My Thoughts on the KNB English Dub (Season 2)
if you haven’t seen my thoughts on season 1 yet, here’s a link here!
Taken from my season 1 post:
Of course, I prefer watching sub over dub for anime series, but I’m no stranger to the English VA industry, as I’ve played huge RPG games with fantastic English dub casts! I guess I’m mentioning this here to let you know that I’m quite impartial to the dub vs sub fiasco, and if it sounds good or not I’ll say it as such
- first off: the opening for the winter cup arc is different where they used scenes to indicate the yosen match with seirin instead of showing Kuroko’s ignite pass kai. LOVE this new opening more, it’s way more dynamic and so cool while showing off all of the Seirin members in action instead of just Kuroko???
- KAGAMI sounds so much better in season 2!! omg, he sounds really identical to the sub and I’m living for it god bless, he truly sounds like he hails from america LMAO
- Kuroko REALLY SHINES when he gets super passionate when talking about winning after Imayoshi told him “try again next year” in a nutshell like that GRIT IN THE VOICE CHEF KISS
- can we literally talk about the goldmine of the Seirin team, including the benchers?? THEIR BANTER IS SO UNMATCHED AND HILARIOUS I LITERALLY DAMN NEAR PEED MY PANTS LAUGHING (listen to the dialogues in the background esp when the bench players start saying random shit LMAO)
- shoutout to Furihata, Izuki, and Koganei in the dub 10000000/10
- Teppei and Hyuga get their own honorable mentions because damn they are so damn good in the dubs, their interactions/dialogue/chemistry in the dub is, even dare I say, better than the sub
- I lied, Izuki also gets an honorable mention for his puns, I actually find them so funny, someone help me----????
- I’m literally so glad the dub actually highlights how truly weird Teppei is; most people just completely overlook his actual character because there’s only so much subs can do to convey his weird oddities (aka I’m tired of these Teppei fics misrepresenting and butchering his character 😭)
- I knew GREATNESS was gonna happen when Robbie Daymond was gonna voice Murasakibara; sure it’s not “deep enough” like the sub, but to be fair, the dub’s voice fits his childishness so damn well like the “quadrabrow” line on Kagami still sends me to NO END or when he gets pouty and petulant, the dub nails it 100% “what’s going on with your eyebrows dude? why do they like... split?” when he says “Kuro-chin” WHEN KUROKO MADE THE SHOT PAST HIM, IT SOUNDED SO IDENTICAL AND OMG--? And WHEN HE ANGRILY SAYS “KAGAMI”?? AND WHEN HE GETS MAD IN THE GAME AND PLAYS OFFENSIVE, HE SOUNDS UGH CHEFS KISS DIVINE
- Aomine’s voice is okay, I like it---the dialogue they give him is so fucking funny, this man roasts people while he’s trying to explain what’s happening on the court, i-- (SOUNDS AMAZING when hes on the court esp Seirin vs Touou game)
- MIDORIMA ALSO TRULY IMPROVED HIS DUB PERFORMANCE IN SEASON 2!!! HIM AND TAKAO TOGETHER BANTERING IS ALSO FUNNY AS SHIT IN THE DUB, i literally ASCEND when these two get screentime
- Kise.... kise.... my baby... I’ve grown to have mixed feelings about you in the dub-- one moment, he gives me not enough theatrics and sounds a bit serious at times, the next moment, especially when he’s getting his ass beat by Kasamatsu complaining about something, or when he’s flustered in hearing how Kasamatsu said Seirin was done for in the Touou game, he sounds SUPER GOOD----the pronunciations of the (name)-cchi’s... it hurts every time, but I understand the voice director was trying to adhere to the anglosaxon english pronunciations of the Japanese names (happens to nearly all dubs regardless sadly :((, so I can’t fault the voice actor here) actually, dub Kise gives me more of manga Kise vibes more than anything (the mangaka might favor the dub casting more for Kise in that case) Momoicchi Aominicchi and Akashicchi sound fine though, it’s just Kurokocchi sounds janky
- dub Hanamiya,..... took me by surprise, whoever casted for his dub needs a damn raise... thats all I’ll say before @seijurosempress decides to have any funny ideas about Hanamiya being the “perfect one for me” (i will strangle you)
- dub Hara 14/10, that’s all I’ll say
- dub Imayoshi..... when he gets all low and sinister and schemey, my heart stops, my pants drop, and my breathing stops (.... I wish his voice was deeper...especially when he speaks all politely and cheery normally.......... Just... a bit, please....) -- mixed feelings about him :(( i cant believe I like dub Hanamiya more--
- HELP WHY IS THE DUB FOR RIKO’S DAD MF ZHONGLI AND SHIDO I CANT TAKE THIS MAN SERIOUSLY IM SERIOUSLY LAUGHING
- I’M SO HAPPY WITH DUB SAKURAI, I TRUST GRIFFIN BURNS WITH MY ENTIRE HEART WHEN IT COMES TO PERFORMANCE
- Moriyama sounds great too?? he sounds super good
- Alex deadass just sounds the same I’m shocked LMAO (edit: i searched her seiyuu up, it’s the EXACT SAME VA HOLY SHIT)
- HIMURO’S DUB WHEN HE CALLED OUT “Please stop your deeply-problematic habit” WHEN SHE TRIED TO SMOOCH HIM ON SIGHT HELP THE DUB JUST CALLS IT OUT SO GOOD // his voice is so smooth, elegant, and deep-- when he calls out “Atsushi” in a panic in the game he sounds THE SAME?? EMOTIONAL HIMURO AFTER HE PUNCHES MURASAKIBARA SOUNDS SO GOOD I CANT BREATHE
- YOSEN MEMBERS’ AND THE COACH DUB MWAH THEY’RE SO GOOD (Liu sounds abnormally deep tho wtf but oh well)
- Akashi... I can’t put my finger on him yet? I can’t find the episode where he first debuts in the beginning of the Winter Cup because gogoanime can’t replay those early episodes... and I don’t have netflix... because yeah I don’t have money--BUT ANYWAYS, my opinion of him is currently “inoffensive” but we’ll see in season 3? pssssst if anyone in the US wants to help me out with the netflix plugin.......
- I would just love to add in the appreciation for the translators and localizers for the dub? I know my subtitles near 95% (I kinda have to when I write dialogue for characters), and near all of them are exactly on the money. Sometimes the dub matches the subtitles word for word too which is insanely impressive given the lip flaps and timing of the dialogue---but yeah hats off to the cast who worked on the dub!! We shall see in season 3 and the last game movie (if i can find and access them;;) how the dub performs~~

Lavender Secrets by SailorHikarinoMu
Kuroko was the one to bring out his true love for basketball, which had been hidden from prying eyes since the beginning. It was one of those things he was unsure whether he should feel grateful for, but all the same, it did mean something. What this 'something' was, exactly? Murasakibara did not know. Not yet.

Hanamiya Makoto/Kuroko Tetsuya
Scotomas by Darkenedcrystal
After the game against Jabberwock, Kagami goes overseas and Kuroko finds himself without a light. A slightly angsty, rather light-hearted story about what happens to Kuroko after Kagami leaves. Features teens finding their way around life, Seirin without a light, the Generation of Miracles being a family, the teens finding love and appreciating the heartbreaks. Kuroko tries to find his own style without a light, and stumbles into the darkness that is Hanamiya Makoto instead. Extra chapter added!
love this fic so much. downside: akashi is kinda a dick
Of Unlikely Friendships, Sneaky Bets, Shogi and Sake by itsthechocopuff
Imayoshi had introduced his two favourite kouhai to each other as an experiment. He did not predict they'd get along so well, both being shadows, but they did, and they worked, oddly enough. Hanamiya brought out the worst in Kuroko, while Kuroko brought out the the best in the other; and they both caused heartattacks to unsuspecting teammates who could not believe their darling shadow was not as innocent as he seemed.
you wont regret reading this one omg

Omg this is such a cute request!! No worries anon, I understand you perfectly!
This will be separated into two parts, so part one will feature Rakuzan, Shutoku, and Kaijo.
