Didn't finish nearly as much art as I "wanted" to during past few months, but have to remind myself that most of my drawing time was dedicated toward larger projects either way, so still accomplished something lol

theatre is over for the school year. i know it’s not that long until next show, but i’m still sad. all the work we put into the winter and spring shows, all the seniors leaving our family to go on to bigger and better things, the director who got fired mid show, and everybody who contributed to our community. i am in many dnd campaigns with theatre people over the summer, and one of the seniors is directing a show, so i won’t be alone. still, i will miss everybody. (probably no one i know irl will read this, but whatever)

one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

I’m an actor and was just in a production of Twelfth Night. I have this habit of giving each of my roles a song that gets me into character, so now Sir Toby Belch loves Def Leppard’s Pour Some Sugar on Me and no one can change my mind.

really love dynamics that are like 'it honestly doesn't matter if you view them as romantic or platonic, the point is that they love each other. the type of love is inconsequential, all that matters is that it's there'. gotta be one of my favorite genders.
