Just out of curiosity but do you read/ hc pietro as neurodivergent? I know it’s a popular hc among fans and there’s certainly some moments that lend to that interpretation (plus I see a bit of myself and my brother in him so personally I hc he has mild autism) but I was wondering if you had any of your own thoughts on it, or for Wanda for that matter?
Yes, but it's complicated. Pietro and Wanda are both characters who spend a lot of time grappling with complex trauma, generational trauma, mental illness, and what are clearly meant to be read as neurological differences. I struggle with many of those things myself, and as a Romani person with an immigrant background, I get a lot out of reading these characters through that lens. It's an intrinsic part of what makes them so human and compelling to me, especially as part of a larger, intergenerational tapestry of mixed-race immigrants and survivors. These issues are a part of our heritages and histories, so I want that to be reflected in the characters who represent me.
I think it's hard to talk about neurodivergence or mental illness-- which, of course, are not the same thing, I just mean that the conversations tend to overlap-- with Wanda and Pietro because this is already, textually, part of the characters, but it's been implemented in really messy ways.
For both of them, their primary mental health challenges and neurological differences are treated as extensions or results of their powers. There is an allegorical element that gets in the way of literal representation. This sort of thing is very common in superhero comics, and I've written about it before regarding transness and genderfluidity. It's entirely possible to still write meaningful and resonant representation, but I don't know if I feel comfortable saying "Pietro is autistic"when the text is saying he doesn't have autism, he has a super-speed-mutation-brain. Does that make sense?
The other problem is that the material that introduced these elements to the characters is really problematic. I'm sure I don't have to explain why House of M is an ableist and sexist narrative, but a lot of people seem to overlook the fact that the depiction of Wanda as a person with specific mental illnesses is rooted in a harmful, ableist storyline. Specifically, the way that schizoaffective disorders are defined and pathologized in Disassembled is cruel, inaccurate, and just unacceptable. That tone is still echoed in a lot of modern comics when Wanda's mental health is addressed.
In addition, I really don't like to put too much stock in the whole "Pietro Maximoff Syndrome" thing from X-Factor. For one thing, Peter David is a hateful, vocal anti-Romani racist, and it is reflected in a lot of his choices with Pietro. While this direction did humanize and justify some of Pietro's personality flaws, I do feel that the tone was overall very derisive towards him.
In Scarlet Witch (2016), Wanda talks about going to therapy and taking antidepressants, and in Quicksilver: No Surrender (2018), Pietro talks about his complex trauma responses in a way that's specifically grounded to the reality of being a severely marginalized person of color. These are the best examples of how their mental health has been addressed-- they bypass the powers and allegory and just allow the characters to inhabit real experiences that actually deserve representation.
That said, it doesn't really represent neurodivergence the same way. I think that's a subject that superhero comics have been dancing around for a long time, but haven't quite figured out how to reckon with. I really hope its something we'll see more positive growth towards, in the future.

Tw/ suicide, overdose, drugs/drugging, kidnapping, Stockholm syndrome, suicide, double suicide.
Just a short drabble.
So at this point Kate is very deep in her stockholm syndrome, so deep that Wandanat let her go out and about because they always knew that she would come back.
Unbeknownst to them, Kate had gained some friends during her time out of the house and said friends were obviously curious about her, she had lost years off her life but the way she talked about her captors was...delusional to say the least.
"Oh, my mommy and daddy likes to keep me in the house, it's safer there but they've been allowing me to go out more." After Peter, her bew friend asked her about her life, it was said with a big smile and Peter naturally thought that she was talking about her parents, he thought it was strange but kept those thoughts to himself.
The longer Kate talked about them it became very clear that that was not the case and that Kate's home dynamic was very strange, Peter had questioned her about it but Kate was quick to shut it down.
And the more time she spent with her friends the more she realized the reality of her situation, her friends had introduced her to drugs, drugs different to those Wanda gave her, she would come home high at times and was punished every time.
Natasha was very harsh with Kate, actually only following the instructions Wanda gave her, how she would hit and cut her, how she would fuck her and everything in between.
Wanda on the other hand was very soft, always praising her and leaving the dirty work to her little girl, she was great at making Kate feel safe and at home, she was also making it very difficult for Kate to want to escape.
Kate had been given and taken a few too many pills one time which had resulted in an overdose, both Wanda and Nat had been very worried and had prohibited her from leaving the house after that.
The two would use rope to tie Kate up with, which was stupid of them, they had left the rope in easy access to Kate, who was intent on escaping, no matter the outcome.