Puppy Love! Part 1: Rakuzan, Shutoku, and Kaijo
Rakuzan
Mibuchi shivers, wrapping his arms around his body. “…I feel like someone’s watching us.” he states, before eyeing Mayuzumi suspiciously.
“I’m not. You’re not my type.” Mayuzumi’s deadpan answer earns a snort from Nebuya.
“You afraid of ghosts or something, Reo?” Nebuya teases, laughing when the black haired basketball player humphs angrily, hands on his hips.
“I’m not scared of ghosts!”
“Reo-nee, ghosts are scary though!” Hayama shivers. “What if it’s a vengeful ghost that died in this gym or something years ago?!”
“They say if it knows your name, it’ll kill you.”
“Chi-chan??? Where’d you hear that?!” Mibuchi yelps, hands pressed to his chest. “No one say my name out loud!!”
“Mibuchi Reo.” Mayuzumi snaps, ignoring Mibuchi’s pained cry. “I read it in one of my light novels.”
“Arf.”
“WAHHH!!!” Mibuchi screams, and Hayama manages to leap out of the way at the last minute before Mibuchi completely crashes into the shorter male.
“Reo-nee, what on earth…” Hayama laughs, before noticing the new arrival at the entrance of the gym. “Is that…a dog?”
“Arf.” The dog replies with a bark. It was hard to explain, but the dog appeared to be calmly appraising the scene, sitting back on its haunches.
“Woah, look at its eyes!” Nebuya raced forward, peering down at the dog. “It’s got a red eye and a yellow one!”
The others all observed the dog, finally noticing the mismatched, heterochromatic orbs.
“…It reminds me of Akashi.” Mayuzumi finally murmurs.
“Woah, he really does!!” Hayama agreed. There was something rather majestic in the way that the white german shepard carried itself.
“Comparing me to a dog now, are you?”
“Eek…” The members all froze as they heard their captain approaching them from behind. “But it’s cute, Sei-chan!”
“I recall leaving you all to your training.” Akashi’s eyes flash briefly as he meets Mibuchi’s gaze. “I expected Eikichi, Reo, and Hayama to be up to these ridiculous things…but you as well, Chihiro?”
“…”
“Hm. Get back to training, unless you’d like to stay for an extra set.”
The threat is powerful enough for the members to quickly return to their practice, while Akashi remains, looking over his team.
“You there.” Akashi’s eyes flicker downwards, meeting the heterochromatic eyes of the dog sitting in front of him. “I expect you to behave as well, if you wish to stay.”
“…Arf.”
Shutoku
“Shin-chan, over here!!”
“Woah, good hit Shin-chan!”
Midorima could feel his frustration growing as he shot the basketball in his hand, tsking at it glanced off the side of the rim before making it through the basket. “Must you guys continue calling it by that ridiculous name?”
“He likes it though!” Takao replied, holding up the dark haired puppy in his hands. “His eyes are sooooo cute!!”
It was by chance that the Shutoku members had discovered the dark haired puppy lingering outside the gym. It was even more interesting when they watched the puppy blink, eyes as green as Midorima’s hair. And thus…
“We’ll call you Shin-chan!!!” Takao had declared, and the other Shutoku members only found the situation amusing. Well, everyone but the puppy’s name sake, of course.
“Everyone seems a bit more excited.” Otsubo comments, watching his team clamoring for the puppy’s attention. “It’s a morale booster. So, please put up with it.”
“Huh? Where ya going Shin-chan?” Takao questioned as the puppy wiggled out of his hold, jumping onto the ground.
“Arrrrf.”
“What.” Midorima glared, staring down the puppy that had walked up to him, sitting at his feet.
“Arrf. Arrf.” The puppy seemed to chastise him, causing Midorima to bristle with annoyance. “I refuse to acknowledge you.” Midorima harrumph, pushing up his glasses with his left hand.
“Arrrf!”
“Woah, look at that thing jump!” Miyaji’s voice was incredulous as the puppy managed to jump up, smacking his paw against Midorima’s left hand.
Midorima stared down at the puppy who was meeting his gaze with it’s large, emerald-green eyes.
Turning back to the basket, Midorima threw the ball, this time making a perfect swish as it fell through the net.
“Arf.” The puppy seemed to be proud of itself, and Midorima swore it was smirking
“It wasn’t because of you.”
“Aww, look at the two Shin-chans getting along!!”
Kaijo
“You’re so cute!!” Kise squealed, holding the golden-fur puppy in his arms.
“Arf arf!!” The puppy wagged its tail excitedly, golden orbs sparkling in delight as he licked Kise’s face.
Kise felt his heart swell at the ball of fluff that had appeared in their gym, barking and tail wagging as it enthusiastically ran around the gym with the team as they warmed up for practice.
Letting the puppy down, Kise watched as he started bumping the basketballs with its paws, swatting and pushing the ball along the floor.
“What an adorable puppy. Girls like puppies, don’t they?” Moriyama’s eyes glimmered in interested as he leaned down towards the excitable puppy. “You and I shall go and meet some girls!!”
“Don’t be teaching the puppy weird things, baka!” Kobori snarled, pushing the back of Moriyama’s head.
“Arf arf!”
“But it wants to go, don’t you?” Moriyama cooed as the puppy continued barking, it’s little body trembling in excitement.
“God, this thing’s even more hyper than you, Hayakawa!”
“I won’t lose!!”
“Don’t pick a fight with a puppy, damnit!” Kobori sighed, watching Hayakawa staring down at the puppy with angry eyes.
Completely ignorant of the death glare he was receiving, the puppy only continued bouncing around, tilting its head cutely as it looked up at the members surrounding it.
“So cute so cute so cute!!” Kise continued squealing, before looking for his phone. “I need pictures!!”
“What is the big deal here?!” Kise yelped as Kasamatsu kicked him in the back of his legs. “Get back to practice!”
“Puppy-chan, don’t go to the scary mean person!” Moriyama cried out as the puppy suddenly took off in Kasamatsu’s directly, immediately pawing at the captain’s shorts.
“Why is there a dog here…” Kasamatsu grumbled, picking up the puppy by its scruff as he held it in front of his face. Suddenly, the puppy stuck out its tongue, licking the captain’s nose again and again.
“Oh no!” Kise yelled, scared that Kasamatsu was going to hurt the puppy. Instead…
“Tickles…” Kasamatsu pulled away from the puppy, setting him on the floor gently. “Hm. Guess you’re not too bad.”
“Yip!” Running circles around Kasamatsu’s feet, the puppy barked happily.
“..No fair, why can’t you treat me like that?!?” Kise whined, narrowly dodging another one of Kasamatsu’s famous kicks.
“Because you’re an annoying dumbass!”

CHAPTER THREE
                                       ~ x JUDGMENT x ~
"So you admit you were following her?" Sae asked Makoto as she crossed her legs in the other direction. "You know stalking is a crime."
The student brushed off the black vest she wore over her white shirt. Clearly it was just a nervous habit; an attempt to appear more presentable. "And yet it's part of your job, Sis."
"It is. Not part of yours."
"Fine. But I didn't have any…" Her shoulders rose and fell. "There was no way to tell if I was completely crazy, a-and Ren was just a good person concerned about his teacher, or if… if she was doing something unspeakable with him. And after Kamoshida…"
At last, Sae let her eyes fall closed for a moment. "Alright. So you believe you have good intentions. I'll grant you that - and only that so far. But I'm going to need to hear more and you know that."
"Yes, I understand. So where was I? Right… the fresh lead."
                                      ~ x The Priestess x ~
Ms. Kawakami and myself steered clear of each other for a few days. It was good to see that she was back in school and teaching again, despite whatever trouble had befallen her thanks to those two horrible people. I really wished I could help, and I wanted to ask Ren, but there was no way I could do that without revealing to him that I had followed him to the hospital and eavesdropped. Not that this was anything new for me, but I still felt too guilty to come forward.
So I left it alone for a while. But eventually…
"Hey, bro," Ryuji whispered to Ren just after one of our little… gatherings. And his whispers aren't particularly quiet.
"Hm?"
"About that thing… with Victoria." His dyed-yellow spikes barely wobbled atop his head as he glanced around, but I appeared to be nose-deep in a book and Ann had already skipped off to do something else, so he decided the two of them were relatively 'safe'. "You're really not gonna give me any details?" Ren shook his head. "Aww, man…"
Ren muttered something back that I couldn't quite overhear. He was better at being discreet than the "monkey", as another of our friends calls Ryuji on a regular basis.
