Alright so I haven't had the chance to watch the show yet, which is TORTURE because I've had the majority of my first two hours of the day off of school, so I could've at least seen an episode by now

But I will be watching it sometime this weekend with friends, and y'all can expect to see lots of incoherent keysmashes

For the time being though here are my thoughts/predictions for what will happen, which include spoilers from the books below the cut

I'm calling it right now, the show is going to end with Nina betraying Matthias in order to save both their skins

I'm 99.99% sure the crows are going to try and kidnap Alina for kruge

They're going to fail though and probably get trapped in Ravka for a season 1 cliffhanger

I heard someone talk about a scene with Alina and the Darkling on a ship being all 😏 and uhh-- no thanks

From the 10 minute sneak peak and the Alex Meyer video, thank GOD for Mal's glow up, boi really changed between the book and the show

JESPER MY BOI he's probably going to mess something up potentially by gambling all their money and losing it and Kaz is gonna have a "I'm not mad, just disappointed"

Jordie?? Maybe?? In cryptic flashbacks?? I don't think we'd get anything with him in season 1 other than a few cryptic moments

Kaz and the Darkling are never gonna be in the same room at once, they will get EXTREMELY close to meeting but I think the fans would be too powerful if Kaz and the Darkling ever encountered each other

NIKOLAI BETTER FRICKEN BE CASTED SOON ALONG WITH MY BOI WYLAN OR IMMA RIOT

The Apparat is going to haunt my nightmares after this

And final thing, like... Kaz and Inej and Jesper all speak Kerch??? Inej probably speaks Suli and Jesper probably speaks some Zemini but none of them speak Ravakan??? As far as I'm aware?? So I'm hoping for some sort of charades scene in which Kaz has to pantomime to Make that he's looking for Alina
