Ok, here it officially is in all its 2013 mobile port glory, Guilty Gear Vastedge XT’s cutscenes are all in this folder.

Heres my preface, they are all silent, oddly, the sound wasnt stored in the files themselves (or if they were, the rippers i found online couldnt access it for whatever reason?). They are VERY low resolution as well, this is a mobile port of a pachislot game, even using the recommended methods to get the best quality from the file type, they turned out so tiny, sorry about that. They also, are a certified mess. Its 4039 videos, all with the most esoteric names, all about a few seconds long, and all with multiple variations each. I’m sorry about this, I can probably make a cleaned up folder one of these days but I really wanna just get this out for everyone to poke at LOL

Im baffled we could even get this much out of the apk... I truly thought this would be lost until arcsys themselves stepped in or someone spent the 200+ bucks on a pachislot machine... i hope at least one other person in the world finds this entertaining or interesting in some way :-)

question can you infodump about your Little Guys (atbb) to me because ive been following for like a year and i still dont totally understand them past papyrus au. they are really cool tho

oh my god ok so. first off atbb is the acronym for my ask blog @ask-the-bone-boys that's been on hiatus for a little over a year now. it was born in 2018 out of the annoyance of everything au-centered being sans and also a way to explore how the classic "aus get stuck in the original universe" fic trope would go if it was somebody from the "original" story leaving their universe instead. and also an excuse to make papyrus miserable to be fully honest

also also im going to preface this by saying i ship selfcest and there is some selfcest in this story ok if anybody has issue with that then uh. oopsies (i can explain the way i view it at another time if anybody;s interested but im already gonna ramble like hell here so not rn)

with that groundwork laid im gonna put this under a cut lmao dont click this

for the sake of organization- part 1: RUSS

STARTING AT THE BEGINNING so some very basic backstory for this Undertale Papyrus specifically is that he and his brother are twins, they grew up bouncing around several foster homes until they decided to run away to live in the woods on their 14th birthday, where they lived in a bigass tent for three years until Papyrus got badly injured and they had to get help from the townspeople, who uh kinda unofficially adopted them and thats how "they just showed up one day"

then more time passed and around 3 years after getting to the surface Papyrus was booted out of his universe by Mysterious Circumstances. he got a very bad introduction to the multiverse because the place he landed was my own version of horrortale, undermunch. there he meets Spooks!

i have a whole side-fic where you can read in better detail how this goes but basically monsters don't turn to dust in this world and also Spooks is a cannibal, which Papyrus doesn't know until he realizes he was fed spaghetti made out of a rabbit monster. IN addition to that, Spooks has very different magic from other aus, that being it's pretty much all concentrated into a kind of blue-magic-venom that comes out of his teeth like a snake.

Long story short Papyrus has to escape from Spooks somehow, and that's how he learns he's able to move through universes by himself. It still takes him a while to learn how to without being in a life-or-death situation, but that's ok because almost every other universe he goes to after that puts him into a life-or-death situation :>

and then FINALLY he gets spat out into a variation of Underswap, where he meets Honey. this one's a bit spoilery because i haven't finished writing this fic yet BUT its ok because this will be so so so disorganized. anyway so Papyrus is scared of Honey at first because he's been getting completely fucking obliterated by the multiverse (his leg is broken and he's wearing a chest plate he stole from a different papyrus who died in front of him) but Honey is relatively patient with him and lets him stay on his couch on the surface. This is where Papyrus gets the nickname Russ!

Russ is dealing with a broken leg when he shows up in this universe, so he stays with Honey for a little over three months while he recovers from that as well as (some of) the multiverse traumas he'd been collecting up to that point. The main things that he still can't shake are nightmares, trust/attachment issues, and EXTREME food paranoia. he refuses to eat anything he hasn't prepared himself, and even that can be a struggle. Also, because of how long he spent without getting it properly treated, his leg never fully heals.

He starts getting really really homesick the longer he stays in this universe. It builds up over his whole stay, but only starts to get Very Bad after he gets the cast off of his leg. Honey's home is extremely similar to his own home, and sometimes just seeing him and his brother interacting with each other makes Russ upset.

OH I FORGOT TO TALK ABOUT THE CODEPENDENCY ok so at some point Russ just starts completely clinging to Honey and Honey doesn't know what to do about it so he just kinda. unintentionally feeds into it and this turns into Russ sleeping in Honey's bed and blah blah blah eventually this becomes a problem for Honey because he doesn't know how to address Russ's homesickness and clinginess without hurting him somehow even though Honey is extremely stressed and actively burning out

Then Russ overhears Honey venting to Undyne and feels. crushed. And he reacts incredibly rationally! By avoiding Honey as much as possible! But it does not take him long at all to break down and the two finally have a chat about boundaries. They work out a plan together that Honey thinks will genuinely help and Russ thinks will get himself off of Honey's back. The plan is that they'll figure out how to control Russ's world-hopping ability and get him back home.

The idea is that if he's able to control when and how he leaves, he can control where he goes. Then, when he inevitably lands in his home, he'll pop back in Underswap and tell Honey how it went. Because he can control it! Of course!

Honey gives him one of his hoodies and a photo camera to remember him by. Russ tries to figure out what it was in the past that might have helped him jump universes, which was the desire to be just about anywhere other than where he was at that moment. So, he just, thought about going home instead!

And it worked! And he left Honey's universe! And then he realized he didn't land at his home at all! And when he tried to go back to Honey's universe, he went somewhere entirely different as well! And he never saw Honey again! Wahoo!

This is the point where he just becomes a complete mess I'm not gonna lie to you, he starts drinking even though he really really REALLY hates alcohol, he only eats enough to stay conscious, he gets into fights just for the adrenaline rush, and only stays in one universe long enough to confirm it's not his home before either leaving for the next one or collapsing somewhere and hoping he doesn't get attacked while he sleeps for two hours

then he lands in Edge's universe and this needs a part two now OOPS

I’ve done a similar response to this before here and mentioned something else about it here but I’ll go over it again since those posts are both from a while ago. also bear in mind I haven’t seen aya recently bc I don’t like it. okay let’s get into it

[also im gonna preface this saying maybe i sound very pessimistic but im ranting and its just gonna sound like im complaining because i am. i mean no real malice by the way. im simply a person with a blog.]

first off. they don’t use the show don’t tell as well as they could. in the what might have been montage, sure, they showed potential scenarios and how phineas felt (very briefly) when isa stopped visiting his backyard but it just feels so rushed. I get that they only had like 11 minutes to show it but idk there has to be another way to write it. or just not have it at all idk its just from a writing point of view the whole episode feels rushed and out of place from everything else continuity-wise. why not use little easter eggs planted in the show beforehand? operation crumbcake? pharmacists? meapless in seattle? god theres so many episodes with evidence that phineas liked her back even if he didnt know. just. continuity!!!!