"But you actually got to talk to her, dude! Like, what's that like? Y'know, with the kinda things she does?" His eyebrows waggled. "Special services! Ehhh?"
By this point, Ren looked like he would really prefer the conversation to be over. So he said something a little quieter, a little longer, and Ryuji gradually started to look like a boy who found out the video game he wanted was all sold out at the store.
"Fiiiiiine, keep your friggin' secret. Just sayin', Becky sounded really hot! And you got to hang out with her alone because Mishima an' me choked! Why couldn't I keep my shit together, man?! UGHHH…"
That was it. And alone, the piece meant nothing to me; I assumed Ren, Ryuji, and for some reason Yuuki Mishima of all people had run into some cute girls named Becky and Victoria - maybe they were Westerners visiting? - and had hit on them, and then the other two ran off to leave Ren fending for himself. Even if I didn't know what they meant by "special services", I decided it was probably some disgusting boy euphemism for activities I didn't want to think very deeply about.
The very next day was a Saturday. Ms. Kawakami still looked weary, but not quite as bone-tired as she had before her brief hospital stay. And she still seemed the same way as I followed her out of the building. This time, it was by coincidence, not design; I had been busy studying in the library and lost track of time. It was just starting to edge into the evening by then.
And I wanted to call out to her. In fact, I started to speed up my steps and do exactly that. There had to be something I could say to show her I didn't mean her any harm; that if she wasn't hurting anyone, wasn't taking advantage of Ren, then we had no problem and I wanted to help if I could.
Before I could, her phone rang. And as she rounded the corner, her voice changed when she answered; became higher.
Bubblier.
"Hiiii, this is Becky! Did you call to request li'l ol' me again?" There was a slight pause, and then she giggled in a way I had never, ever heard a teacher giggle before. "Wonderful, Master! Laundry with Becky's extra-special fluff and fold, meeeeYOW! Do you have my usual fee ready?" Another pause. "Great! Don't worry, I will be there very soon! Byeeeeee!"
As Kawakami thumbed the touchscreen to end the call, I could do nothing but stand there as if turned to stone by Medusa, watching my teacher hang her head in weariness and shame. What did I just hear? Who did I just hear? "Becky" bore absolutely no resemblance to the woman who normally slogged her way through our classes as if she could really use some of Cafe Leblanc's specialty brew - the one standing before me now, who looked like she wanted to climb down the sewer grating and disappear.
And furthermore… no way was it a coincidence that was the same name Ren and Ryuji had been talking about.
Now I had to know what was going on. That whole conversation sounded like something very specific, and it made me worry about her… but I couldn't be sure. And the last thing I wanted to do was throw around more unfounded accusations.
Which is how I ended up following her.
The subway took us another stop along before she got off. Even though she did glance in my direction once or twice, my magazine shot up to hide my face often enough that she never quite realised I was following her. Then she went inside and I was left to loiter. I needed to turn to a friend - and since I was fairly certain Eiko Takao, the flightiest girl I have ever known, would be of no use to me…
QUEEN: Hey do you have a sec?
PANTHER: What? Omg you never text me Mako-chan PANTHER: What's up? 8D
It was hard not to be intimidated by Ann's overabundance of enthusiasm. Just made it feel too daunting and like I would be better off if I threw my phone away. But I tried not to let my nerves keep me from responding.
PANTHER: Hellooooooooo? QUEEN: I think I'm doing something bad
PANTHER: Something bad? PANTHER: ARE YOU ON A DATE PANTHER: Who is it? Joker? No wait, no way… QUEEN: It's not a date PANTHER: RYUJI?! PANTHER: Oh QUEEN: Seriously does Ryuji seem like my type? PANTHER: LMAO okay maybe not QUEEN: It's not a date it's something else PANTHER: Huh? PANTHER: Hey… it's nothing life threatening is it? PANTHER: Please QUEEN: Whoa whoa no PANTHER: I can't go through that again PANTHER: Okay good QUEEN: I'm sorry PANTHER: DON'T FREAK ME OUT LIKE THAT PANTHER: No no you're good friendo 3
QUEEN: Maybe this was a mistake PANTHER: Huh? PANTHER: Omg just tell me already QUEEN: Well QUEEN: I think one of our teachers is up to something strange QUEEN: And I followed them
My eyes glanced up toward the apartment building's door when some man walked inside, and I swallowed hard, waiting for Ann to reply. At least I had managed to say 'them' instead of 'her', so she wouldn't know it was Kawakami. Or Ms. Chouno, but still, the list of female teachers was shorter.
PANTHER: Something strange? PANTHER: Kamoshida strange? Because if it is PANTHER: I want in QUEEN: Well… I don't think that's it? QUEEN: Please listen PANTHER: It's not? QUEEN: I'm close to the Akasaka-Mitsuke station QUEEN: And I'm waiting to see if I'm right about something PANTHER: Dude you're being pretty sketchy PANTHER: But it sounds like PANTHER: You're worried? Like really for real? QUEEN: Yes. QUEEN: I think this teacher is being blackmailed PANTHER: Blackmail?
Just then, the door opened, and I had to close the text and raise my magazine to hide my face again. But it wasn't Miss Kawakami who came out, anyway; it was a woman in sleek black pigtails and a French maid uniform. She seemed totally at home walking around like that; probably had regular hours in one of the maid cafes in Akihabara or somewhere. While she stood at the curb, I started to go back to reply to Ann's incoming messages…
The maid glanced my way, waiting impatiently for her cab. And she felt familiar. Recognition was already making the hair on the back of my neck stand on end before my conscious mind sorted it out.
"Wait," I breathed softly as a car pulled up. It had a pink banner on the side of it, proudly proclaiming "VICTORIA Housekeeping Services" in bold red letters. My thumb was already activating the camera app as I watched the maid approach the back door and open it, bowing and saying something to the driver before slipping inside and away. I was able to get one or two shots of her, then of the car.
And she was gone before my brain fully realised what had just happened. "Was that… Kawakami?!"
                                      ~ o ~
In practically no time, I was standing around in the underground mall below Shibuya station - "Shibuchika" as it's called. Looking for Ann. Eventually, she waved me over to the flower shop she was poking around in.
"So?! What's up, what's the story, what's the dirt?!"
My hands came up to ward her off as I laughed nervously. "Okay, okay. Wow! Let me catch my breath. Can we get some boba or something first?"
"Sure, let's grab some aojiru. I'm trying to be healthier, for my modelling career? And like, I keep getting it pointed out to me that all I eat is crap."
"It won't kill us to be healthier, I suppose," I admitted as she steered me to the stairs.
Aojiru is… interesting. Greenish sludge in a glass that is full of nutrients but bitter and unpleasant. Still, we ordered two cups of Beauty Aojiru to hopefully make us more radiant, and shelled out ¥5000 for the pleasure.
"Bottom's up!" Ann laughed, clinking her plastic cup against mine. "The things we do for beauty!"
Passerby seemed alarmed at how much we were gagging afterward. Still, we managed to finish the drinks and then found a bench somewhere to sit and catch our breaths.
"I can… feel the burn!" she finally announced in a strangled gasp.
"R-right! So refreshing!"
Bracing against her knees, she took in a few strong breaths and let them out slowly. Then she sat back and smiled over at me, tears at the corners of her eyes.
"Okay, spill, girl. What's this crazy mission you went on, what did you find out?"
"Well…" I still felt really guilty for following Kawakami in the first place, and if she was truly an innocent victim, would feel even worse exposing such a secret. "Let's just say… her name is Becky."
"Becky?!" Her blue eyes narrowed in thought for a moment before she shook her head. "No Becky I remember hearing of on the Shujin Academy faculty."
"It's not her real name. Anyway, here's what I know so far…"
So I told her. Not everything, obviously, because I didn't want to out Ren or Kawakami until I was absolutely sure of the situation. But I filled in all of the other details I knew so far. That cartoonish face I was beginning to grow so fond of went through a million transformations - shock, disgust, sadness. But she seemed to feel roughly the same about the situation as I did.
