Welcome to a quick but important language lesson before our lovely Korean speaking members join the QSMP!
I call it:
“No, that Korean speaker is not casually saying the N-word.”
The Korean word for “I/me” is 내가, romanized as “nae-ga”
The Korean word for “you” is 니가, romanized as “ni-ga”
They are not saying a racial slur. It is literally the word for me/you. please understand the context, and get familiar with hearing these words all the time in normal conversation.
Read this article, this is what they have had to deal with in the west before.
Above all, extend grace and understanding to the new members and new communities. Research things yourself, and educate your friends about their language and culture to avoid misunderstandings. Realize that for many of these new people, this may be their first time interacting with another culture- let alone so many at once. They will be learning themselves, and may make mistakes. Be patient and for the love of god don’t scare them off. spread love <3

I am aware that the whole "kidnapping his love interest" is a major part of Bowser' character, and an appeal to most people I suppose, but I want all the selfshippers to take a moment and imagine;
S/I intentionally getting into a situation where they're kidnapped
S/I finding a way to get to Bowser's castle undetected because they WANT to see more of this huge awesome koopa
Catching Bowser's attention as they are the only one looking at him with starry eyes and a beaming grin
S/I FLIRTING WITH BOWSER VIA CHEESY PUNS and it working (to start a friendship atleast and then *winkity wonk wonk*)
Or, and I want you to imagine the sheer comedy potential of this idea:
(Royal) S/I kidnapping Bowser, as they assume this must be a Koopa Courting Tradition™️, given how often Bowser does it to Peach.
I live for the idea of confused Bowser having a human PINNING after him and trying to romance him... Just
CONFUSED KOOPA KING!!!!!

Lan-jiejie, drunk off a sip of wine and ranting to her friends at 2 am: my didi is a dumbass? He's had a crush on this girl for 15 years, and he keeps getting into fights with her? why can't he get his act together and confess? except he tried to and it got worse? ٩(//̀Д/́/)۶
Lan-jiejie, hearing that her didi finally got engaged to the girl of his dreams:
Lan-jiejie two seconds later, finding out that said engagement is the result of a perilous quest, a secret relationship, and will now be the precursor to a shotgun wedding:

I don't know I cant be hating Jude too much. How does that boy even start that conversation with her about his past? Like 8 years ago I slept your mama. Eek! Poor man just trying to be happy in the present. Our past is nobody's business.
Side note: I'm just being playful not argumentative, 😝
Hi!
I get where you’re coming from. And I’m sure it can’t be an easy conversation to have at all. But I think it wasn’t just on him but Diane’s mom as well to let her know the truth. I think it’s also the way she found out. Neither Jude nor her mom were up front about it, she heard it accidentally. That’s gotta be worse. Like were they ever gonna tell her? At least if her mom and Jude were honest from the start, it would have been Diane’s decision whether she wanted to purse a relationship with Jude or not after knowing that fact. In this case it seemed like they were actively keeping it a secret and that woulda pissed me off too. Actually I woulda been way more pissed off than Diane but that’s just me lol. 🤪
I appreciate that you’re not being argumentative. I love talking about film and jdm stuff as long as people keep it fun, which you definitely are.
Thank you! 😊 ❤️
