Burn it all

Camilo madrigal x villain [NAME

The villagers were sobbing, begging for the Madrigals to save them. But you knew, you knew they wouldn’t come. You stood next to your father a numb look on your face. Your father looks at you telepathically telling you to shut them up!

With a wave of your hand a circle of fire surrounded the villagers. “SHUT UP” you scream. Slowly they all began to quiet down. A cruel smile came on our father’s face. He simply said “Kneel”. When none kneel you grew fearful. You looked to your brother, eyes pleading him not to.

But he could only give you a look of sympathy. “KNEEL” your brother screams, electricity sparking from his hands. On command everyone kneels. One young girl doesn’t move confused. With that she is struck down with lightning. Her burnt body laying outside the of the circle. You feel a few tears fall down your face as you let out a scream. The little girls mother is sobbing, and her father is glaring at you as you walk to her body. Stopping the fire you look at her burnt body, you feel sick to your core.

She was just a little girl who was confused. You felt angry at your brother for killing her, did he even care what her name was. You knew her name, her name was Lavender. You just couldn’t hate him. He had no choice. You BOTH had no choice. This was your life, killing, lying, torturing, and more killing. You hate it, because there is no way out. Not even in death. Bending down to her body you place a kiss on her, this makes her body burn. Then turn to ash, a gust of wind carries the ashes away. You get up sending a sad look to your brother, that is the closest thing to a thank you for the wind he would get.

Your brother has a guilty look on his face. He hates having to kill kids. Hearing rustling behind you turn to see the Madrigals. Isabella’s dress is bloody, and torn. Dolores is on her mother ears bleeding. Pepá has a cloud above her but is otherwise okay. Felix is bruised up, and Luisa is not even there. She was dead before Julieta could heal her. Julieta’s hand is bandage as it was cut off, and has cuts all over her. Mirabel is crying, blood soaking through the dress. Abuela is holding her candle that is almost out. You can’t even look at Antonio. His small form hiding behind Camilo.

You couldn’t even meet his gaze. It hurt to much, you know what you did was messed up. You pretend to love him to get close to him. But you didn’t know you would fall for Camilo too. By the time you realize it was to late, the plan was set in motion. You tried to stop you father but he knew what you didn’t. Father knew about your powers, but Camilo didn’t. Your father would tell him if you backed out now. This was your job, being the manipulative bitch. But it still hurt.

“Ahh I see some of you lived to try and save your little village” Your father spat. You and your brother share a sad look that the Madrigals see. A disappointed look comes over Alma’s face. “I will ask you once leave our home. Leave and have her let the villagers go” Alma yelled. A small chuckle came from your lips, she couldn’t, no wouldn’t say your name. I was kinda funny. Your laugh didn’t go unnoticed.

“How could you! Why did you do this to us! We could have helped you! [NAME] TELL US WHY!”Mirabel screamed. You just turned around and watched your flames. The way the fire crackled brought you a very small piece of calm. Then you thought about what Mirabel said. Everyone was still quiet, waiting for your response. You had done because it was all you had ever known. All you had ever done was hurt people. You didn’t now what love was, so when Camilo gave it to you, you got scared, but that’s not why you did it. You did it because it was your job, the only thing you had ever known.

“When I was young I was scared of my everything. And I mean everything. Diego would laugh at how childish I was. One day he played a little prank on me. Do you want to know what he did” you whispered.

Now concerned Isabella open her mouth but nothing came out. For some reason she understood. This is your way of making yourself feel better about what you had done. That’s why you wouldn’t face them. That’s why you looked at the ring of fire around the villagers. Fearfully Isabella asks “ What did Diego do? [NAME] what did your brothers prank do to you”.

“He locked me in a shed. Behind the house we lived in. Diego had filled the shed with things I feared. Spiders, snakes, it was dark, and it was a small shed. I began I panic in the shed, crying out for my big brother to let me out. As I cried I let out a scream. Then in my hand was a orb of fire. And for the first time” you paused.

Now everyone was watching you play with your flames. The flames dance in your hand. Slowly changing into animals. The fire looked beautiful, it looked like moving glass.