"Well we can't do nothing, Mako-chan. Those two creeps are shaking her down for money! Totally exploiting her!"
"Exactly! I'm not sure what that student's connection is, but even without that…"
Ann nodded, arms tightly folded over her chest. All I had told her about Ren was that some student I knew was in frequent contact with 'Becky'. "There's a big problem here, though."
"Oh? What's that?"
"How are you supposed to ask her for details if she doesn't wanna talk to you? Like, I completely get that you wanna protect her identity, cuz you don't know for sure that she's hurting anybody. And if she's not... Becky is just in trouble and you don't wanna hurt her more."
My nod must have been sadder than I myself realized, because I suddenly felt a gentle hand resting on my shoulder. Smiling up at her, I whispered, "You're right. What she has to go through... it makes me sick thinking about it. So I need all the answers before I make a move."
"Sure, yeah. And… well, I could ask her for you, but then you'd have to tell me who she is. Same for any of the guys - and she'd prolly hate the idea of talking to them anyway."
"True," I said, even though Ren came to mind again. But Ann didn't need to know that. "So what can I do? Camp outside her front doorstep and confront her when she gets home? It would embarrass her too much. Right out there in the street like that!"
"Hell yeah, it would," she sighed, sitting back and staring up at the ceiling as commuters passed by us, off to destinations unknown. "But… what if…"
My ears perked up. "What if…?"
Ann held up her index finger as she looked at me, eyes wide and lips slowly beginning to stretch into a smile. "What if she didn't talk to Makoto?"
"Huh? Sorry, I'm… didn't we just say it has to be me, since I would be betraying her to tell any of you?"
"Yeah, but also nah. Okay, since you're the student council president, you've got the keys all sorts of parts of the school, right?"
Squirming, I held up a hand as I told her, "I'm not breaking into the teacher's office and waiting to ambush her."
"No, no! Let me see your phone again." I handed it over, and she wasted no time pulling up the pictures I have hastily snapped. Luckily, none of them showed Ms. Kawakami's face - or it was too blurry and far away to tell it was her. "Victoria, huh?"
Now Ann was pulling out her own phone and looking up something. Then she took a picture of her screen with mine and handed it back.
"'Victoria Housekeeping'," I read. "Wait… what are you-"
"We gotta hurry," she said as she popped up, grabbing my hand and yanking me to my feet so fast that I almost dropped my phone to the ground. "If we don't hurry up, we'll run out of time!"
"Time for what?!" I protested as I stumbled after her. "Ann, slow down! ANN!"
                                      To Be Continued…

What GOM(minus kuroko + Kagami and haizaki) do if they make their s/o to tears(maybe they were fighting or something)
Omg! Omg, I’m so so sorry if this tok too long. I sure hope this makes up for it! 🌸
Thank you for requesting! 💋
♥︎ AKASHI:
“Father, I’m old enough. I have the right to chose who I am to marry. If I’m going to take charge of this company in the future, at least let me have her with me.” Akashi reasoned with his father.
Ever since they started dating, it’s been great, but it’s also been hard. Akashi’s father has always wanted him to marry to another wealthy heir, but Akashi would never choose any other girl over her.
For four years, their relationship was strong. No matter how his father had told me him about leaving her, he never did. He was still there. She was too.
“Tell me, Seijuro; What does the girl give you money and business cannot?” his father clasped his hands together. His voice booming with authority.
“Happiness.” Akashi replied, gritting his teeth. She glanced worriedly over at Akashi, hoping he wouldn’t lose his temper.
“What foolishness.” his father scoffed. “Seijuro. I talked privately with you about this before. Now I do not care to say it in front of this commoner. Leave her and marry Theresa.”
“No.” Akashi declined. “I’ll never leave her.”
“Even if it means shutting down our company? You have two choices. Leave her and take charge of the company, or stay with her and watch the company shut down. It’s your choice.”
“Shut up. I can do both.” Akashi growled.
“Sei, calm down.” she pleaded, squeezing his hand. He yanked his hand away and glared at his father.
“No, I’m not going to calm down!” he yelled.
“Sei.. please.. please, don’t let me get between you and your father.” her voice was so shaky and sad, it was enough to make Akashi soften. The tears flowing down her cheeks was the last straw.
Akashi turned to her and wrapped his arms around her. His father eyes widened at the sight. They both knew that they weren’t allowed to show affection in front of his father. But Akashi didn’t care.
“Your father will be outrageous.. what are you doing?” she mumbled, slowly hugging him back. Akashi looked up, his eyes filled with sorrow and devastation.
“So what?” he grumbled. He sounded so tired, it made her heart break. “Don’t cry, please. Don’t.” he moved his head away, wiping away her tears with his thumb. “I’m never going to leave you. Never.”
“You think I’ll go?” she whispered.
Akashi knelt down and kissed her belly. “I’ll be there when he’s born. I’ll be the best father for our child. I promise.”
“What is the meaning of this?” Akashi’s father finally spoke up, an angered expression plastered on his face.
“I’m marrying her.” Akashi intertwined his hand with hers.
♥︎ KISE:
“Ryouta?” she looked up from her phone and walked over to Kise, who was practicing his skills in a street court.
“What is it?” he asked, shooting the ball with a satisfying swish from the net as a reply. She thought twice about it.
It’s been months since she’ve been receiving hate from Kise’s fangirls and they’ve stalked her so much and gathered such information about her, using it as blackmail, it hurt.
When she first started dating Kise, she thought their relationship was going to like any other normal one. Holding hands in the park, having dinner outside. It was way harder.
Whenever they were at the park, she received glares from certain girls. When they were having dinner, things were the same. She hated it. If she were to be in a relationship, she wanted it to be an inspiration, not a downer.
“I wanted to talk about something..” she trailed off, not meeting his eyes.
“About what? Another date? If so, I’m not available for the whole month. I’m going to be shooting for a magazine to be released next week. Not just one, which makes it harder. Next month, I’m not so sure.”
Her blood boiled. Talk about a busy schedule. Kise was a top model. She was just an ordinary girl. Who was she and what was special about her that she got to date someone as amazing as him?
“About our relationship.” she built up her courage. If she wanted to be happy, might as well speak up now. Kise didn’t even look like he was trying.
“What about us, (Name)cchi?” he walked over to a bench and pulled out a towel from his bag, dabbing it on his forehead.
“I’m not happy anymore.” she admitted. Kise was about to speak, but was cut off. “You’re just too busy. And I can’t handle all those messages and hate I get everyday. For months I’ve endured you not being with me in the midst of being drowned by hate. I’m not even sure anymore.”
“I never thought that this is where we would go through. I didn’t sign up for this. It’s my fault for thinking I’ll always be with you for thinking that you’ll always love me.” she paused, lowering her head and quickly wiping off the tears that escaped from her eyes. “Just be happy, please.”
She turned on her heel, but was stopped when the blonde grabbed her wrist to halt her from going. “So, you’re breaking up with me? After 3 years of being together, this is where our path ends?”
She didn’t answer.
“You’ve always made me happy.” his voice was low and hoarse, as if he wanted to get this out as much as her. “You’re my supportive girlfriend. You’re my hope, you’re my strength. You’re not a burden.”
He pulled her over, and he wrapped his arms around her so she couldn’t walk away again. “I wish I have shown you earlier how much you really mean to me. `You’ll always be mine. You know, I love you, right?”
She broke down, crying uncontrollably as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
“Never think that I don’t love you.” he whispered, their foreheads touching. “Never.”
He leaned in.
♥︎ MIDORIMA:
“This is your fault, nanodayo.” Midorima chided, blushing madly as he scooped (Name) up from her nape and behind her knees.
“Not really.” she rolled her eyes. “Takao dared me to do it. You actually think I’ll turn down a challenge for that fool? Psh!”
“(Name), you have a huge wound on your leg. You actually think that’s okay?”
“You’re going to become a doctor.” she reasoned. “You can treat that. In the meantime, I hope you don’t let my parents find out.”
Midorima scowled and carried her to his house. He placed her on the couch and darted off to get the first aid kit.
