He’s also very soft and makes little chirps when pet so she 100% does that.
Chuchu: Close, but not as close as you’d think. Chuchu is obnoxiously noisy and never shuts up. Also doesn’t really know the definition of Personal Space. She does have a very feminine sense to her and absolutely helps Adeleine pick out a cute outfit every so often.
Pitch: Baby man! He’s very stubborn but also a sweetie! He likes to do things Adeleine does and, being smaller than Kirby, also likes to squeeze into tiny spaces and find stuff! They squeeze into tree trunks and find little seeds and nuts to eat! Adeleine gets a share of the rewards too!
Nago: Bestest friend in the entire world. Nago and Adeleine are closer than ever. The two hang out quite a bit. Nago can be a snarky asshole, but they’re quite nice! He hears a lot of stuff Adeleine needs to vent out, probably because he’s there to just listen and provide comfort (Ribbon tends to have an opinion on things, even when she sometimes shouldn’t). The two can 100% be found napping together. Nago purrs and is super warm and that makes him the perfect napping buddy!

NAHA, Japan (Kyodo) -- Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi and Okinawa Gov. Denny Tamaki remained at odds during their meeting Thursday over the issue of a key U.S. military base relocation within the southern island prefecture.
Tamaki reiterated his opposition to the controversial transfer plan for U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, located in a residential area of Ginowan, to the less populated coastal area of Henoko in Nago in line with Japan's agreement with the United States, demanding that it be relocated out of the prefecture.
Kishi visited Okinawa for the first time since assuming the post of defense minister last month.
Kishi told Tamaki that the government's position on the issue is unchanged, saying that the relocation to Henoko is "the only solution from the perspective of maintaining the deterrence of the Japan-U.S. alliance and addressing the dangers (of having the base) in Futenma."
"Making steady progress with relocation work should lead to an early return of the land in Futenma" occupied by the base, he added.
Tamaki said the central government should listen to Okinawa residents who want the facility out of the prefecture and "stop its landfill work (in Henoko) at once," while handing to Kishi a written request calling for the early resumption of meetings between officials of the central government and Ginowan aimed at realizing an early return of the land for the Futenma base.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Kishi said the government will consider resuming the talks.
Okinawa accounts for about 70 percent of the total acreage exclusively used by U.S. military facilities in Japan despite the prefecture only representing 0.6 percent of the country's land.
Prior to the talks at the prefectural government office, Kishi inspected the progress of the construction work in Nago.
In April, the local bureau of the Defense Ministry asked the prefecture for a permit for an alteration to the base design after concluding that ground improvement work is needed along the coastline of Henoko. But, the Okinawa government is expected to reject the request.
Kishi's two-day trip to the island prefecture through Thursday came as Chinese government vessels are stepping up activities in waters around the uninhabited Senkaku Islands in Okinawa at the heart of a territorial dispute with China.
China claims the Japan-controlled islets about 400 kilometers west of Naha in the East China Sea and calls them Diaoyu.
