The World Championship in Biathlon 2024 just finished up today! Congrats to France for being the best nation, Norway for getting the most medals, and Sweden for taking their first ever gold medal in a biathlon world championship 🥳✨

“Incantation” as a movie gets 100/10 stars for creating an original form of ritualistic worship/magic that isn’t shitty and cliched while still drawing heavily on folklore and wide reaching symbolism. I LOVE the incorporation of “giving your name” and what it means.

I’d say it ranks about a 6/10 on the dead dove scale so proceed with caution (if you’re trypophobic… maybe don’t). I’m also a slut for found footage films and this one does it extremely well (there’s a few like “ok would they really be filming now” moments but the ending sorta explains it).

Seriously though if you’re at all a fan of horror/magic/cults, give it a watch, it wad the highest grossing Taiwanese film of 2022, and it’s on N*tflix.