“Don’t move too much, nodayo.” he instructed, getting a piece of cotton and dabbing it with some alcohol. She was about to protest, but was cut off when he pressed it on her leg. She screamed in pain.
“This is to get your wound clean. I won’t risk treating it right away. There’s bacteria.” Midorima said. She ignored him. The pain was so horrible she couldn’t even think straight. All she wanted was to punch him.
“It hurts!” she complained. “That’s not how a doctor treats their patient! Why does it hurt so much?”
“This is how they treat it, and I’m making it so that it’s not too painful. If I don’t do this, you’ll get ill. And I have to take care of you. Again.”
“You’re so mean!” she couldn’t even help but give in from the tears flowing down her cheeks from the pain. Once Midorima noticed it, he stopped and started wrapping her leg with a gauze.
“You should’ve been more careful.” he scolded, rolling the gauze around her wound.
“It still hurts.” she frowned, once he was done.
“The pain’s supposed to be subsiding by now.” he scowled.
“It’s not.”
“What do you want, nodayo?” he grumbled.
“Give me a kiss!” she opened her arms.
“No.”
“You’re so mean.”
“You are.” she shot back.
“Just shut up once I do.” a dark tint of pink powdered his cheeks as he leaned in.
She smirked once he pulled away. “You’re such a tsundere. But it’s adorable!”
♥︎ AOMINE:
For others, Aomine’s change was terrifying and sad, but to her, it was depressing. No, more than that, it even broke her heart.
It was young love.
“So, you’re really quitting basketball?” she asked, closing her book and glancing at her blue-headed friend who was laying on the pavement.
“I guess.” he breathed out.
“Why?” she asked. She hoped she didn’t sound as angry as she was. Basketball was what got them both together. It was like, as long as they both kept playing, their bond will never be broken. But what was this?
“The only one who can beat me is me.”
“You’re giving up. Not quitting.” she spoke up, earning a glance from Aomine. He sat up.
Basketball was supposed to be fun. Who knee the happiness and bond that made everyone closer was also the same thing that was to tear them apart?
“And that’s coming from you? Seriously? We’ve been playing and practicing together for years and even you couldn’t get past me.” he spat. She flashed him a cold hearted glare.
“That’s not it, aho.” she gritted her teeth. “Why quit when you can still fight? You’re not a fighter.”
“When did you start minding my business?” Aomine scoffed. She wanted to help him so bad. She wanted him to be happy again. She wanted to him to enjoy basketball like they all did back then.
“You really are a baka.” her voice faltered, and for a moment, she paused. It took Aomine a few good minutes to realise she was crying. This caught his attention.
“Wait a minute.. are you crying? Oi. I didn’t mean that, hey!” he scooted closer.
“God, you’re so cocky. I’m never going to stop practicing just to beat you, so that I could at least knock some sense into you.”
Aomine growled. “No need for that.”
She looked up at him.
He sighed. “I’ll play basketball again, idiot. Just keep your vow and keep going until you beat me.”
She smiled.
♥︎ MURASAKIBARA:
“(Name)!” Himuro was the first one to act, immediately running over to (Name), who was hit by a basketball in the face by Murasakibara’s doing.
“Ittai..” she mumbled, rubbing her head as she sat up with the assistance of Himuro. It hurt so much, tears flowed out of her eyes.
“Are you okay?” Himuro asked, helping his sister sit up. She nodded, the pain still not subsiding. Murasakibara immediately fled to where they were.
“(Name)-chin!” he cried, throwing himself unto her, but luckily, didn’t crush her with the help of Himuro.
“I’m sorry..” he said, snuggling his face into her neck.
“It’s alright.” she smiled, patting his head softly. “Just.. be careful next time. I told you about not throwing tantrums in practice.”
“I’ll follow them next time.”
“I’m looking forward to that.” she kissed the top of his head.

First Date (Part II)
Fandom : Kuroko no Basket

Note : Another scenario that i wrote last year or before that. This is second part. The first part have the same theme but with different characters (Takao and Midorin).  Enjoy reading  everyone ~ hope you like it!
Aomine
“This one’s good, oh, that one’s good too.”
You ran over to the dress while your blue-haired boyfriend was yawning behind you, “(F/N), hurry up! Just pick one already!”
You frowned, “Ughh, don’t you get that i can’t choose one? Everything’s good!”
Aomine grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the store, “Hey, i haven’t bought anything yet! Ahomine!!”
Aomine stopped, “Look here, i don’t mind whatever we’re doing EXCEPT shopping! We’ve been in that store for one and a half hour! And you still haven’t bought anything.”
“You don’t understand the difficulties of being a teenage girl!”
Aomine sighed hard, “Whatever, i’m hungry. Let’s eat.”
He got in a fastfood restaurant. The two of you ate hamburgers peacefully and you haven’t talked to Aomine again since then. Aomine was disturbed with this. Suddenly, he heard a loud sound and looked to the direction where the sound came.
Aomine looked back at you, “Hey, (F/N). Let’s play that”, he pointed to a game centre.
You pouted. What? Playing in game centre on your first date?
Aomine picked the gun game and said to you, “(F/N), if i win, you’ll kiss me here.”
You blushed seeing he smirked. You picked the gun and said, “Like i’ll lose!”
The two of you played the game. You won the game. Aomine just had his usual bored face while you were laughing loudly. Although, deep inside you knew that he let you win deliberately.
“Hey, Daiki!”
Aomine looked at you.
“I won, so you have to do what i say!”
“Huh!? Why should i!?”
You smiled, “Let’s play other games, aho!”
The two of you played every games in that game centre. At first, Aomine let you won for 3 times but in the end, he got annoyed by how you laughed and all and won all the rest of the game.
“Hey, Daiki, can you get that doll for me?” You said pointing at a blue cat doll.
Aomine inserted coin and played it. But he didn’t get the doll. He got annoyed and kept playing until he ran out of money. “Give me your money, (F/N)!”
“You sound like a robber, you know.”
“Shut up! I’m pissed off!”
You sighed, you grabbed his shoulder making his face went down to your face and you kissed him on the cheek.
Aomine was surprised. You smiled at him and said, “This was the worst date ever, aho.”
Kise
“Kise, please tell me again. Why are we even here?”
You let your model boyfriend decide what to do on your first date with him but who would have thought that he would bring you to karaoke.
“We’re going to sing (F/N)cchi.”
You sighed, “I just went to karaoke with my friends 2 days ago.”
“It must be nice. It’s been 2 years since i last went to karaoke.”
Your eyes widened, “Really?”
“I’ve been busy with my work and basketball practices”, Kise smiled then asked, “Do you want to eat something, (F/N)cchi?”
“No, it’s fine. I only want cola.”
“Then, i’ll order it.”
You stared at Kise. Well, it’s pretty rare for him to be free on saturdays so i guess, i should just listen to him and make him happy.
After the drinks came, Kise sang a song.
What? His voice is so good! Is Kise this good at singing? You screamed mentally. You stared at him singing. Kise looked at you while he was singing then blushed. You blushed too.
After the song ended, Kise said, “(F/N)cchi, you sing too!”
“But i’m not good at singing. You should just keep singing. I’ll listen.”
Kise pouted, “But it’s not fun to sing alone.”
“No.”
“Please?”
“No.”
“Pretty please?”
“I said no.”
“Come on, (F/N)cchi~”
“NO!”
Kise hugged you and his eyes were in tears, “Please (F/N)cchi! It’s our first date! You sing too!”
You gave up, “I understand. Let me go first.”
Kise let you go and you selected (Favorite Song).
At first, you were nervous because Kise heard you singing so you didn’t sing well. Kise took the other mic and started singing with you. Kise sang happily and made you smile. The two of you continued singing together until there was a call telling you that the time almost up.
“Eh? Already? I still want to do duet with (F/N)cchi.”
You giggled, “It’s already 6 pm. We should go.”
After Kise paid, the two of you went out and you said, “I’m a little hungry.”
“It’s because (F/N)cchi didn’t eat anything earlier.”
“Neither did you.”
“Of course i wouldn’t. How can i eat when my girlfriend not?”
You blushed.
“Ah, (F/N)cchi, let’s eat there!”
You looked to where he pointed and saw a french restaurant. “No! It must be expensive!”
