Lads, today I won against a sweaty incel on a robo porn forum.

It was devestating as well as glorious. A victory hard earned and well won indeed.

It starts off with me expanding my already extensive knowledge on robo-porn on a niche forum on a hidden corner on the internet.

After a few happy weeks on the forum, along comes a sweaty incel who claims my knowledge on robo-porn is inferior in comparison to his and that there's no way I could possibly triumph against a spar of knowledge against him since my profile says that I'm a woman and that women can't possibly be into robo-porn and that my interest in it is all faked.

So I do the logical thing and ignore him.

But then he comments on EVERY. SINGLE. POST. That I've made in a span of a week.

Now, I am a rather active participant on this forum despite being relatively fresh faced to the scene.

However he slanders me by trying to find inconsistencies in my plot summaries, claiming that I've never watched said porno. (Lies, all lies I've binged each and every last one of them)

So I craft an ingenious plan to discredit him.

First I make a fake poster for a non existent porno from the 70s which is supposedly a pioneer in the robo-porn field.

Then, post a non existent plot summary alongside it.

Sure enough, the dude sees the post after an hour and claims that I haven't watched it thoroughly and that my plot summary is full of loopholes and that he knows that because he actually OWNS a copy of said movie.

Gotcha.

This is where I pull the rug underneath his feet and reveal my trickery alongside the fact that he has fallen victim to my plot to make him look like a complete buffoon that he is.

Since then he seems to have deactivated his account.

Victory is ever so sweet.

Just wanted to come out and say that my blog is not limited to certain age groups. I understand that a lot of what I share and post may not be appropriate for some, so I'm just setting a boundary that if you are underage and wanting to send a message or comment on something that could be inappropriate for your age group, let's not discuss those topics for both our sakes.

I want to be a safe space for all ages, races, sexualities, etc., and shunning people completely away from me is not the way I want to do it (I have blocked people for toxicity though). I was your age once reading things I probably shouldn't have at that age, but it was accessible and I hold no judgement for reading it. It's out there and no amount of "minors DNI" can stop that. I'm a firm believer that if you are willing to post inappropriate content online, you need to be aware that it is public and will be available for everyone. If you don't want that, I recommend not posting it or putting it behind a paywall.

I hope I can continue to be a place people feel comfortable to be themselves and not judged. I'm growing and learning every day how to love better.

Yesterday, I went to Baltimore with the intention of visiting a friend in hospice. Her health had taken a sharp nosedive over the weekend, and on Monday evening, the doctors said she maybe had a week left.

What actually happened was I went to Baltimore to help clean out her stuff, because she died at 8:44 on Tuesday morning and my plane didn't land until 8:50. So me and another friend helped another friend/her roommate (before hospice) find important documents, as well as save sentimental items for her actual loved ones because her family, well.

Her friends were her family. But because she died intestate, the people in her family of choice were entitled to nothing under the law. Instead of her beloved, disabled partner, her estranged family has legal rights to her savings bonds and the rest of her estate. (Sometimes common-law partners can inherit but they weren't together long enough to meet that criterion.)

I knew this was coming for a long time. You don't recover from the brain cancer she had. But it still really hurts. And knowing that people she hadn't spoken to in years are getting that money instead of the person she loved most... well, that hurts too.

Please, if you don't have one already, make a will. It's not hard. We don't like to think about it, because nobody likes thinking about post-death legal matters, but you need to make a will. If you're in the US, you can use websites like Free Will. You don't need an estate attorney or anything like that. In many states, a notarized letter is fine. I don't know enough about international estate law to say anything in that regard, but take half an hour to google estate laws in your jurisdiction and put together a will.

If something happened to you tomorrow, who do you want taking care of your pets? Do you have a collection of anything that you want looked after? Do you want your money to go to a person, a charity, or something else specific? If you don't have kids, everything reverts to a spouse. If you don't have a spouse, it goes to your parents. I know I don't want to burden my parents with figuring out what to do with my tegu, my skeletal collection, or my library. But if I died tomorrow, my will would take care of all of that. Thinking about mortality isn't fun, but dying intestate is worse. Make a will.

When Dan and Ellie decided to change the titles from "cousin" and "acquaintance from another reality" to "father," Danny could honestly say he panicked. He wasn't a teenager anymore but he wasn't sure if he wanted kids; well, it's not like he had much of a choice.

Maybe it was a ghost thing but the moment Dan and Ellie (kids, his kids) said those words, something inside his core froze, in a good way, it was a comfortable, comforting cold, like a Christmas morning.

The problem was that while the situation made him extremely happy, Danny didn't know how to be a father, and the Fentons were horrible references. So he made the most logical leap: online forums.

He found himself chatting with an online user named KNight quite frequently, he seemed to have also been thrown into early parenthood a couple of years ago and was still struggling with it, but overall he had a couple of good tips.

KNight soon transitioned to Bather and then just Bruce, every time Danny talked to him it felt like they were a couple of little old ladies gossiping. Between the random chatter and the parenting advice he was actually having fun.

So, when Bruce invited him over to his house two years later to officially meet, Danny naturally panicked. Dan and Ellie were laughing at him in the background, the little shits.
