Ichijou Karen wa Yuukwakusuru & Ougo Mitsunaga wa Namagoroshi ga Tsurai review!

Since these two mangas are sequels and short, I decided to just do it in one post. Starting with the first one with Karen's POV, it was so funny and I honestly like her personality oddly enough. I usually don't like when a character is super overbearing but Karen wasn't annoying to me. She's super pretty and every guy literally bows down to her but she's humble(?) and so loyal to Mitsunaga. I give her props for that cause Mitsunaga didn't show any mutual liking to her until way later but he did clearly like her too he just showed it in a different way. We saw more of the side characters in this one, and I actually liked every character including the side characters, they're all hilarious.

Moving to the sequel with Mitsunaga's POV, we're shown that he has been holding back from Karen since middle school, when he hit puberty. He basically wanted to cherish her because he loves her so much. I feel like you could argue that he loves her more but Karen is so over the top when it comes to Mitsunaga lol. When he was telling the girl who confessed to him about Karen, my heart exploded. Also, their hugging and kissing scenes were good, the author did a good job of drawing it more naturally (hand placing, eye contact, etc).

They're both (cannonically) really hot too LOL so no surprise he and Karen get confessed to often. This scene below caught me off guard because Mitsunaga looks intimidating so he can ward off other guys.

Honestly, wouldn't mind if either manga had more chapters. I'd read the heck out of it. I definitely like Mitsunaga's manga more just cause they're in college and show more intimacy, you get more of a mature feeling in this one for sure.