Kise giggled and grabbed your waist, “Don’t worry, (F/N)cchi. I’ve been saving money for today. Let’s go!”
Before the two of you got in the restaurant, there was a scream, “OMG! IT’S KISE-KUN!”
The two of you flinched as a group of fangirls came to you. Kise grabbed your hand and you ran with him. “WHY DIDN’T YOU WEAR GLASSES!? YOU BRING IT, RIGHT!?”
“HUWAA.. I’M SORRY (F/N)CCHI! I FORGOT!”
After five minutes, Kise and you stopped near a ramen stand. You were holding your knees and panting. So were Kise.
“I’m sorry, (F/N)cchi. Although it’s our first date..”
“Well, i’m dating a model. I’m prepared for this.” You looked at Kise, his face slightly sad.“Let’s eat. I’m starving”, you said.
Kise looked around, “But there’s only ramen stand.”
“It’s fine, you dork.” You smiled and grabbed his hand, “Let’s go!”
Kise smiled, “Next time, i’ll bring you to french restaurant.”
You giggled, “I’ll be looking forward to it.

OMG I SAW YOUR PHOTO FIC AND I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING!!! I want to see how the Miracles will react when they find out (which will probably happen sooner than later). I get the feeling that this will end with the Miracles with their own group photo in their own set of t-shirts as insisted by the Miracle Boyfriends Club lololol
Kuroko finds the shirt when he does the laundry.
He looks at the shirt for longer than he should, becauseKagami walks in and finds him like that. “Kuroko, do you—ack!” Kagami moveswith the instincts of a seasoned athlete and grabs the shirt out of Kuroko’shands before Kuroko can pull back.
“Kagami-kun, you are so shameless, I had no idea,” Kurokosays passively.
“It’s not what you think! It’s not mine!”
“It belongs to someone else who is dating a Miracle, then?”Kuroko inquires, politely.
“I mean it’s,” Kagami flushes, “OK, it’s mine, but itwas all Takao’s fault. He made it.”
“I see,” Kuroko says. He tries to picture Kagami in theshirt (and finds that he actually really wants to see Kagami in theshirt), “That color would not go well with your hair at all.”
“I know, shut up.” Kagami scrunches up the shirt into a balland refuses to meet his gaze. “I wanted a black one.”
Which, Kuroko notes, is not the same thing as notwanting to wear the shirt at all. A flush of warmth spreads through his body, and Kuroko is pretty sure he can convince Kagami to wear the shirt for himafter all.
*
Kise finds the shirt on accident, when he’s rifling throughKasamatsu’s dresser. (He’s run out of clothes, and he really hates doing laundryand loves wearing Kasamatsu’s clothes, so really, it only makes sense tocombine these two things by picking through Kasamatsu’s shirts).
It’s in the very back of the bottom drawer, shoved into thecorner, and when Kise finds it he makes an inhaling, gasping, squealing noisethat must sound very alarming because Kasamatsu comes storming in, “Oi, Kise, what’s wrong—oh, crap.”
“Senpai,” Kise breathes, “Please put this on, please, please.”
“Not even in your wildest fantasy,” Kasamatsu says.
“This is definitely going in my fantasies,” Kiseagrees. “Please, wear it just once, I will do anything, anything,if you put this on. Any demeaning, most depraved thing you might want, I willdo it.”
And to Kise’s surprise, Kasamatsu actually pauses and thinksit over. Kise thinks he might actually die from a combination of happinessand lack of oxygen.
Kasamatsu snatches the shirt from Kise’s hands while he’sdistracted.
“Senpai,” Kise pouts.
“I’ll keep that in mind,” Kasamatsu says. “The next time Ineed you to do something.”
“Wha—what’d you say?”
But Kasamatsu has already left, his ears faintly red.
*
Takao plans very strategically for the reveal. He waits fora time when his mom and sister will be out of the house (they’re at MM Land, with Dr. Kishitani and Naoko, making it absolutely perfect because there’s nochance Midorima’s family will be around either) and then he invites Midorimaover for dinner.
Takao has a game he likes to play, it’s called, “MakeShin-chan Blush Increasingly Deeper Shades of Red at Every Opportunity.” Theredder Midorima gets, the more points Takao awards himself in this game. He’swinning, so far.
This night, starts with him opening the door wearing anapron. “Shin-chan, you made it!”
“What are you wearing?” Midorima sputters, already faintly red.
Takao grins, “Do you want dinner, a bath, or me?”
Midorima turns around to leave.
“Wait, wait! Come back, I was only kidding,” Takao says, pulling Midorima into the house. “Come on, I actually made dinner!”
“Fool,” Midorima says, redder than before.
Now that he’s in the house, with the door safely closedbehind him, Takao goes in for the kill and takes off the apron.
“What—what is that?”
“This old thing?” Takao says, gesturing to his green shirt.“Do you like it? I made it myself.”
“Take that off right now,” Midorima says.
“Ooh, Shin-chan, so bold,” Takao grins, moving to take offhis shirt.
“That’s not what I meant.”
This is new levels of red on Midorima, and Takao counts thisnight as a huge success.
*
Himuro always wears his shirt. Pretty much whenever they’renot required to be in uniform. Murasakibara doesn’t even really bat an eye.
“Dude, I am not going out with you when you’re wearing thatshirt,” Fukuisays.
“Hm?” Himuro says.
“God, you two are so embarrassing. I am not going to themovies when you’re wearing a matching shirt to your matching boyfriend.Especially since you guys can’t keep your hands off each other.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Himuro saysinnocently.
“You’re sitting in his lap right now,” Fukui whines.
“Well, we’re not out yet,” Himuro says.
“We’ve been out with you before, it doesn’t stop you,” Liusays. “Change your shirt, Himuro.”
“But I look good in purple, don’t you think?”
“Murochin does look good in purple,” Murasakibara agrees.
“See?”
“We’re leaving you here,” Fukui says.
*
Furihata loves his shirt, but he doesn’t know when he can wearit. He is not brave enough to wear it in public, and he would get no end ofgrief from Kyo if he wore it around the house.
But because he wants to wear the shirt, even when heisn’t necessarily brave enough to show it off to public, he decides to wear itas an undershirt when he’s out to see Akashi. That way, he has the satisfaction of wearing it without anyone else knowing, which does provide a fair amount of satisfaction.
“Furihata,” Akashisays, in the croon of his that’s a mixture of a purr and a command and alsomakes Furihata shiver with all kinds of thoughts about the kind of situationthey’d be in where Akashicould use that voice. “Are you wearing what I think you’re wearing?”
“Wh-what?” Furihata laughs nervously. “What are you talkingabout?”
“I’ve heard about the shirts from Murasakibara, Kise and avery reluctant Midorima. Is that yours?”
Furihata knows he’s blushing. He forgets sometimes that theMiracles do talk to one another. “…Maybe.”
“Please, let me see it?”
Oh god, Furihata really needs to develop some sort ofimmunity to Akashiwhen he sounds like that, because it is not good for his health. Akashi asking foranything is a particular weakness of his. Furihata peels off his top shirt, andis pretty sure he must be matching the red shirt that everyone can now see.
“How lovely,” Akashisays, sounding incredibly smug. “That’s a good color for you, Furi.”
*
“You mean you all have one?” Momoi exclaims. “That’sno fair, I want one! A pink one!”
“You’re a Miracle,” Takao points out. “You’re not qualifiedto be in our club.”
“I want one for Dai-chan!” Momoi insists.
“I’m not wearing a pink shirt,” Aomine says.
She sniffs. “Then I’ll see if Ryou-kun wants one.”
“No, you won’t!”
“Hmm, good point, Aomine is, technically, a MiracleBoyfriend,” Takao says, gleefully.
“I’m not joining your stupid club,” Aomine says.
“We don’t want you in our club, so you can’t join,” Kagamisays.
“Shut up, Kagami, don’t tell me what to do!”
“Aomine-kun would not look good in pink,” Kuroko saysinnocently.
“Fuck you, Tetsu, I would look awesome in pink.”
“Done and done, then,” Takao says. “I’ll make you one by thenext meeting.”

Takao, Kasamatsu, Sakurai, Himuro, and Nijimura find their crushes' notebook... and discover a well drawn sketch of them, surrounded by little hearts. What do they do next?
