hello! can i ask a norton,Aesop,and naib

with an s/o that got really hurt during a match like it injured the whole right side of there s/o face and also made their s/o loss there right eye? so like at first another survivor told them you got hurt so they went to you thinking you just got a scratch or something but they didn't expect to find there s/o in a puddle of their own blood holding the right side of there face because it got hit with a flare gun which exploded right when it hit the right side of there face,

(it's fine if you don't want to do this or your not comfortable writing it, that's fine but thanks for taking the time out of your day to read my request(⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

🟢 𝐍𝐀𝐈𝐁 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐄𝐃𝐀𝐑 🟢

Accidents occasionally happen in the manor, which always gets on his nerves. It's just the soldier in him.

No room for mistakes with this one.

So when he found out you were in an accident with a flare gun, he was pretty pissed off.

THIS is why people can't afford to fuck up, anytime, any day. Because people like you get fucking hurt.

Cracking his knuckles for a totally unrelated reason guys don't worry.

Emily was pretty stern with him before letting him into her little nursing room that she made for injuries after matches.

Don't apply extra stress on the wound.

Allow for proper rest.

Don't let them apply for matches until their face is at LEAST 77% healed and that's if we're being generous.

As Emily listed off the rules, Naib just got more agitated.

Had something like. Actually gone wrong?

And once he saw you. Holy fucking shit.

Memories came flooding back.

It was like. Actively sort of triggering him. Looking at you like that.

As Emily applied the final bandages to your face to make sure you wouldn't get infected, he couldn't look at you.

Not that he thought you were ugly, no no. It was. Physically painful to see the one he utterly adored to be in that position.

A position his friends were in so long ago.

He tries to get you to rat out who did it. He just wants to talk.

Once the healing is done and it turns out you've lost an eye. He honestly feel sick, for you. Again, he isn't any less attracted to you. But it's. It's so raw for him. It takes him a while to feel okay.

He has war trauma guys.

He's a little more careless than Naib, so when he heard about an accident in a duos match.. He didn't really bat an eye.

You were tough, he trusted you. Although, he'd still pretty fucking upset. Like. Come on. How the hell did that even happen in the first place? In fact, the news that an "accident" occurred kind of unnerved him.

And like Naib, Emily gave him a run down on how to treat the wound. Which he could only scoff at.

He knew how to treat a wound like that. Especially a facial wound.

*vaguely gestures to his face*

And. GOD. his reaction to your face.

FUCK DUDE.

It hurts him knowing that you've gone through the EXACT same thing that he has.

Unlike Naib, he doesn't struggle to look at you from guilt. No. He doubles down.

He's extra attentive to you, although he basically discards Emily's advice, he handles it in his own... Mr Mole sort of way.

⚰️ 𝐀𝐄𝐒𝐎𝐏 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋 ⚰️

He's pretty expressionless on the daily. It's hard to read his eyes especially with the mask, so when someone br𝐪oke the news that something happened to you during a match.. It was hard to gauge his reaction.

Internally, he was pretty conflicted actually.

One half - was he finally allowed to preserve you for your beauty? No scar or scratch or anything could ever doubt your luminescence to him.

On the other half -

If you weren't already dead...

ARE YOU OKAY?

He was stressed, very stressed.

Anyways. He's actually not a germaphobe as one would expect from the gloves and the mask. So when Emily advised him to watch after you carefully, he listened cautiously.

Once he saw your face

He didn't flinch.

"Oh dear,... Poor [Y/N]...are you feeling alright?"

Probably the only time Emily saw him actually interact with someone like.. A normal human ngl.

Aesop doesn't blink twice.

When I say nothing could tear his eyes from you, I mean nothing.

Lost eye, half scarred face, burnt skin smelling like a chicken dinner.

He truly believes you are the most beautiful th. FINE. FINE. HE'LL PUT DOWN THE SYRINGE :((

Predictions for The Voyage of Oceanus

(I made guesses last year for the Zinaida event and managed to correctly guess Andrew was the culprit/killer before it was revealed, so I wanted to try to do that again this year before we got too much info or any answers)

Main Predictions

Frederick is the antagonist (as in he will be the cause of the events that occur during this event or at least a contributor to some degree)

The jellyfish toxins will be the cause of everyone going crazy/behaving abnormally and whatever hallucinations they see (ex: my guess is it is the reason behind Alice's behavior and what she said she saw to Inference)

