Bit of time with the pup today working on #placeboards I don’t use them all the time with the pup but I like them for patience and the stay and if I decide to use them with retrieving at a later date, they’re already introduced! All aboard! Salix has mastered climbing on top of the utility carts, which are uneven and unsteady. Placeboards like this are quite the challenge: not only they have to keep calm, but also learn to keep their balance and overcome the fear dogs have when you move their stable platform. Mastering this helped sharpening her obedience, but also boosted her confidence and allowed her to understand how to focus on her skills vs focus on the distractions. (at The Home Depot)
