"Did Meghan and Harry buy in Montecito? Sources point to $14.65-million estate"
By NEAL J. LEITEREG,

Meghan and Harry have quietly moved up the coast, buying a home in the Santa Barbara area, sources told The Times.
Prince Harry and the former Meghan Markle have purchased a home in the heart of Montecito, according to people familiar with the matter who weren’t authorized to speak publicly.
Tabloids first reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were relocating to the exclusive, celebrity-filled coastal community tucked between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains — but offered few details.
Area real estate agents point to a $14.65-million estate, which closed in an off-market sale in June. Tax records for the 7-acre property, which was listed last year for $34 million, match limited liability companies previously created by the Duchess of Sussex, according to records obtained by The Times.
Built in 2003, the sprawling estate is hedged and gated from the street and reached by a winding drive paved with hand-cut, locally sourced stone. Beyond the vine-covered entry is a coffered-ceiling living room, a billiards/game room, a home theater, spa facilities, an elevator and a gym.
There are nine bedrooms in the roughly 14,500-square-foot main house. A two-bedroom guesthouse, a teahouse, a tennis court, a swimming pool and a custom jungle gym are among amenities on-site.
The seller was a limited liability company tied to Russian investor Sergey Grishin, records show. Grishin is the former owner of another Montecito mansion, the so-called Scarface estate.
The move wraps up a yearlong saga for the royal couple, which kicked off in January when the pair announced they would “step back as ‘senior’ members of the royal family and become financially independent.”
Vowing to split time between Britain and North America, they cited space to raise their son Archie, who was born in May 2019, as a primary reason for the highly scrutinized move.
They spent the first few months of the year on Vancouver Island, Canada, reportedly living in a French-inspired mansion worth roughly $14 million, with plans to eventually move to L.A. The coronavirus outbreak accelerated those plans, and in March, they moved temporarily into Tyler Perry’s place in Beverly Hills to quarantine.
Spanning 22 acres in Beverly Ridge Estates, the dramatic Tuscan-style estate holds eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms — a bit bigger than their new place in Montecito.
However, the retreat didn’t bring the privacy they were hoping for. In July, Harry and Meghan filed a harassment lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, alleging that unnamed paparazzi were flying drones overhead and cutting holes in the fence to photograph their family.
Compared with densely packed L.A., Montecito and the neighboring communities of Santa Barbara and Hope Ranch have long served as a quiet, scenic, spread-out haven for those who can afford it.
There’s a price for privacy, however. Zillow puts Montecito’s median home value at $3.276 million, more than quadruple L.A.'s median home value of $752,000.
Over the years, celebrity residents in the area have included Beach Boys member Mike Love, “Sopranos” star Michael Imperioli and actor Rob Lowe, who put his 3.4-acre estate in Montecito on the market for $47 million in 2018. Jeff Bridges sold his vineyard estate there for $15.9 million in 2017, and this summer, Ellen DeGeneres sold an English Tudor-style house to pop star Ariana Grande for $6.75 million.
Oprah is perhaps the area’s most famous owner. She dropped $50 million on a 42-acre spread known as the “Promised Land” in 2001 and has since been snatching up properties across the community, including a nearby horse farm that she bought at auction for $28.95 million in 2015.

Taylor Swift has made another move in Beverly Hills, selling a Midcentury Modern-style home for $2.65 million. Earlier this year, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter sold another house on the same street for $4 million.
The Midcentury house, a post-and-beam design dating to 1959, was used for guests during Swift’s ownership, which spanned about six years. The other property — a country-vibe estate set on more than half an acre — had been her main residence.
Tumblr media
Built-in bookshelves flank a fireplace in the living room, which has a view of the swimming pool. (Sotheby's International Realty)
The single-story house she just sold had been extensively updated and has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in 2,950 square feet of interior space. Among features are beamed ceilings, walls of windows and a 1,000-bottle climate-controlled wine cellar. A large skylight floods the entry with natural light.
The living and dining rooms take in views of the leafy backyard, which holds a lagoon-style swimming pool. A cozy breakfast booth with built-in seating and bookshelves adjoins the kitchen area.
Decking and a central courtyard create additional living space outside.
Drew Mandile, Dean Mandile and Brooke Knapp of Sotheby’s International Realty were the listing agents. Stephen Estes of Metropolitan International Realty represented the buyer.
Swift, among the bestselling music artists of all time, has 10 Grammys to her name, including two for album of the year ("Fearless" and "1989"). Last year the 28-year-old released "Reputation," which in March became her sixth album to sell 2 million copies in the U.S.