second. why did their friends not try something sooner. it’s not like they didn’t know. like phineas seems to be okay with saying “i wish! i am so in the friend zone there” in front of his friends (that quote alone makes me lose my shit but that’s a whole other point) so clearly they knew about phineas. and isabella also wasn’t quiet about it (source: pnf s1-4). they had like four years of high school to do something and they planned it the day isa left for college? nah its just the least realistic thing ever for me. also them being 18 is like yeah okay maybe the slow burn was worth it and theyre way more grown up (i love a good slowburn) but ohhhhhh my god SURELY their friends were getting sick of them dancing around each other. just me?

third. and I’m sorry to ash simpson but oh my god I hate the character designs like They Would Not Fucking Look Like That. it almost feels like it completely disregards their arcs during the original summer. like yeah child chub disappears over ur teen years but sometimes it stays a little longer! make phineas less twiggy!! make isa look more like her mother! (am i about to redesign them again? whoops)

four. and i know this is no fault of dan and swampy but the show was about to end anyways and yet the entire friend group was paired off into hetero ships?? get fucking real. none of those kids are straight. realistically, i know it was a different time and gay marriage wasnt even legal in the us yet so it wasnt all that common to have queer romance on screen let alone on disney channel but like i said, the show was about to end. what were the disney channel execs gonna do? cancel it? lmao

five. "I am so in the friend zone there." "we are guys. we do not talk about our feelings." WHAT!!! i cant believe this shit is real. these lines of dialogue are canon. what the hell. what kind of message does that even send to younger, impressionable viewers? if ur a 10 year old boy watching that (ok fine maybe that isnt gonna stick with you forever but listen) and you go 'oh its okay to just bottle everything up and not tell my friends about my feelings about anything ever' that is insane! thats not how things should go!! like i get the whole "im so in the friend zone" and yes, this also has to do with the era but like if they wanted to be a more progressive cartoon that kids look up to and enjoy maybe they just. shouldn't have put that whole conversation in.

i barely have any problems with the b plot. in fact id watch the episode just for the kazoo solo. because that plot lines up with the continuity. i can totally see heinz having bowling night with perry and carl and monogram every week! i can totally see perry and monogram retired! and carl running owca and getting payed for it! that all checks out! that one makes sense and works with the canon! if they got that plot so right how did they get the a plot so wrong?

i can answer this question: fanservice. its an awful word, i know. act your age is a fanservicey episode which is why i think it crashed and burned. mml season 2 is rooted in the same issue: doof is very present and takes away from the original plot of the show. like, the one he wasnt even in until the last episode of s1. slightly getting off topic but it is the crux of the issue. fanservice doesnt make for good storytelling. even if it brings in the big bucks. at its core, telling the story the way it should be told is the best one. even if it pisses people off. a good portion of the viewers will still appreciate whatever ending the creators come up with. and no, im not saying phinbella shouldn't have become canon, in fact i really like the ship and all their dynamics, i just think they went about it the wrong way.

as someone who's written and published fic about them getting together in different universes (granted, they were from when i was younger so its mildly terrible. take them with a grain of salt) there are a lot of other ways to tell that story canonically. honestly, i think the best way of doing it was to keep it ambiguous. dont tell that story. let the viewers pick their own ending for phineas and isabella. maybe they dont get together after all. who knows!

Russian curse words is veeery various, it can contain a lot of definition for one word, but be different on vibes and occasions to use it. U can say an entire sentence without a single cultural word in it. And therefore shtop complains about the lack of swear words in english and often swears in Russian. "--da blyaaaaat' kak zhe zae- -- OH gimme this gun. you started speaking russian which means things are bad." ill brb later with more things but now im kinda tired rn so here u go.

Why I Headcanon Waylon Park as a Trans Guy?

it came to me in a dream.

ok but jokes aside (well not entirely it DID actually originate because of a dream i had getting interrupted by a nonexistent video essay on the topic... dreams are weird man), i do want to try talking about my reasoning for this (although it's totally legit to hc a character as trans purely because you want to!! thats totally based also lol), because maybe it'd be interesting to hear the lens through which i saw this game? idk lol but i'm doing it anyway... below the cut in case it gets long

Ok immediate prefaces, A: i doubt this was actually the intended at all and i'm not trying to say it's canon, just saying why i read it that way :3 and B: this will probably be a rambling mess and I apologize, I'll try to make it somewhat make sense.

I guess I'll start with: a whole major thing of Outlast, is fighting to tear down this large corporation, that is like. the embodiment of shitty systems that exploit people (this post by bry mentions that general topic, although more focused on miles' angle). It's worth noting because, to me at least, fighting these sorts of systems really aligns with a lot of queer folks (and basically any group that gets fucked over by the system, which is most of them loll). There's like, this whole thing of Waylon seemingly fitting that image of the ideal typical man, with the wife and kids and a job, but he has to risk all of that to do what he feels is the right thing.

(Oh yeah, I guess quick tangent on that note. Yes I know in canon we literally see his dick lmao and also we know he has kids, which you might think would deter my hc here. but A: i already said ik it's probably not canon, i can still read into it regardless. B: intersex ppl exist. C: phalloplasty and other similar procedures exist. D: ppl can have kids in non-traditional way. so im prob not gonna cover that element of it more)

My brain hasn't been able to help but interpret his whole journey in a queer way, because i played it as a teenager still in the throes of understanding my identity and place in the world, so in the end this might not even make sense to anyone else. But, I'm trying to explain, so I'll continue to regardless.

I kind of saw it as Waylon hiding in the protection of an "ideal" life. On the surface he looks like he's in that American ideal family, but it's a subversion. He's only one of them because they think he is. Because he doesn't step out of line. Unlike Miles, who's more outspoken about issues, who seemingly has no one around him. He's treated as part of this "ideal" world, while working in the background to try and stop the exploitation and immoral acts going on.

When he's caught, when he's seen as something more complicated than first imagined, he's cast out. Lumped in with the same people being exploited by Murkoff already. He isn't "human" to them anymore. He's something else. Something they don't like.

Although the violence brought upon him is by the variants, it is still in part Murkoff's doing, since they fucked these people up via these experiments to a point of heightened violence and just generally ruining their lives more than they already had been by whatever they had done prior. That being said, they are still responsible for their own actions.

the stuff with Eddie is definitely the part that most resonated with me through this lens. I remember first playing it, and he scared me the most, for a lot of reasons. One of which being what he represented. He's The Groom. He wants someone to be his Bride, and you're it, even if you don't want that. As someone who's aroace AND already knew at that point that i wasn't a girl, this guy felt like a human embodiment of the pressures to fit what was expected of you. That one day, you'll be married and have kids. If you don't, then you're worthless.

