“ I was doing my thing yesterday, darting in and out of various doctors offices, so I didn't catch that much of yesterday's television coverage of the House Judiciary committee's impeachment hearings - but I caught enough. I caught Rep. Collins opening rant errrrrr statement running down the law professors (and the legal profession) who were about to testify, and I managed to catch Collins getting schooled by Pamela Karlan - an actual law professor. An amazing little bit of propaganda - how many people watching knew Collins has a law degree from John Marshall Law School, and has been the managing partner of his own law firm since 2010? Collins embarrassed himself carrying water for the Presiderp and his party on national television - but you wouldn't know it if your propaganda of choice is Fox ( "Impeachment witness snaps!" ) or Townhall ("Collins shreds Impeachment Inquiry Hearing for not having any fact witnesses! "). I also managed to catch a bit of Jonathan Turley at another office, and his statement that "this impeachment not only fails to satisfy the standard of past impeachments but would create a dangerous precendent". His three colleagues disagreed. As did Norm Eisen, who reminded Turley about an op-ed he wrote for the Wall Street Journal stating that the Ukraine scandal is totally worth investigating and that impeachment doesn't require a crime. Unless you get your propaganda from Fox (" If they impeach Trump 'It's your abuse of power!' ") or Townhall, which whined that Eisen barely let Turley defend himself. Side note : if you do decide to check out Townhall for yourself, be aware you will be asked for a donation to support "conservative journalism". You can't do enough air quotes to do that amount of irony justice. You can't. Don't even try. I sprained three fingers in the attempt. These people haven't just killed irony, they've tortured it to death, drawn and quartered the body, burned the remains and scattered the ashes to the four winds. Kudos to ABC News and the chyron labeling Turley as a "Republican" witness. I guess the money from the Right is worth throwing your reputation down the toilet. And the man they were busy defending, the guy who complained about not being able to defend himself and then DECLINING to defend himself, the Presiderp himself? He was over in Europe, embarrassing himself and the nation he represents, cancelling press conferences and getting made fun of by his fellow dignitaries. But, as alternative universe thinking as all this is, there are tens of millions of our fellow citizens who not only believe the propaganda, but will shamelessly parrot it at work today. You know it's effective when even the propagandists believe it. “

  Summary
Under the guidance of Crafty, Ruff and Reddy are rising in fame again and avoiding the major scandals with some minor bird-in-mouth action. Of course, Billy Kamell Live, The Midnight Show staring Joey Pantone and of course Fax News! Meanwhile, Pamela Chyron has risen to the top! She has become the President of ITN (the Interspecies Network), a broadcasting company!
While the two newly revived actors are making their way from show to show, their limo drive tells them Crafty wants them watching the news. They turn on DMZ and get the unpleasant reality of watching them both in the throws of videotaped passion with a redhead.
The paparazzi, gossip mags, and of course crafty loves it! Their ratings shoot through the roof! Soon after the old man croaks of a heart attack and both of the actors don’t care. When the host of the next show they are meeting at sees, he freaks out and tells them to get an ambulance. Both of them don’t even flinch, he’s 80 who could be shocked?
After the funeral they start working again and soon get letters from ITN calling them back. Ms. Chyron let’s them have it! As per their earlier contract, any dealings they have with other companies are void. Pamela takes it further, red eyed, when she orders a new show just for the duo. She orders it for five years and locks them into it.
Positives
Chaykin and Rey have finished of this mini-series in a great way! The art has maintained through the series and Rey’s illustrations of facial expressions, even in anthropomorphised faces, is excellent. The red, terminator style, eyes used with Pamela are a fantastic creative touch!
The ending of this cautionary tale was amazing. Watching Pamela take down her betrayers and lock them into a painful contract was perfect.
  Negatives
There are no negatives worth mentioning in this issue.
  Overall
The Ruff and Reddy Show #6 ties a nice bow on the series. We get to see what happens when we start to stab our allies in the back. This whole series had a great flow and knew exactly how to deliver the last lines in the script.
