Please tell me pommes admin hasn't actually been fired and has only been removed from whitelist for the meantime while quackity sorts out his server. She has contributed so much to just get straight up fired by talking to ccs (Antoine and Pierre) in dms along with Lea. To my knowledge Tallulahs admin and Chayannes admin dms Philza all the time and this is all because Lea has picked up on things that has started to go wrong in the server and Pommes admin just so happened to be in the dms too.

If she's actually gone for good im dropping qsmp because this is ridiculous. I know Lea (DanSir's admin + other French characters) isn't coming back on their own record but Pomme shouldn't be fired for doing something that is right for the server.

Here's my primary headcanon on how singleplayer worlds work in MC/MCYT fics (that don't specifically refute it) that make use of the "minecraft multiverse" idea.

First and foremost: a singleplayer world is singleplayer. They are not capable of supporting multiple people for any length of time. In very rare circumstances someone may be able to enter, but they are often restricted to a small area, and the longer they stay, the more strain their presence puts on the world before it forcibly ejects them, or worst case scenario, crumbles completely.

Singleplayer worlds can function similarly to how "The Hub" does in many fics, but on a much smaller scale; From their singleplayer world, an individual can access any other world they are whitelisted on, invited to, or any public servers they've previously visited.

All worlds move in their relative position to other worlds, age and number of players affect how much they drift. Typically singleplayer worlds follow their player, growing closer to, or becoming a "pocket dimension" for, the multiplayer world that their player spends the most time on. The older the world is, the less it drifts or needs to drift to remain connected to its player. As worlds get older they tend to drift less, anchoring and being anchored by other worlds. Worlds also drift less the longer they are in one spot. Singleplayer worlds don't move while inhabited by their player, meaning that the more time spent in a singleplayer world the more "fixed" it's position becomes.

Your singleplayer world is connected to your soul, tenuously at first but more strongly the longer you spend in it and the more you build it up. Hardcore builds the connection quickest, and creative mode the slowest. Using this connection, it can be accessed from anywhere, and without a portal.

While someone, if trapped in another server, can be prevented from accessing their singleplayer world, the older, more built, the world (the stronger the player's connection to it, and the more fixed it's position) the less effective that will be. For example, in many fics the DSMP is a "locked world" that prevents anyone who enters from leaving.

Someone like Tommy, who has no singleplayer world, or Fundy, who is constantly creating new ones for testing, would be completely trapped; Unable to access any singleplayer world they have or to make any new ones.

Philza, who spends years in the same hardcore world, building in it, can access his singleplayer world but it is cut off within DSMP with him; he can't access other worlds from it while trapped there.

If someone like Etho, who has had the same world basically since minecraft started, were to end up on a "locked world" he would be more or less unaffected. Although unable to access the "main hub" that connects all players and worlds, he can still use his singleplayer as a backdoor, private, hub. His connection to it is too strong to be severed, and his world is too old to be moved.

IM BACK WITH MORE!

(WARNING! Please don't read unless you are okay with spoilers to Wilbur's recent stream. I will be talking about that so if you don't want spoilers, don't read.) A long time ago, I made a theory that Dreamsmp was all a dream. It was a stupid theory and I still stand to it that Dream theories are the worst. Especially when they are proven right.

Im so glad, that I was wrong and right at the same time. Cuz now I can say this with confidence… I KNOW WHY HALF OF THE CAST CAN’T REMEMBER ANYTHING! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you don’t know, it’s been strangely clear that more than half of the Dreamsmp cast can’t remember their past. I know it could be because they were lazy and didn’t want to get into it. But it really messed with me. The only people who we truly know the past of is Philza, Eryn, and now, Wilbur. And yes you can argue we know the background of Fundy since he was born there, and slime since we know the lore of how slimes are made. But even then they still have a lot missing with plot holes. Even the kids of other members don’t make sense. As if they aren’t really family but think they are.

So recently, before this stream was made, I came up with the idea of dimension backrooms. It was for dreamsmp but for a fic idea. An AU of sorts, The idea was that the Dreamsmp is like a prison. You can join but can’t leave. Sucking the memories from you, and the story plot was Drista saved everyone by going through their memories and slowly sending them back to their true world.

A cool AU until this stream… which now makes me think it's canon.

You see, with Wilbur being “teleported” back to Utah… This could mean the dreamsmp, is actually a dimension prison. Kind of like the backrooms. And with the whitelist, it could be that DreamXD is choosing random people to fall into his horror story. And Wilbur was the first person to ever escape it. (Unless we want to count Ranboo but he is for another theory day. I have a lot to unpack with that)

If this is the case, that Wilbur escaped the alt-reality. That leaves us with two questions. 1. How did Wilbur find out that it was an alt-reality when we can tell when you are there, you forget your past? And 2. Why didn’t he bring Tommy along?

