OK, *WHEEZES* I'm like watching Mo Dao Zu shi animated series on season 3. JFC

Ep 4 and Lan Zhan just got kneewalking drunk off of one cup, has a nightmare about Wei Yung dying, jolts him awake to panic search for his honey bc he is not by his side

Finds Wei Ying with Wen Ning and FRIKKIN SHOVES zombie guy away from WY like some jealous possessive boyfriend

THEN proceeds to decide naw that ain't enough. Zombie guy was out here trying to steal his man IMMA BITCHSLAP A CORPSE BITCH

Wei Ying has to physically hold LZ back and yell at Wen Ning to run away. THEN DRUNK LZ tries showering Wei Ying with courting gifts (that he pulls out from his sleeves) bc "Baby, baby, you like me better than him, right, baby?"

THEN two of them proceed to have a mating courtship ritual dance across the rooftops in a game of cat and mouse and I am beyond flabbergasted that Lan Zhan didn't full out tackle WY when they finally stopped

He gasped as Lan Wangji decided licking wasn’t enough, his teeth sinking into the meat of his peck. “You like that?” He tried to tease, but he was too off-kilter for it to have his usual teasing oomph. The rumbling purr from Lan Wangji was more than enough answer. “Here I thought being your little wife was enough.” “Never enough,” The smallest furrow formed in Lan Wangji’s brow. “O-” The word was knocked from Wei Wuxian’s lips as his back hit the wall. “Oh?” “You are mine,” Lan Wangji’s eyes smoldered as a hand reached out to loop a finger through the ring at Wei Wuxian’s throat. “Until the whole world knows, I will never be happy.”

“Wei Ying,” Lan Wangji soothed him with a kiss. “He made you furen.” “I was there,” Wei Wuxian huffed. “If I fuck up one thing he’s going to have my head.” Ge, why does mama live away from everyone else? It just happens sometimes, A-Zhan. The important thing is we can still see her right? And bring her flowers! The memories hit Lan Wangji like a freight truck. Fear seeped in as cold as the snow he remembered seeping in through the knees of his pants. How could he forget the only Lan Furen he and his brother knew? He felt his jaw tighten. Was that his brother’s play? Make it seem like he was accepting Wei Wuxian only to write him up for something minor and have him exiled? “I’m glad we have an understanding,” Wei Wuxian sighed, having misread Lan Wangji’s internal monologue. “We’ll just table all of it.” “No,” Lan Wangji felt a fire light bright within. If Lan Xichen wanted to play this game, he’d picked the wrong opponent. Did he really think Lan Wangji would sit back and watch him give Wei Wuxian the same treatment their mother did? Maybe if it was the first time they bonded, Lan Wangji might have accepted it. He would have seen it as the atonement for saving Wei Wuxian. But now? Now he had the taste of a life with Wei Wuxian. He wasn’t going to settle for anything less. “We do all of it.” “Lan Zhan-” “He made you furen because it no longer benefits him to keep you out,” Lan Wangji explained. “You’ve become popular with the family, to the point where he’s worried I might bid to take his place. He sees this as appeasing me.”

"I’ll be here for you the whole way.” Lan Wangji murmured, pulling him close.

WY: Yeah yeah Jiang Cheng you've rumbling about that since earlier, trust me at taking care of Jingyi

while rocking Jingyi in his arms and Jiang Cheng sighed

JC: that's the problem I don't trust you on taking care of A Yi

and he rolled his eyes while Wei Wuxian gasped

WY: you've hurt my feelings A Cheng

JC: Oh yeah? The last time i let you took care of A Yi you forgot to let him burp and change diapers

Wei Wuxian grimace of that memory

XC: now now A Cheng just give Wuxian a chance on taking care of A Yi for sure he won't forget again.

Lan Xichen smiled at him but he knows that's a warning from the dominant alpha not to fuck things up again

Jiang Cheng's omega and Xichen's alpha was reluctant to leave their pup with someone due to their past trauma but they also need to bond with each other they've been hella busy these past few months.

Wei Wuxian used his childish voice while using Jingyi's hand to wave goodbye to his parents departing car.

Wei Wuxian sighed,

WY: its just me and you A Yi let's go

WY: Yes yes litol guy

and he kissed Jingyi's chubby cheeks and that made the baby Jingyi laugh, he can smell Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen's scent and pheromones.

WY: Gosh your baba and adie scented you so much, your baby scent can't be smelled anymore they're so overprotective of you.

Wei Wuxian is a beta and betas can only smell the pheromones and scent of the alpha and omegas but it doesn't have any effects on him, if his second gender was an alpha or omega maybe he already died due to suffocation of the scents and pheromones that's on Jingyi. If the smell is strong so does the effect.

Alpha and omegas tend to scent their pups to avoid danger and predators, the superior the gender is the stronger the scent.