Charles will be involved in whatever incident Inference has to solve but won't be the actual true culprit (this is a guess based on Charles' backstory, as his actions indirectly lead to the (accidental) death of his friend. As it was indirect, that's why I guess in this event Charles will either be falsely suspected to be the culprit or may play a minor role in what happens but he won't do anything super bad, at least on purpose)

Violeta may seem dead but may not actually be truly dead (based on how she likely survives in canon after Joker leaves her to die in the snow, and how I wonder if she'll be involved in the "guest performance" referenced in Mike's 3rd letter)

Side Notes/Predictions

That agreement Branley had many of the personnel aboard the ship on his voyage sign is suspicious, the same one that Mr. Worthington didn't have to sign as he wasn't part of the "core personnel". Secretive agreements usually imply something up. "Trying to hide their research discoveries" feels like whatever they found out could be important, and the crew 25 years later will likely discover whatever it was considering Inference makes a comment about doing so during the event. Not sure yet about this, just wanted to call out it's suspicious and stood out to me.

Speaking of suspicious, there's also that letter from whoever provided Inference with his disguise. No idea who this is. I did try to think about who it could be, but many of my guesses didn't feel quite right (I wondered about Wu Chang, but we know nothing about him or why he'd help. There's Paranormal Detective, but he wouldn't do something like this. There's Fiona, who does do disguises, but I'm not quite sure. There's White, but like Paranormal Detective, as Inference knows him, I doubt he'd do something in this fashion. My big random guess is DM, even if just because he'd get a laugh out of making Inference dress in the type of outfit Inference detests. That and DM seems to be the reason Inference gets involved in a lot of the cases we see during these anniversary events. So yea, he's so far my first guess, but who knows.)

Frederick was the "benefactor" to spend a "huge amount of money" building this copycat ship and getting all the exact details, down to the roles people play, as similar as possible. So with how long he spent to prepare this, it contributes to the idea that Frederick could be behind whatever incident occurs during this event aboard the ship.

I don't quite know why, but for some reason Keigan mentioning the "blue jellyfish pendant" stood out a lot to me. (Honestly I at first didn't really read everything, but I paused after seeing that mentioned). Not quite sure why, but reading it made me wonder if whatever this was would be important, or if it appearing or disappearing would be important for this event. I actually reread everything after that, which was when I realized it belonged to this "Professor Schelling". It was only then that I made the connection "Hey, Frederick's S-tier has blue jellyfish themes all over his outfit". Maybe if Frederick was tied to this Schelling person, that could explain why he'd put so much effort into recreating this ship and voyage. Then from there, I noticed it mentions Schelling's "acedemic achievements" weren't "directly inherited", with his children being "too young" to learn anything of "scientific value". Not "directly inherited" makes me think of Frederick in canon who didn't inherit his family's musical talent. And I had to reread the children bit twice to realize it's not saying he didn't have children. He did, they were just too young. So his children were the ones that didn't "inherit" that stuff from the previous line. Ergo, Frederick might be the kid of this Professor Schelling. So even if he wasn't very knowledgeable about science initially, considering the science books in his room, it seems he might've tried to fix that, potentially similar to Frederick trying to be a famous musician despite not having the same musical skills as his family. If Frederick is recreating what happened 25 years ago, and his father was involved, maybe he's trying to prove he is just as good as his father? I'm also thinking of parallels to Frederick in canon and why he's going after the Blue Hope gem...

Similar to how I wonder if Orpheus drugs the participants by including it in their meals, I wonder if the jellyfish toxins will poison people by being included in people's meals. Frederick did mention it can affect people if ingested. That would potentially mean Demi might be working with Frederick, since she prepares people's foods. Considering how Demi seems to be working with the manor owner and her roles in other events, this wouldn't surprise me too much. Her name is "Siren" after all, so this sort of role, especially if she's giving people toxins that could cause hallucinations like a siren's song might, seems fitting for her codename.

The mention of electromagnetic fields reminds me of some of the research/theories I wrote regarding Jose, as I remember discussing how electromagnetic fields, like what is mentioned in Wu Chang's letters regarding events during Jose's game, can affect compasses, which can lead to people getting lost, which I remember due to my research regarding Jose's Bobolink skin (bobolinks are birds that can navigate via electromagnetic fields, and will fly in the wrong direction due to mesing with those fields). I remember the event mentioned Inference's clock being frozen at 6:30. I wonder if this'll be important somehow. (I also just find all the potential connections to stuff I did for Jose funny and had to call it out. Works out I already did all this research so I know about some of this already ^_^')

I’m so sorry but I literally have never played LC before 😭😭😭, grammar and spelling warning!

