Worked on tackling some anxiety problems! Still have a long way to go, but I got my first steps in

For the first time in three years, took a trip that involved being away from home for several days

Made new friends, and voice chatted with people I'd never voice chatted with before!

What's your favourite colour and why? And what do you love doing the most in your free time?

Hot pink/magenta. We’re talking the obnoxiously bright version that technically isn’t real bc we can’t really see it, our eyes just register something that could be green but definitely isn’t so our brains make something up. I really like that tidbit, and also it’s fun enjoying something I “wasn’t supposed to” as a little boy. Feels liberating

Rediscovered Pawnbarian and have been having so much fun playing it that i bought the full version, couldn't help myself. The full version is def even less chesslike but its equally fun. Def miss the og og classic, i know classic is still available to play but it was slightly different.

Pawnbarian chess inspired puzzler game to release this week to Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. All due to the creative efforts of developer Jan Wojtecki, aka j4nw. Which will make its debut on Steam. Pawnbarian is a chess inspired puzzler with light roguelike and card battler elements. Where you take on the role of a warrior piece on a 5x5 chessboard. Now thrown onto the tiny dungeon floor with a bunch of enemies. Including bloodthirsty Capybears, imposing Golems, and eldritch Blightsacks. All due to release on September 24th. You're have a deck of cards representing chess pieces, while you play them to move your hero. The goal is to capture all enemies on a given Pawnbarian floor by moving into them. Doing so like you would in chess. Likewise, you have to avoid or shield yourself from their attacks. So this makes every turn feel like a one of a kind puzzle. Since you have to learn how to play around each enemy type with their unique traits. After each encounter, players can replenish health or upgrade cards with additional powers.

A single run is complete after winning several increasingly difficult floors. All coming together in a challenging boss fight. Pawnbarian is designed to be a short, bite sized gameplay. It's possible to win in around 15 to 30 minutes. That is if you master the game's mechanics.

Hey you lovely people. Here's a thing: there was a "Stand with Ukraine" charity on Humble Bundle, but we noticed it almost at the last minute (I don't keep track of all the charities, usually we just donate directly to government accounts) so I didn't post about it (tho' it is probably still going on as I'm writing this, you can go and check). But we bought a game bundle from which we don't need a lot of games. Some we already own, some are just not for us.

I'm going to give the Steam keys to these games to anyone who wants, the list will be down below, pick something and message me. Priority will be given to anyone I've known for a long time and to my fellow Ukrainians, of course. Although I know that not that many Ukrainians follow my blog.
