So I absolutely hate the Buddy daddies logo cos it's boring and it's not good for art so I made this new logo! Yeah its basic but it's better than just the title name or BD

Why did i need a better logo for art? Because I made this cross stitch art because I needed to make some kind of fan art but nothing jumped out at me that I could make so I made something completely mine. The cross stitch took me 7ish hours total and I explain below but it shouldn't have taken me that long, I just couldn't count yesterday

I didn't take pictures of before I did the black outline because it took me way longer than usual because of all the gaps. I did 14 red stitches first, making it half way over the square so that I knew where to start the black from. I did all the black outline then i finished the red with an additional 13 stitches. I cut the shape off the sheet then I could add the blue box by doing the inner outline then looped around the edges. if that makes sense, hopefully it does with the visual aid. The sheet that i cut each of my keychains and wall art off is an A4 sheet of plastic with holes in it, they come in 10 packs and are very affordable if y'all are looking into making something like this.

When my string runs out, I don't knot it off, i just stitch it into the work by going over the top of it. The stitch lays hidden under the new work so that the overall project can be as flat as possible. If you look at the top of the black stitch work, it's unfortunately quite thick because it's very messy up there but that's okay because of the last step, projects like this have to lift off the wall a bit anyway but if you have a lot of knots, it gets unbalanced and messy.

This is the back of the work. I probe myself in how neat I make them even though you won't see it because it's actually a side effect of using as little string as I can.

This is a bit weird but has to be done with what I have. So these are magnets, technically one magnet that i cut into 11 pieces but still. I only use these on my personal projects as i brought magnet tape just after using these the first time because I have to use my (93% natural) glue stick to glue scrap yarn onto the front of the magnet so that the super glue will work and have something to stick to that's attached to the magnets.

5-7 drops of super glue each magnet later and the work is complete and ready to either go on your fridge or on your wall if you just add tac to the magnets. I chose magnets because you have the option but also its washable and that was important to be for it to be.

I don't have a picture of this one on my fridge or wall but i have the much larger Fairy Tail one, the good old test subject first person project. The Buddy daddies logo art is about 1/4 of the size, tiny bit smaller. The Fairy Tail one took 2 streets of the A4 plastic back and is 4 squares sewn together with crosses. I haven't talked about it on main but I do have a few progress shots of it, mostly of the pink and dark blue cos the dark blue was my first and pink was my last lol anyway ✌🏻

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin Game Gets TV Anime by P.A. Works in 2024

A website and X (formerly Twitter) account opened on Saturday to announce that a television anime adaptation of developer Edelweiss' side-scrolling action role-playing game Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin (Tensui no Sakuna Hime) has been green-lit. P.A. Works is animating the production for a premiere later this year on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.

Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin launched for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in November 2020. XSEED Games released the game in English, and it describes the story:

Players take on the role of Sakuna, a proud yet lonely harvest goddess who is banished to a dangerous island with a group of outcast humans. Sakuna tames the island by defeating demons using farm tools as weapons while chaining attacks with her “celestial scarf,” a magical item that allows her to grapple distant enemies and platforms.

Jiji & Pinch launched the Tensui no Sakuna Hime: Ikusa Datara no Kamigami manga adaptation in November 2021 and ended it in November 2022. Marvelous supervised the manga.

REVIEW | "Buddy Daddies" | B3 - Boston Bastard Brigade

You would absolutely be forgiven if you thought Buddy Daddies was just the My Two Dads route of Spy × Family. After all, when something becomes a major hit, there’s bound to be a plethora of imitators closely following behind. Thankfully, the new anime from Aniplex, P.A. Works (Uma Musume, Akiba Maid War) and Nitroplus (the Fateseries) does plenty different from what we’ve seen the Forgers do. On top of that, Buddy Daddies also gives us something the other show hasn’t yet: a complete narrative.

The Buddy Daddies in question refer to two assassin partners. Kazuki (Toshiyuki Toyonaga) is the ladies’ man, who’s good with a frying pan as he is a gun. Rei (Koki Uchiyama) is the socially acute one, who spends his days playing video games when not racking up a body count. Yet despite their differences, they manage to do great work together, even if Rei could maybe once in awhile get his butt of the couch and help in the kitchen.

However, these two wind up becoming unlikely father figures to a four-year-old girl named Miri (Hina Kino), after they wind up assassinating her father during a mission. But Miri had no idea that the target was her dad, with a Santa-suited Kazuki declaring that he’s her father when the girl asks where her papa is. Now feeling responsible for the situation, Kazuki and Rei do their best to give a good life to Miri, which includes enrolling her to school and going on daddy/daddy/daughter trips. As for Miri’s mother Misaki (Nanako Mori), well, it’s a complicated situation.

For the most part, Buddy Daddies focuses on the more entertaining side of being assassin parents. On top of taking missions from café operator Kyūtarō (Toshiyuki Morikawa) and completing them with some minor injuries, Kazuki and Rei earn a new lease on life as unexpected father figures to a wild and happy-go-lucky daughter. Miri’s off-the-wall personality is the polar opposite of Anya Forger, the latter of whom knows everything about her father’s mission. This girl is clueless regarding her new dads’ jobs, on top of the level of danger that she’s put in constantly.