The Mercenary is a cold and selfish person who had killed many in the past. His heart is as cold as ice and would’ve stayed that way if he never had gone to the manor.

If he had never met you.

What do you do when you fall in love? When your head over heals? Probably not gaslight, guilt trip, and possibly kill over it. Right?

But Naib Subedar has never been in love, nor has he (probably) ever seen it. So when you manage to befriend him (despite the handful of people who told you not to…) you hadn’t realized what you were getting yourself into.

He enjoys teasing and flirting with you just to see what kind of reaction you give him. Seeing if you’ll get all defensive (which he loves) or if you’ll go beet red in the face (which he adores).

He LOVES showing off and managing to impress you. He carried you to the exit gate once because you were hurt and he “didn’t want you to get injured more then you already were”. You were all red and trying to cover your face with your hands and he thinks it’s the cutest thing ever. You mumble a little “thank you” before he puts you down to enter in the code to the gate. He’s got a smirk plastered on his face as he leaves with your hand in his.

When this man gets obsessed, he gets OBSESSED. And while I’m sure that you can say that about any yandere, Naib wouldn’t hesitate to pull out all the stops on trying to get you to himself.

He thinks that this is just him showing how much he loves and care about you. How he adores you and you alone. How nobody could ever replace you, and that you’ve stolen his heart and are keeping it captive. The Mercenary doesn’t know the difference.

He’s possessive, obviously. Assuming that you don’t have a clique or many close friends in the manor, he won’t hesitate to spread rumors. Saying that he overheard one of your friends say something negative about you, and that you should probably drop them.

Wouldn’t waste a second if he had to kill someone. When he sees you getting too close with someone, their a goner.

You soon realize that all of your friends/crushes are either dead or don’t wanna go near you in fear of getting killed themself. The only person who you can interact with nowadays is Naib, who would’ve guessed!!!

But by the time you notice, it’s too late. Naib’s got you all to himself now. And with everyone else who’s left him in his life (either willingly or unwillingly…) he won’t let you go so easily. No, not this time and not the next.

Not till death does thy part.

I LOVE WRITING GENERAL HCS here you go anon!! sorry for the long wait, i initially wanted to post this like a week ago but i lost my draft so i got a bit demotivated :C

naib subedar general/random headcanons🗡

naib is a 168cm tall, buff menace

he might be short but his strength and impressive speed compensate for that - he packs quite the punch and it's near impossible to catch him on most days

he's a pretty introverted person and keeps to himself usually, and a lot of survivors avoid him anyway due to his short temper and cold, stoic personality - but deep inside he's truly a sweetheart

bad case of resting bitchface too

gets mocked for his height often AND gets used as an arm rest by some survivors (aka josé and norton who find his angry fits funny and are immune to his yelling) and even some bold hunters (joseph and jack mostly because they're cocky little shits)

also has various scars on his body from battles, he's not ashamed of them but he's not proud of them either

one of the veterans of the manor, he saw a bunch of shit both on the battlefield and in the games so he's prepared for any inconvenience

a really good team leader, he rarely panicks and will even sacrifice himself for the team's benefit if needed and knows how to praise and motivate people

one of the rare survivors that's actually feared by hunters - he'll actually get into physical fights with them in order to escape, no hesitating either😭

he gained quite the reputation for himself on the hunter side of the manor - some grit their teeth in anger whenever they hear his name being mentioned, and others are impressed by how daring, devoted and fierce he is

also, he's the one survivor (except newbies) who takes the game VERY seriously and is genuinely afraid in matches. all the alarms, calibrations, and increased heartbeat trigger his PTSD and it's hard to find the matches fun that way

still doesn't trust the hunters even if they approach him in a friendly way, yeah he's gonna keep a safe distance far away from them thank you very much

ok now let's stray away from depressing stuff it's time for random hcs😈😈

he pierced his own ears a while ago!! he usually wears basic black studs but they're not visible due to his hood

