~Authors Note: IK I Went From Putting Red Hued Images To Putting Gifs But To Me The Still Images Looked Plain, So I Changed It Up. 🤍 He has ADHD

🤍 It takes him a long time to go to sleep, he occasionally gets these random bursts of energy at rather late at night, or early in the morning. There is no inbetween—or, at least that inbetween rarely ever happens

🤍 Because of these random bursts, he has a wonky sleep schedule, or, at least he would if Ingo wasn’t there. Ingo keeps him awake during work hours

🤍 Yes, he does, in fact, carry Joltiks in his hat

🤍 On off days, he likes to wear very baggy shirts and socks when he’s chilling at home, but when he goes out he likes wearing dresses in the summer, they’re comfy and casual but some of them came from expensive brands, same goes for his other pieces of clothing (Ah, the perks of being close friends with the popular gym leader that’s a super model)

🤍 Speaking of Elesa, she visits him and Ingo when she has time, he’s very comfortable around her and they usually go out to get a drink on their off days

🤍 One time Elesa painted Emmets nails and he was NEVER the same. He’s been begging Elesa and Ingo to take him shopping to get nail polish so he can paint his nails everyday

🤍 Before, when him and Ingo were younger, he never really found any interest that he stuck to for too long. They would all just be hyperfixiations, then he would get bored of it. Things relating to trains and railroads is the only topic that has kept him interested in years

🤍 The certain things Emmet does when speaks, repeating “I am Emmet” or when he emphasizes certain words in his sentences like “You are verrrrrrry strong trainers”, are vocal stims.

🤍 When Ingo magically disappeared, getting taken to the Hisui region, he didn’t know what to do

🤍 He took several days off of work, searching every route and subway car to try and find him. Elesa also helped with the search, looking around Nimbasa city

🤍 Emmet really was about to leave Nimbasa city to go find him. Elesa had to PHYSICALLY stop him.

🤍 Before he tried again, Elesa tried to contact as many gym leaders as she could, asking if they could keep an eye out for him. She told him they they’d contact them if they saw him

🤍 He cried. So many nights. He REALLY had a messed up sleep schedule then

🤍 He went from threatening to leave Nimbasa to find him, to genuinely considering traveling the world to find him

🤍 Until he comes back, he will be in constant mental fatigue, and Elesa has to keep a close eye on him

🤍 Despite his mental state, when he manages to force himself on the job, he forces his signature smile

🤍 With his brother gone, he has to double on keeping the whole subway station alive and well. Even when his coworkers express worry for him, and say they can handle it, he refuses to let them take his role as Subway Boss

Emmet x Male Goth Reader!

Being the final boss of a certain line in the subway, there are some days when Emmet doesn't battle anyone. How boring! How completely boring! He would much rather battle anyone than sit at his desk doing paperwork.

Then he hears your battle from the next compartment. Though he can't see what you look like, he can hear your Pokèmon, fighting each other fiercely. He stands up from his seat, unwrinkles his coat by smoothing it out with his hands, and prepares himself to battle you.

When the doors of the subway compartment opens, it floods with smoke from your earlier battle. Emmet doesn't speak yet and watches your silhouette approach from the dark mist.

Being in Nimbasa City, he's seen all sorts of people. Old, young, rich, poor, expressive and dull. But you?

You stood tall in a pair of tall, heeled boots. Dressed in a pair of pants that had decorative black belts, a white shirt with skull design, multiple facial and ear piercings, all gold. You had a black cardigan on with the sleeves rolled up, exposing your blackwork styled tattoos of various Pokèmon.

Emmet can't help but to smile. You're verrry different compared to him. Your battle is exhilerating and thrilling!

After that day, he starts to take note of you more when you travel using the subway.

He approaches you one day. Asking the same questions everyone else has. Did those tattoos and piercings hurt? You laugh and tell him yes, they do each time you get yourself one.

