I mean if you ever wanna go on anon to ask me something that's totally fine I get it, and also if you're ever worried about asking me something just know that if I ever don't want to answer a question for any reason (ie: the answer isn't something I want to divulge publicly, I don't feel comfortable talking about that subject, I feel like I just don't have a good answer, etc.) I just won't answer it. it doesn't mean I'm going to hold a grudge against someone who asks me something I don't wanna answer. I get it, people are curious or have questions or whatever and that's fine! if I don't wanna answer I simply won't and that doesn't mean I'm upset or annoyed or anything like that

okay advice time for travel + tattoos under the cut bc it got long

oh yeah I was gonna say you're from canada right? I think going through customs is a bit easier for US/Canadian citizens traveling between the two countries, but still good luck with the lines. other advice I have for traveling in another country solo... while you might consider getting your currency exchanged, almost everyone and everywhere takes card these days so as long as you have a card that can be used internationally (I believe mastercard and visa are pretty much usable in every country, although I'm sure if it's just between the US and Canada most cards are fine, just make sure to check). but also if you do wanna do currency exchange, wait until you're in the US to do that or else you'll get ripped off. once you're in the US just go to an ATM and withdraw cash from your bank account, and it'll come out in US dollars without the additional fee you'd get from going to a currency exchange place

OKAY TATTOO TIPS

I think most tattoo artists these days use second skin after giving someone a tattoo. it's basically a sticky thin sheet of plastic that the artist will put on top of the tattoo after it's finished, and usually your artist will instruct you to leave it on anywhere from 24 hours to several days. any artist worth their salt will properly explain how long to keep it on for, what to expect and look out for, etc. the second skin will protect the tattoo so you won't have to worry about it rubbing against fabric in the initial few days after getting it. although I'll say taking that stuff off is a BITCH it's like peeling a bandaid off but so much worse

however, your artist might not use second skin. out of my five tattoos, only two of the artists I've been to used second skin which is apparently unusual because from what I've heard from tattoo artists is that it's pretty much standard at this point to use it. however because only my latter two tattoos used second skin, I didn't realize that I have reactions to second skin that make it not suitable for me to use. you might have a reaction as well and that's ok! for me at least my reaction wasn't anything bad, it's just that I noticed a lot of redness around the second skin and when I took it off (earlier than I was supposed to) it left marks around my tattoo that didn't go away for 6 months. so yeah in the future if I go to an artist and they want to use second skin, I'm going to refuse because I've healed 3 tattoos perfectly fine without it. so if your artist doesn't use second skin (and tbh even if they do because you'll need this once you take the second skin off) buy some aquaphor. your artist is probably going to instruct you to wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap 2-3 times a day, and afterwards you should put a thin layer of aquaphor on top of the tattoo to protect it and soothe any dryness or scabbing. it might seem annoying to wash a tattoo so many times a day, but trust me once it starts scabbing you're going to want to wash it because it itches and the aquaphor calms it down.

having the tattoo on your ankle might be tricky since it's too cold to wear shorts, and the hem of your pants might rub against it. try to wear pants that are looser around your ankles (no skinny jeans or leggings) so that the fabric doesn't irritate it. and try to wear socks that don't touch the tattoo.

above all though, your tattoo artist should be able to tell you everything I just told you. don't be afraid to ask them questions. they want your tattoo to heal nicely bc that's their work! and just in general don't be shy to talk to your artist. my first two tattoos aren't bad by any means, but I don't love them because I was too anxious to properly communicate with my artist about what I wanted. don't be afraid to ask them to change something in the design, or if they put the stencil on and you want a different placement tell them! your artist is there to work with you so just talk to them :)

i'm usually a 1 fandom at a time gal but currently i'm writing for BTTF and Shazam and less frequently for the Witcher and Lord of the Rings!

SO i used to respond pretty frequently but then i spent a while writing in a very very tiny fandom where every single comment was cherished & i got out of the habit of replying bcos in my mind once i've replied to a comment it's 'finished' so living them unreplied to meant i could enjoy them for longer. and then i got out of the habit!! these days i tend to only reply if i have something to say but i am grateful for all of them <3

What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending

im not gonna link any of them but in my Merlin days i did write multiple fics about my OT3 killing each other. im fine thank you for asking.

huh i feel like this is harder to measure than the above?? hmmm. scrolling back through my recent-ish works, it isn't kind is pretty unabashedly fluffy.

ehhh i've had some rude comments but i wouldn't say hate

these days not so often!! have ended up in a string of found family type fandoms. but yeah i got uhh 65 fics rated E on the ao3. most of them are m/m occasional f/f or f/m.

im more into fusions which is a different thing! but have on occasion written crossovers.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

yeah actually, had a fic taken once by someone who was habitually translating fics into a different language & posting them without acknowledging the original. i think they got reported but i don't really remember who it shook out!

