I had a really busy but fun weekend, last weekend and I got to meet “The Chosen One” himself Hayden Christensen. He could not have been a nicer guy. The con had over 100k people and he was the guest that sold the most pics/autographs. The con also ended at 7pm and he stayed until 9:45pm to make sure everyone got to meet him and he even bought the staff pizza. That was by far the biggest con I have ever been too. He was letting people pose in “sith chokes” and prom style pics if they wanted and I took that time to tell him he was my hero and that the story of Anakin Skywalker and his redemption got me through the worst year of my life and saved me when I thought I couldn’t go on living anymore. He gave me a big hug and said “I am so happy you are doing better now.”
The man is such a class act. They say never meet your heroes but in This case he was more than I ever could have dreamed.

[READ] Rest In peace Tyre Sampson. I mean no disrespect by posting this it’s solely to inform people
Tyre Sampson fell off of a 400 foot tall ride in Orlando, Florida. Like I always say do not participate in anything with the possibility of you getting hurt or that’s risky on a 7 or a 9 day
The day this happened was on March 24th. March is the 3rd month so 3+2+4=9. He passed on a 9 day which is the number of completion/endings in Numerology
I’m only posting this because I want people to know Numerology is very real and to stay safe
You need to check all 3 numbers in the date to stay safe. Also avoid 7 because it’s the number of injuries and 11

We had a march through Orlando yesterday, still demanding a ceasefire and freedom for Palestine. We’re gonna keep marching.
Keep protesting, calling, emailing, signing, and sharing. Don’t stop.
HERE’S the organizers’ insta so you can hear the speeches that were given, look at their resources, and sign their petition to demand ceasefire (if you live in Orlando).
Thanks!

Spent a few days in Orlando (including a trip to Disney World). Didn't snap any Disney food photos, but I am happy to report that nearly every restaurant has at least 3-4 gluten free options. one place I had gf chicken tenders and another I had a very good pepperoni pizza. The smaller snack stands aren't as gluten free friendly but it's really not much of an inconvenience because food options are everywhere and bringing your own snacks is allowed.
This place was not in Disney; (but is in Orlando) it's called Sofrito's Latin and it has arepas and empanadas, both gf. I'm very fond of arepas but I haven't had them in several years because there's no places in my area that make them. The empanadas were so good! The filing was similar to ropa veija (shredded beef with veggies) and had a tasty dipping sauce.

Some highlights of Henry Winkler’s weekend at Orlando’s MegaCon last month.
Experiences included photos with and without the cast of Scream, chatting at his booth, a fan q & a, and personalized autographs.
Tumblr media
In case you didn’t know, Henry didn’t randomly photobomb the Scream cast photoshoot.
Tumblr media
He was in the original Scream (1996) (and only 2 years before So Weird started!) as Principal Himbry.

U know what makes me kinda sad. I’m in Orlando florida rn and literally food is cheaper here than in my small town in WV…
Like I was looking at a bag of chips and it was like 1.89 and back home it’s like 3.00.. it’s probably due to importing and what not but…it seems so unfair.
But at the same time like, the huge Asian market I went to was VERY cheap and not outrageous and I was so happy to see how accessible everything is.

🐗🐆 My parents and I are just now in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We flew out of Nashville and had a five hour layover in Orlando. To pass the time, I did some sketching in a sketchbook I brought with me. My sketchbook drawings, for now, consist of pencil and Sharpie drawings of Bagheera from “The Jungle Book” and Pumbaa from “The Lion King”. More will follow in my free time for more drawings.

Okay, the month is almost over, and I think I should probably drop the bomb about something I've been meaning to tell you for a while now: my family and I are going back to Orlando again. XD There's an interesting story behind this.
My mom has the first two weeks of September off before she starts her new travel nursing contract. Part of her wanted to spend some of that time going out and doing something, so she thought of different places to go, like Maine, for example. While browsing on Expedia, she stumbled upon a travel package where a hotel, booked airport flights, and a rental car bundled together cost about $1,200. Intrigued by this, she checked it out and discovered that Orlando was a good option to use it. This officially had her mind made up and she surprised me and my brothers with it earlier this month. Needless to say, we were genuinely surprised by it because we typically go there once every some odd years, not twice in the same year. Plus, with the summer weather here having been mainly rain for a good chunk of the season and a couple of weeks—including this coming week—having high temperatures in the 70s, Mom wanted a good excuse to get some sunshine while she could.
Unlike the Orlando vacation we went on earlier this year, this one will be a bit more lowkey as it will be only the four of us this time around. It also will be roughly half as long too; we're leaving on the night of 9/3 and returning home on the night of 9/9.
I'm particularly excited for this trip for two reasons:
This vacation will mean we have gone to Orlando during a big Disney anniversary celebration twice in one year. Similar to how the February vacation took place during the last few months of Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary, we will be going during the Disney 100th celebration. Stuff for it were already being put on the shelves when we last went, so I'm certain they will still be there in the midst of all the Halloween merch.
Speaking of which, we also happen to be going during Walt Disney World and Universal Studios' annual Halloween festivities. 🎃 In fact, we're going to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Labor Day! I've always wanted to go to a holiday event at one of the theme parks and I'm so glad this will be my first time doing so! Mom and I agreed on doing the Halloween party because it was a better event to do as a family than Universal's Halloween Horror Nights; she did that a couple of times herself and said it was scary. Still, you know I'm gonna be mesmerized by all the Halloween decorations and merch I come across.
