Nestaq - FSOG version
Tumblr media
Borte is going to kill him.
sartaq wondered , if this meeting doesn"t go well. - more like proposition, he had to convince, no beg , if possible bribe , .
he striked out the last option ,
in his brain's grey matter. anyone who relatively know The person he's going to meet , will consider that a sour option. and they are not remotely wrong, not even close.
Nesryn sayed Faliq, the CEO of the Royal blue,, her name alone gives you blank checks from distributors, She is ruling international market since, last 2 years, highest amount of time - anyone is present there. within 7 years , her investment returned doubled, for every bargain she made , every company she acquired ,
every project she took over as an employee before becoming the Ruler.
she changed the phase of Adarlan. under her leadership royal blue acquired almost every thing ranging from steele factories , mica products , refineries, furnishig , clothing lines , jewellery like platinum , with rare crystalls

he entered the office , he was checked by a man in black suit , he pressed the lift button ' 16' , and 3rd top most floor in the office, there a man in black suit with a red tie and cool shades requested him politely to remove his shoes [ an asian tradition to not bring shoes to work zones or personal office] , and when he passed through the metal ditector his watch was taken from him , and a recording mike was fixed to his collar. he again met another 2 men in black , at the entrance of office door he wanted to wave at them , for bro code , but refrained, one of the grey suit wearing manager appeared from nowhere. and announced ' ms faliq will see you noW'. breathing deeply he opened the

door and fell on his front as his foot caught in the carpet, spread out in the vast room. he immediately rolled on to his back . he can see the false ceiling which is filled with dark green blocks with golden LED lights. the design created an illusion, it looked so endearing yet simple , you can see the precision and focus put into it. he can't accurately describe it , but fine . A voice called out for him, no a woman's voice echoed in his subconscious waking him gently from his unaware semiconsciousness, as he refocused his eyes, he saw a pair of crystal onyx eyes, which were looking at him curiously, oh the open sky , she has a beautiful face , gorgeous is the only word he could find, she's no 50 yeard old lady with a cane , she' s not a year older than 25. Men have gone to war in the past to possess a woman with such a magnetic aura.

Venus Ishtar Neith, 2018 by Daniel Mirante Atelier.
On November 8th, Venus enters Libra (until December 4th).
Venus is the planetary ruler of Taurus and Libra. Taurus, an earth sign, wants to build, while Libra, as an air sign, critiques. As the airy part of Venus, Libra uses words and artistry to express themselves.
Via combusta, which is known as the “fiery path,” is a point between 15 degrees of Libra and 15 degrees of Scorpio. This intensifies the energy. The caveat is that 23 degrees Libra is a very auspicious degree, because the benefic fixed star Spica is positioned there. This year, Venus in Libra will be via combusta from November 24 to December 4, except for November 28 when Venus aligns with Spica. Therefore, we can expect to have erratic and compulsive romantic tendencies from November 24 to December 4, except until November 28, which brings us luck and abundance in love.
Venus Ishtar Neith Puja
The Aeon VENUS arises from the ocean flecked with primal foam
like a boiling star she rises in screaming fury and loving laughter
brightest star, veiled with the patterns of eternal sacred geometry
outstanding her face blazes like a new sun
lightning pours from her tongue and boils clouds of dew in the air
clear vision her eyes are rainbows
from her heart flocks of birds fly to new skies
and from her crown arrows terminate erroneous forms
her feet stamp upon the coiling bones of false promises
Neith sets herself upon the vault of the sky
and mortals wax and wane to her journeys in the land of the celestial dominions
and meets her consort, the Red God, to discipline and free each other
kingdoms and mountains melt at her passing
and deserts wax with new life and in time burn to ash
all earthly power is vanity to the holy fire of ISHTAR
trying to penetrate a mystery, earthly alchemists measure the patterns of her hems
earthly daughters take inspiration from her magic and woo the plants and animals
but nobody has ever understood NEITH, nobody has ever lifted her Veil.