Her captors had a multitude of suspension hooks in the ceiling, only making it easier for her as she hung herself with the rope used to tie her up with.
When Wanda and Nat came home that day and found Kate hanging from the ceiling, they both had been in despair, they blamed eachother, Wanda blamed herself and the guilt had just been too much, resulting in her slashing her own throat.
Natasha couldn't live without her two girls and without any of them with her, she had shot herself, promptly putting an end to all of her suffering.
When the police finally found their bodies and every sign of the abduction, it had barely been a week and three death articles came out the next day.
Wanda Maximoff, prominent lawyer dead at 34, cause unknown.
Natasha Romanoff, security chief of Romanov security dead at 39, cause unknown.
Kate Bishop, heir to Bishop Security found dead at age 22 after missing for four years, further examination to be done.
Many people had their theories and suspicions, mostly because of the articles being released on the same day and the ties they had but nothing was ever confirmed

Ironically, I did pair you with SPIDER Man, BUT he thinks it's funny that you are dating the guy named after one of your least favorite things.
Also, I think in this whole world of superpowers, you would have the ability to communicate or "associate" with animals. You may not be able to literally talk to them, but you have a connection with them. Like, Disney Princess vibes ya' know?
You and Peter met in high school, were really close friends. You found out he was Spider Man, he found out about your powers, you became very close.
BUT you did not start dating until your last year in high school, and you ended up going to the same college (lets pretend the whole world-wide memory loss thing didn't happen lol)
If you are up for it, Peter likes to take you across the city using his webs. He is always cautious, never wanting to scare you or jostle you around too much.
After you and Peter moved in together a few years into your relationship, he surprised you with a pet for your birthday. Cat or Dog, your choice.
Peter is obviously protective, and never wants you to get hurt. He also hates if people try to take advantage of your kindness and willingness to help people.
*I was specifically picturing this Peter, but if you prefer Garfields or McGuires, nothing would really change about the hcs lol.

This was a very hard choice, but I am going to go with Merlin himself.
Merlin is such a kind and caring soul, and you two are quite similar I think you would be drawn to one another. Similar souls and what not.
Runner Up: Guinevere - again very hard choice between her and Merlin I think you would go great with either.
Headcanons:
You and Merlin met through Gwen, and there was OBVIOUS attraction between the two of you immedietely. Gwen was so glad she introduced you, and was so happy when you two actually got together.
Merlin loves animals as well, so if he ever finds an injured or lost animals he will bring it home to you, and you two take care of it until it can go back to it's habitat.
Merlin told you about his magic pretty early on, even before you started dating. He knew he could trust you, and he had an inkling that you might have magic as well but didn't know about it.
And he was right! With some help from Gaius as well, you discovered you could perform some spell magic, and your magic was very powerful when it involved natural elements. Aka, you were a druid.
He made sure to keep your secret safe with him, just as you did for him. Both of you are protective of each other, and will do whatever you can to keep each other safe.
Merlin definitely takes care of spiders for you, if you get any in your house. He thinks your fear of them is both funny and cute.
You are like a little sister to the other Knights, they adore you, and love that you and Merlin are so happy together. They teased him all the time leading up to him confessing his feelings for you.

Once you had finally calmed down from your grief, Wanda gave you a tour of the cabin. You still weren’t sold on the fact that this would be your new home. Though, with every room she showed you, it felt like you got to know her a bit better. For example; she had so many sitcoms, and they were all so neatly organized. They sat on a table in front of the couch that had a red blanket strewn across, like someone had just been sitting there. There was fresh fruit sitting on her counter in the kitchen that you wondered if she had picked herself, and in her living room on her nightstand sat a picture of her, vision- another avenger that you knew had died in battle, and two younger boys that you had never seen before.
There was so much more to Wanda Maximoff than the media showed. Before today; you had never met the redhead face to face, sure you had seen her torn apart by the news after the Sokovia and Lagos incidents but you also remember this part of you that believed she was a good person. Like you had met her, except you know for a fact you hadn't, so why does it feel like you have? Did you know someone that had met her? No, you would've remembered that. Was she putting thoughts into your head? Why can’t you remember? Maybe the media was right, after all, she took you here and won’t let you leave. Here, where even is here?
“Tasmania” Wanda said nonchalantly as she walked toward the door.
“What?” you questioned.
“Tasmania, Australia. That’s where we are” she responded opening the front door.
“Oh my god, of course, you can-, god- you’re just like they said on the news, you- stay out of my head!” you spewed out with anger and confusion as you shook your head, not really knowing what words would best describe the pure anger and fear you felt.
