my succulents all flowered this year. the graptopetalums are still flowering in fact! it's too bad they all flower at different times; what a show it'd be if they did all at once.
the loveliest was the very small sedum rupestre that was almost killed by a hailstorm + snail feast combo last winter... he had beautiful intense reddish pink flowers. i had just a little twig of him still alive after the snail incident and now i have two small pots. i'm trying to nurse him back to health because the variegated leaves are so pretty in part shade and i honestly just want them in every available planter after seeing the flowers. i had no idea sedum could be so showy because my nussbauers don't do much other than be fat and cheerful.
the orostachys inflorescence was weird as hell. very strange little plant

This is the intro post
About me:
Shitty father of 90ish
Yes I do have a favorite son and he's dying
Yes I did buy a replacement
I have had succulents for: 3 months 👍
I am in fact addicted
I do NOT have a quarantine for new plants (no space)
As a beginner I freak out at everything
I don't have proper cutting shears, just an old pair of scissors from high school
My sins:
Had no grow light for a month leading to horrible etoliation in my first 20 plants
Put my jade in regular potting soil
Didn't mix inorganic grit into soil for potting for the first few weeks
Watered an overwatered plant, causing it to literally explode when I touched it
Bought 2 plants with spidermites and had them right next to old plants
Doused plants in isopropyl alcohol afterwards (did not get rid of the mites but didn't let them spread?)
Mistaked isopropyl alcohol stains as damage and wiped the farina off of one of my pvns
Sprayed straight 91% isopropyl alcohol on my plants after seeing mealybugs on 3. So many leaves were burnt
Did not rinse the alcohol off.
Mistaked the isopropyl alcohol burns as mealybug damage and sprayed again.
Still didn't rinse it off.
Mistaked the added burns as signs mealybugs were still there and shittily cut off the crowns and threw them away
Did not replace soil after dousing plants in isopropyl alcohol
Did not quarantine plants, causing mealybugs to show up on some of my props
Watered cuttings with no roots
Expected plants to be fine in 101°+ weather

Asante Sana. It's got such broad leaves and thick farina AUAUUAGH.
Atlantis: I have 2 and they're soooo pretty, I love the farina!
Bijou. It looks so frosty hehe
Black Bird. Being very careful with this one because it's so big and I love the light tips.
Black Marvel. It's very very red
Black Cat. My replacement for my beloved Loki.
Black Colorata. Bought bc I wanted free shipping, I didn't expect to love it so much!
Black Pearl. Double headed beauty
Black Racoon. It's just so shaped I just love the shape so much

Black Zaragoza. Not sure if he's growing a flower or not... BUT NOW THERES 2!!
Blue Minima. It's a big cluster and it's so cute.
Blue Bird. Oh how I've waited for getting a nice one and finally!!
Blue Dragon. It just looks juicy somehow?
Cherry Blossom Ending. I just love these types.
Chocolate Mint. Dusty and thirsty, gosh I hope I don't kill this one
Chihuahuensis 'Momotarou'. Doesn't look a thing like the chihuahuensis I had that died... SUSPICIOUS for the first seller
Christmas. The one I thought was a tippy, it's an OG for me.
Cupsidata var. Zaragozae. I loooove these so much, I have 2!
Echo. Hopefully I get more red splotches like the picture ):
Fly to the Sky. I love the leaves hehehe
Fox Tail. Main head looks super weird but the pup has slightly less weird leaves?
Ice Rose. Absolutely a beauty.
German Champagne x Laui. Plump little guy
Gothika. I have 3 and I wish i had MORE.
Holy Gate. I was so scared because it got destroyed in shipping, but she's alive with an offshoot!!
Indigo. It's so small and has so many heads eee
Japanese Mulberry. Had mealies but maybe ive solved this?
Laui. Oh I love it so much

Koh I Noor. Expensive for me but that thick powdery farina is worth it.
Lemon Lime. Bane of my existence, sprite the idiot with mealybugs
Lola. This one is going outside the damage I did was horrible
Longissima Hybrid. The leaves are so waxy and cool
Mexensis Zaragosa. I might have burned it a little
Minima Variagated. It's soo pretty!!
Monroe. Oh what a plump beauty