But it's interesting especially, because Waylon IS married. He has kids already. He has that family. The difference is, in this hypothetical trans lens, he's not "really" in a traditional family. He's "pretending", as some might see it, because he's not "really one of them". Being Eddie's Bride is the situation that would've been expected of him, but he said "fuck that", and did his own thing.

Plus, like, with Eddie in particular, you will NEVER be what he wants. He will try to make his perfect bride, but you'll never be it. Even before Mount Massive, no one was what he wanted, judging by all the people he killed. He's a broken man desiring something but never liking his options.

Also just fucking. these lines from eddie make me lose my mind.

That part of you the world sees, they think it's perfect. As God intended. Even these idiots and lunatics see it. There's something special about you. On the surface. But when they look deeper, when anybody with eyes to see looks at what you truly are. That's why they don't trust you. You're not what you're meant to be. Not yet. This place can see into your mind. And the things you've done. Oh, they're a sin, darling.

like HELLO??

I know it's probably just Eddie rambling but it felt like he reached through the screen and grabbed me by the throat like.

Anyway in actual relation to my point. uh. Remember the thing I said about Waylon being a "fake" typical family? This kind of relates to that. Like, on the surface, he seems like he's got this perfect typical American family, he's "as God intended" (which. bro. i swear that exact phrase has been used against trans people so many times). But if you look closer, you'll realize there's more to it than that. Also like, going from the "as God intended" line to the thing about the things he's done being a sin, like hmmm. Maybe I'm reading into that too much, considering we know Eddie wants to make you into his Bride, so of course he's gonna think stuff like that. But still. It's a bit interesting to me.

Plus, it's interesting how, despite having a wife and kids, he's still more... feminized, I guess, than any other characters in this game. Both in the game itself, and within the fandom. Like, not just Eddie literally calling him a woman and trying to make him his bride, but also stuff like a variant near the beginning calling him a "pretty flower" before threatening him, Andrew (one of the staff) licking his face at the beginning of the game... A lot of violence and sexual-ish acts that are often directed at women in media. Even Frank, who I don't have as much to say about here, has some weirdly sexual undertones to his whole cannibalism thing.

This isn't entirely related but one part of the game that still sticks with me but I don't see mentioned as much, is near the beginning. Those guys stabbing the dead staff member. One of them remarks that "there are no observers here" and "do you think you're different? Something special?", which I think helps cement the whole idea that he's treated the same as the rest of people being exploited by Murkoff now. There's no turning back to that "ideal" life you were hiding in before. Hell, that's definitely reinforced more at the end of the game, when you choose to publish your footage, knowing Murkoff will come after you for it, and probably ruin your life. Maybe there's more interesting things to glean from that, but i thought they were interesting lines nonetheless.

anyway, overall I know this is probably just the ramblings of a trans/generally queer person reading WAY too much into a character that I happened to resonate with when i played the game, but i thought maybe it would be interesting for others to understand what would lead me to this conclusion? Anyway, that's all i've got on the subject right now, so I hope it was at least a little interesting.

I saw everyone discussing subordinate au dazai and mean!chuuya with a Very Tiny subordinate and I'd like to propose a counterpoint: darling that's significantly bigger than both of them. preface: while I personally have in mind a male!darling for this I encourage all my buff fem likers to envision that instead if thats more ur speed.

ok for dazai i think hes really gonna enjoy this, both when hes in Cruel Mode and when hes in Obsessive Mode. cruel dazai is just into it cuz he gets a very significant power trip out of forcing someone who could typically snap him clean in half to bow to his whims without question, but obsessive dazai is more. well ill just come right out and say it the man's horny. he quickly finds he rather enjoys having to look up at them or yank them down by the front of their shirt (or leash) to get a kiss. he also 1000% starts acting like a princess in this scenario. demands to be carried (and giggles about how strong and dreamy darling is the whole time), clings onto darlings arm when walking anywhere, pretending he cant open things and whining for darling to do it for him, you get it.

chuuya... hes conflicted. before hes Into darling this is just another reason on his list that they need to get their ass kicked and HES gonna be the man to do it. its such complete horseshit that this worthless nobody grunt this THIS much bigger than HIM, the executive! he pretends this doesnt bother him as much as he can but oh my GOD it grates on him every second. he hates how much they tower over him and how big their muscles are and how they could probably pick him up really easily... yeah... hates that....

once hes out of denial about his feelings he stops being such a little bitch about their height, its not THEIR fault, and theyre his most precious thing ever he couldn't possibly hate something about them! but it will be VERY hard to get him to admit to anyone that he likes how tall they are... well, maybe when hes got them alone hell be more forthcoming.

hehe im actually taller than chuuya (not by a lot but yeah) so this is. this has me grinning lol princess dazai...i cannot stand this man1!1!! im glad we have yet another similar consensus

dazai always gets off the control and authority he has over you, but somehow the notable size difference between the two of you only has him basking in more triumph and self-satisfaction. he'll definitely enjoy the process of humiliating you any chance he gets, and he's even more thrilled when you first meet him and you don't look terrified by the end of the introduction.

(going back to our previous discussions about dazai and the leash yeessss) so dazai's idea of peak humiliation involves the infamous leash and a whole lot of name-calling. in this case, he's even more exhilarated at the sight of you all collared up and calling him master. it doesn't take anything more than a moment of you looking away to get punished now.

once dazai's obsession kicks in full force, you can expect him to be absolutely shameless. his sadistic streak seems to have vanished into thin air, because he's apparently completely helpless. both of you know dazai is more than capable of carrying things himself and that he doesn't need an escort but you also can't refuse him anyway. and unfortunately, dazai will just. stop walking. from now on he expects to be carried everywhere (unless you're too tired ofc) and you don't have a say in the matter, because he will cling onto your arm or leg and refuse to let go until you comply. he's obviously feeling you up at any chance he gets and he's 100x more clingy than before. previously, he hated when you had to look down to meet his eyes but now, he's all for it. he relishes in it, even. the grabbing you by the collar for a kiss? it's all he does, so don't even try to stop him.

chuuya's convinced this was on purpose. why else would they recruit you if not to piss him off?? if you think you're so much better than him, just you wait! he'll humble you and put you back in your place. you don't have to do anything for him to feel slighted and ready to fight. he's so infuriated by your presence that anything can set him off.

he's overcompensating for his insecurities and his attraction to you, but he doesn't want to admit it. he's provoked by how built you are and how tall you are and how you're looking down on him! and you easily you can pick him up and throw him around and. he hates everything! 100% not intrigued at all, and he definitely does not want to put his thoughts to the test.

but afterwards, when he's finally come to terms with the fact that he's harboring an unhealthy obsession with you, he's all...understanding about it. chuuya goes on about how it's totally out of your control that you're so tall but he loves you and he doesn't care about it. he's indifferent towards it yep no internal desire towards this aspect of you. just like dazai though it's quite obvious he's more than neutral about your height. he doesn't complain about it and he definitely doesn't seem to hate having you grab you by the collar. he's all for it...because...it's asserting dominance...and not for any other reason. (give him some time to warm up and then he'll be almost as shamless as dazai)

Buckle in for an extremely long post because I am insane. Cutting it to keep it organized for u guys 🫶

So one thing about me is that I love incorporating other people’s headcanons into my own. And sometimes that leads to some contradicting headcanons, so in my little brain I have like, multiple different sets of headcanons for a bunch of different characters while also having My Headcanons, those being the ones I believe in the most/came up with without outside influence. I will be listing My Headcanons, but I type that entire preface to explain why some of my posts might be contradictory of the headcanons I list here 🫶

Their eye color aligns with their element, they all have their natural eye colors, but after realizing/unlocking their elemental powers, they began to change.