Have you ever had a fic translated?

yeah quite a lot of times! u can see translations of my fics on ao3 here. disproportionately russian? i assume there's just a lot of russian fic translators out there!

NOT for 1 million years but yes i have

i'm actually still sitting on a second doctor wip that at this point i think is a lost cause. i sent the opening scene (fake out character death lol) to some people on discord a while ago just to torment them.

im monolingual so i don't think i'd do this without assistance from a native speaker. i've actually published (like, professionally) a piece of fiction w some dialogue in another language and to my eternal gratitude some of my tumblr followers assisted me with the translation <3

summary: Jeon Jungkook a.k.a the hottie neighbor next door (or at least that's what Sooyoung your bff likes to call him) has broken up with his girlfriend...for the hundredth time. Ever since you became friends he's always been there for you and now the least you could do is be there for him, right?

pairing: neighbor!jungkook x college student!reader

warnings: Four age gap(?, mentions of alcohol, use of drugs (weed), mentions of feeling drunk/tipsy.

You let yourself fall against Sooyoung's bed, you were all set to go out since she was finally free from all her chores, you were invited to Ennik's birthday, she was a good friend of yours and you couldn't wait to get there.

"How long will it take you to decide? it's been 2 hours now!" you shouted.

"I have to make the right choice! what if I end up regretting it afterwards?" she shouted from her closet.

"hurry up!" your phone started vibrating and a message notification popped u.

Jungkook sent a picture of his puppy wearing two different costumes, one was a cute Monsters Inc. costume and the other one was a teddy bear-like pijamas.

You smiled at the cute pictures.

"Not you smiling while typing on your phone" Sooyoung says raising her eyebrows at you.

"No i'm not" you say "just...puppy pictures"

"yeah right i don't believe you...anyway, i'm ready" she says stepping on her high heels and checking herself on the mirror.

"finally!" you stand up and fix your dress and the unbuttoned shirt you was wearing over it.

"are we getting a Lyft?" Sooyoung asks.

"i'm already on it" you say typing on your phone.

Dim lights were placed all over the place, you could barely move among the people dancing in the living room, it felt like a frat party since the whole campus seemed to be there. Ennik was a social butterfly and knew everyone, she was so nice and outgoing, you were good friends with her.

"My girls! you're here!" Ennik shouts once she finds you wrapping you two in a hug.

"your place looks amazing!" you tell her.

"baby i told everyone it was euphoria themed they better get it right" Ennik says smiling.

"they did don't worry" you answer.

"well, please make yourselves comfortable, mi casa es su casa, ok?" she gives you a couple of sparkly bracelets.

"thanks hun" Sooyoung says.

And so the night begins...

Sooyoung and you were drinking mojitos, you really wanted to enjoy the night and get a bit drunk since it was a good occasion, Ennik promised that if you and Sooyoung ended up too drunk you could stay the night, so you were chill about it.

The music was loud you could even feel your chest vibrating along the beat, Sooyoung and you were having fun and it's been so long since you went to a party where you didn't feel the need to watch out for creeps, it was you and your friends acting silly due the alcohol and you couldn't be more comfortable. You were dancing to DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love by Usher and the place was full of smoke making you dizzy but not in a bad way.

"Baby tonight, the dj got us falling in love again!" the whole room screamed.

You took another sip of your fourth mojito of the night, you won't lie, you were drunk by now but you loved dancing, mostly because all your friends were there, at some point you thought your feet were about to fall off, so you told Sooyoung you were gonna go take some air, she nodded and told you she would follow you in a minute.

You walked out of the circle and headed to the backyard were the rest of the people were smoking and swimming in the pool, yes...in the middle of December.

"Yn!" you heard a guy's voice and turned around.

It was Ben, he was Sooyoung's cousin close to you both and he was majoring in logistics.

"Hey! i didn't know you were here!" you hug him.

"i didn't know you were here either, where's Sooyoung?" he says smiling.

"She's still inside but she'll be here in a min" you tell him.

"Alright, wanna sit with us while you wait for her?" he offers pulling away from the hug.

"Sure!" he helped you walk straight to the tiny circle on the ground.

There were a few people passing the joint around and you couldn't help but cough once you sat down and breathed the smoke.

"Never tried before?" says the tall guy next to Ben, you didn't remember his name.

You shook your head.

"Wanna try?" he offered.

"Don't make her do it if she doesn't want to" Ben tells the guy.

"No, it's okay, i'm curious" you say with a funny face.

