my random off the cuff theory about the Kal'tsit look-alike in Endfield (besides the obvious out of universe money+appeal reasons that game companies (especially gachas) make characters look similar to prev characters)

is that she might be either a... hmm, i don't want to say failed, but a failed clone or reincarnation of Kal'tsit. we don't know yet how Kal'tsit's immortality works, her Remnant skin seems to suggest she has either some plans in place when she dies or confidence in whatever force(s) are at work keeping her alive, she's recognizing that she'll be going soon, but also that she'll be back.

so that makes me wonder if this lookalike, if she is indeed connected to Kal'tsit, could be, or have been, part of her contingency plan, either a form that her consciousness might reincarnate into but hasn't yet, or maybe one that she already has and then moved on from.

unrelated to Kal'tsit: looking at the Endfield-ers so far, the name Perlica reminded me of something, the character on the left is Persica, from Girl's Frontline (which i fell off of but still respect), which Lowlight also worked on before making Arknights, and in some draft art for GFL you can see the concepts/designs that would become W and the Doctor.

so i'm now wondering if Endfield's Perlica might be a similar reworking using GFL's Persica as a starting point.

The Magdalen Reading, 1535. - Ambrosius Benson (1495/1500- 1550).

A woman, her hair covered by an elaborate structure of caps and semi-transparent veils, holds a luxurious illuminated book in a green velvet binding. The pot identifies her as Mary Magdalene: it holds the ointment with which the saint anointed Christ’s feet.

The hands and book are copied from Saint Barbara in Gerard David’s The Virgin and Child with Saints and Donor. They are so close that it seems Ambrosius Benson copied from the original or that he had access to the preliminary drawings. He was a pupil of David, and the two were involved in a lawsuit about patterns which David alleged he had found in Benson’s chest. The folds of the veil are extremely close to Mary Magdalene’s headdress in The Magdalen in a Landscape by Albert Cornelis, from whom Benson borrowed patterns.

Benson specialised in half-lengths of young women depicted as Mary Magdalene or as sibyls (female oracles in classical mythology). This lady’s strangely elongated ear and large hands are typical of the artist. The style of her dress suggests a date of about 1520, making it one of the artist’s earliest such pictures. - The National Gallery.

His original name was likely Benzone or Bensoni, or a variation.

Ambrosius Benson (c. 1495/1500, in Ferrara or Milan – 1550, in Flanders) was an Italian painter who became a part of the Northern Renaissance.

While many surviving paintings have been attributed, there is very little known of him from records, and he tended not to sign his work. He is believed to be responsible for mainly religious art, but also painted portraits on commission. He sometime painted from classical sources, often setting the figures in modern-dress, or a contemporary domestic setting. In his lifetime he was successful; he had a large workshop, his work was sold internationally and he was especially popular in Spain.

Benson became popular as a source for pastiche with 19th-century painters, who are sometimes known as the "followers of Benson". In particular his many variations of the Magdalen and Sibilla Persica were further copied and became popular with contemporary buyers. - Wikipedia.

En conclusión, nuestro proyecto integrador ha revelado las complejidades y las interconexiones profundas relacionadas con la contaminación del suelo. Desde la perspectiva legal, hemos identificado la necesidad de fortalecer el marco jurídico ambiental para abordar eficazmente esta problemática. A través del lente del arte ambiental, hemos experimentado cómo las expresiones artísticas pueden catalizar el cambio y sensibilizar a las comunidades.

Desde la física, hemos explorado los fenómenos involucrados en la contaminación del suelo, brindando una visión más clara de sus causas y consecuencias. Además, hemos destacado cómo esta problemática ambiental se extiende más allá del suelo, afectando la calidad del aire, el agua y, en última instancia, la salud humana.

En el ámbito de la salud, hemos examinado las conexiones entre la contaminación del suelo, la obesidad y la diabetes, subrayando la importancia de abordar estas cuestiones de manera integral.

Nuestro enfoque grupal ha demostrado ser un catalizador efectivo para comprender la complejidad de la contaminación del suelo desde diversas disciplinas. Al mirar hacia el futuro, reconocemos la necesidad de soluciones colaborativas y sostenibles para preservar nuestro entorno y mejorar la calidad de vida de las generaciones venideras. Este proyecto no solo ha sido un análisis exhaustivo, sino también un llamado a la acción para promover cambios significativos y sostenibles en nuestra relación con el medio ambiente.
