The oneshot I lovingly call “Fuck you Thranduil”
Just a little oneshot that has been floating around my head for a few weeks. Its set after BOTFA where everyone lives / nobody dies (YAY) during the negotiations regarding reparations.
Warnings - if you couldnt tell from the title it contains a few swear words, mentions of assault/abuse of power, mention of bloody death
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well, if you do not agree to our terms then the Arkenstone will remain in our possession."
"Listen here you pointy eared bastard! " Thorin raised a hand to silence his cousin, then brought it to his furrowed brow. The meeting continued to go around in circles, as it had the past few days, no side willing to budge on their demands and no concessions being made.
"I think it time we all took a break." Bard, ever the peacemaker, huffed.  He was already out of his chair and pouring himself another drink. Dain was all worked up and angling for a fight, which with guards and armies assembled would undoubtedly lead to another war leaving countless more dead.
"Amrâlimê, you have barely spoken work since talks began." Thorin turn to you stood next to his chair and kiss your hand.
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to overstep the mark"
"I think we are well past that given the bickering that is occurring. If you would like I can have Dwalin go to back to the mountain, at least then one of us can have a reprieve."  he chuckled through a pain smile. His patience was wearing dangerously thin.
"No, it's okay." you smiled back. A flash of relief washed over Thorin's face. "Plus, I think I have an idea, but it is going to be umm well a bit insane, possibly a little dangerous, and it might make things a whole lot worse.  Do you trust me?" you whispered into his ear.
" Do I trust your judgement? Undoubtably! Your ability to keep yourself safe? Well, that is why we have a small army of guards overseeing the negotiations. If you think it will work, go at least put an end to this, then you have my blessing" Thorin whispered back.
"Excellent!" your hand reached up and caressed his face. As he turned his lips met yours. " if you'll excuse me, I just need to fetch something" you kissed him quickly then left.
"As I have said before, operations you are requesting at out of the question!" Thorin growled cutting Thranduil off.
"Do you mind if I cut in?" you asked before Bard or Thranduil could begin again. Thorin smirked and ushered you forward. "My lords, I think it is important we address your request individually as our current approach is getting as nowhere. Lord Bard I hope you do not mind, but I will be addressing the elven king first.
"Very well" Bard seemed a bit taken aback for a moment that consented regardless.
"For my benefit could you please reiterate your demands Lord Thranduil?"
"The necklace made of jewels of Starlight, pay for my soldiers, and compensation for those lost defending the Mountain!" Thranduil snarled.
"and in exchange you will relinquish your claim on the Arkenstone?" Thranduil tilts his head in your direction, his smug way of agreeing. " brilliant!" you now turned your attention back to Thorin. " as part of my employment contract I am entitled to one fifthteenth of the treasure in Erebor, correct?
"Yes?" everyone was now looking in your direction, confusion plastered across their faces.
"Then I would like to claim this as part of my share" you gesture towards a very distinctive elvish box. " it was after all an item of treasure from within the mountain." Thorin leaned back in his chair, eager to see where you are going with this, while Thranduil’s expression flashes from shock to distain. Your attention now returns to the elven King. "It seems I am now the owner of this beautiful, jewelled necklace that you so desire and unfortunately for you I do not desire the Arkenstone nearly half as much as the dwarfs you were previously dealing with." Thranduil clenched his jaw, trying to keep his composure. He knew he had just lost the upper hand.  You knew the calmer you acted the more frustrated Thranduil would become. Afterall, the last time you had engaged the elven king have almost slit your throat trying to get information about the quest from Thorin and yourself. Now you all that scar with pride but still you held a grudge and would do anything to see that entitled elf brought down a peg or two. " Now from where I am standing, I do not see why you are entitled to anything you're requesting. See it was you who assembled your army against us. You were only caught up in the war because you marched on the mountain for selfish reasons!
"THOSE JEWELS BELONG TO THE ELVES!" Thranduil rose to his full height, likely as a means to intimidate you. However, though he was nearly twice, your size your rage was far greater. You would stand atop the table if you must, to show that Thranduil did not have the upper hand.
"Those jewels belong to me! Regardless of who they belong to in the past after the dragon attacked, anything in that mountain belong to those brave enough to try and reclaim Erebor and since I am counted among those few these jewels on mine." a smirk crossed your face knowing that Thranduil was struggling to keep dignified. " now the deal on the table is these jewels for the Arkenstone."
"I cannot conduct such a trade. My men -----------” before he could even finish his sentence you cut Thranduil off.
"That is a pity. Oh well, I am sure this necklace will look lovely when I wear it to my wedding” you took the Jewels out of their box and drape them over your neck. " my love do you mind?" Wordlessly Thorin stood, brushed your hair to the side, fasten the necklace and placed a kiss with a gems of Starlight grazed your collarbone then sat back down. It seems he was enjoying how flustered Thranduil was becoming, and he did have to admit he did find it rather attractive when you took charge. “Thank you.” You once again switched your attention to another. “My Lord Dain, what do you think?”
“You look divine my lady.” This earned Dain a quick judging glance from Thorin, you were his one after all.
“Hmmmm I don't know, it doesn't sit quite right with my scar. “Your hand traced across the stones, feeling their position on your neck as you turned back to the elven king. “No, I think it would be better if we broke it apart for different jewellery. “
“YOU WILL NOT!” It seems that had caused Thranduil to finally snap. the tip of his sword was now firmly pressed against your throat. all had jumped into position. Dwarves, elves, and men all ready with swords drawn. worry exuded from Thorin however he trusted your calmness and held Dain back.
“Go ahead. Spill my blood all over your wife’s necklace. Did she die wearing it?” A single drop of blood landed on one of the sparkling stones. “Did her blood tarnish the jewels as mine now seems to?” You wiped the warm, sticky blood from the gems and tapped Thranduil’s sword to the side, which he lowered in shock. “Oh, did you not expect me to know the history and why you covet this piece of jewellery so much?“ No words were uttered, the entire tent was silent even Thranduil was speechless. “Now I repeat again, the Arkenstone for the necklace. Or I break it up piece by piece it's that simple.” You gave the elven king a sweet smile, but he said nothing “No? Okay. Thorin my dear, do you reckon it is possible to get one of these gems out with just a knife? or will I need a hammer? I want to do it personally you see.” You had already unclasped the necklace and held it firmly in your grasp.