“And for the first time I wasn’t afraid of something. I stoped screaming and watched the fire in my hand. I don’t remember how long I was in the shed, but my father found me eventually. Diego was punished for scaring me. And soon after Diego found out his power” I finished.

“My father was always there for me, how could I tell him no. So if your father told you that you needed to kill a whole village to protect yourself, you would do it. Right? My whole life I was taught to kill, manipulate, hurt, and torture. It’s all we’ve ever known. This job was no different” you spoke. It was a lie, this job was different. Because you fell in love, you felt love for the first time. Camilo’s scream caught you off guard.

“WHAT! What do you mean this job was no different. Was it all a lie? Was everything you ever told me a lie?” Camilo screamed, tears streaming down his face. Then, uncertainly, he whispered “Was our love a lie too?”

[NAME] paused. Did she love Camilo? Or was she just trying to make herself feel better? Was she trying to convince herself that she loved Camilo? Was this all just an act for her mission?

Camilo stared at her, all the hope in his eyes diminishing. In his head he loves her, ever if she killed his cousin. The time he shared with [NAME] were the only time he could be himself. With her family he had to be perfect, just like Isabella. Everyone had to be perfect. He wanted to be free with you. He needed her, he needed her to be happy.

“I don’t know” was all you said. You didn’t now what you wanted. Your father loves you but it was tough love. Camilo’s love was different. It made you hands sweaty, your face flush red, and made you feel warm inside. Camilo’s face dropped a little, and your father was getting mad.

“If you don’t know then there must be something the- THERE IS NOTHING THERE [NAME] DOSENT LOVE YOU” your father finished for Camilo. I wanted to yell at your father for yelling at him. He had no right! Camilo just wanted to be loved by you. Right? You didn’t know.

“[NAME] this is what we do. You and Diego are evil, and cruel. YOU CANNOT LOVE HIM, you can’t love. You’ve done this a million times, it’s not different from all the others. Ana mlark, James hever, Becca jones, you did this with all of them. CAMILO MADRIGAL is no different. You think you love them but you don’t, you just think you do” your father shrieked. He was right about them. About Ana about James about Becca, but not Camilo.

“[NAME] don’t do it I love you”

“[NAME] you don’t love him.”

How the madrigals would react to someone saying “your not a real madrigal you don’t have a gift, you don’t even deserve one!” To Mirabel

Alma: would probably drag them by the ear away from Mirabel and then proceed to yell at them for being so disrespectful because she’s the one that got the magic back.

Felix: would probably just stand there with a glare and the corner them later and ask why they don’t treat him differently instead of bullying a literal 15 year old.

Julieta: she’d be pissed 100% like they would be banned from her healing stall for a while after that. Oh your arms broken? Good luck with that it’ll have to heal on its own

Pepa: She’d also be very pissed, like even though Mirabels technically her niece she might as well be her daughter. And if the person has a lighting strike them for a while after that. That’s their business

Bruno: Mirabels is the reason he’s no longer in the walls and he literally left the family just so she was safe so he’d be livid. He would probably look through as much as their future as he could and tell them every bad thing he saw

Agustin: that’s his daughter and he cares a lot about her so that wouldn’t go down well with him, I imagine he also got told that he wasn’t a madrigal when he married julieta so to hear his daughter, let’s just say they’re lucky their not dead.

Isabela: she would immediately storm over and slap them cause that her little sister their talking about I would imagine she would hit them over the head or trip them over with plants for the rest of their life just to make sure they regret it

Dolores: she’d probably overhear people talking shit about Mirabel a lot and that probably wouldn’t go well so image she’d just let as many things she could about the person write them down on a list and make Camilo to go read them out in the center of the town

Luisa: things will be thrown, when she is working it’s almost always lifting. talk shit about her sister? How about a church thrown at your head. Either that or she’d just pick them up and throw them as far away as she could

Camilo: Camilo sees Mirabel as his twin so that’s not gonna go down well. He’d throw whatever their holding at them. Also Camilo can just turn into them and start shit will people that they would have to deal with. He could destroy someone’s life with ease

Antonio: ok but like think about all the animals this kid controls, do you really think he wouldn’t tell a couple of toucans or even his leopard to go take a bite out of something? Cause he would 100% and he’d have an innocent smile the entire time

The type of hugs the Madrigal’s would give

Including all of the Madrigals!