Wanda felt a pang in her chest when you mentioned the news, it often gave her anxiety thinking about the way that they portrayed her to be a villain when she was just trying her best to do the right thing. As she took a deep breath, she turned to you and explained, “I didn’t mean to invade your thoughts. They’re so loud, it’s hard to ignore them, especially when it's so quiet.”
She seemed sincere, you were slightly taken aback by that. As far as logic goes; the woman in front of you is a powerful aberration that should be feared, but she’s been so gentle with you and she seemed so…domestic. Wanda continued down the front steps of the cabin and you followed behind her whilst keeping a tentative distance. In front of the cabin sat a lake that stretched on for miles, winding and curving at the edges, but you could clearly see the blank canvas of hills and mountains that lay on the other side seemingly untouched. Portions of the water snuck through the depressions of the hills and valleys, devoured by trees and other rock formations to create a cove. You stood there in awe for a second looking out over the water.
“Come on, let me introduce you to the sheep” she said excitedly, urging you towards the pasture.
“Sheep?” you murmured under your breath as you followed along
She brought you over and introduced you, “This is Laura, Sammy, and Leslie” she said pointing out each one to you.
“Who’s this?” you ask looking over at the other animal standing nearby
“Oh. This is Brady, the happy accident of the bunch” she said smiling
“Happy accident?” you query
When Wanda inquired about getting sheep from a local farmer, the plan was four sheep. She’s not exactly sure what happened; maybe it was a loss in communication, or simply an accident, but what arrived was 3 young sheep and 1 baby llama. Nevertheless, Wanda was not disappointed. If anything, it was a pleasant surprise. Brady, the llama, quickly became her unspoken favorite.
“Yea, so I was supposed to be getting 4 sheep, and somehow this little guy showed up instead.”
You went over to pet him and he quickly nuzzled into your neck. You leaned into him and relished in the comfort of his softness and gentle nature. You loved animals and had a special connection with them so it was becoming increasingly hard for you to keep your stone-cold persona up, the animals were only helping Wanda chip away at it more and more. You kept having to remind yourself that this is not a good situation, and you should be afraid and hesitant of Wanda, so why weren't you?
“He’s such a cuddler” Wanda said smiling at the two of you sharing a warm embrace.
“Yea, I can tell” you tried to say in a neutral tone but Brady began to sniff your ear and made you giggle towards the end.
You were surprised at how soft the animals were when you first touched them, and they were so well kept. You wondered if Wanda had help that would come and take care of them because surely that must be too much for one person, though maybe it helped that she had magic on her side.
After seeing the animals she showed you the various fruit she had growing on her property. There was quite a space dedicated to different fruits that grow on trees all lined up in rows, like apples, pears, and peaches; and then next to the trees stood different berry bushes. The rows of fruit lead to an area with a few oak trees surrounding a small stony circular patio that held 2 chairs and a small table. Around the patio sat nicely tended shrubs and a stone walkway that leads off from an archway towards the lake.
Wanda went and sat down in one of the chairs and you took your queue to sit in the other. With a flick of her wrist, she conjured up a game of checkers onto the table. You look down at the game for a moment, “Can I be red?” you ask.
“Red is kind of my color.” she laughs.
“Oh, right.” you say dropping your head and frowning
At that point, it clicked in Wanda’s head. She looked down at the red shirt you were wearing and noticed the spider symbol. “How about blue?” she tried to compromise.
“Blue is even better!” you exclaimed, “-but checkers are supposed to be red and black.” you stated.
“Well, it doesn’t really matter does it?” she asked as she changed the black pieces to blue with the magic seeping from her fingers.
“I guess not.” you respond after thinking it over briefly. She begins the game and you both play for a bit in silence until she breaks the lull.
“Is Spider-Man your favorite?” She questions.
Did she really just take information from your head again after you just made a big deal of it? You stare at her for a second about to go off on her for invading your thoughts but as you open your mouth to berate her, she nods her head toward your chest, “your shirt”
You look down, forgetting exactly what shirt you decided to put on that morning and notice the red cotton with a small black spider symbol in the center.
Your cheeks flush slightly from embarrassment for assuming the worst of her, “Uh. Yea, he is.” You respond, dipping your head down.
She makes her next move and then asks, “What do you like about him?”
You study the chessboard intently while simultaneously thinking over her question. To be honest, you don’t even remember when you started liking him or what drew you to him but for as long as you can remember he’s always been your favorite.
“Well, for starters, he doesn't kidnap people.” You quip as you move your piece.
She chuckles softly, “is that all?”