Actor eyes sale in the sky
Actor and playwright Matthew Perry has put his penthouse at the Century building in Century City on the market for $35 million.
The roughly 9,300-square-foot residence, dubbed the “Mansion in the Sky,” takes up an entire floor in the 42-story high-rise designed by Robert A.M. Stern. It features four bedrooms, an expansive living room, a custom screening room and a center-island kitchen. Four private terraces give way to panoramic views in every direction.
A curving wall of floor-to-ceiling windows in the re-imagined master bedroom centers on the L.A. cityscape. The over-the-top suite is complete with dual bathrooms, walk-in closets and a plush sitting area with a fireplace.
Perry, 49, is selling because he is now spending more time on the East Coast and in Malibu. The television, film and stage actor is best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the beloved sitcom “Friends.”
Called "Mansion in the Sky," Matthew Perry's Century City penthouse has about 9,300 square feet of living space, a custom screening room and a center-island kitchen. Perry purchased the residence in the Century building two years ago and worked with architect Scott Joyce and designer LM Pagano to transform the living spaces. New details include subdued colors, textured accents and modern fixtures. The screening room is awash in a plush material.

King’s new court in Encino
Basketball veteran Zach Randolph has yet to find a team for the upcoming NBA season, but he has found a new home. A corporate entity tied to the two-time All-Star has paid out $5.195 million for a brand new mansion in Encino, records show.
In addition to an 8,200-square-foot home, the half-acre lot holds a swimming pool, a cabana with a bathroom, a fire pit lounge, an outdoor kitchen, an herb garden and a basketball court.
A vast open floor plan full of clean lines, white walls, light hardwood floors and pocketing doors anchors the three-story interior. A 300-bottle wine cellar sits at the center, and surrounding it are a chandelier-topped dining room, living room with a fireplace and custom kitchen with a split-level island.
A 17-year veteran, Randolph was drafted by the Trail Blazers in 2001 and named the league’s Most Improved Player three years later. He also spent time with the Knicks, Clippers, Grizzlies and Kings, for whom he last played in the 2017-18 season.
Custom-built in 2019, the three-story home expands to a fenced backyard with a pool, cabana, fire pit and basketball court.

Hungry for a sale
After seven years, Josh Hutcherson is ready to part with his perch in the Hollywood Hills. The “Hunger Games” star just listed his Midcentury-style treehouse for $3.495 million — roughly $1 million more than he paid in 2012.
Built in 1951, the zen-like hideaway has drawn a few stars over the years; previous owners include Ellen DeGeneres and late actor Heath Ledger. Brick staircases and terraced gardens approach the home, which holds two bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,861 square feet.
A bastion of Midcentury style, the interior combines polished concrete floors, beamed ceilings, white-painted brick and other natural textures. The space opens outside to a treetop deck with a sunken conversation pit, dining area and screening room.
Hutcherson, 26, starred as a child in the films “Little Manhattan,” “Bridge to Terabithia” and “The Polar Express” before more recent roles in “The Hunger Games” and “Future Man.” Later this year, he’s set to appear in James Franco’s “The Long Home.”
Built in 1951, the single-story dwelling features an expansive treetop deck with a sunken conversation pit and screening room.

Film exec finds buyer
It’s a wrap in Brentwood, where film executive and producer Nina Jacobson has sold her chic Midcentury Modern home for $6.925 million.
Built in the 1950s and remodeled by designer Jamie Bush, the single-story home sits on a flat half-acre lot with a swimming pool, retro pavilion, gardens and lots of grass. Intersecting beams top a courtyard with a pond out front, leading into 3,652 square feet of clean lines and glass walls.
Concrete floors, walnut built-ins and mosaic tiles adorn the indoor-outdoor living spaces. A floor-to-ceiling fireplace separates a pair of lounges, and there’s also a sunny breakfast nook and wood-covered kitchen.
Jacobson served as president of Disney’s Buena Vista Motion Pictures Group before founding her own production company, Color Force, in 2007. The studio’s films include “The Hunger Games,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” “Ben is Back” and the upcoming Richard Linklater film “Where’d You Go, Bernadette.”
Built in 1950, the single-story home features clean lines, walnut built-ins, walls of glass and mosaic tile across 3,652 square feet.

