Someone on Twitter asked me about a couple characters that show up on Page 1 of my Sonic issue 64 story, so here they are

A lot of us freelancers doing art stuff for the comic have these recurring fancharacters that exist just to be background fodder. It's just for fun, a bit of a signature (much like how I try to have Peppepe in every story I do), and an easy go-to when you need to think how to populate a background. Don't think of this as the new Lanolin or anything, these aren't characters properly, they're background props with a cute design. They'll never do anything other than stand in a set, and I only named them for the fun of it lol.

Now, I was asked if these were a reference to a specific game series. What I'll say to that is they were inspired by some stuff, some people felt it looked too close to the inspiration, and so they got redrawn a couple times- hence why they look different in this drawing from how they look in issue 64, and they look different in Story A and Story B of issue 64 lol. It's stuff that happens! I hope this design I'm posting here will work futurely, and if it doesn't, that's likely the end of Stiletto and Piccola lol