Adding onto the above hc, Kai and Nya's eyes are still pretty dull due to them being like, the last two to realize their powers, while Jay's are extremely bright and vibrant.

Jay- she/they (occasionally he) transfem + gender-fluid, bisexual

Hard of hearing, wears hearing aids. I think the hearing loss has always been there, but I think her elemental power just worsened it, bc you know. Thunder loud.

That being said, I think she was the first to get her elemental powers. I think they got them when she was like, a really really young kid.

Has heterochromia.

Came out as trans like, mid-prime empire.

Has psychosis and suffers from delusions.

Not rlly a Jay hc, but related. Their mom gave them up because she was desperately hoping they wouldn't have an elemental power, but if she did, they'd be near unfindable because she lived through hell and didn't want Jay to have to go through the same.

AuDHD

Nya- she/they transfem nonbinary, bisexual demiromantic

Has a tremor after un-merging with the ocean.

Her and Kai both have pretty bad anger issues.

SHE CAN BREATHE UNDERWAAAATTTEEERRRRR I believe she can ok?

For a long time after Hands Of Time she hates the way she looks because of how much she looks like her mom.

Still holds a heavy resentment against their parents, because even though it wasn't their choice to leave, them and Kai still had to grow up alone.

Fucking hates the taste of cinnamon.

Has time blindness, but only after un-merging with the ocean. She became disoriented and confused about the passage of time after being the ocean for so long.

Sometimes they still feel pulled back to the water.

Best friends with Cole (I believe this one wholeheartedly)

ADHD

Lloyd- he/they nonbinary, aroace

Has insomnia, and a sleepwalking problem when he can get to sleep.

Looked fairly human when he was young, but as he got older, his Oni and Dragon features started showing more.

The feelings he felt for Harumi was mostly confusion because she was the first girl he got close to that didn't have what felt like an 'older sister' role in his life.

Really likes bugs.

Has auditory processing disorder.

Their body doesn't regulate temperature regularly.

Religiously watches iceberg videos.

Likes wearing more loose fitting, baggy clothing.

High-empathy autistic.

Kai- he/him transman, bisexual

He and Nya both have pretty bad anger issues.

He likes occasionally dressing femininely, but usually decides against it because he’s afraid people won’t take him seriously.

Has burn scars that go pretty far up his arms due to his own elemental power.

After the events of DOTD he has to use a mobility aid for a while while he gets accustomed to having a body again.

Body-image issues.

He feels like he’s supposed to be in charge of keeping everyone safe.

Best friends with Nya and Vania (I believe in this one SO hard.)

He loves cooking, and is very defensive about it. NOBODY is allowed in the kitchen while he's cooking (except Nya she's his taste tester).

Has constant night terrors and has a very detailed sleep routine to avoid them.

Super good with kids.

Girls girl (gender neutral).

OCD + ADHD.

Zane- they/them agender, panromantic ace

Will sometimes pick up little crafts or projects, jack of all trades type vibe.

Is actually SUPER up to date with every single internet trend or meme.

Can't taste (bc they're a nindroid...) but fr thought for years that all food just had no taste until the robot reveal and they're like 'ohh'

Has constantly wildly shifting morals.

Genuinely the scariest of the group, sometimes freaking out everyone else. This makes them sad. They present themselves in such a way to make them approachable.

Has a tendency to blame themself when everything goes wrong.

Refuses to talk about their feelings to anyone else, bottling it up.

Autistic.

Pixal- any pronouns agender, unlabeled ace

Runs every single online forum about the ninja, none of them know.

Always has to feel useful, or she gets stressed out easily.

Listens to podcasts when he works.

Wildly defensive.

Felt a little unworthy of the Samurai X title when nobody knew it was them.

Skylor- she/they, lesbian

True neutral (generally looks out for herself, doesn't really do things for the greater good, but for her own sake)

Doesn't remember her mom at all, she passed away when she was extremely young.

After the events of S4 she completely uprooted her life, changed literally everything about herself to disconnect herself from her father. Renamed the noodle shop, and completely rewrote the menu.

Makes most of her own clothes.

Picked up painting, is insanely good at it.

Slightly self destructive, constantly trying to distance themself from the ninja, but Kai always drags her back.

Realized her elemental power at a very young age, mostly because of her father.

BPD + CPTSD.

Vania- she/fae/it/he transwoman, lesbian aromantic

Very talkative.

Writes to Cole a lot (she has both a phone and his phone number it just likes writing to him).

Plays a lot of instruments, faer favorites being the harp and the violin.

Extremely anxious that she's not going to be a good queen, constantly overcorrecting.

Really indecisive and always changing his mind.

AuDHD

Harumi- she/he bigender, pansexual

Probably bites people.

Because of how sheltered she was with the royal family, she doesn't know a lot of basic life skills, and had to teach herself near everything she knows.

He did learn how to sew, and mends his own clothes.

Has albinism.

Always blaming her problems on other people, that being a product of the extreme pressure he was under when princess.

ADHD + CPTSD.

Sora- she/they/various neos transfem, lesbian

Always has to be busy, or she will start spiraling.

Wildly protective of Arin.

Was constantly getting into fights in the early days of living in the crossroads, very quickly learned they'd have to constantly fight to survive.

Talks about xer childhood like 'haha yeah it be how it be :)' and everyone listening is completely horrified.

Views everyone she meets as a threat until they prove they aren't.

Really likes reading, her favorite genre being sci-fi.