[17] -- ANUKET
✦ TITLE: Lady Anuket -- The personified Goddess of the Nile River
✦ SACRED ANIMAL: The Gazelle ✦ DIVINE WEAPON: Bow and Arrow ✦ NOTABLE EPITHETS: "Lady of the Cataracts; The Embracer; The Giver of Life; The Woman Who Brings The Flood" ✦ PROFILE: https://deitiesproject.com/portfolio/anuket/
----------
Lady Anuket is the daughter of Khnum and the younger step-sister of Sobek. She serves alongside other river gods who include her brother and more.
Anuket is gifted at displaying refined and gracious manners among her peers, and fulfilling her duties to perfection. But this kind river goddess still maintains her boundaries and principles; it's best not to test her patience, nor to mistake her grace for being delicate.
DEITIES x OC_TOBER -- Deity Profiles [Full Character Lineup]
----------
The last-but-not-least goddess of the run, Anuket! Out of all the deities featured this month, I think Anuket has the most room for development, both with her character and with her artwork.
In fact, three of those pieces I shared above are all brand new, I just finished them all today 😂 I didn't want her post to be empty in comparison to everyone else okay-- All the more reason I'd like to revisit Anuket some more while exploring the project.
For now though, I have a better idea of her character than I did when I first drew her for inktober, and there's a lot to potentially work with for some time. I just enjoy the idea of a deity with a typical prey-animal form who's still able to kick away any predators or demons who try her -- albeit reluctantly, as she doesn't like to display this “less-than-graceful” side of herself 💦
Blanking a bit on fun facts, though I guess I can clarify why Sobek and Anuket are step-siblings (and/or adoptive… siblings…???). It's because in DEITIES -- so canon in project, not necessarily in the mythology -- they were each created by their respective creator-god parents; Neith created Sobek, and Khnum created Anuket. But they both still consider each other siblings, since their parents had wed each other some time later. With that said, hopefully I can draw the two river god siblings interacting another day, it’d be lots of fun /o/!!

Is there an Egyptian God or an Egyptian Goddess linked to archery ?
mmmm quite a few, i would think. we've got examples of horus and set teaching the king archery from the OK. i believe neith has ties to archery. i would say that sekhmet is, since she has "arrows", as does hathor. and by that extension, it wouldn't surprise me if all of the iyrt re have ties to archery due to their status as warrior and protector of re. and to that end, i'd expect most any deity with war associations will have archery in there somewhere.
i'm sure there are others that i'm missing. if anyone knows of others, feel free to add on to this post

The drawing was based on ancient Egyptian Goddess Neith who was associated with the spider because she was the weaver of destiny and was known for her hunting abilities with the bow and arrows (I made a simple apep on the tapestry, the giant serpent was one of her offspring) [her shield doesn't look like a shield tho ☹]

fuck with my muse // accepting!
@unlikelyandco asked:
40: poison my muse Neith and Mint for the 20%
Being hit by the arrow wasn’t as bad as the realisation itself of who had been the one to let it loose. Mint had caught sight of shimmering gold, instantly recognising the cloak as belonging to Neith, and as if on queue, the effect kicked in.
He felt cold. Cold to the point of feeling as if it was burning, travelling from his arm where the arrow had struck further through his body as the poison entered his artificial bloodstream, doing who knows what. Maybe it was supposed to reach his head, shut off his brain. Or maybe it was corrosive and it’d eat away at all his little circuits and wires until he lost control of his limbs. Mint yanked the arrow out, but it was much too late for any sort of action to be taken at this point.
Even though he couldn’t breathe in the first place, he felt artificial muscles in his throat tightening, giving an illusion realistic enough to trigger his body into panic -- a feeling which was only furthered by what were surely hallucinations. Shadows just out of the corner of his eye, whispers not too dissimilar to that of the Void, but...much more hostile feeling.
It was the poison. Definitely. There was no other explanation. But that didn’t stop Mint from jerking his head around on occasion in an attempt to catch sight of what it could be. ...What if it was actually Neith?
Breathe. Calm down. But he couldn’t breathe.
Mint collapsed, catching himself on his hands and knees-- had his legs given out because of the poison? Who knew. Green blood oozed like sap down his arm, dripping, dripping, dripping onto the ground. Every noise sounded simultaneously too loud yet too distant to make out. Was someone talking to him?
An attempt to push himself up was made, but he only ended up stumbling, landing on the ground and curled up into a ball, limbs occasionally spasming. His vision flickered in and out, optics flashing in a pulse, a desperate attempt to keep him awake and alert. Something was wrong with him, but he couldn’t quite figure out what. All he knew for sure was that he was scared. Mint wanted nothing more than company beyond the shadows-- he was so cold--