Actress’s Bell Canyon compound
“Claws” star Niecy Nash is looking to nail down her second home sale this year. Months after Nash sold her Northridge home, the actress put her Bell Canyon compound on the market for $1.249 million.
The tree-filled property holds a contemporary-style main residence, a guest studio and gym, a gazebo, a swimming pool and spa with a diving board and a three-car garage. A series of decks, terraces and patios take in the scenery.
Inside, a rounded, split-level floor plan features walls of picture windows and vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. A total of four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms are within 3,217 square feet of living. During Nash’s stay, one of the bedrooms was converted into a boutique-like dressing room with built-in seating and a chandelier.
Nash, 49, has received Emmy Awards as host of the Style network show “Clean House” and for her role on the HBO show “Getting On.” Her other credits include the shows “The Soul Man,” “Scream Queens” and “Reno 911!”
Actress Niecy Nash is asking $1.249 million for her Bell Canyon home, which sits on about three-quarters of an acre. Besides the four-bedroom main house, the property features a swimming pool, a gazebo and ample patio space. A blanket of mature landscaping engulfs the 3,217-square-foot house.

From the archives
Thirty years ago, the former Mulholland Drive home of silver screen star Errol Flynn was torn down to make way for a new 14,000-square-foot mansion. Flynn had installed one-way mirrors in the ceiling of the home to spy on his famous guests. It was later owned by pop star Ricky Nelson.
It was 20 years ago that “ER” star Anthony Edwards wrapped up a major renovation of his oceanfront home in the Capistrano Beach area of Dana Point. The Mission-style house was among four built by oil baron Edward Doheny in 1928. Architect John McInnes, who designed homes for Kevin Coster and Alex Trebec, handled the restoration.
Ten years ago, Hugh Hefner and his then-wife, Kimberley, sold the house next door to the Playboy Mansion for $18 million. The Holmby Hills estate, designed by Arthur R. Kelly, was built in 1929 for the sister of Arthur Letts Jr., the original owner of the Playboy Mansion. The buyer, entrepreneur Daren Metropoulos, would buy the Playboy Mansion nearly a decade later in one of L.A. County’s largest home sales historically.
What we’re reading
Hitler’s birth home is changing hands after a yearslong legal dispute, NPR reports. The three-story structure in the town of Braunau am Inn — where Adolf Hitler was born in 1889 — has been purchased by the Austrian government, which had been attempting to seize the property with plans to renovate since 2016. The compensation price, as decided by the country’s Supreme Court: $908,000.
After President Trump tweeted that Baltimore is a “rat and rodent infested mess,” a real estate agent in the area capitalized on the attention by adding a rat mascot to her listing photos, reports CBS Baltimore. The life-size pest is seen throughout the two-story traditional posing with the city’s flag, playing Twister, doing pull-ups and sporting a Ravens jersey.

Iconic ‘Brady Bunch’ house goes on the market after nearly 50 years
LOS ANGELES – It’s a home so famous it has its own Yelp page, and now the television home of the beloved sitcom “The Brady Bunch” is for sale.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence that was used for exterior shots during the filming of the classic show, which ran from September 1969 to March 1974, still has a meticulously-maintained 1970s feel inside.
From the MusiCall intercom system with its golden knobs, to the floral wallpaper and stone fireplace, it looks like “The Brady Bunch” interior scenes could easily have been filmed inside 11222 Dilling St., instead of at a Los Angeles studio.

The house, which is located along the Los Angeles River near the Colfax Meadows neighborhood, is listed at $1.885 million. The current owners bought the property for $61,000 in 1973, according to purchase records.
Ernie Carswell, the listing agent for real estate firm Douglas Elliman, told the Los Angeles Times that they are bracing for a flood of interest, and will only be showing the home on an appointment basis in an attempt to separate the buyers from the curious.