Omg! I love this, since I rarely get request from these characters! Wahh, I enjoyed writing this! 🌸
This is pretty long, too!
Thank you for requesting! 💋
♥︎ TAKAO:
“You’re actually that serious on becoming a composer?” Takao asked as she carefully flipped the pages of her notebook. She nodded, then glanced at the street basketball game across from them.
“Of course I am.” she replied, still not meeting his eyes. She hated it when they locked eyes anyway. Her calm composure would drop, and she would start stuttering on her words and other embarrassing things like that.
A basketball jumped over the fence and landed in front of them. One of their classmates, Ayato, shouted from behind the fence: “Hey, (Name)-chan, mind if you throw the ball over?”
Takao scoffed. “Hey look, it’s that guy you’ve been crushing on.” he said dully, grabbing the ball from the ground and giving it to (Name).
Another thing she hated, faking a crush on another person so she could distract her feelings. Yeah, it sounded immature, but it wasn’t her fault she fell for her bestfriend.
(Name) cleared her throat, before walking over to the fence and throwing it over. Ayato smiled once he caught it. “Nice throw, (Name)-chan!” he winked, before walking back to his friends.
“Sheesh, you should really confess, (Name)-chan.” Takao said, playing with her hair. She blushed deeply, shaking her head, partly so that Takao could stop what he was doing, and so that her hair could cover her blush.
“Is there something wrong?” he asked. “You seem.. odd.”
She shook her head again. “Nothing. Kazu, I have to go. I have something else to do. See you tomorrow.” she smiled half-heartedly, before shouldering her bag and sprinted off.
Takao was a bit offended. Your best friend ditching your time alone for some other thing, but it was probably important, right? For the past few weeks, (Name)’s been asking so nervous. Takao suspected the obvious, but he didn’t want to assume it to early. After all, she liked someone else.
Takao turned to the side and grew interested when he saw her notebook on the bench beside him, where she sat not too long ago.
She forgot it, obviously. Takao would give it to her tomorrow, but it was so tempting to open.
In the end, he got it and opened it anyways. He was just no fighter for temptations. He smiled at the lyrics she wrote, how much meaning they had, you could feel the emotion she wore when she wrote them.
It’s the same for the first few pages, until he reached by the middle of the notebook. He squinted his eyes to see if it were really him.
The sketch looked so accurate, it was creepy. But other than that, it was drawn well. Takao didn’t know she could draw, much less skilfully.
The drawing didn’t look like Ayato at all. And that was weird, since she had a crush on the guy, and the drawing had little hearts scribbled next to it.
His eyes dropped to some writings below the feet.
‘You’re annoying, Kazu’ it wrote. That was enough for him to realise what the hell was going on, he couldn’t help but smirk.
No wonder she acted so odd. And the drawing wasn’t drawn too long ago, either, considering she put a date in the lower right corner. He closed it and smiled to himself.
“Neh, (Name)-chan, I’m so going to get you tomorrow.” he smirked.
♥︎ KASAMATSU:
“Kasamatsu-senpai!” the annoying blonde squealed from afar, pointing at a certain bleacher as he ran to his captain. Kasamatsu blushed, but acted like it was normal, because it was.
“Look! (Name)-senpai is over there with her friends, they’re going to watch practice to write an article! This is your chance!” he said excitedly. Kasamatsu didn’t listen. He was too busy staring at her, awkwardly laughing as her friends pulled her to a bleacher closer to them.
“Oh my, this is my chance for the girls to notice me.” Moriyama purred, running his fingers through his hair.
“Oi, everyone hurry up and practice, we don’t want to get couch to scold us again.” Kasamatsu announced, and everyone followed his orders.
For the first quarter, he was so distracted. She was just too pretty to not look at. When he dribbled and went to their court, the other players would bump into him and snatch the ball.
“Neh, Kasamatsu-senpai, don’t get too distracted now.” Kise teased. Before he even got to scold his teammate, KIse snatched a ball and went for a dunk. Girls cheered from all around.
The alarm blared, signalling the end of the first quarter. This was only a practice match, but it felt so real. Especially since they actually had an audience. There were only about 5 people, but hey, better than nothing.
Everyone made their way to the benches, sitting down to rest and others drinking their water. Kasamatsu slightly tiled his head, only to see her staring at him.
Her eyes widened when they locked eyes. She gulped and put a strand of hair behind her ear, looking away and started talking to her friend. Then proceeded to scribble something in her notebook.
Kasamatsu blushed. God, even from afar, they managed to look at each other? And they weren’t even together. He shook his head, trying to get his mind off of her in the time being.
“You should really ask her out.” Kobori said, stretching on the floor. “Or else Moriyama’s going to beat you to it.”
“Yeah.” Kise agreed.
“She doesn’t like me, bakas.” Kasamatsu growled. “And what if she says no? I’m going to look like an idiot, and-”
“You’ll never know if you don’t try.” Moriyama winked. “And besides, she doesn’t look like she’ll reject you, doesn’t she?” he pointed to the bleachers, where she stared at Kasamatsu.
But this time, he was the one that broke eye contact, blushing madly. Damn, being caught staring at each other for two times a row, that’s a new record.
But Kasamatsu made up his mind. He had his doubts, but other than that, he was really going to try. Once the match was done, he made his way to the bleachers, but there was no sight of them.
Expect maybe… her notebook!
Thinking that it was full of reports, he grabbed it from the seat and started to flip through the pages, he almost passed out on doing so.
On one of the pages was him doing his signature drive, and wow, was it drawn really well. And it was just drawn on the previous game. He blushed madly and immediately closed her notebook.
His heart started pounding when he heart footsteps from behind, and there she was, panting and standing behind him.
“E-Excuse me?” she stuttered, her hand motioning over to her notebook. From the corner of his eye, Kasamatsu saw his team staring at them like they were their OTP. “I forgot my notebook.”
Kasamatsu glanced at the notebook in his hands, before handing it to her, gulping. “Excuse me..” he trailed off.
She looked up at him, clutching her notebook her to her chest. “W-Would.. you.. would you mind if I walk you home?”
She looked a bit taken back at first, but smiled warmly afterwards, shaking her head. “No, not at all.”
“Then.. please wait there. I’ll just go and get my things.”
“Wooh! That’s the spirit, Kasamatsu-senpai!” Kise cheered from below, earning a glare from Kasamatsu and a giggle from (Name).
♥︎ NIJIMURA:
Nijimura exhaustingly ran his fingers through his hair as he made his way over to his locker.
It was the end of a match from another school, and though they won, it was one of their most exhausting matches. Right now, all he wanted was to plop down on his bed and go to sleep. He was lucky it was friday.
But he had to get an article (Name) had written for their basketball team, and he had to review it and tell her if there was anything written in there he didn’t like and vice versa.
He raised the key hanging on his ID and unlocked his padlock. He grabbed the notebook resting inside, and sat on one of the benches, then started reading it.
Usually, he would’ve dozed off to read an article, but seeing what was written and or drawn inside her notebook, it kept him awake. It fascinated him more and more whenever he turned the page to see another drawing of him.
There were some drawings of him playing basketball, him doing one of his drives, and there were some obviously drawn in the middle of class. He appreciated them all, and he couldn’t help but blush.
He heard footsteps to his right, and turned his head, to see the person he wanted to see the most as of now. She panted, her hands resting on her knees, before standing up straight.
“Ah, Shuzo.” she gulped, putting one of her hands behind her back and motioning to her notebook. “Have you read the notebook? If so..” she pulled out from her bag another notebook. “I unnoticeably gave you.. a different one.”
Nijimura stood up from the bench and walked over to her. “Uh, yeah. I guess I opened the notebook..”
“Oh..” she trailed off, grabbing her notebook from him and handing him the other one. “I have to go.” she excused, bowing her head and proceeding to walk away but stopped when Nijimura grabbed her wrist and pulled her close to him.
“No.” he said, his voice low. As of now, he didn’t care that they were inside campus. No one but them were probably still there, the sun was setting, the soft breeze blew on their faces, sakura blossoms being blown by the wind.
Nijimura had one of his hands on her wrist, the other on the back of her head.