Lan Xichen is a rare dominant alpha and Jiang Cheng is also a rare dominant omega which makes their scent and pheromones fusty that just 6 feets away from the pup can lead to suffocation of death.

If the predator is a beta like him they won't need to worry where their pup is, cruel it may sound but they have microchip planted inside Jingyi's ear to locate his whereabouts and it will be only taken away when he is old enough to take care of his self and produce his own pheromones and scent to protect his self and assert dominance.

He lied down on the couch and let Jingyi sit on his chest

WY: Ayi you can only speak baba and adie, how bout jiujiu?"

Jy just tilted his head not understanding anything

Xichen just sighed he knows his husband is rapping some curse words on his brother right now, good thing he can only hear some muffled noise inside and a car engine starting on.

So a stress heat can be subdued with milking? Interesting, interesting. I'm guessing it's because the action basically communicates "Relax, I'm here, I'm taking care of you, you can relax." Techniques used for babies surprisingly still effective on young adults.

That said, JC's secret is out! What in the world is going on in the juniors' heads? What the heck is going on in JC's head? I guess that depends on whether the instincts got to him or if it was a deliberate decision on his part to nurse LJY. And then of course he would have to explain himself to the juniors' first so as to avoid fighting. I bet JL helps JC convince the others by admitting that he's been nursed by JC before. I also think that the situation can be made extra embarrassing if LJY was to be loud about it. He's half conscious, half in (stress!) heat, injured, his moaning can be excused! This is JL's worst night hunt.

Anyway I love ever single omegaverse writing ideas you post, they are just so good. I wonder, do alpha's ever go into a sort of stress rut?

The stress heats rarely happen to cultivators, but Jingyi was confused, in pain, afraid of ghosts and stressed, because it was all happening in front of Sect Leader Jiang! (who he wanted to impress, ever since he admitted to himself that he liked Jin Ling), so he couldn't stop it from happening. And the thing is, the stress heats don't only affect the omega in question - they will affect all other omegas in vicinity to some degree.

In this case? The situation was doubly bad, because they were locked up in a cave with two alphas, and Jingyi could not be taken away to safety, and JC felt his stress levels raising, because he was responsible for the kids and the oldest alpha in the room, so he wasn't immune to the pheromones LJY was releasing...

But then, also, his omega side wasn't immune to them either.

Surprisingly, it was Jin Ling who took charge in this situation - because both of his uncles took care to know as much about sub-genders as possible, in an attempt to save him from being led by his nose by an omega or turning into his grandfather. (Sizhui was raised by the Lan, who weren't big into sex ed unless it was strictly necessary). JL grabbed Sizhui and pushed him to the furthers corner of the cave and snapped to his jiujiu to take Jingyi to the other end. JC snapped back, but recognized that they needed to get a move on. He carried the young omega to the other end of the cave and set out a protective array that would dampen their scents to a degree (there was nothing that would block heat-pheromones completely). The problem was that he needed to stay in the array for it to be effective (it was something JC invented for himself when JL was a baby and his omegan traits were the strongest).

Jingyi, feverish and weak, was trying to nuzzle up to him, and with a spark of shock, JC realised that he couldn't make himself to let the kid go. He slid down the wall to sit on the cold floor, with the kid crawling into hi lap in search of comfort and warmth, whimpering in distress and smelling sweeter and sweeter... and it was a tragedy in the making if JC couldn't hold himself back from following his alpha instincts! He needed to meditate, needed to calm himself. The kid was so young! It was his nephew's fiend, JC knew the omega when he was shorter than his shoulder! How could he even allow himself to give into his instincts with someone so young...

Wait. Wait. JC froze, meditation forgotten.

He had two sets of instincts to follow, after all. And it wasn't something he thought about often - he actively tried not to think about it if possible. When Jin Ling was a baby it was something that just happened, something he'd learned to take as a blessing. Later on, when the pup was taken from him to spend time in the Koi Tower, these instincts kept him annoyingly tender when it came to the kid. Then he buried them under the weight of leading his sect and doting on his nephew, and trying to settle his grief.

And then Wei Wuxian came back and the truth of the golden core came to light and some things started to make sense - and that's when JC stopped thinking about it, because the alternative was madness...

But now he had no other option to save both himself and the boy in his arms. There was no other way left to him than to submit to the instincts that were forced on him by the man who didn't even know what he's done (that he's turned his shidi into a freak of nature), and let them take him when they wanted.

On the other side of the cave, Jin Ling sat himself in front of Sizhui, back to the other side of the cave, sleeves pressed to his face and his faith in his jiujiu unshaken. He slapped a barrier array around them to hopefully muffle any sounds (which he invented for Fairy and the times they came across Wei Wuxian). To his relief, Sizhui was mostly worried about his best friend and his alpha instincts were pouring into protectiveness, but it was still dangerous - a worried alpha was dangerous to both omega in question and other alphas if they've lost control. So, he watched his friend carefully, hoping that they weren't long from being dug out...