“Well, his powers are pretty cool too, I’d love to swing through the city like he does, it looks like so much fun.” You said as an idea instantly popped into your head, “wait, I bet I could make his webbing.” You said excitedly
Wanda, knowing this to be true since you had helped your brother come up with the formula before you had forgotten about his existence, tried to talk you down, “I don’t know, it probably has something to do with his powers.”
“No, no it doesn’t. He has web shooters on his wrists that shoot web fluid, I really think I could do it.” You said confidently, Wanda can’t help but smile at your confidence as you move your chess piece into the square closest to her, granting you king status. “King me.” You say, expecting her to stack one of your lost pieces on top. Instead, your chip glows red for a second as it engraves a spider symbol on top, “WOAH!” You gasp mesmerized.
After playing a few games, you and Wanda take a walk to investigate the lake. There’s a small beach area with sand leading into the water. A little bit past that is a dock, which has a paddle boat attached to it and a ladder.
“Do you swim here?” you ask, wondering if the water is safe to enter.
“Oh, no. I don’t swim” she responded with feigned offense
“You don’t swim? Why not?”
“I just- I don’t see the point of it, I’m perfectly happy here on land.”
“Hm” you pondered for a moment before sprinting towards the water
With wide eyes, Wanda shouted your name. Suddenly, inches before meeting the water, your body came to a sudden halt. Engulfed in red wisps of her magic, Wanda stopped you from reaching the lake. Shock soon set in; your heart began to race as you tried to move, not expecting it or being used to the feeling of Wanda’s magic.
“What are you going to do, go in there fully clothed?” Wanda asked as if she had just saved your life.
“Let me go, Wanda!” you nervously struggle.
Still holding you with her magic, Wanda sets you down next to her. Once you’re freed of the red glow; you instinctively backpedal from her as quickly as possible and fall to the ground.
“Y/N-” she tries to help you up but you’re frightened. You’ve seen her use her magic, but the fact that she so effortlessly used it on you terrifies you. Not even a week ago, you watched Aunt May get murdered by a creature with much less capability than Wanda. She could so easily hurt you and not even think twice about it.
“NO- stop, do- don’t come any closer” you stutter, stretching your arm out with the palm of your hand facing her.
Not realizing that this would trigger you, Wanda instantly regretted her actions. Her intentions weren’t malicious and she was hurt that you thought she would ever abuse you, “Y/N, I- I’m sorry. I’m not going to hurt you. I just didn’t want you getting your clothes wet.”
“Can I go home now?” you ask wanting this nightmare to end, wanting to go back to your Aunt May and your normal life. Aunt May is gone though, so what is really left of your home anyway?
“You are home” Wanda responds sincerely.
Wanting nothing more than your old life that no longer exists back, you start sprinting for the cabin to try and find any form of comfort you can.
Wanda doesn’t follow you, knowing you just want to be alone.
When you reach the cabin, you head for the bedroom and immediately bury yourself in the comforter and pillows. Desperately trying to find any sort of comfort and forget about your current situation. You just want to go back to the way things were before.
Unable to shake the feeling of guilt, that you should’ve done more, protected your Aunt. She did so much for you, taking you in and raising you as her own. Always there for you at the drop of a hat. You could go to her for anything, she was your best friend. After all, she was only in that mess because of you and- wait.
Why was the goblin after you? Why is it all a blur now? You couldn’t prevent the pressure in your head from building to a boisterous amount as you tried to hold back your tears with no success. Your breathing became rapid and the tears began to flow freely as over and over in your head, you see Aunt May getting up from the rubble that the goblin had caused and looking at you. Confusion in her eyes that you had never seen before. Suddenly, you could feel the same ache in your chest as you felt that day when you looked at her fade away in your arms. Time loses meaning as you just break down and let your emotions out.
Soon, it isn’t just Aunt May that your mind wanders to though. You can’t help but think back to what Wanda said earlier.
“And what home would that be, huh? The one without a family? Without your parents, your siblings- Aunt May”
You’ve truly lost everyone you have ever loved. There is barely even a shell left of your physical home after what the goblin had done to it. Having one thing to grieve about was overbearing enough; now that your mind was taking everything that you had gone through all at once, it became too much to handle and you began to hyperventilate.
Wanda could sense the mental shift in your state from outside the cabin. She wasn’t listening for your thoughts but she could feel the paranoia in your mind screaming for something to keep you from imploding. As quickly as she could, she hurried to your side.
“Y/N?” she tried getting your attention but you were lost in your overwhelming thoughts.