Future and past crossroads- Neith
@cosmolumine
In a dimension where the worlds of Mass effect and SMITE have crossed, many gods have crossed to the Milky Way or Andromeda, many injured. One of them, Neith was fatally injured by Set and Eset. The evil siblings planned to kill Neith, shoving the defenseless archer goddess into a portal…
Neith screamed in agony as she landed on her broken arm, she weakly stood up and clutched it, trying to feel where the break was. She looked around and noticed nothing looked familiar to her. The archer goddess gritted her teeth. "Where am I?" She asked herself, the odd look of the planet worried Neith, this looked nothing like one of the planets she weaved and brought life to. She began to walk around, hoping to seek help for her arm and repair her bow and arrow. However, she soon heard footsteps, she turned quickly, a group of Kett were there, and they seeked blood. The goddess's eyes widen as the monsters began their march towards her, she cursed to herself and ran away, hoping to escape them. She tripped and fell to the ground again and got up, but this time there were more monsters. They were closing in, and the archer goddess could not run fast enough to avoid being cornered. Soon laser blasts began to pepper the Kett, confusing Neith.
Ryder and Vetra kept firing bringing the Kett’s attention to them, Horus flew down to Neith’s side.
He asked, “Are you okay?”
Neith was shocked, “Horus? What are you doing here?”
The falcon god replied, “We will discuss that later, what matters now, is your arm.” Horus brought out a omnitool and used Medi-gel on Neith’s arm, lessening the pain. Neith was amazed by the orange hologram on Horus’s wrist.
She asked, “What is that glowing artifact Horus?”
Horus replied, “My new friends call it an Omni-Tool. It’s supposed to help with many things.” Neith was amazed by what she was hearing.
Ryder and Vetra fought the Kett until they all were destroyed, the pair soon caught up with Horus and Neith.
Ryder asked, “How’s her arm looking”
Horus deactivated his Omni-tool and replied, “I’ve lessened the pain but it’s definitely broken.” Ryder nodded at the Falcon God’s response.
Ryder turned to Neith, “I’m Pathfinder Ryder, I lead the Tempest, we’re going to bring you on the ship to patch you up.” Neith looked at Horus in an unsure manner.
Horus told her, “You can trust Pathfinder Ryder, he and his crew saved me after Set threw me into space.”
Neith relaxed and turned to Ryder, “Thank you Pathfinder Ryder.”
On the Tempest, Ahava placed a cast and more medi gel to Neith’s arm. While Gil and Liam worked to repair Neith’s bow. Neith stated, “I have to thank you, for what and your crew are doing”
Ahava smiled at the goddess, “No problem, Horus told me you’re a close friend of his. Anyone who’s a friend of his, is a friend of mine.” Neith smiled at the human teen’s comment. Once Ahava finished the medi-gel cast, Neith left the med bay, and went to see more of the ship. She was taken aback by the technology and futuristic look of the tempest. In one direction, there was a large bridge with chairs, consoles, and some kind of holo projectors. On another wall, there was another bridge leading to a different part of the Tempest. She walked across the bridge and saw the kitchen, the living quarters, and what she has heard Vetra and Kyle call the, “chill corner” which was actually the lounge. Neith entered the lounge, seeing the other tempest members hanging out. She felt awkward approaching them.
She decided to ask about them, “What brings you all here?”
Gil, who was watching television, said, “Well, we just finished a mission and felt like relaxing a bit.” Neith nodded and went to sit on one of the seats. She sat quietly observing the rest of the room, when she looked back at Gil she realized he was staring at her. He seemed surprised, and then started laughing while saying, “Sorry, I wasn’t expecting to see someone so beautiful sitting on my couch.”
Neith gave him a confused look as Ahava laughed, and Kyle commented, “Aw man, Gil! You made her blush!” Neith tried to get the color from her face, but it was too late, her cheeks were already turning gold. Cora rested her hand on Neith’s shoulder, causing the goddess to look at the human woman.
Cora stated, “Don’t worry about Gil, he gets like that sometimes.” Neith nodded as her blush faded and her cheeks cooled. She looked over at Kyle who was still laughing. Neith glared at Kyle who stopped laughing once he noticed Neith glaring at him. He coughed and continued watching the TV. Causing Vetra and Horus to laugh slightly. Kyle sighed heavily at the female Turian and the falcon god.