"Take it easy okay?" Ben says.

You nod and took the joint on your fingers, you swoop but fail terribly and start coughing, Ben taps your back and the other guy takes the joint from your hand.

"Not so bad but definitely not good" he smirks "i like you"

You look at him and take the joint from his hand again.

"I'm gonna try one more time hang on..." you say making him giggle.

"alright then" he replies.

"yn, take short-..." Ben gaves up once you take the joint to your mouth again "nevermind"

After a few more times you finally learned how to do it properly and Ben was looking out for you the whole time since you were like family to him.

Time passed and now you were playing the dumb and cliché game of truth or dare, everything seemed funny to you, it was the first time you tried weed and you could tell the most random confessions that made everybody "aw" at you.

"ok, yn's turn" Yuhno, one of the guys in the circle, said "truth or dare?"

"she's only picking truth make her do a dare!" the girl next to him said. laughing.

"alright, dare or dare?" he says, making a funny but serious face.

"dare i guess..." you say with your eyes half closed.

"i dare you to call the last person you texted and tell them you're so horny you might take your clothes off in the middle of the street" he says with a smirk.

"aw man that's so explicit" you cry.

"well make it your own but you have to tell them that" he replies.

"shit...fine" you spit.

Everything on your phone was blurry and you hardly managed to look at the time, 3:35 AM and you prayed for that last contact to ignore the call so you wouldn't embarrass yourself.

You scratched your eyes softly and tap on the name, everybody looked at you paying attention to each of your moves.

Two beeps went by and by the third one you heard a raspy voice picking up...

"Yn?" Jungkook says sounding so sleepy.

You were about to say something but Yuhno shushes you reminding you that you couldn't give any explanations.

You sighed louder than you expected "uhm...i'm...so hot jun..i wil take all my clothes off right here and right now..." you hardly say.

Everyone tried to hold their laughs and you swore you felt like dozing off.

"yn? are you okay? where are you?" Jungkook sounds worried.

"i'm wonderful and i'm so horny i will-..." you were cut off by him.

"don't move i'm picking you up, don't do anything silly...please" he hangs up and all you could hear is 'beeps'.

Ben and his friends start laughing and you were still confused by the last thing Jungkook said.

He's was going to what?!?

Half an hour passed and now you were sitting on a sofa, everything was moving and blurry and even though Ben said he was going to bring some food so you could feel better it felt like an eternity to you, exhausted you were beginning to feel you eyelids heavier and heavier as minutes passed and suddenly you couldn't fight the urge to pee.

You stand up and make your way upstairs, a bunch of bodies later you found the bathroom door at the end of the hallway and opened it, for your luck, it was still clean and empty.

You managed to pull up your dress and pull down your panties which by the way were your nicest lingerie since they were the ones that were not noticeable with the tight dress you chose.

Once you finished fixing your clothes you slowly washed your hands trying your best not to fall, the sound of the doorknob trying to open scared you for a sec.

"i'm almost done" you whisper.

But the impatience of the person on the other side of the door kept on growing.

"i said i'm almost done!" you shout.

Once you dried your hands you finally opened the door, you found a couple of worried and familiar eyes in front of you and when you were about to scream his name you lost your balance, luckily he grabs your waist and pulls you closer to him just in time.

He really came...

He was wearing a black hoodie, his hair was messy making him look so handsome.

"Careful" he says, you could smell his usual cologne and you automatically relaxed on his arms.

"What are you doing here?" you managed to say trying you best to sound sober.

"This is how we say 'hi' now kiddo?" he replies with his hand still on your waist.

"mhm" you nod "i'm tired"

"you smell like weed" he giggles "were you smoking?"

"i wanted to know what it felt like" you smile with a sleepy face, your cheeks were blushed and he couldn't help but thank you were not in trouble "want some?"

"maybe another time kiddo" he pinches your chin making you scrunch your nose "let's go home"

He helps you out, never leaving your waist, you felt your feet heavier but still tried your best to keep walking, when you finally got out of the house you felt the cold air hitting your face and body, Jungkook noticed you and held you closer to him wrapping his arms in yours.

"we're almost there" he whispered.

You spotted his car a few feet away and once you were inside you wrapped the unbuttoned shirt around you.

On the way back you were humming the songs on the radio, trying your best to not fall asleep and mostly because you felt hungry out of nowhere and you were dizzy as hell.

By the time you arrived you were half asleep and Jungkook had to carry you all the way to your door.

"What's your password?" he asks.

"090...on-..." you stop.

"i'm gonna need the rest of the numbers" he says looking at the keyboard.

"i think i'm gonna..." and before you could say anything else everything went black.
