Welcome! This is a pan-fandom project to raise as much as possible for Palestine. The project is simple: fans bid on fanartists and fanwriters work and the money will be given to charities for Palestine.

The charity chosen for the fundraiser is The Palestine Children's Relief Fund. From the PCRF website: "Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), founded in 1991 by concerned humanitarians in the USA, provides free medical care to thousands of injured and ill children yearly who lack local access to care within the local health care system."

Our goal at Fandoms for Palestine is to donate as much money to the PCRF charity to help the Palestinian population and the Palestinian children.

The application for artists will open on the 28/04/2024. Artists will propose to make fanworks for fandoms. Fanworks propose can be fanart, fanvideos, gifs, fanart, and other types of fanwork that don't require shipping (we cannot ship anything unfortunately).

The application for bidders will open on the 28/05/2024. Bidders donate to the PCRF charity in return for fanwork (the donation is done after a fanartist agrees to make fanwork for you).

ARTISTS FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸 - On the 6th and 9th of March, I'll be doing art requests on stream with other notable artists to raise money for Operation Olive Branch and the PCRF.

I'm incredibly lucky to be counting quite a few big names in the roster, including known Jesus and Odysseus enthusiast @wolfythewitch, the extraordinary fanartist @denimcatfish, and the incredibly talented @troubledminnesotan, as well as Lilypichu from OfflineTV.

I'm going to be honest, I hadn't donated to any palestinian charities (other than raising money through clubs) because I thought that I couldn't , and if I could donate, it would be such a small amount. I just donated $5 to the PCRF after seeing a post saying that any donation counts. Thinking that you can't help and your donation is too small to matter is what causes hundreds of thousands of people from not donating. It makes a difference then.

If you are able to donate, even if it is a small amount, I highly recommend you do so. Also, there are many ways you can have your donation matched. This basically means that someone will donate the same amount that you did to double the impact. So you might donate $5, but then have someone match it, so your donation is now $10.

Don't be afraid to donate.

• Painted with acrylic on stretched canvas over wood triangle frames.

• Each of the three canvasses are 26 cm tall, 30 cm wide, 3.5 cm thick. (10 1/4 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and about 1 1/2 inches thick)

If you live comfortably without any substantial risk financially, then it becomes your responsibility to contribute more. Please don't hesitate to donate. You do not lose wealth when you give to people who need it. That 10 dollars or 5 dollars or 1 dollar is worth so so much if it is the only thing you can give.

The daily clicks is meant for people who do not have any way to financially help Palestine. If you cannot send money for any reason at all, please go ahead and do those daily clicks. Use multiple devices, different browsers, incognito/ private mode. So you can contribute more clicks in a day. Set reminders so you can be consistent. Even if it is small, if everyone contributing does the same effort, it will be more helpful than nothing at all.

And do not let daily clicks and donations be the end all of your support for Palestine. There are so many ways to engage and get involved, and this post is a non-exhaustive list. Boycott products and keep up with the BDS movement, join protests and direct action, pressure your representatives by calls/ emails /letters, listen and amplify Palestinian voices (follow social media accounts of journalists, doctors, scholars, people in Gaza and diaspora), learn and familiarize about Palestine and disinformation (free ebooks), make art, appreciate Palestinian culture and art (tatreez, kufiya, films / another film site, books, poetry, businesses), talk and discuss with your close ones and community, don't interact with Israel supporters / Zionist ideology, and stay hopeful. Every effort within your power that you choose to do is important.