Does some creative writing, but has never shown anyone her writing.

of course, thank you for the ask!! i will preface this by saying that these roles might (and are likely to) change, like the bachelors role did - and that thats ok!! this is all just for fun <3 and i also want to say that im gonna alter the world of patho a bit, which, i think is also fine, since its an au !! fun times:) thoughts under cut

so, i'll talk about yura and arthur, then sanya (and sergei, sorta), and then them as a trio/duo.

patho!yura takes on the role of andrey stamatin. its a bit odd, but it fits. i changed yuras pants because i dont like andreys pants. its as simple as that. yura, like bachelor!dmitry and patho!arthur is from the capital. he studied with arthur and all that. young geniuses, you could say. though they haven't worked on as many architectual structures as the canon stamatins have, the few that they Have worked on are well known! whether or not they're liked is a whole different story. i wasn't sure who to put as the stamatin brothers, really, as the only brothers in pafl are nikita and kolya, i think? or tsar and arthur, sorta, iirc ferrys said a time or two that they think of each other as brothers or something like that. but! nikita and kolya will have.. different roles.. and tsar doesnt strike me as an an andrey nor a peter... so !! yura beletsky and arthur sokolov (his surname was in that one character sheet) are. the. umm. i dont know what their name would be but i think they're 'partners' - or at least, yura calls them that. (because of their colleague status, of course, since they work together so much. they can be gay too i guess. sigh. long live yaoi) yuras personality is pretty much the same as in canon, but hes a bit. hm. well, id say he acts like he's better than you, but hes just overcompensating. still very sad and depressed and all that.

arthur in this.. he's more depressed than angry in this one. i dont know. i havent thought of him all that much, truly and also !! youve only asked me for my thoughts on sanya and yura !! not arthur !! i dont have to tell you anything.... i WILL one day. believe me. but only when i have better thoughts

sanya! as you may have noticed, she's still albino in this au.. and, heres where my lack of knowledge on town on gorkhon comes into play !! so ! imagine that the steppe is like, zone-esque, or something. again, this au is just for fun, and though i Do think about it a lot, i dont think about it enough for me to have coherent thoughts. so! sanya. the townsfolk, i think, claimed she must be related to the worms in some way since shes an Albino and Strange and Defiant and a Rebel. so i think that at some point they started making that worm connection as an 'explanation' for her behaviour. so. i think, at a young age, rather young age, her father (and sergei sorta, i guess? but hed have been .. in his teens at the time, at least.. and since sanyas mom dies in childbirth no matter if shes a mutant or not, shes dead in this, too) sorta sent her to the cemetery. sanya is grace <3 she hangs around and maintains the cemetery a lot. its better than dealing with judgement and such. at first, at least. when shes a kid. soon she starts getting lonely, wishes to engage in society, to make friends, but, well. town on gorkhon is a small town. im sure she has some friends, though. 'friends'. maybe the little kids in the town and the like, yeah? maybe the kid gang? but i doubt shes close with them in any way. this is the first iteration of patho!sanya that i like in any way. its possible, likely, that ill change this, some of it at least, but! this is how it is for now.

during patho's main events, the stamatin brothers have already been in town for a few years. in this au, the architect bros are in town for 2 years before the plague breaks out. during those 2 years, sanya comes to 'admire' yura. envies his way of life. maybe they hang out a bit... since sergei is away studying to become a surgeon, he wouldn't be there to spoil their friendship - but, he also wouldnt be there to introduce them in the first place. .. but also, just bc sanya spends most of her time maintaining the cemetery and such doesnt mean she never goes out to town, for shopping and such, maybe. so. i think they start hanging out. not a lot. yura thinks shes a bit lame maybe. cringe. but, they start hanging out!! i thinkkk . ivan could be bad grief if i dont find anyone else. so, i think, sanya would get to meet him, too, and therefore also yana. shes not all that close with them, but, she does think theyre cool... and the gang thinks shes fine. shes there!! yana still thinks of her as "baby", arthur still thinks of her as "why are you even here", yura still thinks of her as "heheheheehhehe wont stop teasing you".. idk where tsar comes in but hes also "you are alright!!!"... only diference is. she doesnt fight all that much with ivan:( so sad

a lot of this is just incorehent thoughts ! but thats all i can muster up at the moment.. hope its enough !! and if its not !! my askbox is always open:D ask whatever whenever 👍

anon i need you to know the way you phrased this is SO goddamn funny i keep cackling whenever i look at it. omg.

i think the all time funniest part of this exchange is shin has NO IDEA who kai and sei are. and he certainly doesn’t know that THEY know sou. the thing about shin’s plan (yeah, i have to keep reminding myself that the identity swap was all shin’s idea) is that 1. he did not account for the fact that some of these people would know who sou is and 2. did not account for the fact that sou has ties to asunaro because HOW WAS HE SUPPOSED TO KNOW 😭 but all this ends up culminating in is kai and sei looking at shin with eyebrows raised like “🤨 what did sou coerce this poor boy into doing???”

i think i mentioned it before, but kai sei and sou have kind of a silent agreement of “well. i mean. i won’t tell anyone if you don’t tell anyone” because they all realize they’ll be high priority targets if they’re figured out, what with having ties to the organization that kidnapped everyone in the first place. so they play nice, and the satous internally cringe whenever they have to call sou “shin” and shin “sou” in front of everyone, and shin is completely oblivious to this entire conundrum 😭

IM SO GLAD you brought up the thing of if sou and shin thinks it’s weird that they’re acting like each other because they ABSOLUTELY DO. i need to preface with the fact that prior to death game it’s been ~3-ish years since they last saw each other? so shin and sou are very much still attached to the “old version” of each other, and that shines through in how they try to emulate each other as well. it’s really like….both of them are just like “is that. is that how he really thinks of me?” and for sou that statement is more accompanied with amusement whereas for shin it’s more like abject horror.

they would both chew each other out over it too. like “goddamnit you’re gonna get our cover blown” sou definitely looks at the way shin acts in the first main game and also his absolutely BIZARRE decision to whack himself over the head and pretend to have amnesia and is just like “i would not say that. i would not do that. what are you DOING” and yet he also has no way to defend himself because sou is TERRIBLE at acting like shin. shin will be like “ok i need you to do this and this and this” and sou will be like “uh huh uh huh [goes and does something completely different and ten times worse]” they’re so goddamn stupid

chapter 1 is definitely the funniest for this because sei has to watch sou act shy and timid and physically restrain themself from attacking him like a dog. it’s very much a scenario of the satou siblings looking at each other like “are you seeing this shit???” (i think that genuinely though kai would be somewhat worried about both shin and sou— and probably figure out before anyone else that what sou is doing for shin is similar to what he tried to do for sara. i think shin&sou and kai&sara actually do have a lot of parallels tbh)

SHAKING MY FIST IN A SOMEWHAT ANNOYED MANNER AT NEIL GAIMAN

I just watched Good Omens season 2 and I'm gonna be ☝🤓 about it for a second bcuz none of my friends watched the show and I cant rant at them (exploding them with my mind rn)

obviously spoiler and unhinged tirade warning

and no im not proof reading any of this

So I got really into the books before it was a show (Im not like other Good omens fans ok) *gets shoved into a locker* So I was pleasantly surprised with the first season because I thought my annoying grinch ahh would hate it. It was faithful to the original but it still made it new and interesting. The themes, story and the vibe was the same. They did put more of a focus on Aziraphale and Crowely and made them slightly softer but it worked and was swag. I also liked what they did with the ending even though it wasn't in the book.