“We’re preparing for an avalanche,” Carswell said. “Emails, telephone calls — we may see upwards of 500 calls a day.”
Despite the attention the house is destined to get, Carswell said they won’t jump on the first big offer, especially if it’s from a developer who’s more interested in tearing down and rebuilding on the over 12,500-foot lot.
“We’re going to wait a few days, in case there are others who want to purchase it as an investment to preserve it,” Carswell said.

Even though Hollywood makes L.A. and environs a celebrity magnet, not all the big real estate action plays out within the City of Angels. This week’s selection includes California deals of note in the O.C. and San Jose.

Plenty of room for Madea
Actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry has purchased a home in gated Mulholland Estates for $14.5 million through a corporate entity.
The modern house, built in 1992, sits on more than 4 acres. Steel beams and walls of tempered glass form the shell of the home, which features overlapping slabs of marble and floating staircases.
Pyramid-shaped skylights and angled ceilings bring light into the 17,245 square feet of living space. Interiors include living and dining rooms, a media room, an office/den, seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
A resort-style swimming pool, a stream-fed koi pond and a tennis court complete the grounds. Party ready, the motor court off the entrance has space for more than 30 vehicles.
Perry, 47, is known for his recurring role as Madea in such films as “Diary of a Mad Black Woman,” “Madea’s Witness Protection” and “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Neighbors From Hell.”
He created the television shows “House of Payne” and “If Loving You Is Wrong,” now in its fourth season.

Hepburn’s playground
Katharine Hepburn’s onetime summer retreat in Old Saybrook, Conn., has sold for $11.5 million. We can just picture the four-time Academy Award winner curled up in a chair at the front window watching a storm blow in across Long Island Sound.
The 8,400-square-foot Colonial-style home was built for the actress in 1939 and used by the “African Queen” star for decades as a family retreat.
Encompassing 1.5 acres, the waterfront estate centers on a renovated three-story home with seven fireplaces, six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. Some 220 feet of beachfront, a dock and a pond complete the grounds.

Back at the ranch
Actor Johnny Depp hasn’t found a buyer for his Kentucky horse farm, currently listed at $2.9 million, so he’s put it up for auction Sept. 15.
Set outside Lexington, the property centers on a 1915 brick residence with six bedrooms and 5,944 square feet of living space.
There’s also a guest house, three barns, 15 stalls and 10 watered paddocks for horses. Four cars or tractors can fit into the oversized garage.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, a Kentucky native, bought the farm for $950,000 in 1995, sold it for $1 million in 2001 and then bought it back for $2 million in 2005.

Hot Property: Hits and misses
Not everyone blasts it out of the park when it comes to making a profit on a home sale. The cyclical nature of the housing market and having overpaid in the first place are among factors that can leave some sellers upside-down on a property.
This week’s offerings include a rapper who has had plenty of hits but now must take a hit, and a pro baseball player who scores a loss.
Still churning out the instant classics, however, is Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie. His Westside house went from listed to sold at a profit in less than a month.
Once you’re done checking out these star-studded transactions, visit and like our Facebook page, where you can find Hot Property stories and updates throughout the week. That’s also a fine place to leave a tip about a celebrity home deal.
– Neal J. Leitereg and Lauren Beale
Going his own way
It took just three weeks for Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie to sell his home in Brentwood for its asking price of $2.995 million. He had bought the 1920s house three years ago for $2.535 million.
McVie wasn’t the property’s first resident of fame. The Spanish-style house was briefly home to crime novelist-screenwriter Raymond Chandler in the early 1940s.
Set on a tree-lined street, the 2,200-square-foot house features original details, interior arches and French doors that open to the grounds. There are two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
A newer guesthouse/studio has heated concrete floors and walls of glass.
McVie, 71, joined Fleetwood Mac in the late 1960s and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the band. “Go Your Own Way,” “Rhiannon” and “Don’t Stop” are among their hits.
Chandler, who died in 1959 at 70, is known for his detective fiction writing. Among his works are “The Big Sleep,” “Farewell, My Lovely” and “The Long Goodbye.”

Rapper to take a hit
Detroit rapper Eminem is looking for a buyer for his 5.7-acre compound in Oakland Township, Mich., and he’s not afraid to take a hit on the low price tag of $1.999 million.
He bought the house in 2003 for $4.8 million.