You and your Pokemon follow a black and gold color scheme. He is reminded by your choice of Pokemon when he fought against you, having a Dusknoir and Umbreon on your team. You show off your newest tattoo as well, an Eelektross on your upper shoulder. He's more than enticed at this point.

This color scheme is intentional, since you love black and gold colors. You have more Pokèmon at home that are sedentary pets.

Ingo teases Emmet in secret, acting on his older brother instinct to make fun of his sibling with how Emmet gushes about you in private.

After having battled him enough times, your uh...Eelektross and his begin to get more than friendly. Your eyes widen and you ramble in a laugh while apologizing when your Pokèmon offers his one of your shiny gold charms. It looks like the Pokèmon see each other as their mates.

With this happening, it became almost impossible to fight Emmet if you both used your Eelektross. The two would get into a cuddle pile, whining and hissing when you have to pull them apart.

You're embarrassed but you both laugh and ask for Emmet's number so you can set up playdates. He immediately agrees.

Your Pokèmons plotted this entirely. They get a partner and now their human does too

Tired eyes looked out upon the landscape, soaking in the surroundings as they came into view. This was home. It had all that was ever needed.

Though it was lonely. Just the creator and the seldom pokèmon that inhabited the region. Humanity had not trampled upon the lush lands yet. A blessing, despite the overarching feeling of loneliness the ruler held.

It was fine, however. Nothing else was necessary here. Life could be enjoyed in quiet piece, until the powers possessed were needed again. A peaceful existence was all that could ever be wished for.

Pale eyes opened, sitting up in the familiar room she inhabited. It was a strange feeling, recalling the events of the night prior. She still was unsure of how to feel about her time at the Gala.

From friends to enemies, and even moreso the stranger whom had led her home last night. Questions swirled in the albino’s head as she got ready for the day. She couldn’t help but worry about what ot all meant, the thoughts following her as she walked into the main hall. There she found her assistant, and the strange legend whom she had met the other day.

“Ah, you wake My Lady.” Tornadus stated, looking over as she walked in. The two fellow legends approached her, the former holding the black and white egg they had found. “Rest assured the egg has been in good care since your brief departure! Though it might appreciate your warmth better than mine.”

“Thank you Tor. We should resume the search today.” Reshi nodded, taking the egg into her arms once more. “I’m sure the mother is worried. Hopefully she’s still in the area.”

“I’m sure she is!” The yellow clad man piped up, a wide grin plastered on his face. “I mean if she did abandon it that would be a horrible thing to do! What would we do with the kid?”

“It could have been left out of necessity though. We may not know the reasons.” The other man stated calmly. Reshi thought for a moment before speaking. “Whatever the reasons, it needs a home and it’s our duty to help it until it is in proper care. Let’s go.”

As they began to leave the tower, another question came into the goddess’s head. “Tornadus, where have your brothers run off to?”

“They stated they needed to return to their posts this morning. Ensure the region is still stable for the time being. You know how it is My Lady.”

A wince came from her, unseen by her loyal servant. “Ah. I understand.”

Here's the quickest rundown I can give

So uh in Children Of Legend, I basically played "how self-indulgent of an au can I make" and it worked.

Basically certain humans are marked as "Children Of Legend" meaning a Legendary or in some cases, Mythical Pokémon has sorta adopted the person, giving them special abilities (and in some cases, immortality.)

Our thee main characters (OCs)

Vincent - Born in Unova, raised in Paldea, Child of Hoopa, known for his bright spirit and sharp wits, horrid self-worth issues

Kai - ohhhh boy so we took a white haired twink and threw them into the ancient past. Guess what happened. (They tried to make a friend and got LITERALLY backstabbed), Child of Arceus (hates that fact), known for their constant distrust of others, hates the dark

Lyla - Born and raised in Galar, became Champion, Child of Giratina, known for her stubbornness and lighthearted attitude, too stubborn for her own good

Some honorable mentions of certain driving forces in this AU

Volo (THE WHOLE REASON THIS AU EXISTS) - Child of Arceus (his ass doesn't know that until the second arc(?)), fucking despises Kai for stopping him

Leon and Hop - Children of Eternatus, both support Lyla without any hesitation, Hop goes to Paldea at some point

Arven - WHERE DO I FUCKING START WITH HIM, He's the whole reason the events kick off in current day, he knows what the Children Of Legend are...

PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE ; most people, even strangers, know about this

His involvment with Neo Team Plasma. like come on look at me and tell me his attacks weren't broadcasted all over the world.

He's one of the smartest people in the whole world

SEMI-PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE ; selected groups of people know about this

Achroma Nikolaï Colress, his full name.

His involvement with the Kyurem experiments

His involvement during the events of Black&White. He was chilling in the back rows

His involvment during the Rainbow Rocket attack in Alola

He misses his right arm and left leg, both amputated after severe frostbite

He has some odd scars on his left arm, similar to burn scars

He seems to be quite close to a few professors, and is sometimes seen around Professor Sada. They're besties :D

PRIVATE KNOWLEDGE ; very few people know about this - in doubt, please ask!

The frostbite were caused by Kyurem

He works for the Interpol, specifically in branches involving the Ultra Space and other... let's call them oddities such as Time Distortions, alternate timelines and whatever is going on with Area Zero if that knowledge becomes public

He's a Faller himself, and has some connections with the Ultra Recon Squad after he got a little too close to a bunch of Nihilegos

He was intoxicated by those Nihilegos, and keeps some of their toxins with him everytime.

He captured a Nihilego, and keeps it in his PC. Not even his new co-workers know about it!

His current location. For his own safety.

Oh you wish you knew how much he experimented on his Pokèmon. He managed to hack a few of his Teammates to make them Teleport away, and in hindsight he found the process so easy he genuinely wonders why more people don't just hack their Artificial Pokèmon.

He's not quite sure this is his own timeline, really... but considering that so far he didn't see many differences and the people he messed with are angry with him even here, chances are that, even if he jumped universe, he ended up landing in one very similar to his.

He doesn't seem to fear anything... except for Hydreigons. Wonder why, huh!

An “Unknown” Discovery

A/N: first time writing a tickle fanfic, ya’ll!! apologies if it looks bad or just sorta meh, but despite all that, i hope you still enjoy!

Summary: Gold begins to feel sorrow the more he thinks about seeing his mother again. Upon noticing this, the Unown attempt to cheer up the child, but they make a sudden discovery that might just work.

Gold’s eyeless sockets stared off into space as the group of Unown floated about. He couldn’t help but think how long he’s been staying in this grave for. It felt like years, but it’s been at least a month since his death.

Darkness surrounded him, and the only thing that made him feel less lonely were the chirping sounds of red-eyed Unown communicating with each other, a few of them glancing at Gold. He couldn’t tell if these were their shiny forms, not having seen a real one before.

And speaking of them, if he had listened to those signs of what they were trying to tell him when he entered the Bellsprout Tower, he wouldn’t have ended up limbless in the first place, yet curiosity had gotten the best of him. He should’ve realized what was wrong and left back home safe. Safe with…

“…Mom..”

Gold looked down as guilt rushed through him the moment he remembered his mother. He had almost forgotten about her, and this was all his fault. She must be feeling so sad back at her home, thinking she might be the worst mother ever.

He begins to reminisce about those calm times where she’d make him his favorite grilled cheese sandwiches, the time when he showed his newly-chosen Cyndaquil to her and how she was proud. All of the memories made him want to see her again, but there was no other way. He was stuck here, possibly forever.

What if Mom soon forgets about him like he never existed? What if she does something to hurt herself out of guilt? What if she-

A sudden noise snapped the child out of it, causing him to quickly turn his head around only to see an Unown in the alphabet shape of an A letter staring at him. He was deep in thought that he hadn’t noticed the groups of Unown looking at him with seemingly worry.

A tear ran down his face from his sockets. The red-eyed creatures began forming some words together, the sentence appearing with what he assumes to be them asking:

‘ARE YOU OKAY?’