So when season two was announced I was hopeful but also really nervous. The story had come to a logical end (Ig it could continue with a war between humanity and a heaven hell alliance and the end of season one basicallly implied that that would happen but STILL) and then the other writer for the book, Sir Terry Pratchet passed away (SIDE NOTE: i hate when people only mention Gaiman in regards to Good Omens, put some respect on my man Pratchet). I thought a lot of the humour and charm the book originally had was very Pratchetesque and it just wouldn't be the same without him . (no shade to Gaiman btw but yk what i mean)

I found out later (two days ago) that they the two authors had actually discussed a sequel previously and it would probably follow the plot of that heaven/hell vs humanity war, but past me didnt know that ok? my point about it not being the same still stands.

When season 2 came out i didnt watch it for a month bcuz i didnt have amazon prime. But when I eventually BOUGHT MY OWN SUBSCRIPTION AND GOT IT 100% LEGITIMATELY, JEFF BEZOS IF YOU'RE READING THIS PLS DONT COME BEAT ME UP, i finally had no more excuses to put it off.

In the begining (BIBLE REFERENCE?!??) i was really getting into it. Gaiman was POPPING off with those jokes. The naked Gabriel thing was an interesting premise. It was silly, cozy, and comfy.

and then it sort of stayed like that?

Like in Season one the main threat was the literal world ending. In season 2 it was Shaz standing menacingly outside the bookshop? And I know there was the whole threat of them being erased from the book of life, but that was mentioned once and then not really brought up again until the end where all the threats were just resolved in like 15 minutes? In season 1 Heaven and hell were a proper threat, but in season 2 they felt like submissive Beta males for some reason. it just felt kind of low stakes and too easily resolved.

OK so my next part might make some ppl mad (pls dont be mean to me ill cry) so I will preface this with saying: I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST A ROMANCE BETWEEN AZIRAPHALE AND CROWELY HAPPENING IN SEASON 2 lets be honest they were basically married in the book anyway so 💀

However it kind of overpowered the rest of the season. while season 1 was focused on a lot of different characters and plot happening, most of season 2 seemed to focus on their relationship. I did like some of it (that magic show episode was a banger) but no real plot actually happened during that time ( I straight up forgot Gabriel existed).

I also wasn't overly invested in the other romance between Maggie and Nina. It was cute, but it didnt hit like Newton and Anathema did. Gabriel and Beelzebub was cute (should have been me not Gabriel tho), but it was all smooshed into the last episode. It was a bit of an information dump.

The season felt like a different genre, with different stakes and a different overall vibe. Im gonna be honest, at some points it felt kind of... fanfictiony? if thats a good way to put it? It became more of a character driven show.

While I was doing some serious academic research (reading other tumblr blogs) I found out that this season was meant to be more relaxed and a smaller scale compared to season one and an eventual season 3. It was meant to be more focused on characters relationships and getting everyone where they need to be for the final season (which i assume is going to be like the sequel that Pratchet and Giaman planned ages ago). And it was also filmed during the Pandemic which explains its smaller scale.

I have mixed feelings on it. It was an enjoyable season, but it just didnt feel Good-omens-esque, and the fact that Im a ☝🤓 and grew up with book means I cant enjoy it as much as I want to. Im hoping season three will bring back the originals vibes and redeem season 2 for me.

Ok so aside form my main critisim, I also wanna talk abt the charactarisation of Aziraphale and Crowely and the Themes. This ones less of a problem for me but someone pointed it out and now its bothering me a bit.

When I watched the ending I was ready to throw hands with Gaiman himself because I didn't realize that there was gonna be a season three where the conflict was resolved. After I found out I was fine again UNTIL someone pointed out that they felt Aziraphale leaving for heaven was kind of out of character. The main message of season one is that neither heaven nor hell is good and both Aziraphale and Crowely are on their own, and humanities side. Both of them realize that, and theres a whole scene where they make a toast to the world. The fact that Aziraphale suddenly goes all "I can fix him" on heaven seems a bit odd. I've got mixed feelings on this becuase on one hand it is an interesting conflict to have, but it does sort of seem ooc for him to do. Im deciding to rationalize it by saying Aziraphales gone a bit silly and goofy from all the stress thats happening.

Someone else pointed out that the fact that Aziraphale and crowely met when they were both angels kind of ruins the significance that they became 'friends' despite being on opposite sides. I kind of see this point too, and I did prefer their first meeting being in the garden of eden (mainly becuase it was funnier) but im choosing to interpret this as they were aquintances as angels and only got to know eachother later.

Im just putting my trust in Neil Gaiman and Season 3

OK ITS OVER. Most people probably dont care all that much because they touch grass and go outside, but I just wanted to rant becuase something about it was really bothering me. If you actually read this far im giving you a gold star and a platonic forhead smooch. ALSO PLS FEEL FREE TO BULLY ME FOR MY TAKES BCUZ I REALLY WANT TO ENJOY THIS THIS SEASON AND MAYBE A DIFF PERSPECTIVE WILL HELP. OK BYE

how do we feel about . listen hold on prefacing this w this is self indulgent self soothing bed time story style fic ideas. god why does this feel EMBARRASSING i gotta unpack THAT someday. but not today. like… ok also i can tell im having an Anxiety Moment bc instead of depth first searching my little day dreams (making plot choices until it’s settled and then backtracking by one choice and changing it and then backtracking etc etc) i am basically uncontrollably breadth first searching (honestly this one just google a diagram is gonna be easier to understand sorry) bc i can’t settle on a single thought rn. OK! anyways. nanny lando . teacher oscar . letting myself feel fluffy things abt them. except then i jumped over to nanny lando divorcé jenson and let myself think . decidedly less fluffy things abt them. but still some fluffy things. and then i was like BUT WHAT IF THEY WERE LESBIANS! really wish i had the ability to just bang out words bc there are so many things floating around in my brain. but i am not prolific and i am significantly better at the “just saying shit out loud” part of this process like i looooooove talking why can’t i just sit on the kitchen floor w u all and tell stories while waving around clementine slices. had a teachers au idea in the shower (extremely half baked believe me) where oscar has a one night stand bc he’s like . fuck it gotta live it up in my last weekend before real adult job ! and then shows up to his first job on monday and whoops one night guy is drum roll please the teacher in the classroom across the hall (if necessary pretend there’s some sort of convoluted reason why he wouldn’t have met lando during some kind of interview process. i don’t know how teaching works in the slightest im afraid. and certainly not how it works in any other country which is why this will never get written)

THE PREGNANCY HEADCANONS AHHHH I LOVED THEM!! They were soo good babes like you really know how to write for the boys 😭 also loved the jk kink slip in lol 🤭