Hot Property: Outta this world
It’s not every week one reports on a $350-million home listing. In fact, this is the first time we’ve ever been able to do that. Chartwell, the estate of late Univision chairman Jerrold Perenchio, has come on the market as the most expensive residential listing in the U.S.
Set on 10 acres in Bel-Air, the 25,000-square-foot main house is surrounded by manicured gardens, a guesthouse, a swimming pool and a pool house.
But it’s not the only mega-manse moving to market. Owlwood, the onetime Holmby Hills home of superstar Cher, among others, has re-entered the fray at $180 million — twice what it sold for last year.
Too rich for your blood? Keep reading. We’ve stacked this week’s notable properties in order of descending price.
Once you’re done checking out these star-studded transactions, visit and like our Facebook page, where you can find Hot Property stories and updates throughout the week. That’s also a fine place to leave a tip about a celebrity home deal.

Shaving his price point
What price can you put on a dream?
For Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Costner, the amount just dropped from $60 million to $55 million. That’s the dollar figure he’s now asking for his 10-acre oceanfront spread in Carpinteria.
Costner purchased the freeway-close acreage about a decade ago with the vision of building his forever home there, but his plans have changed.
Set behind fences secured by cameras, the gently rolling bluff features 500 feet of oceanfront, a path to the beach and panoramic Pacific views. The Santa Barbara Mountains and islands are also visible from the equestrian property.
The actor has used the site for sports, a wedding and family enjoyment.
Costner, 62, won best picture and best director Oscars for “Dances With Wolves” (1990). This year he appeared in “Hidden Figures.”

The price of paradise
Oscar-winning director Mel Gibson discovered his 400-acre beachfront jungle getaway while scouting locations for his 2006 film “Apocalypto.”
Now the actor-director, known to roam the property with machete in hand, has put the retreat in Costa Rica up for sale at $29.75 million. He listed it three years ago at the same price.
Called Playa Barrigona, the estate includes three hilltop villas, a dining pavilion and more than two miles of coastline.
The courtyard-style main house features indoor and outdoor dining and living areas, seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. All the houses have swimming pools.
The neighbors include sea turtles, ocelots and howler monkeys.
Gibson, 61, won best picture and best director Oscars for “Braveheart” (1995).

He judged it satisfactory
Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and “The Voice” singing competition show has bought an estate in Holmby Hills for $18 million.
Built in 1966, the French Regency-style home sits on more than an acre of grounds along the Los Angeles Country Club.
Features of the 9,200-square-foot house include a garden-view breakfast solarium, five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.
A poolhouse, swimming pool, two-story guesthouse, three-car garage and gated motor court are within the fenced and gated grounds.

His own scene stealer
Jerry Zucker, the director of such film spoofs as “Airplane!” and “The Naked Gun,” has his longtime home in Brentwood on the market for $15.475 million.
Set behind gates in Mandeville Canyon, the 1.6-acre estate centers on a traditional-style home designed by Santa Monica architect John Byers. The 1939 house was later refinished by White House interior designer Michael S. Smith, who expanded the floor plan to 10,000 square feet.
Beyond the red front door, the stately two-story includes formal living and dining rooms, a center-island kitchen, a billiard room, an office/den, a gym, six bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.
Outside, mature trees provide cover for a large paver patio and alfresco dining area. A detached guest house, a greenhouse, a swimming pool, lawns and gardens complete the grounds.

Multimillion-dollar buffer zone
Amazon Chief Executive Jeff Bezos has expanded his footprint in Beverly Hills, buying a 1956 house on a half-acre lot that backs up to the Spanish-style estate he bought in 2007 for $24.45 million. Purchase price was $12.9 million.
Talk about a real-world firewall. The two properties total about 2.5 acres.
Tax records show the four-bedroom home has 4,586 square feet of interior space on one level.
Mature trees, patio space and a swimming pool fill the backyard. A motor court with two gated entrances marks the access to the property.
Bezos, 53, has a net worth of about $85 billion.

In case you missed it
When money’s no object, what must-have amenity do wealthy homeowners include? Safe, or panic, rooms are gaining ground on L.A.’s Westside. “You need to already be safe when you go to bed,” said Al Corbi, founder of Strategically Armored and Fortified Environments, which builds the heavily reinforced and secure spaces inside clients’ homes. “On average, it takes from seven to 10 seconds for a bad guy to travel from the break-in point to the master bedroom.”

