So, I did not find this myself, I'd like to thank @toonycryptid for posting this a while back, otherwise I wouldn't have wonderful piece of history!!
(If any of you have some information on anything to do with Otto Messmer, I'd love to be DM'ed, I'm a huge sucker of any remnants you can find of my biggest idol!)
Anyhow, I suspect Mr. Disney was referring to the Mickey or most likely his team using the context clues given, but I may be making sense of this wrong- It is true that Mr. Disney and Messmer were long distance friends, but I'm sure many of you are aware of that by now- It seems they might have been talking about Walt's film The African Lion?
I'm researching 715 fifth Avenue and I can't seem to find it in google maps oddly enough it misleads you by placing you a several buildings back. I can drive to there to see it myself, after all it'll only take 2 hours at best, but I'm not sure if it even exists anymore! I wonder if they'll let you in-
There's lots of questions I want answers to! Anyhow, just an unscripted rant, I'll see if I can get updates on the matter- Felix out!

PD take on Felix.
Colouring is present, and I've made him a bit more ruffled up to reflect the older cartoons' concept of a curious (yet clever) cat trying to survive in a world out of his control.