“A knife should work on some of the smaller stones, aye” Concern had not left Thorin. At any point this could turn deadly. You are pressing buttons that even an orc dare not press. Still, he knew interrupting now would only lead to disaster.
“Great thank you.” You reached down to your boot and took a small knife from within, then placed the necklace on the table ready to take a stab at disassembling it.
“Wait!” Thranduil shouted drawing everyone's attention from you. “You have a deal!” He almost sounded defeated. Almost.
“I will give you this necklace and in exchange you and your army will leave this land. Agreed?”
“. . . . Agreed.“ Thranduil responded flatly.
“and the Arkenstone will be returned?”
“. . . . yes.” Bard and Thranduil exchanged a look but agreed nonetheless.
“Don't worry Bard, I still acknowledge your claim on the Arkenstone as well.” He gave you a slow nod of acknowledgement. “Then it's a deal!” Thranduil watched as you gently placed the necklace back into its box, then held out your hand to shake on the deal. Apparently, that was not how deals were usually ended in Middle Earth.
“Come, we should leave these accursed lands!” Thranduil took the box from the table and quickly turned on his heels, not even acknowledging the other Kings at the table.
“Oh! Thranduil” you called after the elven King. As he turned, you flung a single gold coin at him. “I'm feeling generous. Here, consider this a donation towards your troops.” He scowled and swiftly left, causing Dain to burst into bouts of uncontrolled laughter.
“Up yours! You gangly bugger!” Dane managed to pant out through laughter. Thorin looked at you full of love, pride, and bemusement. You moved across the room and sat on the table across from Bard. He looked vaguely terrified but concealed it well.
“Back in Laketown Thorin gave his word that the wealth of the mountain would be shared. Bilbo and I vouched for him.” Bard nodded, not entirely sure where you were going. Your calmness unnerving for all now. “If he does not keep his word it would reflect poorly on me. Now I cannot have that. You will receive enough gold to rebuild Dale and Laketown.” You quickly glanced at Thorin to ensure he wasn't already scowling. “Your people will be looked after through the winter and they will receive compensation for the dragon attack and the battle. Is this acceptable?”
“That is very generous my lady.” Thorin and Bard locked eyes. Thorin’s usual scowl had returned causing Bard to shift his attention back to you. You briefly returned Thorin’s scowl, letting him know this was happening whether he liked it or not.
“If the King doesn't keep up with payments please inform me. I will ensure everything is taken care of. I took the Liberty of bringing a chest so that you need not leave here empty handed.“ Bard gave you a quick bow and took the chest from one of the dwarven guards, leaving the Arkenstone behind on the table. Turning back to Thorin and Dain you could see they weren't nearly as happy as when Thranduil left.
“That was far more than I was willing to give, amrâlimê”
“When you failed to provide adequate compensation, you called my honour into question Thorin. Thorin looked slightly ashamed at your remark. “At least I earned you back the Arkenstone my love.” Since you weren't in a caring mood you took the opportunity to sit on your Kings lap.
“You were very impressive ghivâshelûh” Thorin tilted your chin up to inspect the wound on your neck. It was only minor. and required no further attention.
“Remind me not to get on the wrong side of the future Queen” Dain chuckled.
“You might have to remind me the same cousin.” Thorin smiled giving you a kiss.

I have an idea for a one-shot! How about Amy having a breakdown for the first time in her life and Shadow, her boyfriend, tries everything that is within his possibilities to help and comfort her, having to bear the sight of his cheerful girlfriend now soaked with tears and suffering? I have seen in many fanfics how Shadow breaks down (for being the cold one), it would be interesting to see Amy being the one who has it. I hope you like this idea :3
They were hard times.
Now that Sonic was gone. Eggman had taken the upper hand. Everyone had tried to stop him. Well at least Knuckles and Amy did but the best they did was to take one of infinite’s eyes as a trophy.
And Tails well… he just lost it.
Shadow the hedgehog wanted to try as well. However, along the way, he met Amy Rose. He still remembers the first time he saw her there on the battlefield. Fierce eyes, dust, and injuries all over her body. Dirty hair and a thought bandage around her waist. Her overly used hammer had now gotten a few scratches but still looked as strong as ever. Her stance firm and delicate but elegant as ever.
The battle was over and both of their bodies laid exhausted as they tried to get their breath back to their lungs. Breathing heavily, looking up at the blue sky that was rapidly growing darker by the second.
“I thought you were going to head over Eggman’s main base…what stopped you?”. Amy has gotten the courage to speak up to him. It had been many years since they had last spoken, but it was always good to see a “friendly” face.
“I couldn’t let you and your group have all the fun.” Being the ultimate life form, it was weird for Shadow to be this tired. He felt the rain began to touch his muzzle and without knowing, he found himself completely wet from head to toes. It wasn’t a bad feeling, it was one of the few times where he was feeling alive.
“If you want to have more fun…why don’t you come and join the Resistance?”
And that is how Shadow the hedgehog joined Amy, Knuckles and everyone else on their mission to stop Eggman’s invasion. Pretty romantic, I must say. Amy Rose came back with a legend and everyone was happy to meet him. It was someone who they heard stories of when they were kids. Of times when they were happy and took their freedom for granted. Many lives were taken that day, but a hero had raised to action.
Shadow was a new challenge to the raising Resistance Hero, Silver the Hedgehog. Even Shadow had to admit that he fought with Silver way more than he would do with Sonic. And it wasn’t because Silver was a cocky one, no he was completely different from him.
Silver is smart, thinks before he speaks, helps people out of pure common good and is really humble. A total hero. If it wasn’t because he would flirt all the time with Amy Rose aka the captain, Silver could of have the complete respect from Shadow. Or at least that what Shadow thought.
“Who’s that white hedgehog anyways?”. Shadow looked over to Amy who was very concentrated type on her computer at that time. Even in her deep state of mind, she found Shadow’s voice rang through her ears.