“I…” He spoke, more black tears forming as he recieves a certain memory of his mother and him hugging. This broke him.

“I-I miss my mommy!” Gold yelled, bursting into tears. The Unown exchanged looks with each other, seeing the sight of a crying child in despair. One of them floated over to him before nuzzling against his shoulder as a way of comfort.

A few more decided to join in on comforting the boy, sounds of chirping emitting from them as if they were telling him everything would be alright. Gold’s sobbing quiets down as he notices the Pokèmon attempting to make him feel better. It seems to be working, but not so much.

“I miss mommy s-so much.. I wish I c-could see her again…” He stuttered. The Unown did love to play around with him like a puppet, but they weren’t always so torturous or heartless. They had a soul too.

Gold’s crying suddenly pauses with a hitch of breath as he flinched the second he felt a tingling sensation. His visible white pupils looked over to spot a W-shaped Unown near his neck.

The red-eyed group of alphabets stared with curiosity in their eyes for a while before a snicker disturbed the silence as the W-shaped Unown nuzzled against Gold’s neck again.

“Q-Quihit that!”

It stops with a surprised chirp. The group float away from the limbless child and huddle up, seemingly discussing about something. Gold becomes a little confused, tilting his head. What were they planning to do with him? Whatever it is, he hopes they haven’t changed back to their old torturous selves.

The Unown, now having finished with their unintelligible conversation, turn around to Gold before forming into a message. And what it turned out to be was… unexpected.

‘ARE YOU TICKLISH?’

A blush shows on his face upon seeing the question. Did they really ask him that? He sat there silent with the red-eyed Unown staring, patiently waiting for an answer.

“Mmmayybee…?” He answers with slight embarrassment.

The creatures exchanged looks before slowly approaching him creating another message.

‘LIES’

This one sounded somewhat more of a tease than a threat. Gold tries to back up but remembers he has no arms or legs. All he could do was flail his “arms” about, unaware of one of the Unown sneaking up behind him with the simple goal to go inside his jacket through the hood.

“N-No! I’m not lying! I-I’m not that ticklish, plus I think I’m feeling better noOHOHOW-!” Gold gets interrupted by the sudden feeling of what felt like a Spinarak crawling inside his clothing, squirming around while giggling. “Sstahahap! G-Gehehet outta thehere!”

The red-eyed Pokèmon from inside of the jacket chirped, brushing against the child’s sides as it scattered around. Gold tries to hold in his laughter, but to no avail.

“Pfftahaha! NaHAHAt thehere!” He (somehow) kicked his “legs”, trying to shake out whatever was in his clothing. One of the Unown from the spectating group floated over to participate in the tickle attack, nuzzling against the young champion’s neck, earning more giggles from him.

“WAHAIT-! Nohohot yohohou too!” He yelped, trying to scrunch up his shoulders to stop the Unown, but he hesitated since he was worried he might accidentally hurt it.

More from the floating group joined as they began going through the hood of his jacket, tickly sensations from the stomach catching Gold off guard which resulted in him falling over on his back, now laying on the ground laughing. All worries about his mother soon went away.

“Plehehehease, hahahAVE MEHEHERCY! BAHAHAHA!” The feeling of nuzzles suddenly turned into wiggling fingers skittering at his armpit. Whatever could be doing that, he assumes it might be the same W-shaped Unown that tickled his neck. “AHAHANYWHERE BUHUT THEHEEHRE!” He plead, shaking his head while giggling like the child he was.

Gold turns his head to the other side, and of course the Unown had to make this embarrassing message in case they got his attention.

‘TICKLE TICKLE’

He wished he had his arms back permanently just to hide the growing blush on his face.

“OHOHOHOH *hic* SHUSH, WIHIHIHILL *hic* YAHAHAHA!” He hiccuped, unable to speak whilst in hysterical laughter. The red-eyed Pokémon saw this as their cue to stop as to avoid going overboard, stopping their playful tickling before exiting out of the jacket to let him catch his breath.

