I hope you meant romantic relationship, I always don’t know whether people mean platonic or not bahaha. Those three are so different, I liked writing them one after the other. I had a bit of a hard time writing what I meant for Chisato, but I really hope you still enjoy it!

Seta Kaoru

  Art exhibits dates! If you’re an artistic person, Kaoru seeks them out especially for you. You’ve developed a mini-game to enjoy the exhibition even more: guessing the name of the art! Sometimes you take it seriously, others… not so much. Either way, it makes it so you don’t only spend five minutes walking around, but rather enjoy the expositions and analyse each of them. It even inspires Kaoru for HHW’s next performance, so it’s a plus. I can see you joking about stealing some art for her, if you’re the kind to make those jokes.

  Kaoru takes anniversaries seriously, she likes to celebrate your first month together, or things like your first hug and stuff. If you ever gift her something, she’ll keep it in a treasure box, or I can see her tape the first flower you ever gifted her into the page of a journal. Though, it’s only something for the both of you. She’ll never display this kind of thing in front of anyone else.

For example, if she’s in the middle of preparing something special for you for your first year together, she’ll pretend the cake she has in her arms is for herself only. Even if it's another member of HHW who asked. It’ll take a while for her to let herself be vulnerable about your relationship in front of others.

  It doesn’t mean she doesn’t like to show you off to the entire world. Her Instagram is full of pictures of the two of you. Though, she makes it clear to her fans that they shouldn’t cross any boundaries. She doesn’t like to pretend she is single, and will make it clear while she still provides fanservice, it’s nothing more than that: fanservice. Furthermore, if you’re uncomfortable with her ‘flirting’ with her fans, she’ll immediately stop and make sure you know you’re her one and only.

  Some cute stuff I feel she would do but never mention out loud: buy a book of romantic poems, and cut the pages to give one to you every day with another little things like a flower or colourful buttons from her stage outfits. She’ll even perfume some of them before giving it to you. If you ever display it in your room, she’ll curl on herself and bump into you in some kind of hug (she gets very touched and feels immensely loved)

  At first, Aya has a hard time detaching from her idol persona in your presence. Even when you first get together, it’s like she’s even more relying on this fake image of her to interact with you. She’s scared of relying on you, of being vulnerable, because you could leave just like that, and that’s far from what she wants. She tones down her skinship, not wanting to appear clingy or dependent. Pastel Palettes don’t even know if you’re together or not. Those stages of your relationship can be hard to manage, but with enough communication and therapy, you go through it together.

  For dates, I can see you get some pâtisseries, like crêpes if you like them. Aya likes to rest her head on your shoulder, especially when you’re walking next to each other. She’ll sometime hold your pinkie as well.

  If you ever buy things together, she’ll make you hold all the bags. She likes having one in her right hand, but nothing more, or else it’ll cover the rest of her outfit. She likes to show it off and watch people’s reactions. Expect her to look for matching outfits as well, she knows what’s trending, so you’ll be in good hands. She especially likes the hat and shades combo, so be ready for that.

  It's cheesy and it doesn’t happen often, but Aya likes to serenade you. Maybe while you’re on a balcony, enjoying the soft air of the night, as she threads her fingers through your hair, or while she caresses your arm. She’ll press her head against yours and smile until she gets embarrassed. Later down your relationship, it would probably be how she’ll propose to you, if you want to get married. Because along the years, it became a dream for her to do so.

Shirasagi Chisato

  Chisato takes your words seriously. If you have any advice, she’ll consider it on her own and put it to use if it’s helpful. She goes to you for opinion on her acting or stage presence in particular. If she thinks you're sugar coating your thoughts, she'll get easily irritated, but if you're blunt, she'll accept it as it is and be rarely offended. She does the same for you, albeit if you ever feel down because of what she has to say, she’ll try to be less blunt, but it takes time for the habit to die down. Still, she loves you and only wants to give you constructive criticism, so she does her best to learn how to communicate with you correctly.

  In a way, your relationship can be seen as too formal for others, but you’re just really serious about communicating your feelings. It became somewhat of an inside joke for one of you to ask the other to talk in private to address something you want to change in your relationship. “Can we talk real quick?” “Listen, I didn’t appreciate how you formulated this here.” You talk in a formal manner on purpose,  kind of as a way to lessen the stress that comes with discussing boundaries.

  You make Chisato laugh until she collapses. In the past, she would contain her laughter behind her hand, now, she slaps her knees so hard it leaves a mark. If she’s sitting down, she’ll fold in half and even slip off her chair. One of those clips become viral once when it happened in an interview. You weren’t even in the frame, yet you still made her cry of laughter at the comment you made about something she said. It’s always a surprise to everyone, but it makes for good stories every time.

  The photos you take together are compiled in a huge binder Pastel Palette made for your five months anniversary. You update it together or whenever one of you have the time. Some of them are decorated with cute stickers, others with Hina’s random doodles. (She likes to draw Alien antennas in your hair for some reason)

  You like to buy random tea for Chisato to try. It became fun to see if you can find an aroma she never tried. Chisato has so many mugs at home, so you can match them with the tea bag as well if you wish to. I’m sure she’s the kind to match the book cover with her tea, mug, and outfit, so she’ll appreciate it!