“That’s Silver the Hedgehog. A hero from the future, he came to help us defeat Eggman so his future could be saved from disaster as well.” Amy took her sight a moment away from the computer and realized that she needed to put on her glasses before eyes take any more damage from the screen light.
“He looks like a hormonal teenage boy to me,” Shadow added as he looked over to Amy.
“But you are a hormonal teenage boy too, Shadow.” Amy looked over at him for a bit before going back to look for her glasses. She could have sworn she had left them at the upper casket of her desk.
“Experience is what makes you mature, believe me when I say I’ve had my own intake on that.”
Amy at this moment would really appreciate if Shadow stopped talking for a second and helped her do something more productive. Don’t get her wrong, she likes talking to him. But recently, she has felt how Shadow had gotten ‘closer,’ to her. He walks with her, makes conversations and even shares his food with her sometimes which she appreciated. But she would really like to be alone sometimes when work was needed to be complete.
“Well, we don’t know what he is been through either, Shadow. But that is not of our concern. He is a sweet, pure-hearted boy who is risking his life every day to protect everyone’s future and that I respect.”
That shut him up real quick. Amy didn’t want to sound mean either. Nonetheless, looking at Shadow’s face made her realize that maybe she sounded way too annoyed with Shadow’s presence.
“Look, Shadow-“
“Amy! I think you are looking for this”.
Amy and Shadow’s attention now headed to the raising hero who walked through the Resistance’s main door with that incredible smile of his that made most females on the Resistance fall for him right there and then.
“My glasses! Where did you find them?!”. Amy run towards him, her mood changing completely and Shadow noticed this.
“You left them at the training room, I found them before anyone broke them.” Silver gently gave them to her and Amy swirled as she grabbed them and put them on.
“Now I can finish my work, thank you, Silver, you really are a life saver!.” Amy gave him a hug which Silver responded happily.
That’s when Shadow knew he couldn’t compete against that.
There was too much history. Past missions he didn’t know, in-jokes he wasn’t aware of, many moments shared between them and memories that bounded them together.
It’s not like Shadow was there for Amy when the news arrived that Sonic passed away. Silver was and he was the only one so far that could calm Amy down on her panic attacks.
And even when his pride hurt, Shadow could never express how grateful he was that Silver would help calm down his girlfriend when he couldn’t.
And he respected that.
But now it was living hell. Their mission had failed. Infinite had created his own army made out of clones in which it completely outnumbers the Resistance’s. How? The Intelligence section of the Resistance still didn’t know. There was only one fact known to everyone… more than half of the Resistance soldier’s lives were lost.
And the names were still unknown.
As soon as the order to retreat was given, Shadow, who was given the mission to infiltrate to Eggman’s base, rushed from his location to the battlefield. But he didn’t find Amy. He began to feel panic, and if it wasn’t because he knew that Amy was a skilled fighter, he would of have lost it by now.
“Mr. Shadow, you should head over the Resistance’s Head Quarters, Captain Amy didn’t seem like herself…we are away from danger now, so please go ahead”. One of the soldiers reassured Shadow, he placed his hand on the rookie’s shoulder and gave him a grateful look.
After that, he went as fast as his legs allowed him. It began to rain so hard that even Shadow’s good vision wasn’t enough to keep him from falling once in a while.
Covered with mud from head to toes, Shadow entered the Resistance’s base, the room was dark and the only thing that could be seen was the computer’s screen that emitted light showing, again and again, the happenings of today’s tragedy.
“If you are looking for Amy, she’s not here”. Knuckles was sitting on a chair, his head down, looking at the floor. “I think today was too much for her”.
Shadow knew what he meant. Although Amy was a strong individual, she had her limits. Shadow had to admit that this were the days that he was scared the most. He loved Amy so much, but the thought of saying something that might hurt her in the state that she was in right now , scared him the most.
“Where is Silver?”. Shadow asked in hopes that the white hedgehog was already taking care of his beloved.
“That’s the thing…Silver didn’t come back”.
It took Shadow one hour to finally find her. The rain covered her fully, her wet dress mashed against the grass. Her piko piko hammer lying next to her, her knees and legs touching the floor.
Shadow’s heartbeat began to increase as he saw Amy’s face began to change drastically. If Amy’s pain was an ocean, Shadow wanted to be drowning on it. He preferred anything but the involuntary pain Amy was inflicting on him by her suffering like this.
Shadow’s feet were paralyzed as if they were glued to the ground. Shadow was everything but a good boyfriend, and he knew that. Whenever Amy had one of her panic attacks, Silver would be the one to be there for her. That was something that Shadow could never do because he was selfish. Shadow couldn’t just bare it. He never could, he was always scared of hurting her. He didn’t want to cause any type of harm to his beautiful cheerful girlfriend. He just didn’t want to ruin the best thing that has ever happened to him but now… he regretted it.
He regretted not even trying to be better for her.
But every time he saw her like that…he would break.
Her beautiful laugh had become a desperate scream. Her soft skin was now covered with self-inflicted scratches. And her delicate body moved front and back in a fast manner. Once in a while, her head would make an impact with the ground until blood would come out of her skull.
And there was nothing Shadow could do. He wasn’t strong enough, he never was. He was a pathetic piece of trash, something that should have never be born, a complete disaster. A worthless failure.
But not her… no, not her.
“Shadow, Silver is…Silver is-”
“Do you remember when you asked me to be your boyfriend?”.
Shadow’s sudden voice startles Amy as she put her up to face him. Her pupils dilated from crying as she noticed Shadow in front of her, kneeled as he grabbed her hands and began to caress them. Amy stared at him with a blank expression on her face. By this, Shadow continued his tale.
It was their seventh mission together and the tension between them was obvious, at least that’s what everyone on the Resistance would say.
“It’s just like when we met, remember?.”, Amy was lying next to Shadow, the battle was over and the rain had stopped. The clouds began to disperse and little by little sunlight was passing through it.
“Shadow…”
Shadow turned his head to face Amy as she did the same. The light shone on her face, making her look like a goddess. And Shadow couldn’t do anything but to be awed by her.
“…would you allow me to be by your side…forever?”
“Amy…I have done terrible things, I am a failure, I made mistakes that don’t let me sleep at night. Do you really want to be with someone as broken as me?”
