Dub name: Living Death Ghoul

Roberta's stand in all her glory! Living Dead Girl can renew old objects, including reanimating skeletons, and can use her bandages as a sensor to detect where other stand users are, yet only within a short range. She is also somewhat sentient, and has a very sarcastic personality, like a Wine Aunt of sorts.

So I’m ditching my previous draft of the requiem version of Hol Horse’s Emperor, and revamped it into this. I personally still call it Emperor Gold, but I think Kaiserrequiem (Emperor’s Requiem, composed by Johann Joseph Lux...I’m just intrigued that his first name can literally be shortened to JoJo) would be a more appropriate name.

I’ll breakdown the stand under the cut, if you’d like to read it. 

Kaiserrequiem is basically Emperor on steroids, with better range and precision. In addition to the controllable, limitless bullets, the stand has a locked target precision feature that will track one living target at a time, and send all the bullets shot to follow and attack the target, no matter how far. Once locked, the bullets cannot be stopped unless Hol Horse decided to shift the target elsewhere. All the bullets will increase their speed once within the vicinity of its target, moving towards it at the same time and giving the impression like it’s raining. I call the move Heavy Rain (title of a Hall and Oates song). 

I know that a lot of fanmade versions of an upgraded Emperor is just a bigger and better gun, and I think I saw one where it’s a humanoid stand with its fingers as gun barrels, or something like that. But, I do think the original Emperor is already pretty OP on its own. I mean...limitless bullets within a literal aimbot gun? It’s sick, and can do quite a lot of damage if Hol Horse wasn’t such a goof. 

So what’s better than one OP gun? Multiple OP guns, of course.

Hence, the design. The extra arms is also a homage to Hol Horse’s theme song. I came upon someone commenting that his theme sounded like he reached Nirvana. I grew up with Bollywood, and khatak dance music is often very pleasing to my ears. Hol Horse’s theme song is a mixture of that, and cowboy-outlaw music, which surprisingly really complimented each other. 

In part of his ultimate move being called Heavy Rain, I actually searched the Hindu deity Indra as another inspiration. Indra is the god of rain and thunder, if memory serves me right. Not only that, Indra is also known as the emperor to god-like deities, making him one of the few gods with the title king.

I know previously I did Emperor’s requiem stand to be a humanoid separated from its user, but since Emperor is a wearable(?) stand, I think it’s better to keep it that way. So no humanoid stand this time.

I’d imagine that, to wield such a stand requires a more matured Hol Horse. If I’m Araki, I’ll put him between Part 5 and 6, so he’s most likely in his early 40s when he received Kaiserrequiem. Attire-wise, I don’t make much changes. He still wears his dirty old yellow-green clothes, with a long coat and collar pins (homage to CDDH), and a different pair of boots. 

That’s that. I still do find the whole idea to be too much, but I finally got this out of my brain. Now I can concentrate on other fanarts. ;;v;;

Love the oc stand! I love the concept of the stand’s save point ability and how it not over powered. The fact that in order too activate it’s ability requires the stand to preform an action with the user’s body makes it a nice change from other time manipulating stands where the user just needed to order a psychic command to their stand for its ability to activate.

Yeah, I really love building stands with limitations! I think the nature of stand fights for araki is often building something with a weakness or a limitation on its power, then finding how to either exploit or overcome said weakness- I like thinking about how Vesuvio would have to strategize and overcome obstacles to win with RB!

oc stand, Knight of Cydonia. anything that goes in one of the portals at the end of the arms comes out the other one at whatever speed the user wishes. any significant change in speed requires equally significant effort on the users part. in doing so excess smoke is let out from the vents.

My OC stand, Foxlore! (Named after the crane wives album.)

It has medium power, usually using claws or bites in melee combat

Extremely high speed, moving lighting fast within its range

Small range of 4 meters in radius

Above average precision

BAD Durability, requiring only one good hit before going out

Really good potential

It has the ability to create illusory copies of anything, but no matter which one is checked first, it will turn out to be fake and the other one will turn out to be real, allowing a sort of teleportation.

It's secondary ability is to draw anything exactly the way i imagine it.

I think I finally finalised the design for that JoJo OC, Cappello Gatto I made, and his Stand Synkronized. I just need to think of colours tho...maybe next week. I still have some CDDH to finish  (ﾟωﾟ；)

I guess my biggest inspiration for his design is the band Jamiroquai. Since the Stand’s power is teleportation, I incorporated a compass in its design as well.

Now, this is the part I’m a little nervous about. Since I used Jamiroquai as the main inspiration, it’s blatantly obvious that I’m incorporating the stereotypical design of a Western version of “Red Indians” that the band used pretty extensively...and I’m aware it shows. And while it is amusing to kinda realise that I’m playing into the typical old school Western trope of cowboy vs Red Indian with Hol and Gatto as enemies, I can’t shake the feeling that I just did something bad. Racist, if you will. 

I’m not well versed with the opinions of others on this Western trope, so if it’s leaning on the negative, I’ll just slow down on drawing Gatto in the future.