By the time Wanda had gotten to the bedroom, you could barely hear anything from the outside world. The blood from your body pounded into your ears. As if you were underwater, it was all muffled and things were a blur.
She pried your hand from your leg and took it into hers. You wanted to put up a fight but you didn’t know how in the moment. With your hand, she began tapping rhythmically and drawing slow and steady circles for you to focus on. You tried to fixate on that instead of the hysteria going on in your head. You can tell Wanda is continuing to speak to you as she does this but you can’t make out the words.
She then moves your hand onto her chest to follow her breathing as she exasperates her breathes.
“Follow me” you can hear in your head
You can feel the movement of her chest rising and falling, you try to mimic it. The more you do this, the more your breathing slows and becomes normalized. Eventually your thoughts slow along with your breathing.
“Y/N, can you hear me now?” Wanda says as she notices the large inhale you take to slow your breathe even more.
You nod, slowly opening your eyes that you didn’t even realize were shut. Gradually coming back to reality as the plague in your brain subsides.
“Would you like to talk about it?” Wanda gently inquires, not wanting to pry or make anything worse.
“I-I just miss my Aunt. My family.” you say as you try and gather your thoughts, “I realized, I don’t even know why the goblin was after me. You were right; everyone I’ve ever cared for is dead,” your tears start to slowly fall again as you recollect. You look up at Wanda, “Is there something wrong with me?”
She pulls you into a tight hug, “no, Y/N, there’s nothing wrong with you” she replies as she holds you tightly and rubs your back. You feel comfortable and safe in her arms. The fear you had earlier completely subsiding with your panic attack. Almost instantly, you feel a wave of exhaustion wash over you. Not only did your fit of terror take a lot of energy, but you also haven’t slept since the night before the fight with your brother and his variants. When Wanda transported you both to the other side of the world, it was daytime due to timezones, so you were very overdue on sleep. Surely, your lack of rest didn’t help your emotional state.
You let yourself relax into the comfort and warmth of Wanda’s grasp and before you knew it, your heavy eyelids stayed shut as you let sleep overtake you. She felt like home to you.

so as much as I love Peter being part of the X-Men team and being really close with them and they’re all great buddies…but consider this. Everyone probably fcking HATED Peter. He’s speeding everywhere constantly making your hair go wild, does his own thing in training/missions majority of the time, and just Won’t. Shut. Up. “That boy keeps staring at you,” Derek mumbles to Y/N.
Y/N looked up from her meal to look around the diner to see who Derek was talking about, “I don’t see anyone looking at me.”
Stiles scoffs at her, “Yeah, because they aren’t going to keep staring at you if you look up at them. That would make it too obvious that they’re staring at you.”
“I was talking about the boy in the large group in front of us,” Derek states.
Y/N looks up to lock eyes with a young, brunette boy sitting in the middle of a large group of adults. The boy quickly looks away and tries to casually pretend he wasn't staring.
“Told you.”
She rolls her eyes at Derek, “He probably just thinks I’m cute or something.”
Derek grumbles in annoyance at someone else staring at his girlfriend. He slowly moves his arm to rest on the seat behind Y/N’s back in an attempt to show that she’s taken.
Stiles laughs at Derek’s lack of subtlety, “Jealous, sourwolf? Scared someone will help her break free from the Stockholm syndrome she seems to have with you?”
Derek stops midway through biting into his burger to give Stiles a murderous glare. At his look, Stiles gives him a big, teasing smile.
“C’mon, Stiles,” Scott says while nudging his arm, “You know they’d never be able to break her free. He keeps too many locks on the basement door.”
Y/N gives him an unamused look, “You are both complete idiots.”
“So, who was staring at you again,” Stiles asks while looking around.
“The boy sitting in the group behind you. I’m sure it’s nothing.”
Stiles turns to look at who she’s talking about before quickly turning back around with a shocked look on his face, “Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.”
“What,” Scott asks before turning around to see who has Stiles so stunned.
“The Avengers are sitting right behind us. The fucking Avengers are sitting right behind us!”
“Who are the Avengers? Are they some kind of band?” Derek asks.
“Who are the–,” Stiles was flabbergasted at the statement, “The Avengers are the greatest superheroes of all time. While you’re here dealing with the supernatural, they’re everywhere dealing with everything else.”
“I still don’t know who they are.”
“Yeah, he doesn’t go online much or watch any TV.” Y/N takes a long look at the table of Avengers. “Now that you say that, I’m starting to recognize them now. Well, at least I recognize Captain America from the anti-drug video we had to watch freshman year.”