“You are wrong . You are more than that…that’s not you… No, you are anything but that… no, not you.”
"You told me that you were broken, but the one who had always been broke was me.“, Amy’s voice broke as she felt Shadow’s lips touch her hand.
Shadow wiped away the tear that was slowly making its way down to Amy’s chin.
“Even when you are broken, you helped me picked up my pieces and put them back together. Amy, you may be broken, but this time I promise you, I’ll be by your side…forever.”
“I am sorry that you have to deal with this horrible side of me. That you feel the need to repair me. I am a mistake, a failure, a-”
Shadow placed a gentle kiss on Amy’s lip, interrupting her.
“You are wrong. You are more than that. That’s not you…no, not you.”

A/n: Sorry for the long wait, I had been working on some other personal ShadAmy fanfictions that are on process. I hope this is somewhat what you wanted, I enjoyed writing this since its a bit out of my comfort zone. I aware this is somehow a bit different from what you asked me. This wasn’t Amy’s first breakdown/panic attack but it was Shadow’s first time responding to that; I wanted to create a powerful scene to that so therefore I changed it up a bit. I apologize for that, hopefully you can still enjoy reading this. Thank you for the opportunity and thank you for the beautiful prompt idea.
In any case, if anyone wants to know, Silver was found alive. So yupiii!
If anyone has any other prompts request or ideas, send me a dm! Thank you :)

Tyrant - Ruler of the outer lands
Tyrant is a merciless being, unless you can count the mockery of a merciful-death he grants to those who survive his initial attack as mercy, who rules over much of the lands outside of Creator claim with  iron-fisted control and a compliance born of terror and fear for what he does to those who disobey him. He is massive, standing taller than most, if not all, of the naturally tall mini-mayhems, and he wields a strength that is truly something that could be boasted of, allowing for him to wield his war-hammer, a weapon of choice, and take down mocs many times his size, an activity he has done at multiple occasions and enjoyed each time. While there are tales that he once was a peaceful, kind ruler, who controlled a much smaller, more peaceable kingdom, if said tales are supposed to be believed, the disappearance of his wife, soon followed by a lasting, crippling disease, and later death for his son have long since shattered the kind king and left naught but the beast that remains. Tyrant first came into true being after slaughtering the previous owner of that name, a wide feared moc who controlled a large area of the outer-realm, and the house of his creator, long since killed by his hand, kept as his kingdom. After ending the first Tyrant this king of unknown name took his name as his, along with his kingdom, and skull as crown. Since then he has begun expanding his land in what seems to be a plan to control all of it, quite literally causing a war between his armies and all mocs, from wild to those assorted house-mocs that choice to join in their attempt to defeat him, for his first, and final large scale attack. The last because he won that war, and took control of all the territory lost within it, and the mocs who'd once laid claim to it. So far he is continuing his expansion, aiming for both Creator-claimed land and not. Hiring criminals, thugs, the scum of society and those alike to form his armies and keepers of 'peace' for the lands he cannot always be in. But not even they are safe, for he is more than willing to remove those who attempt to take advantage of their position and break the rules he set for them. He is even more dangerous than the previous Tyrant who's skull he now wears as crown in his actions, carrying a greater fear than even him from both the rumors surrounding him, and the truth known of him, such as that he personally carries out the execution and punishment of those who fight, and that he leads all battles himself, and leaves none alive in his wake. He has even accomplished events not even the first was willing to take, the death of a Creator, and not just one. But, he's not idiotic enough to attack one in their territory, there they are strong, strong enough to kill him easily with their 'home-field' advantage. So he plans, waits and watches until a time comes that they leave, enter an area they can be killed, even if it is a difficult task, he will look forward to attending that battle. Now, despite how idiotic such actions may seem, purposely aggravating Creator's and all, he is in fact quite a genius. He is never without a plan, and despite a large portion of his army consisting of criminals of ill-report and suspicious alliance, an even bigger portion consists of 'blank'-mayhems, a 'moc' build he helped design, and he's forced the scientists he's encountered and captured to perfect, and mass produce. The blank-mayhems are in basic, blank, emotionless slates. Robots who can only follow commands and have no sentience, thus bypassing any need for creative energy, and giving him an army he's ensured can never betray him. He did once attempt to create a variant, a more sentient version of the commander build, a 'blank' coded to be able to distrubute his commands out to a group of the standard blank-mayhems. It was a failure, the sentience developing in a way that was unplanned for and leaving what he'd designed as a death machine as nothing more than a failure in his mind, a failure he quickly threw away, leaving trashed on the outskirts of his territory in a state that would most likely soon render it shutdown by his beliefs. He also, at a much earlier time, attempt to create a virus that would allow him to gain more 'loyal' subjects by overriding the infected Moc's mind and rewriting it into a more controllable state. Unfortunately, for him that is, it didn't work, the henchmen he'd sent out with the finished product for its initial test returning with many dead and reports that the virus proved to weak, managing to only overwrite the Moc's mind, a Mini-mayhem moc at that, enough to damage his mentality before being beaten down by the Mayhem's own. It did manage to form an offshoot of itself while they kept the moc in isolation, forming into a more aggressive, albeit seemingly mentally weaker, secondary personality, the Mayhem seeming to have relinquished control to it before it began attacking the group, slaughtering many before being stopped and the personality losing control, according to the reports. The Mayhem himself, after being reverted and shocked unconscious through loss of a leg, was believed to be dead after the remaining thugs disposed of him in the parts pile of a known Creator known as Essence near that area. Despite his cruelty and perceived mercilessness, he actually has loyal subjects, if very few of them. His head scientist, a moc 'freed' from a Creator who hated him, being one of them and more scattered around. (Not counting any cults based upon him.) He also has one, unknown weakness, child-mocs. He has never killed a single child nor allowed for injury so long as he can stop it in any of his battles, or any of the towns he's been in, quite literally killing those he find that abuse their child and personally selecting them a new family. But he hides it in ways, not going visibly out of his way to protect nor help them, but finding ways to excuse it in such a way that none suspect him. In fact most fear he is planning to kill their kids, his tendency to, at times, send an 'invite' for visitation to one of those nearest to his 'castle', does not help. Their safe return with presents, odd new