Gold laid on the ground for a moment, glancing around at the letters surrounding him seeing if he was still alright. It didn’t take too long for the phantom tickles to cease before another group of Unown assisted in getting Gold back up.

Upon being pushed up from the ground, his hat falls off his head. The creatures take notice of this before picking it up, spelling out ‘HERE’.

“Thank you..” He thanked them as they carefully put the hat back on his head. The Unown happily chirped, now spelling ‘HUG?’ as an offer.

He nods with a smile, allowing the group to huddle around him as their own way of hugging him, one of them nuzzling his neck making him chuckle.

Gold may not have his mother around, but he’s at least fine with being accompanied by red-eyed letters that aren’t so soulless than he thought.

1st Person Pronouns in Pocket Monsters Special

I thought it would be fun to have a look at what 1st person pronouns the Pokèdex Holders use in the Pokèmon manga, Pocket Monsters Special (known as Pokèmon Adventures in English).

Note: In Japanese, there are a ton of different 1st person pronouns people can use, and Japanese media often makes copious use of them. In a lot of shounen and shoujo manga/anime casts, you'll often get a large variety of 1st person pronouns in use by different characters to help flesh out their personality traits.

Note: I am not a native Japanese speaker, and I only have a conversational level in Japanese, as opposed to a fluent level. As such, please don't take anything I say as gospel.

* Red (レッド) ^ Fighter (戦う者): ore (オレ)

* Green Orchid (オーキド・グリーン) ^ Trainer (育てる者): ore (オレ)

* Blue (ブルー) ^ Evolver (化える者): atashi (アタシ)

Here's a rough outline of what all these pronouns indicate:

* watashi (私): 私 watashi is one of the more formal ways to refer to oneself in the 1st person. The fact that it's written in kanji and not in hiragana or katakana increases the politeness. When it's used by women, it can be perceived as casual as well, but it's usually only used by men in formal situations.

* watashi (わたし): わたし watashi is slightly less formal than 私 watashi, due to the fact that わたし watashi is written in hiragana. It's a safe way for a woman to refer to herself in both formal and casual situations. It can be used by men in formal settings, but it comes off as somewhat stiff if men use it in casual settings. When spelled in katakana (ワタシ), it can perceived as quite rough.

* atashi (あたし): あたし atashi is a less formal, more feminine version of わたし watashi. It has a "girly" and "cutesy" tone to it. The fact that it's spelled in hiragana makes it a pretty neutral 1st person pronoun for girls.

* atashi (アタシ): アタシ atashi is a rougher version of あたし atashi , due to it being spelled in katakana. It's one of the most informal 1st person pronouns a girl can use, though it still has the same "girly" and "cutesy" tone to it as its hiragana counterpart.

* boku (ボク): ボク boku is usually used by boys but can be used by girls, particularly tomboys. When spelled in kanji (僕) or hiragana (ぼく), it can be a formal way for boys to speak, but when spelled in katakana (ボク), and when used by girls, it's pretty informal.

* ore (オレ): オレ ore is a very rough, "boyish" way to refer to oneself in the 1st person. It's rarely used by girls. It can occasionally be spelled in kanji (俺) or hiragana (おれ), but the katakana spelling (オレ) is usually preferred, because it helps emphasise the roughness of the pronoun.

* orecchi (オレっち): オレっち orecchi is a slightly less rough version of オレ ore. In this case, its first half, オレ ore, is spelled in katakana, while its second half, っち cchi, is spelled in hiragana. This pronoun is usually used by boys who want to appear tough but not quite as tough as boys who use オレ ore.

* oira (オイラ): オイラ oira is similar to オレ ore and オレっち orecchi, but it has a more "friendly" and "country bumpkin" feel to it. It's usually used by boys who want to appear tough but don't want to use オレ ore. One could consider オイラ oira to be a cross "between" ボク boku and オレ ore: more gentle than オレ ore, but more rough than ボク boku.

