prayers don't have to be perfect by the way.

I pray to the gods in the middle of my classes, my shifts at work, and in the shower.

I pray waiting at the bus stop.

I pray looking for something I lost.

I'm not always the best at consistently praying and leaving offerings at my altar. most of my worship is quick prayers on the go and devotional acts.

that's ok. I'm trying and the gods don't hate me or anything.

they don't hate you either. practice in a way that fits into your life and your needs. that's enough I think.

Random Wesker HC:

- He gets his nails done every two weeks, though most people don’t notice because he doesn’t like them colored. He just enjoys relaxing while he gets them done. (Jill was the one that told him a nice saloon nearby the station and he has been going there ever since)

- He follows a strict morning routine everyday, it’s just how he likes it.

- Does skincare everyday after work, I mean it. He has a hairband, one of those with like- cat ears and stuff.

- His wardrobe is very organized, color coded and everything.

- No shoes inside the house, he beat Chris up for walking in with dirty boots and made him clean it up.

- Is a wine aunt. I will not go further into it.

- He has a sunglass collection, after he found a pair that he enjoyed he just bought a bunch of them. Always keeps a spare pair in him just in case.

it’s hard out here as a desert enjoyer. yesterday my coworker asked my what I was using my vacation time for and this was the conversation.

her: I hate (place)

less positive post, but as a cult survivor, I need some of y'all in pagan spaces to start being a lot more careful with the things you believe and do.

you need to check to see if what people say is actually backed up by sources. you need to do your own research. you need to learn to recognize 'new age' ideas and practices and avoid them. you need to be aware of when you're being drawn into a very insular or high control group.

you are not exempt from cults. you're not exempt from being drawn into cult like beliefs and practices. I've spent a lot of time learning to recognize cults and deconstruct and even if you've never been in one, you need to learn too.

hey chronic illness besties. I thought I may have POTS because for a long time I would get really light headed, have my vision black out, and sometimes just straight up faint when I stood up, but I haven’t been doing that nearly as much. I only get dizzy occasionally and I haven’t blacked out in a long times Could there be a reason for this or was it just a weird thing I experienced?

cooking dinner while my partner continues to paint the living room and realizing that even though life has been really hard recently, I've always wanted this exact moment with someone, and I'm so glad I'm here to experience it. like, my desire to live has been.....wishy-washy at best, but I'm so glad I stuck around a little longer. It's a good reminder that it's not always the huge milestones you have to be here for - there are a million small moments of magic that are worth it, too. Maybe even moreso than the big things, because they can be anything or with anyone that means something to you.

anyways. if you're reading this, I love you, and I hope you have a moment of magic soon.