Vetra said, “You guys are such dorks, and so is he.”
Everyone chuckled at her remark, aside from Kyle, who was embarrassed by his turian girlfriend’s remark. Neith shook her head at the tempest crew. She was amazed by how laid back they were. The group joked among themselves while Neith watched them; she felt softened seeing the group together. Seeing how much they cared. She could see how much a weight had been lifted from Horus’s shoulders. She had always worried about him back in ancient Egypt, especially with how young he was, throwing himself into the war to stop Set. But here, he appeared less stressed and even appeared to smile more. And to be honest, she admired how much faith the Tempest crew had in each other, no matter what. She thought of something strange, when they had defeated the Kett soldiers and saved her.
As if reading Neith’s mind, Vetra said, “Something wrong, Neith?”
Neith responded, “I was wondering, why did you save me? You don’t know me, why did you go out of your way to save me?”
Vetra and Ryder shared a glance before replying, “Because, Horus considers you a close friend and confidant, and we trust his judgement.” Neith smiled at Horus, grateful to him.
Horus stated, “It is what crewmates do for each other. That’s why Ryder says.” Ryder snickered at Horus’s comment, earning a glare from the falcon god.
Neith thanked them again and said, “Thank you again everyone.” Everyone nodded and began to speak amongst themselves.
Neith looked down at her hand, the bones seemed to have healed completely, and she realised why, it was because of the Omnitool. She remembered how Horus had explained the device and she thanked him. She then asked Ahava to take the cast off, to which the teen medic agreed and carefully removed the cast, showing scars on her arm where it had been broken. Neith stated at the scars and caressed them, she hoped the Tempest crew would never have to fight Set. Soon Liam came and gave Neith her bow back. She thanked him and he nodded in response.
A few moments passed and everyone began getting ready to disembark from the Tempest. As everyone got ready to leave, Neith stood beside Ryder, he glanced down at the goddess and took notice of the scars on her forearm.
Ryder questioned, “How does it feel?”
Neith turned to the pathfinder and responded, “Better, much better. Still feels odd that a orange arti- Err, Omnitool, could easily heal things like this so quickly.”
Ryder responded, “It sure is amazing, we’re lucky to have the Omnitool, I don’t know what we’d do about it.” Neith smiled at the pathfinder, something felt, right about being near him, but Neith was unsure what that was. She tried to shake the thoughts and focus. She then felt Ryder grab her hand.
Neith blushed, she was not expecting him to touch her, she let go of the moment and grabbed her bag. They both left the Tempest and headed outside. The Tempest was taking a long break from travel and repairs, so the entire Tempest was covered in dust and debris. Jaal had told the group they could land on his home planet. Which Ryder was grateful for. Neith was amazed by the beauty of the Angaran home planet. It was a peaceful and quiet place filled with life. Jaal took note of the Goddess’s amazement.
The Angaran stated, “I see you like my home world.” Neith nodded at the Angaran and walked over to Ryder, who was speaking to a Angaran shopkeeper, he was purchasing materials. Once Ryder paid for the items,
Neith asked Ryder, “May I have a private word with you?” When she saw the concern in Ryder’s eyes, she reassured the pathfinder, “I’m okay, really.”
Ryder gave Neith a skeptical look, “Are you sure?”
Neith replied, “Yeah, I promise.” The human pathfinder gave in and followed Neith to a spot behind a tree.
Ryder asked,”So, what’s up?”
Neith rested a hand on Ryder’s wrist, activating the Omni-tool.
Neith stated, “I have to thank you and your crew so much for your kindness, kindness you not only showed me, but to Horus as well.” Ryder looked at the goddess with concern in his eyes,
He asked, “Why do you say that? We just helped someone who needed help. Besides, you don’t need to thank us. We all want to keep people safe, including yourself.”
Neith continued, “I want to show my gratitude by joining your group.” Ryder was surprised by Neith’s words, there was something about the archer goddess that he felt drawn to. There was something about her presence that drew him in. A warm feeling began spreading throughout his body. His heart rate increased. He found himself staring at her. Suddenly, he realized Neith was staring into his eyes. The two quickly stopped, and looked away from each other, their faces flush and hot. They both knew exactly what they were doing.
