7 Jalanan Paling Keren Yang Harus Kamu Jelajahi Di Tokyo

JJK222: fun fact about the final battle place: it is Shinjuku Center Building
Shinjuku is large, but this is a familar place (or close to it). Why?
It is an approx 7-minute walk to the place where Gojo and Geto "broke up", in front of a KFC near Memory Lane - Omoide Yokocho.
I have no idea why they chose it or if it has been mentioned that this particular building is an important place in the manga, but some fans really did just think "what if it's near KFC" and voila, we actually found it lol.

The Grimy Fork: CC-Free Community Lot
I haven't played in months, but I felt like making a tiny community lot bar thing (mainly cause tiny lots are faster to build lol).
What inspired me most was the bars/restaurants of Omoide Yokocho in Shinjuku, Tokyo, cause of how small each one is & how a lot of them have semi-outdoor seating.
It has the hot dog stand in the middle, then you can enter the tiny building on both sides to either some couches or a tiny bar. There's a bathroom between the two, with a door on each end so it's easier to get in/out of. There's also a door that goes behind the bar counter, so sims can "Tend bar" or talk to the bartender.
I used Lot Adjuster to make the building as close to the edges of the lot as it is. I started with a 3x3 lot, built the 8x9 building, then shrank the lot to 1x1 (technically 1x2 counting the 10-tile road). I play-tested the lot multiple times and didn't notice any issues that'd either be caused by using Lot Adjuster or just how I built it in general, but on MTS they said there's always a possibility that messing with lots using Lot Adjuster could do something weird at some point, so I figured I should mention it.

Excellent day yesterday which we started off by watching some sumo wrestling training at the Arashio-beyo Sumo Stable. You can watch for free through the window and while it felt weird at first (it kind of felt like being at the zoo and I didn't know what the sumo wrestlers were thinking about the crowd outside), it was actually super interesting. There were short matches against different pairs, training different skills (eg pushing someone else across the ring), some work with free weights, and quite a bit of stretching - like sumo squats (of course!) and cossack squats.
We then went to the Samurai Museum where we dressed as samurai for a few minutes (the helmet was so heavy!), followed a guided tour to learn about the history of samurai and ninjas, and even got to throw some ninja stars at the end 😄.
The one temple on the itinerary was Senso-ji, the oldest temple in Tokyo (initially built in 645!!) and the most popular. Like all the other temples, it felt like a money making machine with lots of souvenirs being sold around the area and many opportunities to buy a wish / fortune.
We spent the rest of the day in Harajuku, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. Of course we went to the Shibuya crossing, which is the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world - up to 3,000 people can cross at one time!
I also liked walking through Omoide Yokocho in Shinjuku, which is a narrow alley packed full of restaurants, many serving yakitori. It was a really neat contrast wedged between modern skyscrapers!