But since we’re on the topic of pregnancy I’m gonna write out how many kids I think BTS would have cause that came into my head while reading lol

Seokjin: 3. Now for Jin his first would be a girl period. Jin gives such dad girl vibes idc idc but with Jin I see him having one boy that would end up being the middle child you know?? And I think he’d try for one more and end up with another girl because like I said Jin radiates girl dad vibes ✨

Yoongi: 3. NOW I WANT TO CLEAR SOMETHING UP, there was an interview back in the day where the boys talked about how many kids they wanted and everybody said Yoongi said he only wanted one but that was a mistranslation he said he wanted at least “one boy”. So in my imagination Yoongi ends up being a girl dad and has two girls first 🤭 and then he tries for one more and ends up with a boy ✨

Hoseok: 2 to 3. Now with Jhope I see him as a boy dad idk why but I feel his first would be a boy. And since he has a sister he would want his son to have a sibling and then the next baby would be a boy. Now I say two to three cause in my head I imagine Jhope wanting at least both a girl and a boy so when he ends up with just two boys I think his decision on another baby would be up-to the mother of his boys. If he did have another his youngest would obviously be a girl 🤭

Namjoon: 3. A boy and a girl as his first in that order is what I picture Namjoon with. And I know you’re asking so why the 3? Well i’m glad you asked because the answer is… ✨an oops baby✨ his last baby would be an oops baby 🤭 i am taking no counter arguments to this because it would happen to him and I’d bet my left toe on it 😭 so with Namjoon his oops baby would be a boy, idk why I see him having only one daughter but thats what i came up with lol

Jimin: 4. Jimin is one out of two of the members who is having a bit of a bigger family, to me in my head. For him I see him having and even number of both boys and girls but he has two girls first and two boys last. Now idk why but I can absolutely see Jimin having twins 🥺 specifically twin girls 🤭

Taehyung: 5. Now… we all knew this was the answer for this man lmfaoo but truly he’s gonna have the biggest family out of all the members. I see him having more girls than boys but his first child would be a boy and his last would be a girl; so overall three girls and two boys ✨

Jungkook: 3. SOMETHING ABOUT JK RADIATES TWIN ENERGY. Like his partners first pregnancy is gonna be twins like boy and girl twins 🥺. And he’s gonna think he’s done and doesn’t want anymore but before his twins hit school age he’s gonna realize he misses the baby phase and is gonna want one more, and its gonna be a girl 🤭

Ok im done, and I just want to preface that this is all delusion in my head that came up as I was reading the pregnancy headcanons, I simply just wrote this for fun and nothing more lol ❤️ I’d love to hear y’alls thoughts tho

girl dad

seokjin: i almost said seokjin would be a boy dad but nah he's def girl dad like i can 100% see you coming home from work or the gym or something and you walk past your daughter room and seokjin in there with 2 ponytails complete with the bows like when he dressed up as the squid game doll at that one ptd concert he'd have that hair and a tutu on playing some kind of princess damsel in distress rescue game and you'd walk past the room make eye contact with him and he's just got this 'i actually need you to save me from this' look on his face and all you do is pull out your phone snap a pic and keep going so you can start on dinner i think he'd definitely have 2 kids the first one gon need someone to play with and it simply can't be both of y'all forever so he'd probably have a boy and a girl

yoongi: yoongi is a girl dad through and through i don't make the rules it just is what it is like it don't matter how many kids he end up with they're all gonna be girls but you know what for some reason i'm feeling like he's either gonna have 1 or like 4 like either the one is gonna be enough and your tubes getting tied or like you're just gonna keep popping em out like tostino's pizza rolls

jimin: you know what i really can see jimin ending up with 4 kids and i would give em to him too 😩🤞i think i can see him with 3 girls and a boy and i just have this image of all of them clinging and hanging off of him like newborn cats and idk why he would be a girl dad but he just would like he's so silly and goofy the girls would just absolutely love him and that's fine bc my son would be all up under me 😒

joonie: why i feel like all of joon chilren gon be "oops" babies on that kanye west "how you start a family the condom slipped up" type beat kslksksld and for some reason 3 really does feel right for him not for me but for him and i think there'd be a bit of an age gap too like i can see him having one little boy and he's gonna be so freaking cute like i got this picture in my head of joonie and the baby matching like he would get him little gray joggers and he'd have on a white onesie and cute tiny white nike airforce's to match joon and they'd be at the store and the baby would be holding on to his finger walking beside him and they'd have on the same fit and when y'all take the baby on an outing he'd put him on a little sweater vest and one of them newsboy hats oh my heart yeah <\3 anyway the age gap like y'all would have the first little boy and then 8-10 years of nothing and then y'all would end up having 2 back to back a girl then another boy

jk: tbh i just have this really strong image of jk roughhousing wit his son like throwing the kid around like a paper airplane and the kid would love it too be giggling and laughing don't even know his life is in peril he'd put him in lil track suits be real cute wit it and he would look just like him too big ole nose even bigger eyes would look somewhere between a blobfish and an anime character super adorable would take the kid to the park every weekend as long as the weather wasn't too inclement and play on the slides and swings and soccer with him like they'd just be so freaking active it's crazy you'd be tired enough for all 3 of y'all tho but anyway i feel like once the kid was old enough to go to school and jk couldn't pester him all day he'd pester you until you agreed to another one and i think it'd be a lil girl and he'd be the exact opposite with her 💀 all sweet and gentle acting like she could break at any second and would love dressing her up in fluffy glittery dresses and putting bows all over her but then she'd end up being just as rowdy as your first kid and he'd just about have a heart attack bc of it he'd still try to coax another one out of you once your daughter started school tho and that's when you'd have to ask him to go back to the park and find his mind bc you think he lost it

hobi: i can see hobi with either one or two kids like i feel like he'd plan to have 2 kids but then he'd want to wait for the right time to have the second one but then the right time never really comes or y'all will discuss it every now and again and you'll have the one and both be like ehhh idk it's a lot of work should we do it again naahhh but maybe 👁️ and then just never have another OR you'd have twins OR you'd have the two kids separately but they'd be like minimum five years apart bc you just want to make sure your they got the best of y'all EITHER WAY it really doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl or whatever combination bc hobi just gonna turn the child into a mini version of him decked out in designer always crazy patterns always layered up carrying lil acorn bags and a nice hat kids gonna love taking a pic for sure like it'll be a lil ball of personality for sure but also very disciplined like why hobi seem like he'd be kinda strict with it like the way he pushes himself he would definitely push his kids too not too much they would never feel too pressured or like they weren't good enough but he'd always make sure they'd be doing their best

a/n: i clearly got carried away here 🤠 also i really don't know why i would have 4 kids wit jimin and not the rest of em like i cannot explain logically the difference but the feeling is just there

About electricity and clean water and the accommodations and all the modern commodities? About the laws, rights, freedom? All the thing you can find in one place but not the other? About the nostalgia of their childhood realm? About what they think was better in the EF and was lost in our world?