Just to be safe, though; I’d like to point out that both Camilo and Mirabel are 15, and therefor underage. You can read it for all I care, but don’t make it creepy.

(Also yes, I did include Antonio but I don’t suspect I would actually need to educate you about how that is most definitely not okay)

Pepá: 8/10. She might appear distant to those unfamiliar to her, but she is a very loving person. But she has a very specific hug; she likes to wrap her arms around the shoulders of the person she is hugging, and push them into her chest. It’s very soothing to her, because the touch just feels more personal and intimate to her. She started out doing this to Félix only, but it got carried along with the family and now she does it with everyone.

Félix: Solid 10/10 dad hugs. He might be the best hugger out of the entire family. He really, really enjoys hugs, whether he’s giving them or receiving them. And he tends to know people extremely well, even if he just met you, so he knows the exact right way to hug someone. Has never once overstepped a boundary. Most comforting hugs you could ever get.

Antonio: 6/10. Yes, this is primarily because of his height. It is not an ideal hugging height. As he comes of age, his hugs would probably look a lot like Camilo’s, but for the movie canon age, he probably doesn’t give the best ones. But he means well! He’s really gentle, but the second he’s engaged in a hug, he will not let go until you will. It’s truly endearing.

Camilo: 8/10. As we’ve seen in the movie, he tends to shapeshifter into everyone’s mirrors to offer them the perfect hug, but when it is truly him, he tends to get lost in how to hug, as he cannot base his embrace off of who he holds. He’ll run along with what the other person is doing, but if you insist on him initiating a hug, it is either going to be very enthusiastic or very awkward. But he’s great at copying movements, so once you’re hugging, it’s amazing.

Dolores: 7/10. Very gentle. Extremely gentle. As if you will collapse in her arms. At first, it’ll be as if she isn’t even holding you, but as she melts into the hug, her grip will become tighter. It just takes some time. Luisa’s hugs tend to crack people’s backs and the sound of it drives Dolores insane, hence why her hugs are so light. It isn’t that she doesn’t enjoy the embraces, it is purely because of the noises they often make.

Julietta: 10/10. Healing mom hug. You think her food is magic? So are her hugs. They are so calming and so comfortable. When you’re having a tough day, all you really need is a Julietta hug. She gives these very relaxing side hugs, but is also really good in full embraces when you really need it. Plus, she always smells as freshly baked bread, which is a particularly nice, and recognizable scent.

Agustín: 7/10. Accident-prone doesn’t run away during hugs. He trips, rips seams off of his shirt (somehow), manages to get his hair stuck etc. etc. He means well; 1 out of 3 times the hug will be perfectly safe, which is a relative high number for him, but the rest will purely be struggles. He doesn’t let it stop his embrace though. Oh no. His nose could be bleeding for all he cares but he is getting that hug.

Mirabel: 8/10. Loves hugs, but takes after her father. Primarily with the tripping. She gets really excited when you want a hug, so she’ll abandon all other thoughts she had swarming in her head. Bumps heads often or tends to kiss your face out of happiness. It’s really sweet and endearing, but she gets very enthusiastic.

Luisa: 7/10. As her younger sister, she gets excited. She forgets that she has her strength and cracks people’s backs when they’re in her embrace. You’d think that after all these years she’d realize it during hugs, but she doesn’t. Luckily, cracking your back doesn’t hurt that much, so that’s not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is escaping. Her arms are very warm and she’ll most likely bear-hug you off the ground, so you don’t want to escape and she doesn’t want to let go. It’s surprising how long these hugs last.

Isabela: 6/10. As Dolores, her touch is very gentle. Once you know her, her hug rate will probably shift to 8/10, but when you aren’t that close with her, the hugs won’t be that great. They are very distant, though she tries to remain nice. When you do know her well, she gives Mirabel-ish hugs, just minus the whole tripping and bumping heads thing. She does shower your face with kisses. You can’t stop her from doing that. I’m sorry.

