Looking back at the arc, this cover gets another meaning. These are the heroes most responsible for the defeat of the Monster Association. Because nobody does it on their own.

Saitama's one lethal weakness

Ingesting substances that are harmful to him without his conscious knowledge. (Yep I've thought this before but Anime anxiety reminded me of this.)

Happily eating leftover noodles or rice and oh shoot, food poisoning.

And food poisoning can actually get pretty lethal very fast and even crippling. Noodles and rice are notorious for going bad real fast. Could even be some leftover cake or something from a cafe.

Suddenly real drama where his powers might even work against him.

Even if he consciously protects his insides, if he unconsciously eats something and he doesn't think it's harmful...then it might actually harm him because he didn't think about protecting himself.

Death by food poisoning would be such a mundane way to go but man...food poisoning is no joke.

But it would work with anything he doesn't notice is a threat, like viruses. Heck, he would go down to a common flu because nobody has said he's immune to poison or viral infections or substances he doesn't think are harmful to him, like Pig god can ingest anything ever known to man and not feel it in comparison, but Saitama can feel the spice in the food affect his body. That alone tells me his physiology is entirely affected by the food he eats too.

Hell, knock the poor man out with the classic chloroform. It's not like his other senses are protected by him either, like vision. His senses are definitely his weak points, like in certain upcoming webcomic event.

Funny how the enemy just now actually thought about using poison. Oh my. Saitama wouldn't even know what hit him, an actually dangerous enemy. Apollo is legitimately lethally dangerous anti-Saitama, moreso than Garou. We also know Saitama loves good food, it would be too simple to slip anything to him even.

And wouldn't Apollo just LOVE to get his hands on ANOTHER holder of the third eye, someone who doesn't even know it consciously. Since he failed to get Psykos and he woved to get revenge on Tatsumaki. If anything, this man would love to kidnap Saitama for experimenting and he's smart enough to succeed in doing so too, because Saitama can definitely be outsmarted too.

(Saitama sickfics should be made canon tbh)

When you see a fat hero in OPM, you better understand their fatness is a part of their abilities, not a handicap they work around.

Building on the out of context post, the speed with which Pig God can move when he’s motivated gives me goose pimples.

Not to mention the healing abilities of his fat, which are a whole ‘nother can of wonder.

Fundamentally, in OPM, there are many heroes who don’t look like the stereotypical hero. If you cannot make what you have work *for* you, you won’t last as a hero in their world. Hero work is just too hard.

So don’t you dare ask the fat hero to go on a diet.

Nature strikes back?

There is obviously a lot of wildlife in the OPM verse, what happens to all the animals getting displaced by human and monster gods duking it out and literally causing natural disasters, wiping out terrains and coastline to be transformed entirely?

Anybody looking out for any of this wildlife? Not just in the sense of preservation of local wildlife and ecosystem, but if fishes disappear from the coast, that's going to affect people's ability to get food. I'd wager that they do eat a lot of fish in opm verse, being that close to coastline.

And not just that, but doing this type of damage to the planet is going to make bunch of already hostile to humans, sapient species mad.

Mother Nature itself is gonna get mad when the core of the Earth got attacked.

"Foreshadowing of human extinction, cast from mother ocean", yeap that sounds like foreshadowing alright hahaa...

Now aint that's a thought...Earth being sentient...straight from the mouth of Vaccineman himself.

Speaking of ocean...Evil natural water is really scary af when you think about that with the combination of all the ocean water in OPM, it could just flood the entire civilization in a large tsunami if it got large enough.

But what evil natural water lacked was direction and emotions to guide it. It only ever responded defensively to threats.

Would such a resilient threat just disappear even if Pig God digests it? Now I suddenly worry that it does not.

Nope, it does not go away just like that. The evil intent is staying. I can see that much all the way from here.

Ain't human body mostly composed of water anyway? Like 70% water? What's stopping evil natural water from controlling humans as well if we're composed mostly of water?

So what happens when Pig god does his business in the toilet and remnants of evil natural water get into the water supply system? It would spread like a virus.

And then humans start drinking said water?

Are we going to get a Culling of Stratholme from Warcraft 3 type of scenario? Where the human population eats grain, a ploy from the dreadlord Mal'Ganis and they get poisoned by the undead plague? Then Arthas the Paladin purges the city of the undead because he sees no other choice, which sends him to descend down towards the path of becoming the Lich King?

Oh boy...

*rubs hands*

Saitama's intuition is probably screaming at him that something bad is going on, but he doesn't know what exactly is happening since he does not have enough knowledge.