skill at chess, and the temporary 'ignorance' of their family by Tyrant ignored from the account. He also holds a soft spot in his heart for his own species, if a one masked with his cruelty. From slaughtering near all of the wild monochrome-mayhem tribes, to enslaving the beast/feral-mayhems, both wild tribes that once highly opposed him, and other 'punishments. Yet that is it, he punishes them, he doesn't slaughter all/multiple of them like he'd do to any other wild-tribe that had continued resistance against him, only those who actively resist. Sure, said punishments are quite cruel, being the death of the individual in question, but he rarely ever carries out the execution himself, leaving it to his minions. Once he never participated in them but after an incident involving the unconfirmed death of an escaping youngling beast-mayhem and a cliff, he was forced to remove that hesitation somewhat, and the 'guards' involved with that incident. Currently there are three known goals of Tyrant: The first is to control all territory, all land. To be a 'king' who none shall ever oppose. And, other than the Creator homes, he has gotten close, very few free tribes remaining and many of the resistance forces cut down. The second is to find The Kingdom, a hidden mini-mayhem territory he has only heard rumors of, from the potential threats of a king near his size known as Albus to two who have overtaken him, and gained his size, to their uncounted army of mini-mayhems that they wielded the power to create, and that its rumored existence is located near the Creator who started his species, an entity he has yet to find, and wishes to either control, or destroy. And the third, and most known one, is to find a Moc, one he has asked of in every tribe of related species he has taken, a Mini-mayhem known by the name of Jetflare Personality: Cold, uncaring, cruel, controlling, vicious, aggressive, willing to do nigh-all to accomplish his goals, and intelligent on top, all the qualities that made him into the most-feared, and perfect Tyrant. He cares little for many of his subjects, and armies lives, and for those few he does he hides it. He personally leads all battles and will subject himself to anything, any amount of pain so long as it means he will become stronger and more able to reach his goals. Other attributes: He has purposely had his head modified to allow him to remove his standard Mini-mayhem head piece and replace it with his crown, keeping both removable, usually carrying his Mayhem head piece attached to his back for when he wishes to 'relax'. His right arm is actually unnatural to his build, a purposeful mutation he appeared to have put himself through before becoming known as Tyrant, for both the increased claws and a more powerful strength within it. He actually has quite a few pieces of removable armour on himself, attached to him for both protection and to make his form all that much more menacing, ensuring his reputation as the most feared-being shall remain. The pieces so far include his 'crown', shoulder mounted skull-based armour, and the clawed panels on his upper legs. Tyrant's legs have a permanent, slightly digitigradle bend to them, giving him a slightly animalistic air when noticed. The crystal on his right arms wrist is attached by a chain that has both been wrapped around his wrist, and wielded to it. The reason behind why he's done such, and why he keeps it is, as of yet, unknown, but he has shown himself to be highly protective of it, going so far as to kill a Moc who merely brushed across it. (Of course, I'm certain I know someone who might understand the importance behind such a crystal.) There are also rumors he once dabbled in cloning but they are yet to be confirmed. Weapons: Tyrants preferred weapon is his war-hammer, a weapon that assures death to his opponents when combined with his strength, but he will wield others as needed and understand the import' of being skilled in others. Due to this he has installed working kanoka disk launchers in his forearms, both in case of opponents behind him and for menacing design, and is highly trained in both double handed sword use, and dual wielded sword use. ================ This guy was inspired both from Toa-Shifter's amazing series and some of Jedder77's own crazy Mini-mayhem mocs and the ideas behind them. Really this guy just kind of randomly popped into my head a while ago when I was thinking of how a series based around my own Moc's, and understanding/beliefs of the MM au, but I didn't fully know how to utilize him/make him work out at first (the fact I didn't believe I had the parts to make him at first didn't help), but I have to say after reading some of Jedder's ideas, and watching a few 'house-based' moc series, helped me really develop him into what he is now! He speaks in a blood-red (RGB: 138,7,7) version of this font: www.ffonts.net/Zombie-Holocaus… (Also, as you may notice, I threw quite a few... 'references' to certain characters (including a highly blatant one), and how they may have come to be/ended up in their current states in there with his bio. I wonder if you guys'll get 'em. I hope you do.~)

Entry 283
Gaming with Raine was a wonderful way to get to know her better, and few enough were awake throughout the night that we really had interruptions, leaving me with an abundance of time to learn more about her.
She once told me that lightning seemed fairly quick in an off-hand way that made lightning sound slow next to her, but her heart was every bit as kind as her feet were swift.  Playing the game of seemingly limitless possibilities, Raine chose to be a crafter, helping to make the dreams of others become a reality for them.  I doubted that I was the only one who noticed how much cheaper Raine made things for her guildmates than average market price, and there was no doubt in my mind that she was very well aware of the losses she took.
During my months here, I saw time and again the incredible power of my fellow residents, but I still couldn't even guess at what Raine's limits were, mentally or physically.  Raine's mind was infinitely fascinating to me.  Speaking to her of crafting, not once did I find a question she could not answer immediately in enough detail to make Aaliyah proud.  Her social anxiety limited the jobs she took in the real world, but she knew everything she had done in perfect detail far beyond what I could manage with my vampiric sense.
With James joining us to chase down rare meteoric materials, the enormous gap between Raine's abilities and my own would only be more obvious, considering that I couldn't come close to competing with James, who was a far cry from beating Raine on anything other than charm.
She had been playing with her kitten while waiting for James to get ready, but she started to move the moment he approached, despite not looking at her screen till he was by her side.
With all of the running around we had done in preparation, I only had a vague notion of where the meteorite would be found.  Raine, who hesitated continuously when speaking with others, moved confidently as she led the way, probably having an exact spot in mind.
As we walked, she explained to James in detail the value of what we might find.  There were numerous materials only to be found when they crashed to the ground, and she knew every possible use of each one.  James proved to be as inquisitive as I was the first time around, asking for more examples with each material he favored.  Eternite was his obviously his favorite as he expounded on how great it would be for the guild.
“Are you two ready for this?” questioned James as we neared the edge of civilization.
