With prompt what the fuck is a baby shower?????. Could you write a blurb where Natasha has no clue what a baby shower is?

"When will your shower be?" Wanda asked curiously as you both flipped through baby magazines on the couch. You took a sip of your tea thoughtfully. 

“I’m not sure, but we should probably start planning,” you chuckled. “I’m already a few months along.” 

“You’re more than that,” she chuckled, standing and grabbing a few magazines. “I’m going to flip through these in the bath.”

“Have fun,” you smiled, grabbing another magazine in front of you. It seemed that as soon as she left, Natasha made her way in.

“Hey, baby,” she murmured, bending down to kiss your lips before pressing a kiss to your growing belly. “Why was Wanda asking when you were going to shower?”

“The baby shower,” you answered, turning the page in your magazine. 

“Baby shower? What the fuck is a baby shower?”

At that, you tore you gaze away from the pictures to your wife’s face. “What do you mean what is a baby shower? It’s a baby shower, you know, to prepare for the baby. We get gifts for the baby.”

“Is this a common thing?” Nat asked, looking on in disbelief. 

“Yes, babe, it is,” you chuckled, leaning over to kiss her again. “We need to start planning for it, so grab a magazine.”

“I don’t need a magazine to tell me what our baby needs,” she scoffed. 

“No,” you laughed. “Not for gifts, for the theme, Natasha.”

“The theme!?”

“Yes, we need a theme. I was thinking of some colors and such and perhaps a theme based on the due date, but I want to hear your ideas first,” you admitted, reaching over to take her hand in yours. 

“The baby is going to be born near Halloween,” your wife said, giving you a look. You bit your bottom lip to keep from smiling. “Oh no.. if you tell me this is a Halloween themed shower-”

“Please,” you begged. 

“No. I will read through all of these magazines and hundreds more to find a theme that is not Halloween.”

The Baby’s Coming- Sneak Peek

A/N: so, as figured by the timeline, the new baby in the “Your Family” series is to be born November 2! I’ve been working on this fic for a few days now, and here’s a sneak peek!

You hung the ornament on the tree, joy rushing through you, as well as a stab of pain. 

“Ow,” you muttered, a hand falling to your stomach. 

“Y/N?” Natasha’s voice was filled with panic, more so than it ever had been. You were so close to your due date that every noise you made had her panicked. 

“It’s fine, the baby’s been kicking extra hard lately,” you responded. The pain had gone as quickly as it had come. Natasha was the furthest thing from convinced. 

“I think you should sit down.” “But you just let me get up,” you whined. Your wife rolled your eyes.

“Mom, what happens if the baby is coming?” Dominika asked. “Will it hurt a lot?”

“It hurts,” you admitted,  “but in the end, it’s all worth it and the pain doesn't seem as bad.”

Your daughter was troubled with your answer. 

“How will you know when the pain is bad enough to say you’re having the baby?” she continued. Natasha set to answering her, while you gave attention to your son, who had wrapped his arms around you.

“I don’t want you to hurt, Mommy,” Nikolus nearly whispered. 

“I wish I didn’t have to be in pain either, boo,” you answered, your tone light. “But, guess what?” 

“What?” he answered. 

“I forget all about the hurt right after.”