Bruno: 7/10. Now, I know we headcanoned him as touch-starved, but he is not a baby. This man has been living in the Encanto for 40 years, before disappearing for ten. Sure, his hugs will be hesitating, but it isn’t foreign to him. He knows how to hug. Post-Encanto, he’d probably take a while to get accustomed to them, just patting backs left and right, but over time he grows into Julietta’s place, giving excellent 10/10 comforting hugs. He’d most likely go for the traditional, hands around shoulders hug instead of waist, because he tends to take to himself at times, but all you have to do is tell him it’s okay and he won’t hesitate again.

Alma/Abuela: 7/10. Talking pre-Encanto, I’d give her a 4/10 as she distances herself from her family, but she grows back into the tradition of embracing those you love. In the hug she shared with Mirabel, you can truly see that Alma holds her close and relishes under the touch, so she’d give pretty decent hugs. They aren’t the best, but they are definitely enjoyable. She really tries.

Camilo gently laid you down on his bed as he ran his hand up your thigh, eventually going under your dress. His lips locked with yours as you tangled your fingers through his curly locks.

You two soon paused as you heard the door open. "Camilo-" Abuela Alma stood, a shocked look on her face which soon turned into an unbothered expression. "Don't forget you still need to wash the dishes, it's your turn today." She then glanced towards you and back at Camilo. "You should find a better place to get on with your...activities." She then shut the door.

Pepá Madrigal

Camilo had you pressed up against the wall as he gently kiss down your neck, making you let out small whimpers of pleasure. "CAMILO-" You both heard his mother's voice approaching the door, along with her heavy footsteps. "Shit-" Pepa was angry at something Camilo had done, again. But now wasn't the time.

"CAMILO HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU-" Pepa bellowed as she bust through the door. She then let out a loud gasp, covering her mouth. "MY LITTLE BOY, ALL GROWN UP!" She then ran towards Camilo and grabbed his face kissing him all over. "Mamá!" Camilo tried to free himself from her grip.

"MI AMOR WHAT'S WRONG-" Félix then came running into Camilo's room. "Ah Mi Amor, you're going to get him all wet! Let's leave and let them enjoy themselves." He said as he gently grabbed her arms and dragged her away, a cloud forming above her head.

"Hey Camilo-" Mirabel said as she waltz through the door. "Woah." "Mirabel, get out!" Camilo shouted as he tried to push her out of the door. "Sorry! I didn't know you were-" Before she could finish what she was saying, she was already forced out by Camilo.

Who's my favorite Madrigal? Uh, glorious chaotically unhinged sunshine man himself, Felix.

1: "Let it in, let it out, let it rain, let it snow, let it go! That's what I'm always saying, bro!" Endless patience and acceptance for his wife. No matter what Pepá is feeling, he's there for it.

2: "married in a hurricane! What a glorious day but anyway—" a man of quality taste, I see. He didn't just fall in love with Pepa despite her god-like ability to create dangerous weather conditions in confined spaces, he fell in love with her because of it. I, too, am attracted to pretty girls who could easily murder me and get away with it, my guy.

No one has brought this up as far as I know, and I just really enjoy Felix. Let's show sunny D man some love.

Small things I love in “Waiting on a Miracle ”

There’s gonna be a lot on this list also I’m doing it for all the other songs too!

How all of the family are posing! Everyone if them is doing something unique to them and I love it!

The way flowers come out from under her dress like they did for Isabela earlier

Julieta and Agustins faces matching how they look at the end of the Movie

Camilo, Dolores and Antonio all having their arms up and reaching for her lovingly

And all Mirabel wanting from abuela is just a warm smile

It’s heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time

Mirabel reaching out for Isabela but pulling away instantly

Her running up the stairs and the lighting immediately changing from warm colours to cool colours,

It’s breathtaking

The fireworks about to go off but just as she stamps her foot they start too

It’s beautiful

Honestly I think this song is the prettiest looking out the movie just before what else can I do