Which world is favored by each member of the family? What would they want changed in it? If they end up there, what do they want to keep with them from the other world or to find a way to make it exist in their chosen world?

(Also, remember I haven't watched all the show yet)

Do you think that people from Storybrook having ended back in the EF used their knowledge of the other world to make progress in their realm? Like scientific et technical improvements and inventions. Did they advocated for changing the old laws to more progressive rights. Do you think the people could make a revolution to start a Republic? (à la française)

What kind of idea could people having lived in such different places could have had from this experience?

(Sorry that was a very long and poorly worded question. List of questions. Anyway. Sorry for this.)

woah. ok, im gonna try my best to answer this but no promises that’ll it actually be coherent lol

let’s just go down the list. (oh and if you haven’t watched the entire show yet, there’s a spoiler for s3 in the first point)

1. i think by season four, we see that everyone is pretty much totally ok with living in storybrooke instead of the enchanted forest, and honestly, i think it was that missing year when they had to go back that ultimately proved how much they really like our world. there’s plumbing, electricity, a life expectancy that’s longer than 40 years—honestly, i don’t think casting the curse in maine, in our world, was the worst place regina could’ve sent them, and i think they’re all pretty much aware of this fact by the end of s3.

2. i’m gonna preface this by saying i am extremely non-religious (thank you four years of religious trauma) so my answer might reflect that, but i don’t think anyone of them really care too much about religion. i think some of them (regina, belle, rumple) have probably studied it a bit, but that’s just for the knowledge and understanding. they believe in zeus and hades and all that—our world’s religions don’t really mean much to them, at least personally. as far as culture goes, i think most of them really like learning about the culture of this world (again, especially regina and belle, maybe rumple too—oh, and zelena). they want to know more about the place they live. it’s not like they’re going back to the enchanted forest, so they might as well learn about this world some more.

3. i don’t think capitalism really matters to them all that much because storybrooke doesn’t seem to really…fall under it in the same way? at least, not for this family. regina’s been saving money as mayor for the last 30 or so years, the curse made rumple rich. we don’t see any of them really have any issues with money. so, as far as this family goes, i don’t think they think about capitalism as much as we do. (everyone else in storybrooke might be a different story, but idk)

4. i think i answered the other ones already so i’m skipping to the nostalgia of their childhood realm. this really depends on who you’re talking about. regina had such a rough go of it in the enchanted forest, there probably isn’t much nostalgia for her. she’d probably like to not think about it much at all. david, on the other hand, had a lot of happy memories, so it probably means more to him to reminisce.

5. the only thing i can think of that might’ve been better in the enchanted forest was the hope. our world can be so much crueler, even with better living conditions. there was some idealized type of happiness in the enchanted forest that they don’t get here (i’m not saying there wasn’t heartbreak—there definitely was, it’s just the way some of them dealt with it—the way the realm as a whole dealt with it—was a little different), and that might be what they miss about it, but honestly, i think they all realize that those feelings the enchanted forest brought were sort of false and misleading. remember in s1 when grumpy said he needs his pain because it makes him who he is? i think, for some, that’s what our world does. it allows them to deal with their pain without feeling like it’s wrong, or like they should just be hopeful all the time. it’s more realistic. so, actually, the hope in the enchanted forest wasn’t better at all, but maybe it’s the thing some of them miss from time to time.

6. everyone in this family is happy and content with living in our world. living in storybrooke can occasionally be a different story, but they all like living in this realm better than the enchanted forest. this is home to them. i think, as time goes on, bits and pieces of life in the enchanted forest makes its way into storybrooke. little things, like sometimes granny will make a soup that was popular back in the enchanted forest, or the way you’ll look up into the sky and sometimes see a dragon. but overall, they like living here. the enchanted forest was home to them once, but now it’s more of a reminder as to why they continue to fight for their home in storybrooke, and why they actually really do love this town and this realm, even if they have to spend their entire lives protecting it.

7. i’ve never really thought much about what the people who have gone back gone back to the enchanted forest are doing there, but yeah, i would think they’d advocate for better rights and better conditions. i think the queen, for one, would definitely try to advance women’s rights after learning how truly messed up the way women in the enchanted forest are treated is at times.

Book review: Before your memory fades Toshikazu Kawaguchi

Just want to preface there WILL be spoilers so, dont read if you dont want spoilers.

OVERALL RATING: 8/10

Brief Description: A cafe that has an urban legend of going back in time where you immerse in a story in each chapter of people who are willing to go into the past. There are many rules on when going into the past; its strict. You only can stay in the past till the coffee gets cold and you could not change the past.

You read through 4 chapters of 4 people and what they deal with and how they cope with the death and the past.

My Personal Thoughts: When i tell you this book is sad. IT IS SAD. I had cried 3 times. 3 CHAPTERS. I would've cried on chapter 4 but i litreally was dried out completely. I think this book was hard to read at the start because i didnt really want to read it. It took me like 4 days to read it after i bought it and when i started i remeber thinking "Boringgggg" And then suddenly i finished chapter 1 and i was in tears.

The first chapter made me cry the most. Everytime there is a story that mentions a mother and daughter realitonship i am crushed.

I dont want to explain what happens because i think its good just going in it without any knowledge of it. But all i can say is you need to go into this blind, i went into it blind without knowing other than some reviews of some people crying on tiktok and i thought "ok dramatic" and then i started reading it and omgggggg. KILLED ME.

Its really worth reading. I think this is the highest i gave a book a rating. I dont think the ending was as satisfying as i wanted. I was like "omg wow! Theres gonna be a happy ending!?" And then i spoke to soon. I couldnt cry because I was laughing at how I had guessed right.

Second chapter also killed me aswell. The fact the dead wife was acting so kindly and trying to hold it in made me just bawl. It was really well written honestly because it was making me forget the chapters and pages, that i just was imaging the story and enjoying it every sentence.

Third chapter was pretty sad aswell. I dont have a sister or brother so i didnt think i would cry but i found it so devestating and this desperation after all the charcters would leave their loved ones just made it so heartbreaking.

Overall would reccommend to read it again. Would i reread it? Im leaning on yes but usually i dont like re reading books. Id like to re read a book that satisfys me everytime i read it and this is just sad, so probably woudlnt read the book unless I would wanna refresh my memory on it.

i first heard this song on a call with vic and robin actually. we watched the mv 3 times in a row. what is there to say..... something about this song. it's become a part of who i am. it's my mantra. it's a daily ritual. i sing it like other people meditate. it's my home and my comfort zone and my best friend. i don't think the record changed me, but it made me feel more like myself. if that makes sense. anyway watch this if you haven't