After a moment, Neith broke the silence,” I’m sorry,” she apologized softly. “That was not very nice of me. I will not stare like that or stare at you like that ever again.”
Ryder gulped slightly, but managed to get enough bearings to say, “It’s okay, and I would be happy to have you as a crew member on the Tempest.”
Neith smiled at him; he was beginning to understand her better than he thought he did. They spent another few minutes looking at each other’s smiling faces before they heard a voice calling out to them. They turned around and saw Cora running towards them. She shouted, “Oh, thank god! I couldn’t find you two.”
Ryder asked, “Everything alright?”
Cora replied, “Yeah, everything’s fine.” Cora paused before adding, “We’re all set to leave, come along.” As they followed Cora, Neith and Ryder kept exchanging glances. They soon got on the Tempest and took off. As they flew through the galaxy, the Tempest crew chatted amongst themselves, making comments on everything. Though they mostly focused on what Horus and Jaal were saying; about how the kidnappings of Angarans couldn’t have been a coincidence, especially with the danger the Kett brought. Ahava grew slightly nervous hearing about the Kett, Vetra and Kyle walked to their charge’s side and comforted her. Neith felt for the teen, she too sensed much suffering in her. Soon Horus came and wrapped a wing and a arm around Ahava.
He assured her, “Those creatures won’t hurt you ever again. They won’t get near enough to try.” Ahava nodded at the Falcon god. Neith smiled softly at the two’s interaction. She realized Vetra wasn’t joking when she had earlier mentioned to her there was something there between them.
Liam asked, “So, Neith, now that you’re apart of our crew, I’ll have to set you up with an Omni-tool.” Neith nodded at the human man. She went with him to get one. Once the Tempest was fully back in space, the crew returned to their quarters.
Ryder approached Neith, “Do you need help finding the guest space?” Neith nodded. Ryder led her to the Guest space and opened the door.
Neith stated, “Thank you Ryder.”
Ryder smiled, “You’re welcome.” Once Ryder left, Neith looked at the room, and saw Horus sleeping on one of the beds. She went to a back area of the room and removed her armor and put pajamas on. She went to one of the beds on the left side and laid on it. It didn’t take long before tiredness over took her and just as she was about to sleep, she heard the door open. Neith turned and saw A scared Ahava approaching Horus. The archer goddess watched as Ahava gently shook Horus awake.
Horus groaned slightly as he woke up, he turned and saw Ahava. He asked, “Are you alright?” Ahava shook her head at the falcon god.
She said, “I-I had another nightmare. Th-this one was different… The Kett they-“ She broke down and cried. Horus pulled Ahava close and wrapped his wings around her, as she cried in his arms. Horus felt intense anger as he thought about what the Kett had done to her. How dare they hurt such a sweet and kind hearted girl? He held her tightly. He could never imagine how much Ahava must have suffered on her planet, watching the Kett destroy the place and kill her parents. Her face was completely covered in tears, she still remembered her dream vividly. Horus felt her cry harder into his neck and hugged her tighter. Her tears rolled down Horus’s bare, feathered chest, many of them soaking his shendyt, but the falcon god didn’t care, his priority was Ahava’s well-being. After a while she finally stopped crying and was resting in his lap. Horus looked at her and whispered, “Hey, are you okay?” She nodded.
She replied quietly, “I’ll be okay… I’m sorry I woke you.” Horus shook his head.
Horus smiled at her, “Don’t apologize for waking me when it’s important. You deserve to feel Safe.” Ahava blushed at his words. Horus gently rubbed her head, his talon fingers slowly going through her strands of hair. Horus rested his forehead on hers, “Get some rest okay.” Ahava nodded and curled herself up in Horus’s bed,
which made Horus chuckle softly at her adorable actions. After she settled in, she closed her eyes, Horus wrapped an arm, and his wings, around the small human teen. Horus whispered, “You’re safe, my princess.” Ahava snuggled into Horus’s chest and fell asleep. Horus caressed her back gently, soon he too went to sleep, still holding the teen close.
Neith was moved by what she had seen. She laid on her bed and thought about everything she had seen that day. She hoped it was a sign of better things from here on out. She drifted to sleep.