And, just for fun, here's a list of the many other kinds of 1st person pronouns that I've come across in various Japanese media:

* watakushi (私): 私 watakushi is one of the most polite ways of referring to oneself in the 1st person. It can be used by anyone in formal settings. It's almost always spelled in kanji (私) and rarely in hiragana (わたくし) or katakana (ワタクシ).

* atakushi (あたくし)/atakushi (アタクシ): あたくし atakushi is probably between わたし watashi and あたし atashi in terms of formality. It's often used in fiction by princess-like characters or high-born ladies. It can have a somewhat superior and "snooty" tone to it.

* atai (あたい)/atai (アタイ): あたい atai is a very rough corruption of あたし atashi, usually used by girls. It can almost be thought of as the feminine equivalent of オレ ore, as both are usually only used by people who want to sound tough or aggressive. It's usually written in katakana (アタイ).

* watasha (わたしゃ)/watasha (ワタシャ): わたしゃ watasha is a bit of a "country bumpkin" version of わたし watashi. It's gender-neutral but is usually used by girls. It can be perceived as semantically plural due to the しゃ sha, which is used to make some formal pronouns plural, like 我が waga becoming 我が社 waga-sha. It can carry a single meaning notionally, however.

* atasha (あたしゃ)/watasha (アタシャ): あたしゃ atasha is the feminine equivalent to わたしゃ watasha. Like わたしゃ watasha, あたしゃ atasha has a bit of a "country bumpkin" feel to it. Also like わたしゃ watasha, あたしゃ atasha can carry a plural meaning due to its しゃ sha, though it can still be used in a singular context as well.

* wate (わて)/wate (ワテ): わて wate is a somewhat dated Kansai dialect pronoun. It's informal and gender-neutral, and can still be seen in some, usually older, forms of Japanese media.

* ate (あて)/ate (アテ): あて ate is the feminine equivalent of わて wate. Like わて wate, it's an informal Kansei dialect pronoun, and also like わて wate, あて ate somewhat dated. It shows up in some forms of Japanese media, particularly older ones.

* wai (わい)/wai (ワイ): わい wai is another Kansai dialect pronoun, possibly a severely corrupted form of わたし watashi. It's informal and usually used by boys. Amusingly, it's also a homophone of the Japanese word for yay or yippee, ワイ wai.

* ware (我): 我 ware is a very formal 1st person pronoun that is almost "literary-style" and is usually used in writing. It can be made plural by adding 々 ware.

* waga (我が): 我が waga is an extremely formal, gender-neutral pronoun that literally means my. It can be made plural by adding 社 -sha.

* ore-sama (オレ様): オレ様 ore-sama is usually only used sarcastically or by fictional characters who are extremely arrogant. It can be accurately translated as my esteemed self. It's almost exclusively used by boys.

* jibun (自分): 自分 jibun is a neutral, semi-formal pronoun that can be used by anyone. It's also the reflexive (-self/-selves) form of all pronouns in Japanese. This is actually a very good choice for a 1st person pronoun if you're non-binary and don't want to gender yourself.

* uchi (内): 内 uchi literally means house. It has two uses. Firstly, it can be used as a gender-neutral, somewhat formal way of referring to oneself and members of one's own's group, as in our family, our class, etc. Secondly, 内 uchi is used in western dialects, particularly the Kansai dialect, usually by girls, to indicate a "girly" and "cutesy" tone. In the second case, it's usually written in hiragana (うち) or katakana (ウチ).

* ora (おら)/ora (オラ): おら ora is a corruption of ��イラ oira. Like オイラ oira, it has a bit of a "country bumpkin" tone to it and is usually used by boys. It's considered rougher than オイラ oira. It's usually written in katakana (オラ).

* me (me)/mii (ミー): me, or ミー mii, is from the oblique case of the 1st person pronoun in English, me, though it's used for all cases when applied in Japanese. It's often used by, usually male, characters in Japanese media who are meant to be from America or some other English-speaking country. It's quite rough and informal.