“If you like me, you should’ve said sooner.” he whispered. “We’ve been best friends for years, (Name).”
She didn’t answer.
“Go out with me.” he said, pulling away, both of his hands enveloping hers.
“Ah, you got me.” she smiled, moving closer to him and looping her fingers through his. “It’s a yes.”
♥︎ SAKURAI:
“Oi, Sakurai.” Aomine yawned from behind him. “I attended class for today. Can you be a saint and substitute yourself to clean the classrooms? I’m tired.”
As always, Sakurai obeyed his orders and lowered his hea lower  than he should’ve. He sighed and looked out of the window, as most of his classmates scurried of outside to go home.
He grabbed a broom from the closet and started sweeping. He singed some tunes for a while until his eyes dropped on a notebook. It was placed on his crushes’ desk, and being his curious self, he opened it.
There were multiple drawings of him on some of the pages. Some were him bowing to someone, saying sorry over and over again. Some was him doing a 3-pointer, and some were him smiling genuinely.
It took him a while to realise this was the notebook of (Name), the girl he had a HUGE crush on. He hoped he didn’t look like an idiot next to her, but he doubted it.
Once he realised he was snooping in others’ privacy, he immediately closed it and started apologising to no one.
He decided he’ll ask her out tomorrow, but he didn’t even know how. Draw a picture of her, too? Just ask her out like that?
Nah, maybe he’ll cook something for her. And then he’ll ask her out. Maybe even get some help from Momoi and his teammates, specifically Aomine, whom he did a favour for..
Oh, he has it all planned already.
♥︎ HIMURO:
“That was great.” she smiled, as Himuro successfully did another mirage shot of his. Himuro smiled and sat next to her, wiping away the sweat on his forehead with a towel.
“I know.” Himuro said confidently, but laughed afterwards. Then he realised she was writing something on her notebook. Or drawing.. “What’s that?”
She looked around, then at her notebook. She laughed awkwardly, before hiding it from behind her back, hoping Himuro would lose interest, but she doubted it.
“Hey, when did you start hiding secrets?” Himuro frowned, but smirked afterwards as he tried to reach for her notebook. “We’re best of friends!”
“Oh please.” she rolled her eyes. “Just mind your own business, Tatsu. And I won’t get mad at you.”
“Really now?” Himuro cocked an eyebrow, then stood up from the bench. (Name) laughed, then started to run as Himuro chased after her. Obviously, in the end Himuro caught up with her when she grew tired.
“Why do you have to be so curious?” she narrowed her eyes. “God, I hate you sometimes. I’m leaving.” she said, blushing madly and handing Himuro her notebook, shouldering her bag and started to go.
But one Himuro saw what was inside her notebook, he grabbed her wrist. “What now?” she said, hoping she sounded stern.
“I didn’t know you were so good at drawing.” he said, pointing at a drawing of him juggling, and other things like that. Like cooking, shooting, laughing..
“Yeah, yeah..” she trailed off, yanking her hand away.
“Really?” he sighed, closing her notebook. “God, you’re way more denser than me. I like you too, (Name). I’ve liked you for so long.” he said, inching closer to her.
Her eyes widened when their foreheads touched. Himuro ran his fingers through her loose hair. “I’ll make it up to you, for forcing you so much.” he said, and before she even got to process everything, he pecked her lips.
“H-hey!” she stuttered, her finger touching on where he just kissed her.
“Well you better get used to that by now.” he smiled, grabbing the basketball from the floor and started practicing again.

Omg! Thank you for that! Waaaah I really appreciate it ♡^▽^♡
Thank you for requesting! 💋
♥︎ IMAYOSHI:
She trusted him with all his heart.
So what did she even do to deserve this? She always tried her best to be a supportive girlfriend, to always look out for him, to love him despite all his flaws.
Why was she the one that hurt so much?
He was the one that took interest in her first. He was the one that put all of his efforts to make her his. It was his lost, but she still loved him. And that sunk her into bitterness.
Was he just playing with her?
One of his flaws was finding joy unto tricking others. Did she fall for his tricks she always saw through? She swore Imayoshi’s always had that gleam in his eyes whenever he looked at her, disappearing whenever he glanced at someone else.
She wished that day never happened. That day she visited his house just so she could spend time with him.. seeing him with another lady, who he looked at differently from her.
“I hate you,” she had said. It was the only words she could process out of the moment. And she hoped it hit him just like the incident did to her.
A knock was heard from the other side of the door. She didn’t answer, nor cared whom it was. Momoi visited her often to check up on her, and so far, she was the only one that seemed to care, along with her friend Aomine who came along sometimes.
She shifted so that her back faced the door. She didn’t want to talk to anyone. She didn’t want to hear comforting words, because it only reminded her of all Imayoshi’s promises and lies. All his lies.
“(Name),” the voice spoke. Her eyes widened, and she shut it tight, so the tears wouldn’t come by again. These past few days, they were one of her company. “Speak to me.”
She didn’t answer. Why would she? When she told him he hated her, sure, he ran after her, but he didn’t reach her. Why now?
“I’m sorry.”
That snapped her patience. She sat up from her bed, and walked over in front of him, her head lowered. Even she didn’t want to see what mess she looked like.
Gritting her teeth, she raised her hand and soon, her palm stung. She lowered it and bit her lip. “I hate you. Just go. I don’t need you. I don’t want any more lies in my life!” she backed away.
Imayoshi stood there, speechless from her action. She was always so jolly, afraid of hurting someone. But now..
“I said leave.” her voice faltered, and she didn’t even bother stopping the tears from coming. “I can’t do this anymore. Carry on with your life and ambitions.”
She threw the sheets over her head, trying to stop her cries from being heard, and Imayoshi, having no choice, left the room with no more words.
“Speak to me.” she whispered his last words he had said to her, not even caring if she cried so hard.
♥︎ MIDORIMA:
How long was she crying?
She didn’t know. Her mind wandered off to that time where they first met. In the crowd of the first day of school. Bumping into each other..
It seemed like fate. And things went on from that. Everything was so unexpected, for a while, she forgot about everything. She forgot about all their time together, all their bonds ever since highschool, their I love you’s..
Did she deserve so much pain? Was it because they were happy, that it broke down to this? She felt so empty. She wanted to cry again. But now, she was out of tears.
“(Name)-chan, meet Shin-chan!” Takao had said. He got them together, and now, he went back and forth just to make things okay again. He visited her often, comforting and taking care of her and trying to make her smile.
Her hand makes it’s way to the bracelet wrapped around her left wrist. Sitting up from her bed, she took it off slowly and placed it on the bedside table.
She wished she hadn’t been so considerate to give him some food while he was working. To see him with some other doctor..
A knock on the door was heard. She didn’t reply and stared at her palms, as if they were the most magnificent things ever.
“(Name).” his voice rang in her ears.
Her eyes widened, and uncontrollably, she turned her head to where he was standing. She wanted to run into his arms, to hug him, to kiss him..
But that wasn’t going to happen anymore. They were over. And even if she didn’t want to, she was going to leave.
“I’m sorry.” he apologised. “It was my fault.”
At that moment, something inside her snapped. Her blood boiled, her heart thumped, and she locked eyes with him. “Don’t say my name.”
“Don’t apologise.” she growled. “But yes, say that it’s your fault! Say it to yourself until you realise what you’ve done. Sorry isn’t going to cut it.”
“I wished we stayed as friends. Or might as well haven’t met each other. I don’t deserve this pain.” she tightened her grip around the bedsheets.
She sighed, before grabbing the bracelet from the bedside table and made her way in front of him. Then she calmed down.
“I’m sorry if I didn’t make you happy.” her voice faltered, tightening her grip around the bracelet he gave to her as a sign of his love.
“(Name), I-“
“I’m sorry if I wasn’t enough.” she cut him off. “I’m sorry for being so annoying. I’m sorry for wasting your time.”
She placed the bracelet on his hand and forced a smile. “Give it to her. Be happy.”
Faking a continuous laugh, she pushed him gently until he was out of the door, then shut it. She covered her mouth, sliding her back across the door and rested her face inside her hands, hoping it would stop her cries.
“I’m so sorry.. Shin-chan.”