VERY BAD at dressing up. like his closet is full of the same cloaks, shirts, pants and boots, mostly because it's more practical and you won't feel bad if you get yourself dirty in the games - and when he DOES get dressed up by miss nightingale he always grunts about how uncomfortable and tight the fitted shirts are and how she put on too much hair gel

has severe trust issues but one of the rare people he would trust with his life is emily - they bonded together during the long, long hours of him getting patched up and having his refractory wounds cleaned from the mud in the infirmary

he keeps his hair long enough to tie it into a ponytail but sometimes he goes with an undercut/deathhawk(?) if the heat gets unbearable during the summer, he shaves it by himself ofc >:]

ok as much as i think naib doesn't like getting dolled up i DO think he likes to do masc makeup. like nothing sparkly or glamorous just some basic stuff like kohl around the eyes and eyebrow pencil to accentuate his features

he's very messy while doing it too, applying everything with his fingers and not minding if it's smudged in some places

yk that meme of how men apply chapstick?? yea thats literally him LMFAOAOA

during matches he's going to literally climb up his teammates to get a better sight at his surroundings, it comes off as a huge shock to newcomers but others got used to it

also tried to sneak in blades into the games but always got caught😔

his arms are his biggest weakness due to the injuries in the war and the straining he puts them through - his elbow pads only provide him enough support to not break his bones on impact so he mostly relies on his legs

has a very strict sleeping schedule so he has time to do exercise in the morning, but if he doesn't have any training planned out for the day he could sleep until noon

has really bad alcohol tolerance and doesn't like drinking anyway

practices breakdancing when he has free time, once the music starts he's going to tear that dancefloor to SHREDS

martha and kurt look up to him since they have also served in the military, he finds them endearing but he would never say that out loud smh

martha is like a little sister to him, they work out together and share food during lunchtime

and now it's time for (drum roll) FOOD HEADCANONS WOO

naib's metabolism is very fast and he loves to eat, too - he's not a picky eater and he bonds with his homeland via its food

after having to survive off of cold canned food in the army he's having the time of his life enjoying freshly-made warm meals

however he can munch on plain cheese and bread too, no problem

even though he loves sweet and savory, comforting food he likes his coffee bitter

his favourite general foods are anpan, gimbap and strawberry shortcake, and out of the national foods of his homeland he loves thukpa the most because it's hearty and reminds him of his mother and how she used to cook it for him

if you're going to sneak into the kitchen for a midnight snack there's a 60/40 chance that you'll find him searching the fridge before you could even think of getting food

not the best cook himself though but he loves helping out in the kitchen as much as he can

naib has a very small circle of friends and people he feels comfortable enough with to casually talk or vent to, mostly other veterans like william, emily and martha

once naib warms up to people and opens up (on rare occassions), he shows his sweeter side, he's quite timid in reality and has trouble verbalizing how much he cares for the other residents in fear that they'll think he's weak and that others might manipulate him if he shows any sign of vulnerability

his daring yet serious persona was actually kind of created back when he first started serving to protect himself from the world and harm that might come his way

prone to overthinking his life especially during the dark, sleepless nights, he always feels guilty of choosing this job for himself and regularly writes letters for his mother and the rest of his family, hoping that they'll reach her one day

-Do you know how hard it is to get close to this man right away? So hard. You might be tempted to think he hates you at first.

-He’s like a really angry cat. He looks nice from far away but the minute you step too close, he will run away.

-But give him some space and time to observe you first and he’ll open up just enough to let you inside after he knows how genuinely kind you are.

-While you may initially worry about him, he assures you that you need to look out for yourself first. He is 100% all for self care and making sure self needs are met first. He will occasionally check in with you during the day to make sure you’ve eaten and drank enough water as well.

-If you ever cook for him, he will absolutely fall head over heels. He appreciates any food given to him but from you? It would be all the more special, especially if you ever made dal bhat. It’s simple but he loves it.

-He’d return the favor by taking you on walk while it’s raining. It’s a gloomy sight to some but he finds beauty and calm in the quiet whispers of the rain and hopes you’ll come to see it the same way too.

-His nickname for you is “my happy one” or “my happiness.” He’s not one to feel much anymore but when he sees you, he sees nothing but pure happiness radiating from you which fills him with a sense of comfort every time he’s with you.

-He’s more of a listener than a talker. He loves to hear you talk about your day and watching how expressive you get when talking about what made you the happiest that day.

-But if you’re not feeling all that well, he’ll get you a blanket and something to drink and stay by your side until you feel well enough again. Headpats included.

-He knows how strong you are and rarely ever had to rescue you but on the off chance you get chaired? He is there in a flash. You’re worth the risk. And besides, he’ll see you again at the manor soon so don’t worry about him. Keep being strong even if he’s away.

-At the end of the day, he’s a long game kind of guy should you ever want to be close to him. You have to wait for him to slowly open up to you.

-He’s not the best at communicating but if you give him a chance, he’ll treasure you until his very last breath.