"Why isn't Sect Leader Jiang back yet?" Sizhui's voice wobbled and Jin Ling could see his shoulders shaking from how tense they were. "He should be back already. I should go and check on them!"

"No, Jingyi will be okay, jiujiu will keep him safe." He was sure of that. There was no one he knew more strong-willed than his uncle. And also...

"He's an alpha!" Huh, Sizhui raised his voice. "He... he will...!"

"He won't do anything!"

"How do you know?! Sect Leader Jiang is... he is..."

Angry. Volatile. Violent. A typical alpha. Jin Ling knew what people were saying about his uncle, and he knew that jiujiu often played into these opinions - either on purpose or not. He wasn't a perfect man, but he was the best one Jin Ling knew - and JL was the only one who knew his jiujiu wasn't an alpha. Or, not entirely an alpha. That's why he knew Jingyi was safe with JC - but how to explain it to Sizhui? How could he explain something he himself didn't entirely understand? Could he betray his jiujiu like that?

But Sizhui was getting ready to get up and start causing problems - and Jin Ling was not unaffected by the pheromones in the air either, and desperate to settle the situation...

And that's how the two alphas tumbled into the protective array on the other side of the cave, hands fisted into each other's robes and teeth bared, snarling at each other - until a growl echoed around them. A growl unlike anything they've ever heard, somehow entering their hindbrains and forcing them to freeze and stop.

That's how Sizhui witnessed something that shook his entire world-view and made him question everything he knew about the world.

Sect Leader Jiang, sitting against the wall, with Lan Jingyi curled up in his lap, robes dishevelled and open at the chest. A chest Jingyi was nuzzling at, gently, softly, threat working as he sucked on a plump breast...

1. Thank you, mods, for the wonderful work you do and all of the help you provide us anxious, dejected souls who lose their beloved fics. You’re amazing. The fic I lost and have looked for just about everywhere I can think of, takes place right after Lan WangJi is released from his 3-year forced seclusion/discipline whipping recovery, and assumes responsibility of Lan Sizhui’s upbringing, living in the jingshi. Through the years, Sizhui learns his father’s quiet ways and goes through LWJ’s bouts of severe depression during certain times of the year, LWJ becomes disconsolate, disappearing from home for periods of time leaving Sizhui alone. Lan Jingyi is his best friend. There is one black bunny among all the white bunnies in the bunny meadow that Sizhui names A-Xian, (though he has no memory of his previous life). LWJ cuts pieces of red ribbon from his secret stash to place around the bunny’s neck. Sizhui accidentally finds the secret stash box under LWJ’s bed with a picture of a smiling boy he doesn’t recognize. Sizhui and Jingyi leave Cloud Recesses without permission and run into trouble, but returned home the next day. Their punishment is issued by LQR. That’s all I remember. It focused on wangxian’s POV of it though. Like I think it started with WWX trying to get LWJ to come to the hospital with him, because he had been refusing to see his brother out of sheer disappointment and disbelief. I think it starts with LWJ looking for WWX in a village, then it flashbacks to him receiving a letter where WWX writes that he has fallen in love with a farmer and marrying him, if LWJ would come to the wedding and give his blessing… which obviously catches LWJ off-guard because he’s been kinda assuming that WWX would come back when he’s ready, so now he’s all jealous and pining, and needs to see for himself what the hell is going on.

They do end up meeting and go on a night-hunt together, and LWJ notices that WWX is actually acting weird. The reveal was that WWX was actually under some kind of love spell and that the “farmer” was a rogue cultivator trying to bind WWX’s literal life to him and use his powers.

this is her vibe honestly she’s having a blast. she’ll probably try some knife throwing and be all dressed up

honestly loves the idea of this? she’s never been to one of these before but she loves carnivals and this is a carnival she gets to dress up for? a dream please run around with her

throwing axes and knives literally for hours, mya is having an absolute blast. she will be spending too much time being an absolute menace in taverns

baxia is out to play baby! he hasn’t gotten to duel in a hot minute this is great! he will also absolutely be teaching people some moves he lives to pass on his violent tendencies

she’s honestly loving this? it’s like an actual fairytale she’s obsessed. she’ll be hanging out by the mermaids and doing crafts

is dressed like a fairy and is being a menace with her magic, also will be dancing around with every stranger she can grab

he’s probably not going lmao he may drop in briefly to look around but that’s it

she’s definitely performing with her dance troupe, and will be probably dancing even when not onstage, because being able to just twirl around in a pretty dress sounds fucking incredible

she’ll probably dress up, this is a good distraction for her honestly, just some harmless fun, she’ll most likely be watching magic shows and just wandering