“Of course.” I insisted, despite feeling a little nervous.  Madeleine, my character, was modeled after my features, despite being a halfling.  I had made her a healer, unabashedly mimicking a vampire I freely admired, though Madeline could never match Ariadne’s skill.  James was one of the best combatants in the guild, but he was our sole offensive character, heading into the most dangerous territory near our guild.  Raine’s Nekopawpaw would easily outlive the Madeleine and Ignus if my healing proved insufficient.  With no experience in any combat skills, she was still nearly impossible to hit and knew how to utilize her crafting skills efficiently in combat.
Raine took a deep breath, slowly letting it out as she nodded.  With her assent, we pushed into the wilds, traveling carefully as we could while keeping pace with Raine's character.  One of the many surprises with Nekopawpaw was her speed.  I never would have guessed that a crafter could be so quick before seeing Nekopawpaw at work, blurring around her workshop.
"G-Goblins!" exclaimed Raine in a loud whisper.
Hearing her, the goblins charged.  As Nekopawpaw jumped back, I moved Madeleine behind Ignus as he quickly unleashed a fire spell that incinerated them.  Typically weak individually, Goblins could still swarm a strong character, wearing them down.  James' attack was a good choice.
“T-that was… t-that was kinda… m-mean.” mumbled Raine.
“Huh?  They were going to attack us.” stated James in confusion.
“B-but w-what if… if t-they w-wanted to… to t-talk." she argued.
“I’ve never seen goblins wanting to talk before, and we need to be careful.” he insisted.
She practically vanished into her chair, obviously disappointed.
Sighing, he said, “I’m sorry.  I’ll try talking first next time.”. Catching sight of me, he looked startled for a moment.
Doing my best not to laugh at Raine's adorableness, I had replaced my mouth with skin and removed my larynx.  The sight couldn't be that disturbing.  James had seen worse.
Not too long later, we encountered another group of goblins.  This time, James did his best to try speaking with them as he skillfully dodged their attacks.  Meanwhile, Raine started speaking in a semi-guttural language that apparently required a very noisy mouth.  As James and I watched, avoiding the goblins who weren't replying to Raine, she seemed to have a conversation with them.
“T-they…  t-they… w-want to eat us.” she muttered in English.
“I guess we kill them first then.” replied James, moving Ignus to strike.
“N-no!” exclaimed Raine.  “I-I’m g-giving them food… i-instead.”
“Oh.  Sorry.” he replied, having Ignus lower his weapon.
The goblins actually did stop fighting as Raine initiated a trade with them.  They took the food she offered and cautiously retreated.  Well, all but one.  The last lunged at Nekopawpaw, greedily wanting more.  Before I could even cast a shield spell, Nekopawpaw pulled out a smithing hammer and bashed the goblin's head, which cause stars to circle it, signifying the creature was stunned.  From his expression, I felt James was stunned too!
“B-bad goblin.” rebuked Raine, pointing the hammer at the goblin till the stun lifted.
Feeling curious, I asked “How did you learn to speak goblin?”
“T-the l-library.  M-most languages c-can be f-found there.” she explained.  “Aalilyah t-told me.  H-her c-character always t-talks her way out of t-things.”
“I honestly had assumed that was just some GM ability.” admitted James.
“N-no.  I-I’ll get b-better.” insisted Raine.
“I’m sure you will.” he assured her.
“Know any of the other rare languages?” I inquired, glad she could see the smile tugging at my lip.
“All t-that are in the g-guild library.” she mumbled.
The guild library was enormous thanks to Aaliyah allocating a large amount of funds toward it.  I could only imagine how large the language section was.
“Whoa.  You’ve been busy.  Mind showing me sometime?” I asked.
“I-I’ll g-glady show you.” she replied, smiling at me.  If she noticed that I was amused, she didn’t seem to care.
“Mila, how many books on languages are stored in our guild library?” questioned James.
“Three hundred and one, master.  I would be happy to teach them to you.” she replied, sounding suggestive, as she always did when speaking with him.
“Not right now.” he replied, ignoring the suggestion in her voice.
“Three hundred and one!?  That’s crazy!” I exclaimed.  “And they’re really full languages?”
“Y-yes.” stated Raine.
At the same time, Mila said, “Of course.  What else would you expect from mother?  Her father is a linguist, you know.  I will warn you that their use in everyday life will be slightly cumbersome, since she created no words for things that are not found within the game.  Some of the languages are limited even within the game.  Goblins, for example, have no word for ‘door’.  They don’t use doors, make doors, or care about doors, so they never bothered with naming it.”
“Aww… I still feel we could have fun with it.” I insisted, imagining reactions from others as Raine and I conversed in goblin.
“I should also warn you that learning the language yourself doesn’t count as your character learning it.” explained Mila.  “If you were to speak goblin as Raine did, your words will sound like nonsense to those around you unless your character has the skill.”
“Why did you offer to teach me then?” questioned James.
“Because you know I’m far better than a book, master.” she insisted flirtatiously.
Giggling, I said, “Who can argue with that?”
No one tried.  Offending Mila would be like offending a nanny who had dedicated her life to raising you; you’d have to be a monster not to feel guilty.  Instead, we ventured farther into the wilderness, letting Raine talk our way out of fights against intelligent creatures.  Surprisingly, Raine didn’t complain when James killed giant frogs, though she insisted he used weapons to avoid damaging parts she could use for cooking.
Hours after our journey began, we encountered terrain distinctly different from what came before it.  The vegetation here seemed to rot as it lived, creating a disgusting environment that would probably smell as foul as it looked if the game could provide olfactory stimulation.
“We should head back.” stated James.  He was frowning as he watched his screen.
“We’re so close though!  Can’t we just be careful?” I asked, not wanting to leave without Raine getting what excited her so much.
“We can try, but we’re goners if we encounter the creature.  This might be the one that escaped last summer.” replied James with firm resolve.
“Wasn’t playing yet.  How bad was it?” I asked lightly, hoping to ease his tension.
“The guild formed to fight them, and every last one of us died during the last battle, trying to fight two demons at once.  We did manage to kill one of them though.”
“What!?  How much of the guild was there?” I questioned in surprise.  Our guild was enormous!
