One thing among many that I really hate about the PJ Hobbit trilogy is how it simplifies the cultures of both dwarves and elves and turns elves into these boring bland vegetarian prudes while dwarves are these loud obnoxious barfighting fratboys. Tolkien did such amazing work creating rich distinct cultures around each race, and the complicated way they interact and clash, and the rich history they share, and that got so dumbed down for a couple stereotypical "team dwarf vs team elf" jokes.

Besides my room I also did some plaster and paint work in my porch,kitchen,and bathroom. My house is pretty old and I dunno what they were thinking with the color scheme but the porch went from a forest green to a light tan, kitchen went from this weird green color to a light brown/darker beige, and the bathroom that was once pumpkin orange is now an off white as a base and will eventually be a light grey or a light blue still haven’t decided on the exact color yet.