Hot Property: Wait for it
The big real estate news out of Los Angeles is that rapper-magnate Jay-Z and superstar wife Beyoncé are in escrow to buy a mansion for $90 million. Their pick of Westside neighborhoods after years of house-hunting? Bel-Air. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as they have the keys to the newly built 30,000-square-foot home.
Southern California’s pricey real estate market continues to rack up noteworthy sales — particularly in the sought-after enclave of Malibu. Prices in the beach city are up 17% from last year, according to the latest data from CoreLogic. But not everyone is seeing a profit. Among recent sellers there to take a loss is billionaire David Geffen.
Meanwhile, in the San Fernando Valley, actresses Missi Pyle and Katie Wagner are seeking buyers.

Beachfront bargain?
Music and movie mogul David Geffen, fresh off the $85-million sale of his Malibu compound, just sold another home in the beach community. The Multiple Listing Service shows that the property, which he bought a decade ago for $9.8 million, went for just $8 million.
Geffen, creator of Geffen Records and co-founder of DreamWorks Studios, has an estimated net worth of $7.7 billion, according to Forbes. So we’re thinking the discrepancy between his buy and sell prices don’t amount to much overall.
The 1956 oceanfront home sits on “Billionaires’ Beach,” a stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway known for its ultra-wealthy homeowners.
Entered through a gated courtyard, the 1,473-square-foot house includes a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Glass doors in the dining area open to a surf-facing deck that overlooks 45 feet of beach frontage.
The high price of sand
International entrepreneur Ed Fishman, who co-founded the Access Records label with Dick Clark, has listed his home in Malibu’s Escondido Beach area for sale at $19.995 million.
Set on 80 feet of beachfront, the contemporary-style residence has walls of windows, an ocean-view wet bar and a spa. Wrap-around decking is lined with transparent guardrails for views of the surf and coastline.
The 6,100 square feet of living space holds a two-story living room, a separate dining room, an eat-in kitchen, a wine cellar, five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The media room is equipped with an overhead projector.
Fishman is known for his production of gaming events in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, N.J., and Monte Carlo, among others. As a producer of television and film, his credits include the game shows “Diamond Head” and “Dealer’s Choice.”

Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails has officially beat it out of the Beverly Hills Post Office area, selling his home for $5.3 million.
The musician, producer and film composer bought the modern estate a decade ago for $4.2 million.
Set behind large metal gates, the 4,320-square-foot house has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a vaulted-ceiling living room and a formal dining room.
An infinity-edge pool, lawns and an outdoor fireplace lie within more than half an acre of grounds. Views take in the cityscape and canyon areas.
Reznor, 52, founded the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails in 1988. Among the group’s hits are “Head Like a Hole, “The Perfect Drug” and “Closer.”

Loads of charm
Actress Missi Pyle has put a white-picket-fence home in Sherman Oaks on the market for $899,000.
Set up from the street, the crisp traditional was built in 1949 and has canyon, city and mountain views.
Hardwood and ceramic tile floors, arched doorways and plantation shutters are among features of the two-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom house, which has fireplaces in the living room and den.
Pyle, 44, has appeared in “As Good as It Gets” (1997), “Big Fish” (2003), “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” (2005) and “Gone Girl” (2014). This year she will be in the action-adventure flick “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” and the thriller “Traffik.”

Scene change for actress
Hollywood royal Katie Wagner has put her Valley Village home of more than a decade on the market for $1.199 million.
Tucked behind hedges and gates, the 1948 ranch house has classic curb appeal with crisp white siding, exposed brickwork and a red front door. Mature trees and palms provide shade for a sitting area in the frontyard.
Inside, the 2,018 square feet of living space has been updated with wide-plank oak floors. A sunroom, which adjoins the updated kitchen, takes in views of the swimming pool and three-quarter-acre yard.
Wagner, the daughter of actors Marion Marshall and Robert Wagner, got her start in show business in 1987 when she appeared alongside her father in the show “Born Famous.” The TV personality and entertainment reporter previously served as host of “Live From the House of Blues” and co-host of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.”