“The boy who was staring at you is Peter Stark. He’s Tony Stark’s son,” Stiles informs her.
“Who’s Tony Stark? The name sounds familiar, but I’m not sure from where.”
"Do you live under a rock?" Stiles asks as he shakes his head at her. “He’s like the richest man in the world. He’s got a net worth of about $100 billion.”
“I wish I had that kind of money,” Scott grumbles.
“So, what does he do? What makes him a superhero?” Y/N questions Stiles.
“That’s the thing,” Stiles states excitedly, “he doesn’t technically have any superpowers. He’s a guy who’s rich and smart and who made himself a suit that has superpowers. I have heard though that he may have given himself some super abilities, but it’s never been confirmed.”
“So, he’s basically the guy in that movie you like. What was his name?” Y/N pauses to think for a moment. “Oh, Batman!”
Stiles grips his chest in disgust, “First of all, he is nothing like Batman. Second of all, how dare you compare the two!”
Y/N threw her hands up in defense, “I’m sorry I said anything. I didn’t realize it was going to trigger you.”
Scott chuckles at their antics, “You should know by now that he takes these things way too seriously.”
“Thank you!” Stiles exclaims.
“I knew I should’ve said I was busy,” Derek mumbles.
“C’mon, babe,” Y/N says while smiling up at him, “You know you love spending time with us.”
“I love spending time with you. I tolerate the other two,” Derek states while smirking back at her.
“Ugh, get a room,” Stiles scoffs in disgust, looking at the pair staring into each other’s eyes.
Derek cups Y/N’s face and pulls her into a long kiss. After they part, he turns toward Stiles with a smirk still on his face. Y/N laughs as Stiles pretends to start gagging.
“So if Tony Stark is an Avenger, is his son one as well? He looks a bit too young to be one,” Y/N questions.
“I’m pretty sure he’s older than you. He’s like 19, 20 years old,” Stiles answered, “He works for his dad at one of his companies. There’s also a conspiracy theory that he’s behind the mask of Spiderman, but it’s never been proven, and he’s always denied it.”
“I get why he’d want to keep it a secret if he is. I mean, if the world knew about us, I don’t know if I could stand the pressure of being in the limelight like that. Plus, I’m sure people hold them to an unrealistic standard considering who they are,” Y/N states.
“I don’t think I could deal with all the enemies and bad guys they have to deal with,” Scott adds, “We are constantly dealing with different people and creatures and we haven’t left Beacon Hills. It feels like every week someone else wants to kill us.”
“Yeah, they definitely don’t have the greatest of lives,” Stiles informs them while shoveling his mouth full of food, “Some of them only have powers because they’ve been experimented on. Tony Stark’s daughter was kidnapped when she was three years old. Her remains were found ten years later at a Hydra facility.”
“Who’s Hydra?” Scott asks.
“A terrorist group who wants world domination. They’re the reason the Winter Soldier and Scarlet Witch exist.”
“That must have been awful finding his daughter’s remains,” Y/N sighs sadly.
“He wasn’t the one to find them,” Stiles began, “It was some other team that found her. They’ve never said who did, but it has been said that he didn’t.”
“Can we please change the subject?” Derek asks as he rubs his temple. “You haven’t shut up about the Avengers for the last ten minutes.”
“Well, now that I know it annoys you, I want to talk about them more,” Stiles smirks at the annoyed werewolf.
“If you don’t stop talking, I’m going to ri–”
“Rip my throat with your teeth. I get it,” Stiles interrupts, “If anyone should be the jealous one in the relationship, it should be Y/N. Why are you constantly talking about putting your lips on my neck?”
“He’s got you there,” Scott quips.
Derek glares at the both of them, “I wish you were dead.”
“If that were true, you would’ve killed us a long time ago,” Stiles states with a grin on his face, “I think you’re keeping us around because you secretly have a crush on me. And you can’t kill Scott because you know I’d never get with you if you’ve killed my best friend.”
Derek looks to Y/N for help, “I can’t help you. You started this so you have to deal with it.”
He huffs, leaning back in his seat, “I hate all of you.”
“C’mon, grumps. You know you lov–,” Stiles is interrupted by his phone ringing. He quickly answers his phone when he sees that it’s Lydia calling. The group stays silent as they watch him speak with her in concern.
Scott’s the first one to speak when he hangs up, “What’s going on?”
“She was on her way to get her nails done, and now she’s standing in front of some random building. She thinks someone’s body might be there, but she doesn’t want to be the one to find it.” Stiles answers.
“Let’s go then!”