Neith: Egyptian creatrix deity and nurse of crocodiles. Mother of crocodilian deity, Sobek. Associated with weaving, arrows and war, she is said to have woven the world into existence. Here she is depicted as a spider--- not an ancient historical form, but in addition to her weaving ways, her name is also rendered as Net, hence why the spidery gestalt seems fitting to me --- launching an arrow strung with thread from her loom. Oil: Cecilia Rose Inkol, 2022.I also share some Neith-related poetry, derived from my Odin-Neith song (See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7qlS03pIJI ). It begins with an inscription that Plutarch (46 – 120 A.D.) recounts to be incised upon the Temple of Neith, in quotations, then leads unto my own poetic flourishes:
“I am all that has been
That is and that will be
No mortal has yet been able
To lift the veil that covers me.”
I am the oldest one,
Nurse of crocodiles
Weaving threads of war
Through conflicting worlds
I brought forth Ra, the sun
I invented shuttle and loom!
I wove the world into being!
I invented weaving!
Sobek is my son
I preside as judge
Over the other deities
I am creatrix!
War mediatrix!
Matrix of matrices!
Crocodilian mistress of the 7 seas!

The trouble maker princesses : Saera Targaryen and Daena Targaryen, in good old beautiful Egyptian fashion.
Saera is dressed basically like Anck Su Namun in The Mummy, with her skin painted with gold - and in the Targaryen context that painting job is made to look like dragon scales. She also has the attributes of the goddess Bast - a cat on her shoulder and a sistrum (music instrument in her hand) - since she's a performer. And her temper will be symbolized by her wearing the attribute of the goddess Serket on her head : a scorpion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the other hand Daena takes the attributes of the warrior goddess Neith : the red crown of lower Egypt, the bow and arrow, that she bears in her in her hand as well as in a stylised form on her chest (the crossed arrows and shield symbol she usually wears on on her head).

TOG Gods cards pt 1.
[ID: Two pictures of watercolor paintings. They are styled after tarot cards, including a golden border, with a thinner, colored inner border, and then a drawing inside. Each drawing is an original design of a god or goddess as mentioned in the Throne of Glass book series by Sarah J. Maas. Each one is associated with a color, which matches the inner border and also appears in swirls and patterns showing through their skin.]

Silba, the Goddess of Healing and Gentle Deaths.
[Image 1: A goddess associated with the color lavender. She sits in a chair in a round room (The Torre) which has brown walls and a window that sheds light on her. She wears a light purple wrap dress and has golden brown skin and hair, which is swept into a low bun. In one hand is a carafe of water, and the other wears Athril’s golden ring. Behind her is a light purple curtain and a line of silver bells. In the window is a barn owl.]

Neith, Goddess of Archery
[Image 2: A goddess associated with dark blue, standing with her body at an angle and holding a white bow and arrow. Behind her are the streets of Antica at night, with the Torre visible. The sky is blue with a waning crescent moon, and the buildings are gray and black. Neith has beige skin and chin length black hair. her outfit is a dark blue tunic with a black hood and leggings, and black straps and belt. The swirls in her skin resemble archery gloves. End ID.]