“Over twenty thousand members.” he stated.  “Ancient Tribes of Earth somehow manages full army combat without crashing the server or causing low end PCs to freeze.”
“I kinda want to see this.  That sounds so cool!” I admitted, imagining the massive army facing off against a mighty foe.
“Y-you d-didn’t have to d-do so many r-repairs for people.” muttered Raine.
“Oh.  Yeah.  I suppose we did make you a bit busier than normal even.  Sorry!” exclaimed James, looking at her apologetically.
“I d-don’t mind.” she assured him, embarrassed by the attention.
“Let’s do this!” moving Madeleine toward the smoking crater ahead.
Raine let me stay in the lead, which wasn’t exactly comforting, but James was coming along as well.  Live or die, we were having an adventure!

AKiss of Death, Or Just A Good Call?
Good Day… And a Wonderful Wednesday to you! Another beautiful day here in St. Louis yesterday. As I’ve always said, “if this keeps up, we won’t be able to afford to live here!” But you won’t ever hear me complain about Chamber of Commerce weather! I’ve whined enough over the years about cold weather, and how I had to go where it’s warm, so you won’t catch me changing horses in the middle of the stream! Steely Dan greets me this morning with their song: Reeling In The Years… (I do love me some Steely Dan!)
Well, Monday’s non-movement in most investment assets, was replaced by some currency volatility, and dollar strength. This dollar strength has stretched its tentacle across the globe, and there doesn’t seem to be one currency that was able to escape the dollar’s moves. The worst performing asset yesterday was Oil, which lost the $ 44 handle, and is sinking quickly toward $ 42, as it trades this morning at $ 43.34.
This awful performance in Oil had really set the Petrol Currencies back on their heels, and this time even the head scratching loonie has seen some value taken from it. While the price of Oil was rebounding earlier this year, the lead dog of the Petrol Currencies, the Russian ruble, would be out front ratcheting up gains VS the dollar, hand over fist… But now that the bloom is off the rose of the Oil price, the ruble is getting hammered daily…
And don’t think for a minute that the ruble’s current hammering isn’t also tied to the aggressive stance against the U.S’s shooting down of a Syrian plane earlier this week. I know, it’s just words between Russia and the U.S. but as I explained yesterday, this is no time to be ticking off Russia…  We’re so stretched and bogged down in the Middle East, and all that is worrying the bejeebers out of me!
The euro hasn’t really lost much ground to the dollar as I look at the currency screen this morning. The euro is still sniffing around the 1.1150 figure this morning, which to me, is pretty impressive, given the dollar strength being displayed around the globe!  And that brings me to the soapbox, where I’m going to step up and make a call… Are you ready for this? OK, here goes!
First off, I sure hope this doesn’t turn out to be the Old Chuck’s Kiss of Death… But I’m so confident about this thought that it might be able to overcome that Kiss of Death, that usually comes along once I talk glowingly about something! OK, enough beating around the bush, for that’s just not my bag, baby!
tap, tap, tap, is the microphone on? Testing, one, two, three… Can you hear me in the back? Good! OK, Ahem, here goes.. I believe that the strong dollar trend is coming to an end, and the main beneficiary of that will be the euro.. More and more I read and see that traders are growing more and more concerned about the weakening economy here in the U.S. and the fact that the Fed keeps hiking rates into that weakening.
While in the Eurozone, we’re seeing the European Central Bank beginning to warm up to removing their accommodating monetary policy, as the Eurozone economy spools up and inflation returns to the region’s economies. I read this and it is so good, that I have to use it now… Right now the euro is like the Jack-in-the-Box right before it starts to pop out…
Back in 2002, I wrote a white paper titled: 2003, The Year of the Euro… I’m thinking I need to pull that out and dust it off, and say that 2017-18 is going to be the New Year of the Euro! I know, I know, the Eurozone has its own set of problems, but you see sentiment really drives currencies these days, and the sentiment toward the dollar is eroding quickly, while the sentiment toward a recovery in the Eurozone seems to be “in vogue”… So, I’ve told you this before, but here goes… I learned early in my career that spans back to 1973 (I know I don’t look that old do I? HAHAHA!) and that is that “the markets are never wrong”…
What that means is of course they could be wrong, and I’ve pointed how wrong it was several times through the years, but weather its wrong or not, if the markets have an axe to grind on some asset, then don’t stand in their way. They may be wrong about it, but that doesn’t matter one iota, so don’t forget that!
Gold sure can’t get off the canvas, where it has been knocked down from a flurry of shots from the dollar, and the short Gold paper traders, of course! Yesterday, Gold tried to mount a rally, but was stopped short of the border, and ended the day with a $ 1 loss… No biggie, but a loss nonetheless, in a time period that just won’t let Gold loose…  I say that, but in the early morning trading today, Gold has mustered up a $ 4 gain, so we’ll have to wait-n-see if “da boyz” as Ed Steer calls them want to take their pound of flesh again today from Gold’s value…
In 2006, my friends, Addison Wiggin of Agora Financial, and Bill Bonner, the creator of the Agora Publishing Company, co-wrote a book titled: Empire of Debt… The Rise of an Epic Financial Crisis… In the book the two tell the history of many republics through history that turned into Empires and then crumbled because of a couple of things. Extending their armies too thin, and running up huge debts that had them find ways to deal with the debt, like debasing the money, and raising taxes, until the money could be debased any longer, nor could taxes be raised any higher, and the Empire crumbled… The two did this history lesson to compare the greatest empire in the world at the time, The Roman Empire, to the U.S. Empire… And yesterday, in Bill Bonner’s Diary, he compared the two again, but only this time he used a comparison of Trump and Julius Caesar… Boy, did this bring back memories of history classes, then reading the Empire of Debt, and then the follow-up The New Empire of Debt that came out in 2009…
I thought it would be fun to go through some of the things we worried about in 2006 with regards to debt… In 1987 Consumer Credit (read debt) was $ 672.2 Billion.. in 2006 it was $ 2.1 Trillion, and in 2017 it is $ 2.8 Trillion In 1987 Total Household Debt was $ 2.7 Trillion. In 2006 it was $ $ 10.764 Trillion, and in 2017 it is $ 12.73 Trillion In 1987 Domestic Business Debt was $ 1.9 Trillion. In 2006 It was $ 5.2 Trillion, and in 2017 it is $ 5.9 Trillion And the kicker of things that I think foretell us a recession is near… the last time I was invited to speak at the Agora Financial Symposium in Vancouver, B.C. was 2015… And I brought this little ditty to the audience then… The total U.S. current Debt, which included: Gov’t, State, Business, and individual debt had crossed $ 60 Trillion for the first time! Well that was 2015, guess what that number is today? Well, if you said more than $ 67 Trillion, you would be the winner, winner, Chicken dinner!