Derek throws some cash on the table as the group stands to leave. As they walk towards the front door, Y/N can sense that Peter is watching them. She turns and gives him a small smile and waves as she leaves.

Peter waves back at the girl as she leaves, but he’s not sure if she noticed or not. She was already halfway out the door when he decided to wave back.
“Are you finally going to finish your food now that she’s not here to distract you?”
Peter gives Sam an annoyed look, “She wasn’t distracting me. I’m just a slow eater.”
“Please,” Natasha interjects, “her boyfriend was practically glaring at you the whole time because you wouldn’t stop staring at her.”
“I told you there’s something about her that seems familiar. She doesn’t seem familiar to the Peter side of me, but she seems familiar to the Spidey side of me.”
“Maybe you should tell Spidey that you have a girlfriend and to stop staring at other girls. Especially with ones that have murderous-looking boyfriends,” Bucky adds.
“He was pretty hot,” Wanda states, “I get why she’s with him.”
“Yeah,” Steve agrees.
“Hey!” Bucky exclaims while giving Steve an offended look. “I’m right here.”
“Am I wrong?”
“No,” Bucky sighs in defeat.
“If you're all done discussing how hot some guy is, let’s get back to the house. I hate to say it, but I’m tired and ready to sleep for as long as possible,” Tony declares.
They all quickly agree that they’re ready to leave. After Tony pays the bill, they head toward the car. Peter is forced to sit in the back, squished between Thor and Sam.
When they arrived at the house, Peter’s right leg was numb from how he was sitting. Thor climbs out first before he stumbles his way out.
“Thor, can you stop getting bigger muscles? They’re eventually going to need their own seat at this rate.”
“You’re jealous, spider boy,” Thor quips, “I can not help how powerful I am.”
“I’m not jealous,” Peter huffs, “I just like being able to feel my legs.”
As they walk inside, the group departs and heads to their rooms. As Peter enters his room, he grabs his toiletries from his suitcase before heading toward the bathroom down the hall. When he re-enters his room, he slowly strips himself of his clothes before throwing them into a pile in the corner of the room.
Staring at the bed, Peter decides he won’t be able to sleep with it in the corner. He moves the bed so that it’s now underneath the skylight. Once he climbs into bed, he stares up at the stars, and his mind runs with thoughts about the girl at the diner.
He can’t help but wonder why his spider-senses seemed to be drawn to her. It felt as if they knew her, but he’d never seen her before. Maybe he has but he can’t remember. She didn’t seem to know who he was, so it was unlikely that they knew each other.
He tossed and turned for an hour, unable to sleep. It felt weird being back in the room without Y/N. He caught himself staring at the ground multiple times as if she’d be there sleeping on the pull-out. He huffs in frustration before realizing there’s only one way he will be able to sleep tonight.
He slides off the bed and pulls out the bed underneath it. It still has the same blue sheets it had fifteen years ago. Y/N insisted that the sheets make the color of Steve’s Captain America uniform.
Pulling down his pillows and comforter, Peter settled onto the bed. He also let the overwhelming emotions of being back at the lake house finally settle over him.
That’s how Peter fell asleep—laying on the pull-out with his head full of thoughts and memories and his cheeks stained with fallen tears.

It's honestly really fluffy also kissing/making out but it doesn't get worse than that.
You Can't Run Away

"Don't waste your breath, babe!" The man calls out to you from the couch ss he strums idly on his guitar," No one can hear you from in here."
You quickly turn around, the door opened enough just to tease you and capture your attention. After the short dramatic strum of the man's guitar, you run for the exit only to see the man leaning against the now shut door.
"You can't run away, pretty. You'll start ruining everything that's in place and she can't have that." He explains as if you were a child before nodding towards the couch. "Go sit."
"No." You shake your head, glaring at him, which in return made him smirk at you.
Within a spilt second you were rather delicately set on the middle cushion of the couch as the man is now across the room, blending up a milkshake. (Pretty sure I read an article that said that)
"How did you do that?" You question quickly, confused, but a little intrigued by him.
"I'm pretty good at running." He chuckles, tossing you a dimpled grin from over his shoulder.
You unintentionally smile back before glancing to the mess of papers stacked on the table to thd side. Shuffling through them, you eventually come across what looked to be a headshot. It looked like the man across the room, only maybe a few years younger, with his hair looking to be natural brunette.
But the name was what threw you off.
"Is your name really Ralph Boner?" You question while trying not to laugh, it wasn't even that funny.
The man however proceeds to practically giggle out loud as he now browses his movie collection.
"Heh, boner."
