When I first played KH3 I was a little confused by how set Hayner, Pence, and Olette were on restoring Roxas considering they never met him but like… I totally get it now. Imagine getting told that in a digital reality, there was this guy who was your best friend. He did everything with you and fought for you and loved you. He died knowing you were the most important thing in the world to him. This guy you’ve never met already loves you unconditionally for exactly who you are. And you can help bring him back to life. I would want to see him restored and be super excited to meet him too!!
