I Choose ones that are actually sequels, not prequels or inbetweeners (sorry lion king 1/2 and Bambi 2). Also had to be direct to video, not theater release (I'm very sad I couldnt include Return to Neverland but it had a theatrical release).

Animated 1: Cinderella III: A Twist in Time v Pocahontas 2: Journey to a New World

Cinderella III {original-Cinderella (1950)}

Cinderella gets a more active role, The Prince gets a personality, and Anastasia gets a character arc! Plus the Prince is hilarious.

Such void character development and helps provide some explanation for the plot holes in the original.

Dude, it's so good at developing the characters. Prince Charming has some funny moments (him jumping out the window is iconic), Cinderella is shown to be clever (she sneaks into the castle, and Anastasia get some sweet moments. While the original is a classic, this sequel has something that it doesn't.

One random thing that always pops into my head and makes me laugh at the sheer absurdity every single time is one tiny thing from Pocahontas 2, a very bad movie. The thing that makes me laugh is one bit in the climax where they’re all on a boat, and John Smith has just called out to the evil crew, and someone yells “It’s John Smith!” Then John Smith himself replies in a ‘ghost voice’, “I am the ghost of John Smith” before rearing up on his horse as the evil crew all jump overboard. It cracks me up every time it pops into my head and I’ve only seen the movie like two times in my life 😭😭😭.

202nd edit of mine and inspired by @thenamelessdoll this edit here and I am actually really glad how the coloring change worked out. Belle being paler was tricky, until I layer one image of the screenshot overall the lighter, but one layer kept her outfit + hair same tint. John actually looks way more alive with darker hair like Belle. XD I am so glad too I found that screenshot or scene of Charming (or Christopher @airasora ;D) looking shocked and if edited a bit, his hand looks out reached. “No John, come back, I want you, not her”.

I saw your recent addition to the Bi MEP and you used John R, and made me want to ask, even if he is dating Anastasia, is he your AU bi?

Not sure what you mean by "even if he is dating Anastasia"? That sounds like you think that DESPITE him dating Anastasia he's bisexual? But being bisexual means being attracted to more than one gender so him dating a woman doesn't make him less bisexual 😅

I know you didn't mean it that way, but as someone who's bisexual, I can't count how many times I was told: "Oh, you're bi? Even if you're dating a man?" Well, yeah, I can do that cause, you know, I'm attracted to men AS WELL 😂

Again, I know you didn't mean it that way, it just sounded a bit too close like something bisexual people hear a lot as a way to undermine our sexuality, even though that obviously wasn't your intention ❤️

But to answer your actual question, I suppose he is. Part of the reason is probably due to his reaction when he first sees Uti, which is also why I used that scene in the video 😂 I know the developers didn't intend that, but his reaction has always given a "How you doing?" vibe from me, like Joey from F.R.I.E.N.D.S 🤣

For the couple tournament, what about couples that are the main characters BUT it's from a direct to home video sequel?(with the couple not being in the first) Since those aren't AS mainstream

You can submit them, they will be addressed on a case by case basis. We probably wouldn't allow Pocahontas and John Rolfe but we would consider couples like Anastasia & the Baker and Jaq & Mary (Cinderella II)