"So, you're not Ralph then?"
"Pfft no way, babe." He grins at you once again, but instead of you smiling back you simply stare at him confused.
"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" He asks while speeding to sit beside you, his arm immediately wrapping around your shoulders, and tucking you against his side.
"Something isn't right out there." You mumble as you glance past him out the small basement window, seeing the sky gradually turn more shades of scarlet.
"Of course, that's why you're in here, with me." Not-Ralph replies simply, tossing away the headshot from your hand before leaning into kiss you.
You freeze as his other arm wraps around your waist, pulling you closer to him, so now you were almost sideways across his lap.
His soft lips brushed against yours, making you quickly move yours away from his.
"You basically kidnapped me." You state quietly, meeting his eyes, and try not to stare at his lips as he bit at them.
"A perk of the job." Not-Ralph smirks as you try not to smile while rolling your eyes. He quite literally sweeped you off feet in more ways than just the literal sense. How was he so charming? Why did this feel so right?
"I don't even know you..." You whisper as a pathetic excuse, while trying (and failing) to avoid his puppy dog eyes.
"Well, we can get to know each other..." He whispers before capturing your lips with his own in an unexpectedly passionate kiss.
You hesitate for a second before returning the kiss, tangling your fingers into the hair at the base of his neck, tugging lightly and making not-Ralph moan into your mouth.
You feel heat quickly rise up to your face as you break the intense kiss, laughing quietly as not-Ralph's lips search out for yours. You press your hand against his lips before they can connect to yours again.
As he eyes peek open he immediately grins at your flustered state. His eyes slowly wander from your face down your body.
"Nice outfit change." He winks, only flustering you further as you glance down to see what you were wearing. A tank top and skinny jeans, wait weren't you just wearing something completely different? How did that happen?
Glancing back up at not-Ralph, you notice his own outfit change.
"I could say the same about you." You smile, brushing your hand across the shiny silver of his jacket. His whole previous outfit was completely replaced, topped off with goggles instead of a Smurf-like beanie.
But the necklace was what threw you off.
It was still the same and didn't change. You reached up to touch it, but quickly draw you hand back as you feel a sort of sting against your fingertips.
"How come your necklace didn't change, Peter?" You ask him, preoccupied with staring at the necklace to notice what you said. It felt almost as if the necklace was telling you to touch it- to take it from not-Ralph.
"What did you just call me?" The sharp edge to his voice makes you meet his eyes.
"...Ralph?.."
"Nooo, you said as different name. What was it?" He asks you almost desperately, grasping your wrists quickly in a tight grip as you try to touch his necklace again.
"Why does it matter?" You huff, trying to pull your wrists from him," Let me go."
"Nuh-uh, not till you tell me my name." He persists, making you glare at him as you snatch your wrists from his grip before trying to run out the door.
Peter easily catches you with an arm around your hips and tugs your back against his chest, resting his chin on your shoulder.
"You can't run away," He whispers in your ear then starts kissing at your neck.
It felt ...familiar?
Oh
"Peter..." You sigh, remembering that very specific memory, before spinning around and facing him. "Its that necklace. Its hurting you."
Peter nods his head, oddly silent, watching you intently.
Agatha said Fietro was her eyes and ears for Wanda, but he could still control most of his actions.
"I don't know..." You shrug, not knowing what to do to get this necklace off of him. But if you listened to it's call and put it on, surely Peter could get it off you?
Trying to think only about wearing it, you reach out to the necklace again, and it quite literally falls into your hands.
Peter gasps in shock as he's freed from Agatha's necklace only to recognize you were about to put it on yourself and give Agatha your power instead.
Frantically Peter smacks it out of your hands and sends it flying through the air before picking you up and speeding the both of you outside.
You lean your head heavily against Peter's shoulder and when Peter looks down he sees you had fallen asleep or most likely passed out from all the dizzying sensations of Agatha's magic. As well as, speeding with you from the first time.
"James E. Wo-" Jimmy's eyes widen as he looks at his witness and the girl curled up in Peter's arms.
"Yeah, yeah, Jimmy. I was just about to go searching for you." Peter smiles half heartedly, glancing down at you in his arms, sound asleep.
"Who is she?" Jimmy asks curiously with a nod at your form.
"Mutant, I know her, well used to. Apparently Wanda isn't the only one breaking through the multiverse." Peter explains quietly to Jimmy.
"You mean she can create portals to other wor-"
"-she needs to be in witness protection with me, Jimmy." Peter cuts him off quickly.
You had risked so much to break through the multiverses strict hold, and all for what?
Him?