All this debt is unsustainable, and while that’s quite evident, it’s not imminent, but… What if it was? What would you do? Well, I think that most likely you would scramble to find a reputable Gold dealer… But by then it will be too late, because of all the people that listened to people like me and told them that time to buy insurance is before the floods… I often use this saying.. That’s too late to remind yourself to drain the swamp when you’re up to your rear with alligators! Don’t wait for the alligators, folks… That’s all I’m saying…
Whew! my fat fingers were flying all over the keyboard, as the thoughts just kept coming into my head about the Empire of Debt.. And like I said above, the damage to the dollar from all this debt, might be evident, but it’s not imminent just yet… And that brings me to another thought… I’ve long said that “we’re turning Japanese”, following the Japanese down this deep, dark, dangerous (look at me being the poet! HA) road of debt accumulation. And it’s been pointed out to me that the yen hasn’t really suffered from all their debt..  Well, I guess that’s their opinion, because it’s in my mind that not that too long ago, the yen was trading about 80, and today it’s 111..  (it’s a European priced currency so the higher the number the less in value it returns in dollars, because it takes more of the currency to equal a dollar)
A couple of years ago, yen was 120-ish, and looking like it was going to 150, and I still think that’s where it belongs, given the fundamentals of the country, along with the demographics, and their inability to reform, but Japan still enjoys this “safe haven” status, which just boggles my mind to no end. Safe from what? over 3 decades of an economic funk and deflation? Oh, please sir, may I have another?  NOT!
So, I was really on my horse this morning about debt, Gold, the dollar, yen, and the euro, but those were the things on my mind today… So, guess who gets to share in my thoughts today? You dear reader! HA!
The HA! and HAHAHAHA! that I use in the Pfennig, I borrowed from my good friend, the Great Mogambo Guru (MGM)… He calls me a Junior Mogambo Ranger (JMR)… And quotes me from time to time… Many years ago, and I mean many years ago, when he first quoted me, he said that he didn’t know why he was quoting me, because I had never sent him any candy or flowers…  So, reading that, I found out his address and sent me a bouquet of flowers with a box of candy, as if we were long lost lovers! HA! And we’ve been friends since… I even carry around with me every day for luck, a Mogambo Guru minted Silver Coin, with his mug and his saying on the coin… “This Investing Stuff Is Easy… Wheeee!”
To recap, it was a good day for the dollar yesterday, as the no-movement Monday, turned into a terrible Tuesday for the currencies and the price of Oil, which continues to drive lower… Chuck gets up on the soapbox for the euro, and has a flashback to 2006 and reading the Empire of Debt… You’ll want to check out the debt numbers that Chuck throws out there today…
For What It’s Worth… Well, I spent some time on the price of Oil today, and so when I came across this article on Bloomberg, I thought it played nicely in the sandbox with what I had said, so here’s the article’s link where you can read it all:  https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-06-19/oil-s-slide-stalls-as-investors-weigh-stockpiles-against-Libya
Or, here’s your snippet… “Shale producers risk drowning in their own surplus — again.
On Tuesday, oil slid into its first bear market in 10 months, falling 21 percent from its high for the year. The swoon dragged down driller shares amid concern that unceasing production from U.S. shale fields is overwhelming OPEC efforts to ease a global supply glut.
Explorers who came of age at a time when ever-increasing production was rewarded with ever-higher prices are now having a bit of a déjà vu from their fall from grace in 2014.
The S&P 500 Energy Index has lost 14 percent this year, while West Texas Intermediate crude, the U.S. benchmark, has fallen 19 percent. Buoyed by prices that hit $ 54.45 a barrel in February, U.S. explorers have boosted the number of rigs drilling for oil to the highest since mid-2015, and expanded their production to 9.33 million barrels a day. “A lot of faith and hope and belief was put into” the deal by OPEC, Russia and other exporters to cut their production as a way to balance the market, said John Kilduff, a partner at Again Capital LLC, a New York-based hedge fund. But “it’s proven ineffectual.”
Chuck again…  ramp up production, have a glut in supplies and watch the price tumble, then shut down production, and watch the price recover, then rinse and repeat the whole shebang over again… When will these guys ever learn?
Currencies today 6/21/17… American Style: A$ .7570, kiwi .7241, C$ .7520, euro 1.1148, sterling 1.2626, Swiss $ .9743, … European Style: rand 13.0269, krone 8.5434, SEK 8.7737, HUF 277.35, zloty 3.8042, koruna 23.5715, RUB 59.69, yen 111.15, sing 1.3898, HKD 7.80, INR 64.58, China 6.8272, peso 3.3274, peso 18.27, Dollar Index 97.66, Oil $ 43.34, 10-year 2.16%, Silver $ 16.45, Platinum $ 922.65, Palladium $ 873.91, and Gold $ 1,247.60
That’s it for today… Had a great night last night, as a few of my buddies stopped by to watch the baseball game with me outside, since it was such a beautiful night… And it ended up with a Cardinals extra inning win, so all-in-all a good night… I got the word yesterday, that the subscriber list is ready, which means it won’t be too much longer before I can get back to sending out the daily letter by email! YAHOO! But, I do like the set up with the website so far… But the emailed letter can reach so many more, that don’t want to have to bookmark a website and them remember to visit it each day! Boy, we sure have become spoiled haven’t we?  HA!  Elvis Presley takes us to the finish line today, and yes, I said Elvis! with his song: Can’t Help Falling In Love… Come on admit it, you slow danced with an old flame to this song at sometime!  And with that, it’s time to tell you that I hope you have a Wonderful Wednesday!  And don’t forget to be Good To Yourself!