Well, the answer for both could be closer than we think. For starters, Wilbur died and was dead for a long time. He learned during that time when the world was going to end. What if when there, he also learned some other stuff, like that the world is not truly his. That he is meant to be back in our world. It could explain why he is the only one who was able to escape.

But that still leaves the question of why he left Tommy. To which I answer that I only have some ideas of why. It could be that he can’t say or DreamXD will hear and stop their plans, it could be that Tommy can’t leave because he is what is keeping Dream trapped, or it could be Wilbur realizing Tommy is not from his dimension and if Tommy tries to leave too, he won't be with Wilbur, he will be back in his own world. Away from him. So he would rather have a chance to see Tommy again if he gets trapped again, Instead of losing the chance to see Tommy ever again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Either or, This lore opens so many more doors to so many answers we need for the lore. I have so many plans to talk about Ranboo and maybe being another who escaped before, and the idea that Ranboo tried saving Tubbo but couldn’t, there are just so many possibilities. And I will be here for all of them!

this is kind of similar to the shy wizard ask but also not really so hear me out-

reader is infamous on the server for being the original owner of the dsmp. rumor has it that reader was the person to construct the server and dream was the first person to be whitelisted and the two lived in harmony as co-owners of the server until dream wanted to branch out and whitelist even more people. reader, not being a social person was against the idea but struck a deal with dream. reader would give dream full control of the server but in exchange would have to give up his access to creative mode (thus causing the formation of Dream XD, reader’s immortal companion. i think in this sort of universe this is also the reason dream hates the formation of l’manburg so much, he gave up godhood for control of the server just to have people create a nation he had no control over). wanting to have uninterrupted power dream made reader promise not to kill/harm/ban dream from the server no matter what he did. reader agreed and thus the server was renamed the dream smp and people were constantly being whitelisted.

however, now reader is displeased by dream’s actions, and while they cannot interfere on dream’s end, there is nothing saying they cannot aid the others. so in true cryptic fashion they begin lurking around the server, spotted in shadows and reflections, just watching, searching for something the occupants of the server don’t know. reader begins by visiting tommy in exile, leaving care packages and a note with detailed instructions to get to technoblade’s house and how to hide things from dream. they sneak into the white house and complete some minor tasks so tubbo has less on his plate, just barely enough to make tubbo simply think he was more productive than he thought. they fill in some blanks in ranboo’s memory book, detailing positive memories he may have forgotten throughout the day, adding extra enchantments to his armor to protect him more from water. it becomes habit that even after doomsday (which they couldn’t prevent but we’re able to save and anonymously return some people’s valuables) reader still visits those struggling from trauma (especially bench trio) and leaves little gifts and notes of reassurance.

You were watching again. You don't know who this man was. He looked like your old fiend, that's for sure. Same hair, same mask. But this, this was not the Dream you knew. and You couldn't do anything to change it.

"Is there anything we can do?" You looked over at XD, who didn't answer. You sighed, watching Tubbo ban Tommy from the nation. You watched as Dream lead him, and the ghost, away from the populated parts of the server and into the nothingness beyond.

This went on for awhile. You helped out in the white house without Tubbo seeing you, trying to help out and make him realize that he did the wrong thing by banning Tommy, giving him more time to think about it.

You dropped off food for Tommy, and he was the first person to see you properly, not just in the shadows.

"Who are you?" You turned your head to look at the blond beside you, and then turned to look back out over the lake in front of you. He looked terrible. There was dirt, and bruises, and blood, and you felt guilty about not helping him sooner.

"Who knows? But I can help you stop Dream." He inhaled sharply, seemingly considering it for a moment, before shaking his head.

"But Dream is my friend!" He replied frantically, glancing around, like this was a trap of some sort.

"A long time ago, I made a promise. Dream wanted more people on the server, and so I handed it over if he revoked his creative mode. I had to promise not to remove him, no matter what. There's nothing I can do against him now, but I can help everyone else, Tommy. Do you want to see Techno again?"

And with that, you entered the fight. You gave Tommy supplies and directions to Technoblade, with hope that he'd help him after all the hurt he'd caused.

Slowly, you helped changed the tide of the war against Dream, simply by supporting everybody else. You helped Ranboo, though you knew he wouldn't remember. But he did wonder when his armour started to work better, or who's writing was in his memory journal.

You helped Tommy out more then most, but Dream seemed fixated on ruining him, so he needed it. You helped him when Techno sided with Dream. You sided with him when Doomsday happened. You helped return people's belongings when the nation burned down.

This was not how you wanted things to go. You wanted to finally stop Dream. So you watched, helping everyone out, and then you helped supply Tubbo and Tommy when they went after the discs, and then Sapnap and Punz when they planned the final battle.

"It's over, Dream! Give up!" You yelled from the portal. Everyone turned to look at you as you stalked through the crowd and towards your old friend.

"I thought you didn't like people?" The masked man mused as you stepped in front of Tommy and Tubbo. You shrugged, standing in front of him.