Star Snow. What a beautiful mistake. I didn't order it and yet I got it
Strictifloria v Nova. This was a gamble from a sus shop. It looks like it doesn't even know what light is
Echeveria Tinkerbell. I finally found out what it was from someone else's sale listing,,,
Trumso x Laui. I just love the thick farina
Tippy. So pretty and the farina is so nice hehehe.
Viyant. Pudgy and stubby! Love it!
White Elegans. It came in a cluster and a ton fell off. I have 5 props from it now
White Elegans x Monroe. Easily my tiniest plant. Smaller than my props even, it's adorable
White Lotus. A stunner for sure. Doesn't like having it's own leaves though
White Peach Blossom. I accidentally split it so now it's 2!
Yellow Fin. The colors are so vibrant and she's so teensy!
Zaragoza. Yeah I love Zaragozas a lot.
Crassula
Ovata Jade. My mom gave this to me because it has powdery mildew. It still might I can't tell but the treatments worked well?
Exilis subsp. Cooperi "Tiger Jade". Wimpy and leggy!
Fantasy variagated. It's Pastel and cute!
Perforata. It had spider mites so I threw it outside. It's prospering with the main pest of rolly pollies eating the leaves I guess??
Perforata Variegata. I'd say it's perfect but as time goes on I wonder if it was chemically forced to look that way..
Red pagoda? I have 2 of these and frankly nothing looks like them from what I can find. At some point I just settled on this
Shark tooth. Came very limp. Hoping we grow out of the sadness
Tabularis Pagoda Village. PATHETIC! WIMPY! LIMP!
Tom Thumb. My best Crassula because it's not stupid
Graptopetalum
Amethystinum. Honestly a wonderful guy doing his best being chubby
Paraguayense Ghost. My light won't stress it pinker than yellow... But now I've got 2!!
Pachyphyllum Bluebean. Had a full recovery from overwatering. Looks pathetic tho
Ellen. Not sure how to feel.
Rusbyi. So pretty..
Superbum. Oh gosh it's big...

Darley Sunshine. Also burnt to hell but still alive, I have 6 props of this etoliated and burnt disaster

Opalina. Came with a variagated baby!! So cute
Tibituans Variagated. I have a cutting because one of the heads fell off. That head apparently had mealybugs and now it's got weird ass leaves

Athena. Has sunburn but it's going away. Just like the bottom leaves (:
Attenuata. MY BELOVED BIG Q. Named after Quackity, this was technically my first ever plant. The first time... Back when the internet said put ice cubes on your succulents. It died but I have a new one!
Fasciata Big Band. Huge and has solid stripes.
Fasciata Cape Town. Hoo all the little spots
Obtusa. Said it would be pink. It's obviously orange.
Kalanchoe
Little Dragon. Has a mysterious white substance that isn't farina on it. Is it mildew? Idk it doesn't look like it. We'll see what happens
Tomentosa Teddy Bear. So soft so soft

Sedum
Bubbles. Resuscitated from near death.
Yeonji. Has black spots all over old leaves. Not sure what it is
Adolphii Firestorm. Only after sunstressing did I know what this was
Morganianum Burrito. So fresh and beautiful hehehe

Desert Rose. His purple magesty wasnt happy till he was outside. Thriving somehow
Lotus Blossom. The props have rooted and grown, we are back in business 😎

Haworthioides. Just an emo, forgot this guy was an Aloe technically

Purple Haze. Bought bc haha weed. But honestly this one is pretty
White fox. I have low hope that it won't die considering it's acting funny

Blue Elf. It's so pretty, didn't come w much dirt tho
Lilac mist. It's really resisting stress tbh.

Stapeliiformis. It's a pickle plant. What more can I say I'm in love
Apricot variagated. This was from the same sketchy shop, yet its massive and beautiful??
Oviferum Lavender Pebbles. Oh so pretty and healthy and now I have 2

I got them all potted today. Some of these had way bigger roots than I expected. Having to transfer the Watch Chain Crassula to a 3in pot honestly made me kinda proud.
