Reflecting back on this date two years ago, I released my third album, NOVA 🎶. At that time, I was working on it while dealing with the challenges of securing enough money to rent a place with my partner and managing my music business from a shelter bunk. It was a difficult period, but creating this album served as an aural escape from the instability of 2020 🎧.

Now, in my junior year of college, I'm working on new music, some of which will be released this year. Looking back, NOVA is my most successful album to date, and features several of my best performing songs in my entire career🎉. I'm grateful for the evergreen support of my listeners, which has encouraged me to continue making the art that we all enjoy 💙.

The album is dedicated to my grandmother Wilma and my great aunt Vickie, who passed away towards the end of the album's production. Their wisdom and grace continue to guide me in my life and music 🕊️.

Hey, Nctrnm Tribe, I'm thrilled to announce my new project, FLUX, an EP of songs that show my journey as a musician. It features Xeoul (fka Alpharaoh) 💙, my buddy and recent collaborator ☺️ ️. Making FLUX was about following my instincts and letting your creativity flow without pressure or constraints. ✨

I had a project called LIMINA earlier this year, which was based on the feedback I got for the four singles that dropped last year. LIMINA was supposed to capture the vibe of transitioning between two life phases. But as I worked on it, I realized it wasn't me. It felt too stiff and fake, and that's not how I make music. 🤔

So, I ditched LIMINA and started fresh with FLUX, a more real expression of who I am and where I am now, in a state of flux. Flux means change or flow, and that's what these songs are about. They reflect the changes I've gone through and the ones I'm still going through as a person and musician. Some songs are old (2019, TRACES era), and some are new (this summer), but they all have a common theme of being in FLUX and the feelings that come with being between stages. 🎶

I hope you dig listening to FLUX as much as I dug into making it. It's been a hard and rewarding journey, and I'm so thankful for your support and feedback. Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks soon! 😊