"I don't, but I hate what you're doing even more. I will give you one more chance, Dream. Put down the axe. Now." He shook his head, and you sighed.

"Then I have no choice. You are surrounded, by every single person on this server. Even your friends don't agree with what you're doing. All you have is George. Give up now, or I ban him. Permanently." You glared at him. He lowers the axe, eventually letting it drop with a clang.

You watched as Dream was taken to Pandora's vault. You watched as Tommy smiled again and as the server rebuilt itself. You smiled at XD, your companion, and went to drop off some sweets for people who needed them, once again in the shadows of the server.

You still talked to Tommy from time to time, promising that if he or anyone else needed help, you'd be there to do so.

I may have spent an entire 2 hours catching up on Don't let this break me on Tumblr, but hey I like re-reading some things:)

Quick question, if there Hermitcraft and Dream smp are two different servers, are there more out there? Like Evo was mentioned. Others came from SciCraft and Minecrack, and some Hermits do cross-play on others. Like the Life series and Empires smp. So how does all that work?

There are definitely other Servers in this universe. Some are open like Hypixel. And some are whitelisted like SciCraft.

Solo worlds exist too, like Ethos solo world, and Philza’s hardcore world.

Some servers in my timeline don’t exist yet, like the third life series hasn’t happened yet. And the Empires server exists but Pearl and Gem haven’t been able to log on.

Modded servers like VaultHunters are special as they are often more unstable because magic is involved. Watchers are typically Involved In moding and running servers like this. Even though the Developers in my universe have banned modding because it is unstable.

okay so about how important MCC is. MCC is important because it will most likely be the way Lunar finds the Krew. She probably can't remember most things except for basic survival and basic skills, and just some blurred memories of people she never knew. She knows she knew them though.. There are two ways for the portal scenario to play out. The crackish angstish but somewhat working version and angst version.

The crackish angst version is that, well, Lunar is a dimension hopper and just pops in in different worlds. And I'm saying worlds, not SMPs. She can just pop into Hermitcraft despite the whitelist thing, pop into Philza's old hardcore world, just going in different areas and the next MCC that happens, all people can talk about is that one dimension hopper who somehow joined their world. Lunar accidentally pops in and everyone's like, "THAT'S THEM!" and the Krew sees because they were in the MCC server, just on the bleachers, in the audience looking for Lunar and instead of the Lunar they know, their sibling. They see an amnesic who has a somewhat similar design to a time traveler they know. Lunar has no memories of them. Lunar has no memories of her. This was so certainly Lunar but also so clearly not at the same time.

The angst version is that Lunar joined Hermitcraft, or literally ANY place where she can both heal and hurt at the same time. It feels so familiar but she doesn't remember doing anything like this. She makes friends here. After a long, long time, she goes to see some of them at MCC. While waiting for the event to start, she sees four people, three of which seem to be against the fourth, arguing. She walks away. Then she sees a person with a green and purple swirl color scheme. He seemed sad but also hopeful. He was looking around, maybe for a specific someone, when their eyes lock, his eyes widening, then he shakes his head and seems disappointed. For some reason, this stranger along with the other four people she saw before, seemed so familiar, but she couldn't quite figure out how. Maybe this person can help her find out. She approaches and introduces herself. He seemed surprised but as she explained her situation and all, he seemed to express hope, sadness, and sympathy. He explained how he was in a similar situation but he hadn't gotten the portal nor the SMP travel thing. He does have the memory issues from mysterious powers from the gods. Their situation is so similar but also different at the same time. They soon become friends again. He asks to keep in touch, she agrees. His eyes widen as he realized he never introduced himself. His name is Karl. How strange. Karl seems so familiar but Lunar never met anyone named Karl before, right? ... right..?

Hold on, guys. Wait. There’s a traitor in Pogtopia, right? And it’s not Tommy, and he knows it’s not Tubbo. Techno’s already betrayed them, Eret’s barely in the war but he’s trying; Wilbur probably isn’t it (but my theories do stand). All of The things Niki does to actually stand up to Schlatt would surprise us, but that makes her entire arc useless; the others basically aren’t part of the war but they’re still there.

What if the traitor is us? Think about it: Dream starts streaming the same time that the war ends. He’s already prepped out, ready to fight, and he says, in the utmost confidence “welcome to Manberg, traitor”.

Because we’re, undoubtably, a traitor for everyone. Chat snitched when Tommy told Tubbo; they told Karl where exactly to find the button Wilbur hide. We’re snitches. That’s what Dream’s counting on. He wants us to betray them, wants us to tell them exactly where they are, and what they need to do. He wants us to betray Manberg for Pogtopia, and Pogtopia to Manberg.

There’s bound to be overlap, there’s bound to be information. And how shocking would it really be, that we’re over here arguing about who the traitor is, when they’re us?
