This, is Gordon Nobili, better known as Lineage, and statistically, you probably have never heard of him
Tumblr media
Gordon was one of the many humans that found themselves inside cocoon's after Black Bolt detonated a terrigen bomb, releasing a cloud of terrigen that travelled across the planet.
Lineage is legitimately one of the coolest concepts in the Marvel universe, and I never see anyone bring him up, not surprising as he's another victim of Marvel refusing to see the potential of all characters they created during the inhuman push of the 2010s.
Tumblr media
Lineage has the power of summoning on his body the souls of dead members of his, well, lineage, using them to talk to and seek advice from, a power that he takes advantage of on top of his knowledge as a former mob boss to manipulate other nuhumans to do his bidding.
Tumblr media
Anything a soul he summons knows, he knows, a man with generations upon generations of knowledge across the entire length of human history, Lineage should be feared, by inhuman and human alike, because wisdom and knowledge when used for evil, are the most dangerous tools there are.

What do you think Luna’s mutant/superhero name would be?
Realistically, I think she'd probably just go by Luna. For one thing, she's not a mutant. Inhumans don't typically use codenames or supehero monikers-- the Nuhumans like Ms. Marvel or Inferno, who were born and raised on Earth, do, but those who were raised in Inhuman culture don't. "Crystal", "Medusa", and "Black Bolt" are all shortened version of those characters’ full names-- "Crystalia", "Medusalith", "Blackagar Boltagon", etc.
If you want to lean into her magical ancestry, Luna is also a suitably mystical-sounding name. Otherwise, I'd probably look for short, simple word for "witch," similar to Billy's "Wiccan"-- Wanda gets the full title of Scarlet Witch, but the kids get simpler names. Maybe something like "Seer," if you wanted to expand her abilities into scrying and clairvoyance?

365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…
Team Supplemental - The Inhumans
Millions of years ago, scientists from the space-faring Kree Empire came to earth where they conducted experiments on prehistoric early homosapians; all as part of an effort to create biological weapons for their centuries-long war with the Skrulls.  A small collection of these early humans were collected and altered on a genetic level wherein material gathered from a Celestial was added in to their collective genome.  As a result of the addition of this alien material, exposure to the rare Terrigen Crystals would activate a random set of mutations and super-human powers.  The Kree had originally hoped these super humans could be weaponized, but the experiment was ultimately abandoned and forgotten about.
Centuries later, the ancestors of these experimented-on humans had become an advanced species who remained isolated in a walled city they called Attilan. Seeing themselves as different compared their human cousins they came to call themselves ‘The Inhumans.’
An early king of these Inhumans conducted experiments with the Terrigen Crystals.  He found that exposure to a gaseous rendering of the Terrigen unlocked tremendous abilities.  Over time it became a custom that every Inhuman child would be exposed to the Terrigen Mist at the time of their adolescence.  Thus Attilan gradually became populated by beings of various shapes and sizes possessing a multitude of different super powers.
The Inhumans lived in isolation for countless years until the societal advancements of their human cousins made living in secrecy impossible.   Furthermore, the industrialization of the human world made the air progressively toxic to Inhumans.  Aided by The Fantastic Four, the current Inhuman king, Black Bolt, acted to relocate Attilan to the oxygen rich Blue Area of the Moon.
Over the centuries, there had been various Inhumans who left Attilan in search of a different life outside of the isolated citadel.  The ancestors of these Inhumans possessed latent Inhuman genes that remained dormant for generations.  Aware of the upcoming calamity that ultimately resulted in the Secret Wars event, Black Bolt took the drastic action of releasing a Terrigen Bomb that transformed the mutagenic substances into a pair of gaseous clouds.  Exposure to these clouds acted to trigger Terrigenic transformations in many of the latent Inhumans all over the globe, hence creating a new generation of super-powered ‘NuHumans.’
And yet the Terrigen clouds proved un-expectantly poisonous to Mutants, ultimately leading to a war between the Inhumans and The X-Men.  Fearing the genocide of all Mutant life on earth, Queen Medusa of the Inhumans chose to destroy the Terrigen Cloud, saving the Mutant whilst dooming the future of the Inhumans.  With the Terrigen gone, no new Inhumans would ever come about.
What remained of the Inhumans were later attacked and nearly wiped out by a rogue faction of The Kree.  Black Bolt, Medusa and the few remaining Inhumans have since taken refuge in a secretive, undisclosed haven.
The Inhumans first appeared in the pages of Fantastic Four Vol. 1 #45 (1965).

People complaining about Kamala having a time with X-men forget Carol herself also had a very influential time with the X-men.
Comic is not out yet. Reserve criticism for the actual writing.
....
Do people still pretend to care about NuHumans? lmao.

TOTALLY RANDOM but I was thinking about how many folks who only read the X-Men have theorized that stories of gods/demons/monsters/etc were actually early mutants and like Yes, we have seen that, like Selene being worshipped as a goddess since birth, the Neyaphim and the Cheryarafim mutant strains being the inspiration for human conceptions of how demons and angels look, etc But also like Gods and monsters and vampires and werewolves all just literally actually exist in Marvel and always have. Literally every pantheon and a few fictional ones exist. It’s not just the Olympians and Asgardians, we’ve seen the Hindu pantheon, the Polynesian pantheon, the Finnish and Mongolian and Mayan pantheons, you name it, they have appeared, I can literally bring you citatons and images. Then there’s the OC gods, like the Elder Gods such as Cthon and Set, or the Vishanti, or Snowbird’s mom Nelvanna. Demons? Jotunn? Mythological monsters galore? Yeah, those have all shown up. Vampires and werewolves? Yeah, there’s the Russell family and like the entire Blade series, have you heard of it? Even MOSES is canonical actual fact in Marvel, the entire “Forever Yesterday” alternate history is based on his battling the Pharaoh’s sorceror’s as the point of division from the mainstream timeline, he lost in their timeline and history since was very significantly different as a result. And even when the actual beings themselves aren’t inspiring their own legends, there’s also a lot more superbeings besides mutants out there. The Eternals were frequently confused for various gods, due to their similiar names and godlike qualities. For example, Makkari and Mercury. And Sersi is indeed actually the legendary Circe, and speaking of werewolves and vampires, it’s mentioned she contributed to those herself by turning a lot of people into wolves and bats in Europe back in the day. Yes, that’s horrible, Sersi’s kind of an asshole like that. Deviants had an entire game called “playing devil” where they terrorized ancient humans and inspired a lot of tales of demons and monsters. And Inhumans used to mingle with humanity much more, hence why some humans had the latent gene to being NuHumans when exposed to Terrigen Mists. And like. . .merpeople? There’s the Atlanteans, the Lemurians, the Sirenas. . . My point isn’t “ancient mutants definitely didn’t inspire anything” but more “also these things just objectively exist in Marvel anyway and always have so probably they also inspired themselves too in addition to mutants, Inhumans, Eternals, Deviants, and a lot of other shit adding to it”

Reminder that Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel was given powers after Terrigenesis (like all Inhumans) and coming out of a Terrigen cocoon (like Nuhumans) in issue 1 of her comic and the remains are seen in issue 2

It’s been many years since Natasha Romanoff gave a flying fuck about S.H.I.E.L.D. The entity was something to watch and be wary of, but never heed. In the past, it’s mostly signaled nothing but trouble. That’s not to say it’s always been corrupted. There’s been good years as well as the bad. Natasha wouldn’t have ever worked with them if she thought they were entirely irredeemable. Her pessimism has just gotten worse after not one but two iterations of Pleasant Hill.
Daisy Johnson taking over is supposed to usher in a new age. That’s a lot of pressure to put on one person, but if things don’t change under Johnson then the odds are that they never will. Even though she won’t contract with the agency again, Natasha has no issue being a circumstantial ally with them while Daisy gets herself established. It’s a huge undertaking, and it’s not as if the rest of the world stops so one can get their feet under them. The world keeps spinning and buildings keep exploding. Daisy’s job will be far from easy.
Natasha’s not actually making a house call to talk business, though. At least, not exclusively. The Widow sees the Nuhuman as a friend at this point, and that’s a high title to have in Natasha’s book. She stands with her back leaning against the counter, a glass of whiskey resting beside her. The coolness has left a puddle around it as water drips down the glass.
“I wanted to check in on you and Rosalind, both because of the spell being undone and the explosion. How are you holding up?” She wants to ask how S.H.I.E.L.D. is looking into the Avengers Mansion tragedy, but bites her tongue for now. “I’ve never been more glad to not be invited to a party.”
A lie. Natasha had been invited. She had just refused as it was an Avengers meeting and she didn’t want to be an Avenger right now.

Do you think during their exchanges with the Fantastic Four, or when Black Bolt was hanging out with Crusher and Titania, and Medusa was acclimating a bunch of NuHumans, the Inhumans Royals ever watched the Godzilla movies? Do you think Maximus or Black Bolt in particular would sympathize with the titular kaiju (especially the Shin Godzilla version) if they did? Here's a creature confused and hurt, lashing out, not even intending to cause destruction but doing it anyway because of his screams of pain, and nobody in the world understands him and his ordeal.
tbh i’m a pretty big fan of the idea of crystal bringing back things from “the outside world” for her family whenever she returns to attilan, such as foods and movies, so i definitely could see her introducing them to some beloved titles like godzilla! although, admittedly i have never seen any godzilla movies myself, so i have no idea how they’d react to specific scenes. bb in general seems to be very patient and sympathetic though, so i could see him getting very empathetic and emotional over the relatability of godzilla!!
(slightly unrelated note, i imagine he and maximus are particularly disdained over movies where a dog/other pet dies, to the point that they refuse to watch a movie if it happens. the family watches something like turner and hooch without any idea of it and all get so upset that lockjaw gets showered with constant attention for about a week afterwards and crystal always checks to make sure they don’t repeat that mistake)

She’s never going to space again. No, that’s dramatic. Space will always be a part of Crystal. The Inhumans got their start on the moon, and she’ll always think of home when the night sky is clear. Her recent trip off planet had been with Luna. It marked the first time that she and her daughter had traveled intergalactically together, but Luna managed it well. Luna tends to handle most things well, Crystalia has noted. It’s been a blessing with the divorced and resulting animosity.
Getting caught up has taken some time. Crystal’s stripped off her gloves and kicked off her boots, one hand propping up her head as Daisy fills her in. She pauses once the Nuhuman is finished. “So, that’s it?” That’s it seems like an extreme oversimplification. “Reality warping, mass kidnappings, explosions and resurrections all within three months. It would almost be impressive if it wasn’t so messed up.”
